Good Morning Friday...
Father, Your COMMANDMENTS are a Lamp to our feet. HELP US TO LIVE AWARE, TO CHOOSE WISELY, to stay close to You, and ANCHORED IN Your TRUTH! Thank You FOR Your GREAT LOVE and MERCY. Thank You that You Wait For Us and You STRENGTHen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your Presence, Instruction, AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! - A 10 Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #2 - Right Worship “You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.” Exodus 20:4-6 “You shall not make an engraved image for yourself, any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them; for I, Yahweh, your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me; and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.” Deuteronomy 5:8-10 Instruction: In ancient times, and this still happens today, people would make a physical image of their god and worship it. Yahweh, God Almighty, is invisible in His Nature (Romans 1:20), and so He has commanded His people, us, not to make images that represent Him... or any other god. This commandment is rooted in Our Father’s Love for us and His jealousy for us as His Special Creation. The Bible tells us Our Father is jealous for us, and while it would be easy to take this in the light of Him being mean or negatively possessive, it would be wrong. Our Father In Heaven is not jealous in a mean or negative way, but rather in a just and positive way, the way a husband loves a wife and would be jealous if she was unfaithful. Here He is showing His deep affection for us, His People, and His Immense Love (James 4.5). The Giving of Thanks: If Our Father, The One True and Living God, had not redeemed us, we all would still be worshipping the idols (1 Peter 1:18). HalleluYah! Because of His Love, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, has come to redeem us and turn us to The Only True God. He Has Made A Way for us to turn away from all idols and serve Him (1Thessalonians 1:9). The only response to God Our Father’s clear invitation to us is... thanksgiving! One Brother (Luther) states it as well as anyone could when he exclaims: "How could we ever--in all eternity--thank Him enough!" Confession: Let us confess our many idolatries. We could be tempted here to think that we are “okay” because we have not bowed down to a graven image this week, but idolatry is not just limited to the external worship of false gods and/or idols... it goes to the very depths of the values of our hearts. This is why The Bible, in Colossians, classifies covetousness as a form of idolatry (Colossians 3:5). Our Father gives us instruction not to worship images. He has given us the perfect image of Himself in the person of His Son, Christ The King (Col. 1:15). It has been said, and it holds true: "The clear fact is, we become like that which we worship,” and that: "the only image that's important to have stamped on your heart is the image of Jesus Christ (Mehl)." Let us all confess the ways that our hearts and minds may have been conformed to things other than Our King and Savior, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Prayer: God, Our Father In Heaven, you are The One True, Living, and Invisible God (1 Tim 1:17) and we worship you by Your Spirit and in Your Truth. Please remove from us any false images of You, or any other thing, and help us to truly understand who You are by contemplating Your Perfect Image, as shown through the Life and actions of Jesus Christ. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. Extra Fuel for The Soul AKA The Word of God: “For since the creation of the world His invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, both His everlasting power and Mightiness, for them to be without excuse,” Romans 1:20 “And if you call on Him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves with fear during the time of your temporary residence, because you know that you were redeemed from your futile way of life inherited from your ancestors not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with The Precious Blood of Christ, like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb” 1 Peter 1:17-19 “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that The Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” James 4:4-6 “For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve The Living and True God,” I Thessalonians 1:9 “Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” Colossians 3:5 “He Is The Image of The Invisible God, The Firstborn Over All Creation.” Colossians 1:15 “Now unto The King Eternal, Immortal, Invisible, The Only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 1:

Good Morning Thursday...
AMEN! - A 10 Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #3 - Honoring God Our Father and Savior’s Name “You shall not misuse The Name of Yahweh your God, because Yahweh will not leave unpunished anyone who misuses His Name.” Exodus 20:7 Instruction: People have been crying out to Our Father since the beginning of time. It is one thing to cry out to God Almighty by titles such as: God, King, Master, Father, or LORD, but it is quite another to call out to Him by His Name, Yahweh. Can you imagine visiting a king, president, or ruler and not speaking to him with lofty titles such as your majesty, president, or your highness, but by their first name? That would suggest friendship, a close relationship, and a familiarness with that king. What a privilege we have with Our Father, The One True and Living King of All! We can read in The Bible where earthly kings are spoken about and none are ever just address by name, yet Our Father tells us to “Call Out To Him” and by His Name (Jeremiah 33:3)... a mighty privilege indeed, reserved for only those closest to Him. Our Father did not give us this privilege of knowing His Name though to be abused, hence The Third Commandment (Exodus 20:7). An interesting fact: In the ancient civilizations in which Israel lived among it was believed that if you could figure out one of the false pagan gods personal names, you could control them. In The Third Command to Israel, then and now, Our Father is lovingly telling us that we are not to take the extreme privilege of Him having revealed His Name to us for granted. Our Father is telling us not to abuse this privilege. His Name is not a magic charm, He cannot be controlled, and we can’t just have whatever we want because we use His Name, especially if we use it in vanity. We are to use Our Father’s Name as an expression of respect, Love, and to show the relationship we have with Him. Maybe none of us has ever used His Name as a sort of magic charm, we hope, but we have all tried to manipulate and control Him, bending Him to our will rather than submitting to His. * Note: Yeshua, or as most of us learned His Name, Jesus, means “Yahweh Is Salvation.” This means calling on The Name of Jesus, is in fact... Calling on The Name of Yahweh. 🎯🔥 How much sense does that make when Yeshua tells us to “pray in His Name?” Perfect sense. When we pray in The Name of Yeshua or Jesus, we are praying in The Name of The Father and The Son. The Wisdom of Our Father Is... Never Ending. 🎯🔥🙌 The Giving of Thanks: It is a great privilege, honor, and a sign of how much Our Father loves us that He has revealed His Name to us, and we should be extremely thankful. By making His Name known to us and revealing who He Is, His Character and Nature, we should thank Him everyday. Let’s take a moment now to thank Him, God Our Father In Heaven, for revealing His Name and His Character to us so vividly in His Word, in our lives, and since our conversion, in our hearts. Confession: Confess to God Our Father the ways that you have tried to control or manipulate Him rather than submit to Him. Do you ever try to force Him, God Almighty, to move His Hand? Have you treated Our Father’s Name with disrespect or treated lightly the fact that He Has Revealed His Very Character and Essence to You in the person of Yeshua, Jesus Christ? Confess these things to Him, resting in His Great Love for you and the forgiveness He Offers for all these things in Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ. Prayer: Our Dear and Precious Father Yahweh, thank You so much for the revelation of Your Name! You have revealed Yourself to us most fully in Our King, Your Word, Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Who Is The Perfect Expression of Your Name, and in fact Bears Your Name In His. Your Name is The Name Above Every Name and Has No Equal, which you lovingly tell us in Your Word. We Love You, We Praise You, and we say this prayer in Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Mighty Name Father, because... we pray In Your Name As Well. Amen. A 10 Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #4 - Resting In Our Father and Savior12/29/2021 Good Morning Wednesday...
AMEN! - A Ten Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #4 - Resting In Our Father and Savior Instruction: The Sabbath is a special sign for God's Children, Israel, then, and His Children Israel today (Exo 31:13). It reminds us of our covenant with Our Heavenly Father and reminds us of His Mercy and Kindness. It also points us to the true rest that comes through Yeshua, Jesus. For us, God's Children, Israel, the Sabbath is about resting in Our Messiah and with Our Father. We are to rest in our Creator and King and spend time with Him. If we do this He will refill our spiritual lamps with oil. The Giving of Thanks: Our Father cares about our well being. He wants us to rest and get to know Him. He provides physical rest for His Children (Psalms 127:2). He has also provided for us a spiritual rest in Yeshua, Jesus Christ (Heb 4:9-10). Take a moment to thank God for both physical and spiritual rest. Confession: The cycle of Sabbaths was given in Genesis when Our Father rested, just to spend time with us, on The Seventh Day. Why did Our Father begin this cycle you may ask? As we know, He didn't need the rest. It is with no doubt though, He wanted us to rest, and spend time with Him. As Children of God Almighty, we should see this as a great privilege and opportunity to get to know The Greatest Being Who Ever Existed. He states to His People throughout all time, this will be the sign that they are His People and His Children (Exodus 31:13). If we celebrate His Sabbath and take in His Rest on The Seventh Day, as He has instructed, we will know that we are His. If we are working all the time, are we really looking to Our Father for provision? And if we don't spiritually rest and recharge by spending time in His Word, are we really trusting Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ? Let us tell Our Father and confess the ways that we may have been ignoring His Sabbath Rest, working too much, or just being constantly active. It may be, that doing these things may be an expression of our lack of trust for Him. Let us evaluate our true state of being. Trust me, He already knows, but He Loves talking to us and hearing us seek His Guidance. Let us ask Him and confess if we have any spiritual turmoil in our lives that disallows our spiritual rest in Yeshua. Ask Him to deepen our trust in Our King Yeshua, renew our faith, and to find our rest in His True Rest, The Seventh Day... His Sabbath. Remember, "faith without works is dead"(James 2:17), and one of “the works” we are required to show is us respecting His Sabbath Day. Prayer: Dear Father, please let us experience Your True Sabbath. We know we can rest in Your Son and Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and You Our Almighty Father. Please grant us a physical rest so that we may learn to "be still" and trust You for our needs. May our lives reflect the peace, grace, and love of a continual spiritual Sabbath because of everything You have done for us, Your Grateful Children. We ask these things in Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Mighty Name. Amen. *Note: If you have made it this far in the devotion, you are obviously seeking a deeper relationship with Our Father and Savior. I wanted to end today by giving a little testimony about Our Father’s Sabbath Day. For 33 years I personally didn’t understand that Our Father’s True Sabbath Day was on Saturday, the Seventh Day of the week. I assumed, like most, that Sunday had always been the day of worship, but when I began to intently study The Bible, I found out this was not true. It made sense because in Genesis we know that there were 7 days in creation and Our Father rested with Adam and Eve on The 7th Day. It is also a picture of “The Millennial Reign.” Once I began to look into the subject of the Sabbath I realized that Yeshua, His disciples, and all those following Our Savior, before and after His death and resurrection, were celebrating The 7th Day Sabbath. Surprisingly, forty-two times or more it is mentioned in The New Testament alone. Once I realized this, and then began to keep Our Father’s Sabbath, my life changed forever. My faith grew, my heart and mind became more calm, my understanding of Scripture became more clear, and my relationship with Our Father and Savior became closer than I had ever imagined possible. Why did this happen? I believe it is because Our Father picked this day to spend with us, and it is the very first covenant in The Bible. Please understand, the reason I give this testimony today is not to have anyone leave their church, not to have anyone point at others to tell them they are “doing it wrong,” but rather so that each and everyone of you reading this may share in the joy and fullness in which myself, and so many others, share each and every 7th day. Make no mistake, I miss many things now because the world holds most events on Saturday, but the relationship I now have with God Almighty, Our Father, is worth anything I could miss for the rest of my life. It is truly difficult to explain the immense blessing of keeping Our Father’s Sabbath and in the manner He asks of us. I think one of my associates stated it best when he said, “no one can explain the blessing of The Sabbath... you have to experience it to understand it.” It is true. I want everyone to experience That Blessing, and so I share this with you today. I encourage you if you are “searching for more” in your relationship with Our Father, if you are looking for a way for your family to experience a blessing together and grow closer to Our Father and Savior, or if you are just jaded with the same-old same-old, please, I implore you to search this out for yourself. You will not find the words “old sabbath” in The Word of God. Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, truly is our Sabbath and I believe He will point you in the exact same direction. Remember, He Never Changes (Hebrews 13:8, Malachi 3:6). I will leave a link below to just one of many resources that will, with Scripture, point you to The Truth about Our Father’s Sabbath Day. In Scripture Our Father says His Sabbath is for “all generations, forever” and He points to it very clearly. One thing struck me as I was studying this 4th command (Instruction), when I first discovered His Sabbath, the very first word in this command is “Remember.” “Why did He start this command out with “Remember,”” I wondered. Our Father could have just said “Keep The Sabbath” and been done with it. Well, now I believe I know the answer to that question. He told us to “Remember The Sabbath” because... He knew we would forget. Many will say “well, we now keep Sabbath on Sunday because that is when He rose from the grave,” but who are we to change what God has done? Something to notice about that statement is this: Yeshua was resting on Saturday, The Seventh Day. He was following His Father’s Instruction because He Is, Was, and Always Will Be... Perfect & Sinless. Jesus never breaks commandments. What did He do on Sunday? He Rose... and started working. I pray each and every one of you searches this out. Share in Our Father’s Sabbath Blessing that so many are discovering and sharing around the world. I now know many Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, and many other denomination leaders who are keeping Our Father’s Sabbath and then attending their congregation on Sunday, and their relationship is growing immensely with Our Father In Heaven. Here is just one of many many resources that can help you search out The Scriptures about this subject: https://www.sabbathtruth.com/ If you would like any more resources, or would like to know more about how to “Keep The Sabbath,” please never hesitate to send me a message. May Our Father and Savior bless each an every one of you on the other side of this screen, and I pray you have a most blessed week. Shalom (Divine Peace/Completeness) to you my Brothers and Sisters! “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 A 10 Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #5 - Honoring Our Fathers and Mothers12/28/2021 Good Morning Tuesday...
We come to You today, choosing to walk in YOUR PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! - A Ten Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #5 - Honoring Our Fathers and Mothers “Honor your father and your mother, so that your days can be long on the land that Yahweh your God is giving you.” Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you, so that it will be good for you in the land that Yahweh your God is giving to you.” Deuteronomy 5:16 “Each of you must revere your mother and your father, and you must keep My Sabbaths; I Am Yahweh Your God.” Leviticus 19:3 “He said to him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “Do not commit murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and your mother, and Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 19:18-19 Instruction: The way we treat, speak about, and talk to our parents can often be a revealing measure of our attitude towards Our Father in Heaven. Some may use the argument: "well, God is Perfect and my parents are not." Because Yahweh has commanded us to honor our father and mother, regardless of their worthiness, this indeed becomes a measure of how we are responding to God's Command, and in turn our honor of Him, Our Heavenly Father. Let us take a moment to contemplate how we could honor our parents this week. May we let this command teach us to honor God because He is Our Father (Mal 1:6). The Giving of Thanks: For parents, the fact that God doesn't make the honor we are to receive based on performance... we should be thankful! For children who have parents that seem difficult to Love and honor, you can be thankful for the promises attached to this commandment. It is to help motivate and give us strength (Eph 6:2). Those of us who are fortunate enough to have parents whom are easy to Love and honor, let us be thankful to God, Our Father In Heaven, for this gift, godly parents, and wonderful examples. Confession: Let us confess to Our Father in Heaven any ill feelings, anger, resent, and the such, that may be hiding in our hearts toward our parents. Tell God any ways that we may have failed to honor our parents. Ask God to cleanse your mind and heart from these negative things and give us a heart and mind that will be able to honor them, because when we do... we Honor Our Father In Heaven, The Creator of All Things, and show our deep appreciation for His Mercy towards us. Prayer: Dear Father, we come to you today with humble and contrite hearts and ask that you give us the ability, and desire, to honor our parents, because we know in turn, it honors You. We thank you for the parents you have given us, for we know you give us our parents to teach us specific lessons about Life. We know we are not perfect and you have forgiven us for so much. We ask you now to help us remember this and offer the mercy you have given us to our parents when they may fall short. We thank you Father for the gift of our parents, for giving them to us, and for giving us to them. Help us to honor them as you see fit, not as we do, and help us to realize how you want us to honor them. Father, please help us to be the kind of follower that Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is leading us to be. Help us to live up to that calling and honor our parents as you see it due. And Father, we ask this not only because You Are Righteous, Just, and we know Your Commands Are Life, but also so that our children will find it easy to honor us as their parents. We Love You, We Thank You, We Praise You, and we ask all these things in The Mighty Name of Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen. A 10 Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #6 - The Respect and Gift of LIFE12/27/2021 Good Morning Monday...
AMEN! - A Ten Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #6 - The Respect and Gift of LIFE Instruction: Most of us have probably never broken the sixth commandment, do not murder, but maybe we also need to take another look. This command also applies at the spiritual level. Yeshua, Jesus Christ, reveals to us that whoever is angry with his brother will also face judgement (Matt 5:21-22). Our Savior here is addressing any underlying resent, hate, ect. for our neighbor... and herein lies the beginning of all acts of murder or harm to our Brothers and Sisters. Here we are learning that even if we have not physically murdered someone, we have all felt resent and anger of another human being and this is where all murder is born. Since we all fall short of the Glory of God Our Father, we all might not be as distanced from murder as we think. It is also worth pondering that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21)." If we are carelessly gossiping and hating our brothers or sisters... we may be committing spiritual murder. May we all guard our gates (mouths), so we are not caught in offense. The Giving of Thanks: Our Father cares about all of us and tells us not to harm others. The opposite it also true. This command is also to our neighbors not to harm us, because Our Father loves us and cares for us. With this command Our Father God "is seeking to protect and safeguard your life from the harm others might bring to it (Luther)." We can all be very thankful for this! Confession: We have all been angry towards someone, and many of us have felt hatred in us towards them. Let us confess this to Our Creator. Have you ever spoken a hope for someones death? Confess this to Our Father. Have you ever gossiped behind someones back, spoke negatively about another because you didn't like them, or insulted another? Confess this to Our Father. Has anyone ever wanted or come to harm you? Confess this to Our Father. If we confess this, The Word tells us that Our Father is "gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love (Psalm 145:8)." If we confess these things and repent, not only is God gracious to forgive us, but He will also work in us through Yeshua to help makes us more like Him... a Life-Giver and not a life taker. Prayer: Dear Father, you have so blessed us with Your gift of Life. Help us to be mindful of our thoughts, words, emotions, and actions in the Life you have graciously given to us all. Help us to see that hatred is the same as murder to you and no murderer will receive eternal life (1 John 3:15). We still see hatred in our hearts for some of our brothers, sisters, and fellow man when we have thoughts of wanting them gone, hope for something bad to happen to them, or simply want them to fail. We humbly ask You Father, to root out any hatred from our hearts and exchange it with Your Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Compassion. We know this is the same Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, and Compassion that you have shown and granted us through Your Mighty Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ. It is in His Name, Our Mighty King, we pray. Amen. God Bless Everyone and have a Great Yeshua-Filled Week! Good Morning Sunday...
AMEN! - A Ten Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #7 - Be Faithful “You shall not commit adultery.” Exodus 20:14 “You shall not commit adultery.” Deuteronomy 5:18 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Matthew 5:27-28 Instruction: Faithfulness to someone you Love is of the utmost importance. Why? Because we should be a representative of God Our Father’s Faithfulness to us. Adultery is a severe sin. It not only injures the relationship of marriage, but also inflicts severe emotional damage. Maybe worst of all... It is a breach of Covenant, the contract we have with Our Father. As we know, Our Father will not break His Covenant Promises, it is impossible (Heb 6:18). One could make the case that we are never more unlike God than when we break or are breaking covenant. It would be easy to think: "we are "okay", we haven't cheated on our spouse." Maybe this is the case... But maybe we are wrong. Yeshua, Jesus, says that lust is adultery in the heart (Matt 5:27-28). Not unlike murder, adultery starts in the heart as a seed. If a seed is not planted, it cannot grow. Remember, the world is fighting against us believers everyday and tries to plant rotten seeds very often through tv, radio, people, magazines, etc. We must always be on guard to stay faithful. This should help to remind us that when we commit adultery, we are committing adultery on God. This is sobering. That's why Our Father uses the adultery metaphor to show His people's unfaithfulness to Him (Jeremiah 3:8;13;27). The Giving of Thanks: The opposite of unfaithfulness is, you guessed it, faithfulness. Our Master and King wants us to reflect The Faithfulness He Has Always Provided. Our Father, He Is Faithful, and for this we can be extremely thankful. Let us now thank Our Father for His Son, and His Healing Power that is able to restore and rejuvenate relationships that have been crushed through unfaithfulness. Since Our God Is Able to reconcile us children to Himself by forgiving and restoring us from our spiritual adultery, then there is no doubt He can also Heal Relationships that have been hurt by infidelity. Confession: Let us confess any acts of adultery, physical or spiritual that we have committed. Let us confess the small innuendos, jokes, or flirtations with someone who is not our spouse. Let us confess any of our actions that we may have carried out with possible adulterous intent. Remember, even small seemingly harmless interactions with others can be dangerous. If our interactions spring forth from anything other than platonic interests in a person other than our spouse... we may be committing the first step towards adultery. Let us also confess lustful thoughts, fantasies, or focusing our thoughts where we know we shouldn't. Finally, let us confess before Our Kind and Merciful Father our unfaithfulness to Him. Prayer: Dear Faithful Father, we thank You for Always Being True. Help us to imitate You. Help us to always be faithful to You and our spouses. We ask Your Help and guidance so that we may be completely faithful in our thoughts, actions, words, deeds, emotions, and desires. Finally Father, we ask you to help us repent, turn from our unfaithfulness to You, and faithfully Love You with that Awesome, Constant, Faithful Love, with which You Always Love Us. We Love You, We Praise You, and we thank You so dearly for everything You Do. Bless You and Your Holy Name Forever. We ask these things in Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. Good Morning Sabbath...
Father, Your COMMANDMENTS (Instructions) are a Lamp to our feet. Amen! - A 10 Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #8 - Don’t Take, GIVE “You shall not steal.” Exodus 20:15 . “You shall not steal.” Deuteronomy 5:19 “You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.” Leviticus 19:11 Instruction: Today we live in a society where it is easier to steal than ever before. With the invention of the internet, it is not just grocery stores, department stores, and homes that are stolen from anymore. When we stop to think about it, we actually live in a society where we have to be diligent in order not to accidentally steal. Did you buy one of those dvds on the subway? You may have just stolen. Worse than anything we can think about stealing...we actually try to steal glory from God Himself. Today, will we give honor to an imaginary fat guy in a red suit, who we are told is watching us, or to Our Father and Jesus Christ Who Really Is THE ONE Watching Us? Will we actually pull out our Bibles, talk about Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and His Presence? Or will we be consumed with our presents. We have a choice: our presents or His Presence. We may not be audited and caught on a fraudulent tax return, we may not be held to account by our children today for talking about imaginary men who sneak in chimneys, and cameras may not pick up what happens in the store, but Our Father sees everything we steal from Him... and others. The Giving of Thanks: Since Our Father has promised to be our supply, we don't need to steal. He has given us The Greatest Gift In All Eternity... Our King and Savior Jesus Christ. When we do steal, whether from a person, or Him, it is if we are saying: "God, you haven't given us enough, we want more" or "I don't trust You to supply." Instead of stealing, let us thank The God of All Glory for what He has given us and show our trust in Him to continue to provide for our needs. We can also thank Him that through this commandment He protects the things that belong to us from being taken by other people (Luther). Confession: Let us confess any ways we may have engaged in stealing. Let us ask God Our Father, if we have stolen, how we may make restitution for for those items. Then, let us ask how we may give instead of steal (Ephesians 4:28 See Picture Verses). Now, most importantly, let us ask Our Father to reveal anything we may have been robbing of Him that He is due. Confess anything that He brings to mind. Have faith and trust in His Kindness, Mercy, and Grace to cover these things in Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Prayer: Dear Father, You Are The Great Giver of All Things. Not only have You given us Life and Salvation, but also possessions to help others with and enjoy. We ask today Father, for hearts that give rather than take, that share rather than steal, that Honor You and not things. We ask for minds that think of You and others first. We want to truly honor You Father, rather than trying to take honor for ourselves or give it to vain imaginations. We ask for these things in the Name of The Ultimate Giver Whom You Gave For Us, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen.
AMEN! - A Ten Commandment Countdown To 2022 - Command/Instruction #9 - Speaking Truth Instruction: With this commandment we see most applying it as an umbrella term for not lying. The implication and application of this command can certainly mean that, but it specifically points to lying about someone else, our neighbor. Not telling The Truth is not a good thing no matter how you cut it, it is a sin, and we are commanded in The Word of God to repent from this type of behavior (Ex. Colossians 3:9 - See picture verses). While lying is a sin, I have to believe, because of Our Father's wording of the command, that it is even a greater evil to speak something that is not truthful about another person or "our neighbor." As defined today this would be defamation of character. We are to speak Truth, not speak things about people that are not true. We should not think we are excused either if we are quick to repeat something we heard from a gossiping mouth and repeat it without a close look at the facts or Truth of the situation. Rumors, more often than not, are indeed false witness against our neighbor. The Giving of Thanks: Just like in all the rest of The Ten Commandments, The Maker of All Things, God Our Father, gave this Commandment to protect each of our good names. Our Father cares about our reputation. Think about it...you represent Him. Why would He want you slandered or defamed? He doesn't! Let us take a moment to thank Him for His Glorious Vision, Care, and Mindfulness in giving us this Commandment. Confession: Let's take a moment and confess to Our Father the times we may have purposefully and intentionally spoken things that are not true against another. Now let's dig a little deeper and confess the times we may have been quick to repeat a rumor or half truth about another person, whether we knew it to be true or not. Let us confess the times that we may have twisted The Truth to fit our needs or to make someone look a little, or a lot, worse, and make ourselves look a little, or a lot, better. Next, let's ask Our Kind Father to search out the intentions of our hearts when we speak freely about others, as to whether we know what we are speaking is true or not. Should we really be speaking negatively about anyone? I am sure most of us have heard the old saying from our parents: "If you don't have something nice to say..." we all know the rest. Finally, on the deepest level, let us think of any ways we may have spoken untruthfully about Our Father In Heaven, with our own words, or our actions in life. For Prayer: Dear Father, God Almighty Above, You are The Greatest Truth Speaker Of All Time. You Always Speak Truth and "tell it like it is." You are incapable of lying and You would never tarnish someone's reputation. Help us to seek Your Truth, to speak Your Truth, and to Live Your Truth. Help us to speak Truth about others, and most importantly, to speak Truth about You... not only in our words, but in The Way we live our lives. Father, we come to you with humble and loving hearts because of all of Your Great Commands and Mercies, and ask these things in Your Beautiful Son's Name, The One Who Always Spoke Your Truth, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen. Good Morning Thursday...
Amen! A New Yearly Tradition: It’s that time again. What time? Time to remember. Our Father’s Word tells us to not only “Remember” what He instructs for us, but also how His Instructions (Commandments) are to “Be A Light” and a constant source of protection for us, IF we but listen and “hear.” With 2020 AND 2021 holding no few surprises, and so many problems, loss, high emotions, broken plans, and just flat out frustrations, I thought to myself last year: “How can we end each year and begin the next one (civil calendar) in the best manner possible?” Then it hit me. “How Obvious?!,” I thought. What better way to finish one year and begin the next than for us to “Remember” Our Light, Blessing, Instruction, and The One Thing That Sets Us Apart From Every Other Group In The World... Our Father’s Perfect Instruction, and Our Savior’s Perfect Walk... THE WORD OF GOD ALMIGHTY. 2022 Is Going To Be A BIG Year For The Children of The Most High!: Going through these current exciting, stressful, prophetic seasons, it can be easy to lose sight of Who We Are Suppose To Be Listening To, And How We Are Suppose To Be Acting. With advertisements accosting us in every direction and every business in the world vying for our attention, it can be easier than we like to get caught in the hustle and bustle of this world. But, if we “remember” what Our Father and Savior Instructs for us, repent of the places and things we have we have sinned against Him in, and refocus our attention on where it should always be, 2022 can be the biggest blessing yet. Repenting of where we have gone “off the path,” listening to Our Father and Savior, and “fulfilling” that which He Instructs Us To Do, well, there really is no better way of setting ourselves up for success as we head into 2022. So, without further ado, may we all, as we close out this year, season, and journey of 2021, look to Our Father In Heaven and Our Mighty Savior and... Remember His Instructions. After all, as Yeshua, Jesus Christ Himself tells us, His Commandments are what all The Torah (Instructions/Law) and the prophets hang on. So, let’s “hang out” with Him, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The Holy One of Israel and The Mighty King of Glory. God Bless My Brothers and Sister! I Love You All So Very Much, and... Our Father and Savior Love You MORE! Travel Safe and may The Peace and Grace of The One True and Living God Be With You All! 🔥 “My son, keep your Father's [God-given] commandment and forsake not The Law of [God] your mother [taught you]. [Eph. 6:1-3.] Bind them continually upon your heart and tie them about your neck. [Prov. 3:3; 7:3.] When you go, they [the words of your parents' God] shall lead you; when you sleep, they shall keep you; and when you waken, they shall talk with you. For the commandment is a lamp, and the whole teaching [of the law] is light, and reproofs of discipline are the way of life, [Ps. 19:8; 119:105.]” Proverbs 6:20-23 AMPC “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you listen to The Commandments (Instructions) of Yahweh Your God, which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not listen to The Commandments (Instructions) of Yahweh Your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you today, to go after other gods, which you have not known.” Deuteronomy 11:26-28 WEB - Counting Down The Ten Commandments To 2022 - Being Content With The Hand We Are Dealt - Command (Instruction) #10 Instruction: “‘And you shall not covet the wife of your neighbor, and you shall not crave the house of your neighbor, his field or his slave or his slave woman or his ox and his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.’” Deuteronomy 5:21 LEB In many ways we can see coveting is a "root sin" or a sin that can be a doorway to other sins. If we ask the question: Why would anyone commit adultery? No doubt the answer would be that it is because that person has coveted their neighbor's wife. And if we ask the question: Why would anyone steal? The answer would be because that person has coveted their neighbor's "things" or possessions. Such "things" could be cars, houses, electronic gadgets, animals, and a myriad of other possessions. The draw or desire to "beautiful" or "attractive things" is an ever present temptation in our fallen world full of opportunistic advertising that seeks to profit on these desires of our hearts for monetary gain. One only needs to look at the advertiser satan in The Garden with Eve, or Abraham's neighbor and nephew Lot with Sodom in The Bible, and we find examples of our ancestors dealing with this same issue. Our ancestors failed in these instances, but Our Kind Father has given these examples to us in His Word, to help us to overcome these same desires, and to recognize these sins when they well up inside us. When we take notice of something our neighbor has or a cool new product advertised that we don't have, we should ask ourselves: Do we have to have it? The Giving of Thanks: The fact is, we wouldn't have the need or desire to covet these "things" if we learn how to put our trust and belief in Our Father and Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Our God has provided for us everything we need and He gives us an invitation to ask Him for the things we need, and to Trust Him to provide them, instead of coveting from the world or our neighbor. Let us give God Our Father our thanks that He has given us Our Daily Bread in His Ever Merciful, Kind, Loving, and Bountiful Provision. Confession: For this, our confessions purposes, it is prudent to ask ourselves: How strong is our desire for "things?" Let us confess to Our Father any absence of trust in Him from which these desires might grow. Let us ask ourselves: Am I trusting that God will give me what I need? Am I filled with a desire for something my neighbor has? In The Word of God we see coveting being connected to idolatry (Ephesians 5:5). We can see where this is bringing us all the way back to the beginning of The Ten Commandments. Let us now confess any idolatry, desires for things we don't need, or covetousness that may be infecting our walk with God and our lives. Let us take a final moment to confess any ways we may have "raised up" any material things above The One who was Raised Up For Us. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You are All-Efficient, All-Sufficient, and All-Powerful. We ask that you help us to bring our hearts to repentance and have our hearts covet after nothing except a closer walk with Thee. You Alone are to be The Ruler of Our Hearts and Desires. Help us to know and act in accordance with the fact that You Alone are to be our desire, and that nothing in heaven or on earth can compare. Please make this true in our lives Abba (Father). You are our King. We Love You, We Thank You, We Praise You, and in Our Savior's Mighty Name, whom You Sent for us, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, we fervently pray. Amen. Good Morning Wednesday...
Dear Father, thank You for this NEW day. Guide us as we make this day's JOURNEY. Lift us as we fall. Show us Your LOVE, and HELP us to show Your Love to others. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we PRAY. Amen. A big thank you to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. - The Holy Spirit of God Our Father and Yeshua... Ties It All Together (2) elect according to the foreknowledge of God The Father, in sanctification of The Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of The Blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied. 1Peter 1:2 Peter's words are intended, not merely to instruct, but also to encourage. We listen to God's Word because God Almighty Himself personally chose us to do so. That needs to sink into our brains and become part of how we operate our lives. We are The Chosen of God, Elect according to His Foreknowledge. That is, before we ever knew of The True God, He was watching us. He was monitoring us and waiting for the opportunity that, at just the right time, He would reveal Himself to us in just the right circumstance, just the right environment to give us the best opportunity to respond to The Truth. We can expand this process out to include the whole church. The church exists because God willed it so. The church does not exist because of human goodness, hopes, aspirations, vision, or dreams. It exists because of the eternal purpose of God, which is both a tremendous honor and responsibility. God, working through His Spirit (notice, "in sanctification of The Spirit"), sets us apart, consecrates us, or makes us fit for His Calling. God Is The Creator. That fact is what Peter explains here. His Calling is the first step to prepare us to inherit His Kingdom. We should not limit the calling just to the initial time that He entered our lives, and we began to understand. His calling ultimately includes the whole process. Peter states the goal He has in mind as "obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ." It is The Spirit of God that makes The Calling of God effective. It is a singular act, but at some time in our lives, He "messed with" our brain—He Turned The Light On—and we began to respond. He did this as a singular act at a specific time, but His Calling is also a process that begins with that initial act and ends with resurrection into His Family. The sanctification of The Spirit of God ties all of it together. The initial act by God opens our mind, which is the beginning of sanctification. It is like being given a second start, which Paul calls "regeneration" (Titus 3:5). Then comes the sanctification that arises with growth, overcoming, and becoming more like God. Finally, there is glorification, which is the ultimate in sanctification. The whole process is encompassed by The Calling of God, and The Spirit of God ties all of these steps together. |
