Good Morning Friday...
Father thank You for this NEW day and this new week. You have blessed us with another WONDERFUL day to see Your WISDOM and TRUTH. May we use this day, and every day this week, to show this dark world Your FRUIT, Your LIGHT, and YOUR GLORY TODAY. ABBA, during this time of “The 10 Days of Awe” before Your Most Holy Day, The Day of Atonement, and everyday, we ask you to HELP US to SEE our SINs, REPENT from them, CONFESS them, AND BE CLEANSED by Your Mighty Right Hand. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’S GLORIOUS AND MIGHTY NAME we ask these things Father. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name. AMEN! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 34)(Day 5 of The 10 Days of Awe): Elements Of A True Faith - The Abrahamic Covenant Day 5 of The 10 Days of Awe, so we are half way to The Day of Atonement, The Biblical High Holiest Day of The Year. Today, let’s do a “self inventory” and take a look at some elements of a true faith. It is important to remember, we are not saved by good works, but we are saved FOR good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). This all begins with… Faith. Let start with Our Father's Word and then discuss. “Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives Life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:16-22 Now, let’s break down these verses one-by-one: 4:16 - Our Father In Heaven has made us all, by instruction and belief, sons of Abraham. It is only His children, who have the faith of Abraham, who are the spiritual seed of Abraham, and it matters not what tribe, nation, former religion, or language you have come out of. Faith in Our Father Yahweh and His Son Yeshua (Jesus) are what make us righteous in His Eyes. Faith is believing Our Father and taking His Word (Yeshua, Jesus) as Perfect Truth. Five Elements of a True Faith (Romans 4:17-22): 1.) A True Faith Must Have Valid Substance. When Paul quotes Genesis 17:5, he is explaining that Abraham’s faith had valid substance because it contained the revelation of Our Father Who Is In Heaven AKA God Almighty (Verse 17a). 2.) A True Faith Must Have A Valid Focus. The focus of Abraham’s faith was El Olam or The Everlasting God, Our Father, who was The Giver of the revelation (Verse 17b). Keeping a valid focus is what Commandment #1 is all about. 3.) A True Faith is different than hope, and even seemingly contradictory, yet a true faith rests upon hope. There is absolutely no uncertainty in Abraham’s, or our, hope (Verse 18a) because it is in The One In Whom There Is No Uncertainty And The One Who Never Lies. (Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2) 4.) A True Faith has purpose. The purpose, becoming the father of many nations, was the purpose of Abraham’s faith. He realized the promise that was given to him in what we call “The Abrahamic Covenant (compare the verses in Genesis 12:1-3 and verse 18b).” 5.) A True Faith produces works. Abraham was a follower of “The Way,” and his was A True Faith that guided the way he lived. He followed the instructions given by Our Father. A True Faith believes that following Our Fathers Instructions, aka commandments (Biblically defined “works” (see James 2:26)), is part of living a submissive life obeying God. A true faith is seen in believing our life will be more full when we listen to Our Father, having faith that what He tells us is best for us. One of Abraham’s greatest “works” was leaving everything he knew at the command of God Our Father. Prayer: Father, please grant us and strengthen us with the substance, focus, hope, purpose, and works (ex: John 13:35) that show The Light of The Whole World, Our Savior Yeshua, and let us rejoice in it. Abraham saw Your Son Yeshua’s Day and rejoiced in it, thank You Father that so can we. Praise be You, Our Father and Savior, for Eternal Life and producing righteousness through our true faith in You. Father, grow us, guide us, and sanctify us in The Way only You can. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name, Amen. The Referenced Word of El Olam (The Everlasting God), The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob: “Now The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abram departed as The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.” Genesis 12:1-4 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26 “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35 Extra Scripture For Elul: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10 “I am my Beloved’s, And my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 God Bless Everyone and have a wonderful True-Faith-Filled Friday!

Good Morning Thursday...
Thank You Father for the blessing of this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay FOCUSED on The TRUTH of “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28) TODAY! AMEN! It never fails… When we get close to and are going through Our Father’s Holy Feasts, I start getting phone calls about members of our family in Christ going through spiritual warfare in some manner. As we go through the next week of reflection during these “10 Days of Awe” there is no doubt many of us will be tested. Spiritual activity is at a high around The Feasts and I have found that the enemy is always lurking, just waiting to catch a foothold. We must be aware of this and “sober minded” (1 Peter 5:8). At all times the enemy will use his native tongue, lies, to misdirect, confuse, and try his best to plant seeds of doubt. It is doubt and disbelief that gets us in trouble… it has been the problem since the beginning, since the fall in the garden. There is no doubt that when we get close to Our Father’s Holy Festivals, the enemy is at work overtime... “for he knows he has but a short time” (Revelation 12:12). So, as we move through this Biblical testing season, a season of repentance and drawing closer to God Our Father, let us take a look at how to “test the spirits” (1John 4:1) and truly know if what is being communicated to us is from God Our Father, man, or the enemy. May Our Father Bless you all during this time, may you be strengthened by any of your testing, and may The Grace and Peace of Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, be with you as you move closer into The Arms of our Life-Giving King. - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 33)(Day 4 of The 10 Days of Awe): How To Test If Something Is From Our Father Ever wonder if something you are experiencing or have received is from God? Do you wonder if you are following Our Father's Will? Wouldn't it be great if God would just write His Will for each day on a list for us? Indeed, it would be, and to a certain extent… He has! This is what we will look at today. Many questions can be presented in our lives each day, week, and year. How much should we work? How many kids should we have? Where should we live, work, and go to church? When should we retire, buy a house, or move to a new city? The questions go on and on. The final question is... What should we do?! Many times it can be easy to tell when Our Father wants us to do something and other times it can seem impossible. Stress is easily built up and many times these life decisions can cause more stress than all the rest. So the question is this... How can we know if something is from God? Today let's take a look at some very practical things we can do to "test the spirits" and see if they are from Our Father or... the other guy. Here are 5 things we can all do to test a situation and ask for God's guidance in seeking His Will. 5 Ways To Know If Something Is From Our Father: 1.) Pray First: If we start by asking, with a humble and honest heart, for Our Father to show us His Individual Plan For Us in whatever we may be dealing with, we have asked rightly. “Please, let our petition be acceptable to you, and pray for us to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God, for all this remnant (since we are left but a few of many, as you can see), that The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God may show us The Way in which we should walk and the thing we should do.” Jeremiah 42:2-3 NKJV Our Messiah Did This Often: “So He Himself (Yeshua, Jesus) often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” Luke 5:16 NKJV 2.) Make Sure It Glorifies God: We next must ask if the situation is Glorifying God. Our Father Will Never Lead You To Something That Does Not Bring Him Glory. Think to yourself: Does this bless the relationship I am dealing with? Wife? Children? Can I serve others? Will it affect my attitude? Will I be able to see spiritual "fruit?" “Let your Light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify Your Father In Heaven.” Matthew 5:16 NKJV “Not unto us, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), not unto us, But to Your Name give glory, Because of Your Mercy, Because of Your Truth. Why should the Gentiles say, “So where is their God?” But our God Is In Heaven; He does whatever He Pleases.” Psalms 115:1-3 NKJV 3.) Make Sure It Agrees With God's Word: Our Father Never Changes. The Bible aka God's Word Is ALWAYS Counsel We Can Trust. Our Father gave us His Word to reveal His Will to us. “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known The Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3:13-17 NKJV 4.) Be Humble and Patient: Being willing to wait is a hallmark of a believer and humility will always bring us closer to “hearing from God.” God's Will for us is worth the wait, but we must be willing to Trust His Timing, not ours. King Saul didn't wait around and look what happened to him... no bueno. If Our Father's Will is involved, you can guarantee He Will Bring It To Fruition. If we merely stay patient and humble, He Will Guide Us. “Yahweh Is Good to those who wait on Him, to the person that seeks Him. It is good to wait in silence for The Salvation of Yahweh.” Lamentations 3:25-26 LEB “The end of something is better than its beginning, so the patient are better than the proud.” Ecclesiastes 7:8 CJB “Wait on The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh); Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)!” Psalms 27:14 NKJV “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His Way.” Psalms 25:9 NIV 5.) Have Faith In God Our Father and His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ: God Never Breaks A Promise. Our Father Will Accomplish His Will For Us. Certainly we have all become impatient at times. We want clear answers and we want them immediately, but Our Abba (Father) does not work this way. Our Father Will Accomplish What He Says. Remember, "His Kingdom Come, His Will Be Done." “If we are faithless, He Remains Faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” II Timothy 2:13 NKJV “For The Word of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Is Right, And all His Work Is Done In Truth.” Psalms 33:4 NKJV “For this reason I bow my knees to The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His Glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in Love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know The Love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all The Fullness of God. Now to Him Who Is Able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to The Power that works in us, To Him Be Glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV Most of the time, in this life, things may not be very clear. Certainly, there will be times when you do every one of these steps and still have questions about where Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, wants you to go or what His Direction is for you. There is nothing wrong with that. Our Father Is Always Teaching Us Something, and you can be sure that if He Wants Something, if it is His Will, He Will Guide You To It. Now, if you have taken the time and gone through these 5 steps, but still don't have a clear answer, just go back to steps 4 and 5. Whatever the problem is, just wait patiently for God. In the meantime there is always something we can do that fulfills all these steps. Go help someone in need, visit a godly Brother or Sister and ask for advice (remember in proverbs 11:14, 12:15, 15:22, and many more, it says the wise take counsel), or just have faith that your answer is coming, besides if faith made Abraham righteous, can't it you also? Of course! The good news is, if you are praying, glorifying Our Father and Yeshua, making sure it doesn't contradict His Word, patiently waiting, being humble, and putting your faith in God Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ His Son... you can never go wrong. Extra Scripture For Elul: “I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”” Isaiah 44:22 “I am my Beloved’s, And my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 God Bless Everyone and have a wonderful God-Our-Father-And-Savior-Filled Thursday! The 40 Days of Elul (Day 32)(Day 3 of The 10 Days of Awe): Yeshua - The Light of The Whole World9/28/2022 Good Morning Wednesday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that You cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. AMEN! Good morning Brothers and Sisters, let’s keep Florida and all affected areas getting hit by Hurricane Ian in our prayers. A special request for Sister Traci’s sister, nieces, and nephew along with Patricia, her daughter CC, and also Michael and family. If anyone has prayer request for family or friends, please feel free to leave them in the comments below and we will keep them covered. Thank you and May God Our Father and Savior Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen. Wisdom: No one ever said at the end of their days, “I have read my Bible too much, I have thought of God too much, I have prayed too much, I have been too careful with my soul.” ~JCRyle Witness: “Blessed are they who keep His Statutes, who seek Him with all their hearts. Yes, they do no wrong. They walk in His Ways.” Psalm 119:2-3 - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 32)(Day 3 of The 10 Days of Awe): Yeshua - The Light of The Whole World Can you remember a time when you were young and afraid of the dark? Whether it was the "monster under the bed," the silence, or just the dark, turning off all the lights became a battle of the mind. Maybe getting up for the bathroom, water, or any other task became an option to no longer take. Suddenly, in the dark, every thing became scary. Noises, creaks, or any other movement had the ability to frighten us. We were easier to scare, walking around was much more dangerous, and within seconds of the lights going off we felt like we were in a horror movie. When the lights are out and we are in the dark, we can't see our surroundings and we stumble. Turn the lights back on and everything is clear... easy to see. Darkness has an uncanny way of bringing fear, but light brings comfort, clarity, and sight. Light is the beginning. Light brings the new day. Light comforts us and helps us to begin anew each day. It is important to understand who Our Light is and the meaning it holds for us. The Light is Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. It is Him who saves us from any "monster" we may encounter. He brings in each new day and guides us through the darkness, illuminating our lives. He can even make us Lights to others by making us shine and experience the glory of His Presence. Our Light, Yeshua, has been a Light to so many it is impossible count and He Continues each and everyday. He has enlightened many to the snares of religion, He Transformed 12 ordinary men into amazing warriors, valued everyone around Him, cured, healed, and even raised the dead. Jesus Christ Our Savior has changed the lives of more people than the stars in the sky and praise to God Almighty, this includes our lives also. May we all take a moment today to think about this: Yeshua is our Light, hope, breath, and our way back to our True Father In Heaven and our True Home. When you think all is hopeless, wrong, dark, and falling apart, take time to remember who The True Light in your life is. Jesus is The Light Of The Whole World and with Him as our Light we never have to be "in the dark." With the Light, nothing is terrifying, and all is visible. He makes it possible to see where we are going and there is no "monster" that need scare us... ever again. The Word of God, The Light of The Whole World, Yeshua, Jesus Christ: “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the Light of life.” John 8:12 “And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the Truth comes to the Light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21 “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the Truth. But if we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” I John 1:5-7 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that Life was the Light of all mankind. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5 “The True Light that gives Light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.” John 1:9-10 “But everything exposed by the Light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a Light.” Ephesians 5:13 “Believe in the Light while you have the Light, so that you may become children of Light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid Himself from them.” John 12:36 “Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to Light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.” Zephaniah 3:5 Extra Scripture for Elul: “if My People, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 The 40 Days of Elul (Day 31)(Day 2 of The 10 Days of Awe): What Are The Prophets Saying? Zephaniah9/27/2022 Good Morning Tuesday...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. AMEN! Being that we are in the 10 Days of Awe, and it is all about repentance, we would be remiss if we did not look to at least one of Our Father’s Prophets. These were the servants of Our Father that were given very specific messages of repentance to Israel, and also told of the beautiful future where we would live in peace with Our Father, King, and Savior right ruling the world. This morning, let’s take a look at Our Father’s Prophet Zephaniah. God Bless Brothers and Sisters! Remember, draw close to God Your Father... and He Will Draw Close To You (James 4:8)! “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8 - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 31)(Day 2 of The 10 Days of Awe): What Are The Prophets Saying? (Zephaniah) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible to find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word🔥. Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what? Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God (Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Zephaniah, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Zephaniah, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, Repentance, and Love for Your Children. And we thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name We Pray. Amen. The Word of God: The Book of Zephaniah, The Prophet of God: “I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all who live in Jerusalem. I will destroy every remnant of Baal worship in this place, the very names of the idolatrous priests— those who bow down on the roofs to worship the starry host, those who bow down and swear by The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) and who also swear by Molek (also Milkam), those who turn back from following the Lord and neither seek The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) nor inquire of him.” Zephaniah 1:4-6 NIV “Be silent before The Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh draws near, for Yahweh has provided a sacrifice and has consecrated His guests.” Zephaniah 1:7 LEB “Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame, before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of The Lord (Yahweh) comes on you, before the day of The Lord’s (Yahweh’s) anger comes on you. Seek The Lord (Yahweh), all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of The Lord’s (Yahweh’s) anger.” Zephaniah 2:1-3 WMB “For then I shall turn unto the peoples a clean lip, so that they all call on the Name of יהוה (Yahweh), to serve Him with one shoulder. “From beyond the rivers of Kush my worshippers, the daughter of My dispersed ones, shall bring My offering. “In that day you shall not be put to shame for any of your deeds in which you have transgressed against Me, for then I shall remove from your midst your proud exulting ones, and you shall no more be haughty in My set-apart mountain.” Tsephanyah (Zephaniah) 3:9-11 TS2009 “For I will leave in the midst of you a people afflicted and poor, and they shall trust, seek refuge, and be confident in The Name of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh). What is left of Israel shall not do iniquity or speak lies, neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they shall feed and lie down and none shall make them afraid.” Zephaniah 3:12-13 AMPC “Yahweh, within her, is Righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning He Brings His Justice to Light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.” Zephaniah 3:5 WEB “For The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) your God is living among you. He is a Mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” “I will gather you who mourn for the appointed festivals; you will be disgraced no more. And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed. On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh), have spoken” Zephaniah 3:17-20 NLT Extra Scripture for Elul: “if My People, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 The 40 Days of Elul (Day 30)(Day 1 of The 10 Days of Awe): We Are The Sheep, He Is The Shepherd9/26/2022 Good Morning Monday Feast of Trumpets Holy Sabbath!...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED HOLY FEAST DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN THE HOPE THAT IS Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen! Happy Feast of Trumpets Everybody! Today we blow our Shofars, lift our voices in praise, and honor The King! The next 10 days leading up to The Day of Atonement, The High Holiest Day of The Year, are called “The 10 Days of Awe.” These 10 days are all about Teshuvah (Repentance/Returning To God), preparing ourselves, cleansing ourselves, and making sure we are ready for our coming King. Today, as we blow our trumpets/shofars and lift our “shouts” (in Hebrew Yom Teruah “Day of Shouts”) let’s focus in on Our King, The Good Shepherd, and us His Sheep. Oh how The Good Shepherd Cares for us! On Feast of Trumpets, one day, He Will Return. Today we blow the shofar and lift our praises in rehearsal of His Coming. Today we remember, We Are The Sheep, and He Is The Good Shepherd. Happy Feast Day everyone! Love you all and may God Our Father and His Son, Our King and Eternal Good Shepherd, Bless you all! Shabbat Shalom! -The 40 Days of Elul (Day 30)(Day 1 of The 10 Days of Awe): We Are The Sheep, He Is The Shepherd If you do a study on sheep you find out one thing pretty quick, they are not very intelligent. They go astray, have no sense of direction, and become lost very easily. Many times they will wander into creeks and when they get wet, the heavy wool on their bodies becomes soaked with water, their wool becomes heavy, and they drown in the water. We aren't so different from the sheep. We need a Good Shepherd to look after us. Many times we can get soaked in the waters of life that we probably shouldn't have entered in the first place. Soaked, weighed down, and unable to get ourselves out, we are an easy target for the enemy who seeks to devour us. We have no defense... until The Good Shepherd arrives in our lives and lifts us out of the water... just like He did Peter when he stepped off the boat (Matthew 14:27-33). There is no shortage of Scripture giving us the metaphor that we are Our Savior's Sheep and He, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Is Our Good Shepherd. THE WAY the sheep stay out of trouble, don't wander into the waters of life that can be deadly, and live a protected, healthy life is to follow The Good Shepherd closely. We know His Voice, now we just need to follow Him. The closer we are to The Good Shepherd, the closer we are to Our Salvation... quite literally. As we go through this Holy Day/Sabbath today lifting our praises and blowing our shofars, may we all follow Our Good Shepherd, Our Perfect Example of A Protector and Provider. He Works Miracles, Saves Lives, Leads All Lost Sheep Back To The Fold, Gives His Life So We, His Sheep, Can Live Abundant Lives, and... He Is Coming Back! Praise Be To God Our Father For Providing A Perfect Shepherd...HIMSELF! Long Live The King!!! The Good Shepherd Who Lays Down His Life For Us: “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 The Good Shepherd Who Protects And Comforts Us: “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s Sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your Rod and Your Staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my Life; And I will dwell in The House of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 The Good Shepherd Who Finds Us: “‘For thus says The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) GOD: “Indeed I Myself will search for My Sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My Sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:11-12 The Good Sheherd Who Leads Us: “But He who enters by the door is The Shepherd of the sheep. To Him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear His Voice; and He calls His Own Sheep by name and leads them out. And when He brings out His Own Sheep, He goes before them; and the sheep follow Him, for they know His Voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:2-5 The Good Shepherd Who Unites Us Into One Flock: “I Am The Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd gives His Life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not The Shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I Am The Good Shepherd; and I know My Sheep, and am known by My Own. As The Father knows Me, even so I know The Father; and I lay down My Life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My Voice; and there will be One Flock and One Shepherd.” John 10:11-16 Extra Scripture for Elul: “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 The 40 Days of Elul (Day 29): Feast of Trumpets Eve: A Feast Fit For A King - The Feast of Trumpets9/25/2022 Good Morning Sunday Feast of Trumpets Eve!...
Father thank You for this NEW coming Holy Day this evening. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your LOVE & TRUTH, and TRANSFORM our ordinary day into an extraordinary day. SHINE YOUR LIGHT in us, THROUGH us, and over us. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s name, we pray and ask, May we make a difference in this world, for Your Glory and Purposes TODAY! Good morning Brothers and Sisters. This evening we begin the celebration of The Feast of Trumpets! Very exciting! The King Is In The Field! This means that starting this evening we will enter not just a day of rejoicing and shofar blowing, but we will also enter into “The 10 Days of Awe.” These are the 10 days in between The Feast of Trumpets and The Day of Atonement, The Biblical Holiest Day of the year. During this time we reflect on our year, and lives, drawing closer to Our Father in Heaven. Traditionally, many fill these 10 days with fasting, prayer, good deeds, and most importantly drawing close to God. When we do this, something amazing happens, and I think it is no better expressed than in a little saying a very dear Brother In Yeshua, Jesus Christ, gave to me. It goes like this: There is only one thing better than drawing close to God? What is that?! God drawing close to you. :-) May we all fill our thoughts with Our King, Our Creator, and our Life Sustaining, Merciful God as we look to the sky this evening in eager expectation of the day Our King Returns! May we blow our Shofars (Trumpets) loud for The King, AND as a “watchman warning” to this world to repent from the fallen ways and rebellious spirit that seems to be everywhere in these times. As we celebrate this evening and head towards the high holiest day of the year may we all be “on watch”… for The King May arrive this evening as the shofars sound. It is a rehearsal for announcing The King! With that said it is important to understand… one day rehearsals will be over… and the Live Event will take place. Look Up Everyone! For our Redemption Draws Close and The King Is Coming! Have an amazing Feast of Trumpets my Brothers and Sisters and May God Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen ... MIGHTILY! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 29) The Feast of Trumpets Eve: A Feast Fit For A King - The Feast of Trumpets The Feast of Trumpets is among the Festivals of God Our Father listed in Leviticus 23. It is important for us to understand that, according to Scripture, it is all about announcing The Coming of The King. It is the prophesied time when Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King, will return. The Hebrew word "Feast" is more accurately translated as "Rehearsal." That seems pretty significant! For one day… “The Rehearsal” will be over and This Holy Festival Will Be Fulfilled! Let's read Our Father Instruction for this Holy Day directly from His Word: “Then the Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh).” Leviticus 23:23-25 When Yeshua (Jesus) came into the world (in the flesh), He kept the Feast of Trumpets along with the other people of Hebrew descent. After the death and resurrection of Jesus, the first-century Church continued in keeping it along with the other six Festivals mentioned in Leviticus 23. The Feast of Trumpets teaches great lessons. If we try to understand its significant meaning, The Feast of Trumpets helps us understand the plan of Our Father for all mankind. Today let's take a look at some important things and try to gain some perspective about Our Father's timing and what He is trying to show us in His Feast, or Rehearsal, of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah (Day of Shouts). Since this evening will begin The Feast of Trumpets, let's take a look.: 1.) The Feast of Trumpets Is About God’s Time The Feast of Trumpets represents the time when God will directly intervene in human affairs. It represents the time when Christ will return here on earth, not just as a Kind, Patient, Loving, Miracle Working Servant, but a Conquering King. Our Sacrificial Lamb Will Return As A Lion. That's exciting for us believers! Let's take a look in Revelation: Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our LORD and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 🔥🙌 Revelation 11:15 2.) The Feast of Trumpets Is About The Hope of The Coming Kingdom of God We live in a fast paced, fallen, and depressing world compared to the amazing things Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus, have in store for us. The enemy and accuser is currently the ruler of this world (II Corinthians 4:4). When all hopes seem to fade Christ Jesus will make a spectacular entrance. Of all the prophecies made in The Bible, perhaps the coming of Jesus for the second time, is the most exciting. It will be the climax in the history of mankind. 3.) The Feast of Trumpets Serves As A Warning In the time of the ancient Israelites, the trumpet was used to sound a warning. Let's take a look at Numbers: “When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets.” Numbers 10:9 With The Feast of Trumpets, we are reminded that there will come a time when Our Savior, Yeshua Jesus Christ will return. It means that we must live our lives according to God’s will and purpose. Why? Because we know that we all will answer accordingly for our lives in The Presence of God Our Father and Yeshua Jesus Christ. We can’t simply live a life of no accountability. We have A Higher Power, God Our Father. As believers, this can give us a sense of urgency that is prudent for our lives. One day we will all stand before the Judgement Throne of God Almighty and give an account of our lives. The Feast of Trumpets serves as a call for us to stop living our way and begin living Our Father's Way, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King’s Way. 4.) The Feast of Trumpets Is About Rejoicing One reason trumpets were used in the ancient Israel was to serve as a festive sound. We read in God's Word: “Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets… and they shall be a memorial for you before your God.” Numbers 10:10 Also at the end of Chapter 8 in Nehemiah, they are celebrating Trumpets. Let's see what God Uses His Prophet To Tell Us: “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 While the events preceding the coming of Our King may be scary, The Feast of Trumpets is a day where we rejoice in Our King. We can be sure of The Hope that we have in Our Savior. As the world hears the seventh trumpet, all the followers of Our Father God will rejoice. We can know Our King Yeshua, Jesus, is coming and He won’t delay His return anymore! From there, He will finally establish God’s Kingdom that will bring Peace, Blessings, and Prosperity to the world. Oh, imagine how Wonderful Life will be then! 5.) Christ Brings A Reward “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Corinthians 15:52 In the end, when the loud sound of the seventh trumpet is heard, the dead in Christ will rise! Resurrection and Eternal Life Will Ensue! From there, they will meet the Our King and Savior in the air and will commence the establishment of God Our Father's Kingdom here on earth! The Feast of Trumpets points to the very hope of mankind. This world may not end through apocalyptic nuclear warfare or catastrophic natural calamities as some people predict. Let's take a look at the words of Our Savior: Jesus Christ, Himself said: “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” Matthew 24:21-22 Before man destroys himself, Our King and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ will intervene. At the sound of the last trumpet, everyone will know that there is a God In Heaven Who Is Ultimately In Control. He is The Supreme, Almighty God Who Created Everything and at the same time, the God who we call Our Father. Remember that the first century Church used the Old Testament as their basis for doctrine (II Timothy 3:16). So as we ponder The Mysteries of God Our Father today and His Feast of Trumpets, may we all gain insight, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, discernment, and Truth. I know this is a huge topic and in no way could someone fit all of Our Father's Teachings into a single devotion. We have numerous passages that show us Our Father's meanings in His Festivals (Rehearsals) and I encourage anyone who is looking for deeper meaning to study God's Word about His Holy Days and let Him reveal His wonderful messages to you. Let us end with the words of The Master, in whom we blow our real and spiritual trumpets when we give witness to Him, Our King and Our Savior: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” Luke 21:28 Happy Feast of Trumpets this evening everyone and an early Shabbat Shalom! Sound the trumpets you servants of God… The King Is Coming! Extra Scripture for Elul: “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 Good Morning Sabbath...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE. Father we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. Only 2 days until Feast (Rehearsal) of Trumpets everybody! Today, let’s take a look at prayer, because it is so important during this time of Elul. Following the devotion is a beautifully prayer by Trisha Arlin. God Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen, and… SHABBAT SHALOM! Prepare The Way! The King Is Coming! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 28): Profound Hebrew Words - TEFILLAH (Prayer) It can be easy to drop on our knees and pray to God Our Father when we are in trouble, hurt, distressed, or in need, but what about the rest of the time? With our english word "pray" it can be easy to fall into this habit, because the english definition is "to ask or beg," but let's take a look at The Original Hebrew Word for prayer, Tefillah, and see the meaning that is revealed. The Hebrew Word for prayer, Tefillah, has a much different meaning in its original form. Tefillah means "self evaluate," or "self judgement." So, we see that originally prayer, or Tefillah, meant a time for self examination and not just a time for asking for things. While it is definitely appropriate that we make requests to Our Father during prayer, as Yeshua, Jesus, and the apostles made clear, it originally meant a time for us to "judge" our lives according to the standard of Our Father in His Word, to judge our actions, behaviors, and attitudes in alignment with God's Holiness. Is this something that could change the way and frequency of our prayers? Let's go one step further. In Hebrew each letter has multiple meanings and this is what makes Our Father's Original Language so rich and profound. Let's take a look at "The Message" the individual letters of The Word "Teffilah" give us. The Word Tefillah in Hebrew is spelled with the Hebrew Letters (from right to left in Hebrew) Tav, Pey, Yod, Lamed, and Hey. It looks like this, תפילה. When we take the individual meanings of each letter and put them together, we get An Amazing Message. Ready for this? The individual letters in the Hebrew Word Tefillah mean: "The Spoken Covenant Sign of Worship to The Shepherd and Teacher, Revealed In Our Breath." What?! How amazing is that?! Our Father left no doubt about what prayer was to be with His Simple Yet Beautiful Word For Prayer, Tefillah! As we can see, prayer is not only about "asking for" or "begging," but an act of worship, questioning ourselves, and a sign that we are in covenant with Our Father revealed with our spoken words and breath. Wow... Brothers and Sisters, His Glory Is Infinite, His Mercies Are Never Failing, His Judgements Are Righteous, His Word Is Perfect, and His Mysteries Are Boundless! May we all make a resolution on this Sabbath Day, during this Holy Season, to revive ourselves with prayer, or Tefillah, and worship Our Father and His Son with the covenant sign towards Our Shepherd and Teacher, revealed with our words and breath! May we not only pray when we are in need, but also to evaluate ourselves against The Original Shepherd, knowing it is a command and sign of worship to spend time with Our Loving and Kind Father Yahweh, and His Son, The Word,Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our King. God Bless Everybody, have a Great Yeshua-Filled Sabbath, and may it be a peaceful rest filled with Tefillah! The Word of God AKA Fuel For The Soul AKA The TRUTH, The Way, and The Life: “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray (Tefillah) and not give up.” Luke 18:1 “as you pray (Tefillah) at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.” Ephesians 6:18 “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:19-21 “And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love The LORD (YHwH, Yahweh) your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’ “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them,” Deuteronomy 11:13-16 “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts.” Malachi 3:10-12 “Now while I was speaking, praying (Tefillah), and confessing (judging himself) my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) my God for the holy mountain of my God, yes, while I was speaking in prayer (Tefillah), the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand.” Daniel 9:20-22 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), But the prayer (Tefillah) of the upright is His delight.” Proverbs 15:8 An Extra Prayer For Elul: Return: A Prayer for Elul by Trisha Arlin Return to Elul… The sky was dark, and the month began. A special time of starting over; A month of kindness and clarity; Of consciousness and knowledge; Of bravery and strength. It is said that the truly evil are already condemned And the truly good are already blessed. So for the rest of us There is Elul. Return to ourselves… In Genesis the moon is called, “the lesser light.” And that’s how I feel tonight, Less than what I should be. What was I thinking? I was afraid, I was hurt, I was anxious… No excuses, I know what I did, Maybe it wasn’t so bad But maybe it was. How can I make it better? There is Elul. Return to the people we wronged… Use the ritual, Create a context. It makes it easier to speak: I am so sorry. I was wrong. I lacked compassion in the moment But I see things clearly now. You don’t have to accept my apology, We can do teshuvah together If you want. There is Elul. Return to each other… In community we pray For the kindness to comfort and care; And the clarity to see what must be done; For the consciousness to accept the truth; And the knowledge to get help if needed; For the bravery to ask for forgiveness; And the strength to forgive. Most of all, we pray for all who are in pain or who cause pain. All this and more because There is Elul. Bless The God of Justice, of Mercy and of Redemption that we may return every year, As old as the darkness, as new as the moon. Amen! “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 Good Morning Friday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY! As we rise to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, let us SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that blinds us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. Only 3 days until Feast (Rehearsal) of Trumpets everybody! Prepare The Way! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 27): A Promise From God… His Word (Yeshua Ha’Mashiach , Jesus Christ) Gives Us Wisdom Our Father is reliable. His Testimony About Himself Is Sure. He is so reliable that His Word Can Take A Silly Foolish Person and Make Him Or Her Wise and Sharp. Let's take a look at The Word: “The Law (instructions) of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is perfect, converting the soul; The Testimony of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is sure, making wise the simple;” Psalms 19:7 Testimony. The root mean's "to bear witness." “The Testimony of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)," pictures Our Father Speaking Of Himself. He Is Letting Us Know and Bearing Witness To Himself. Think about that for just a moment and what Yeshua, Our Savior, Told Us In John: “I and My Father are ONE.” John 10:30 Here Our Father Is "taking the stand" in His Own Defense. Now let's not get things backwards, Our Father Doesn't Need To Take Any Oaths. He Cannot Lie (Titus 1:2), but it is clear The Word "Testimony" gives the understanding that God, Our Father, Is Bearing Witness To Himself. How is the testimony described? "Sure." Sure means you can trust it, reliable, lasting. Our Father Only Speaks Truth...ALWAYS. This is why His Testimony Is "Sure." In Yeshua, Jesus Christ, He Showed Us...Sure...Perfect. The "Testimony of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)" is so reliable, via His Word, and The Life Of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, His Word, that This Testimony Is Able to take those of us with no clue about where we are going in this life (this was definitely me), or why, and turn them into people filled with wisdom and direction for their lives. HalleluYah! Praise God Our Father and His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Forever! What Our Savior has done for us is truly what The Love of Our Father is all about. In honor of God Our Father and His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, may we all search our hearts, forgive our transgressors, repent of our sin, and rejoice in the saving power of Our Messiah. After all, we are in the month of repentance and The Festival (Rehearsal) of Trumpets is only three days away. This reminds me of a wonderful verse to end with and this "Testimony of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)" makes my heart overflow with appreciation for Our Savior: “When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:25-26 Extra Fuel For The Soul: “How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” Psalms 119:103-105 Extra Thoughts For Elul: Patience: The Hebrew term for patience is savlanut. It shares a linguistic root with sevel, which means ‘suffering,’ and sabal, which means ‘a porter.’ What could these three words possibly share in common? The answer is that being patient means bearing the burden of your own suffering. You tell yourself, I can bear these feelings on my inner shoulders. Holding them aloft and not crumpling under their weight, you are patient. – Alan Morinis, Every Day, Holy Day The problem with impatience is that it usually takes only a split second for its first glowing embers to ignite into flames that course through us even before we’ve become aware that they have started up. Impatience snuffs out consciousness, and before I even know it’s happening, I’m leaning on my horn, or you’re going hoarse yelling at your child, or cursing the postman. At this point, we don’t even recognize ourselves, and there is little to be done but to try to rein in these feelings enough to minimize any damage we might do. . . . When you find yourself in a situation that is triggering your impatience, instead of giving all your attention and energy to finding fault with the person who is so clearly at fault, you can choose to be patient and take responsibility for your emotional response to the situation. You make the choice of whether you buckle or call on Our Father’s Teachings of patience to help you bear the burden of the situation. My teacher, Rabbi Perr, calls this awareness and exercise of choice “opening the space between the match and the fuse.” – Alan Morinis, Everyday Holiness Food for thought: Something To Ponder: When do you find it easiest to be patient? In what situations do you tend to become impatient? Are there any common triggers? Is there anyone you owe an apology as a result of your impatience? What would it take to “open the space between the match and the fuse?” “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2 “You too, be patient and stand firm, because The LORD’s coming is near.” James 5:8 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” 1 Corinthians 13:4 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12 “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 Good Morning Thursday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Thank You for Your REVELATION. Thank You for Your Gift of Life, which IS OURS IN Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. We praise You, we worship You, and we pray to You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name. AMEIN! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 26): A Promise From God… His Word (Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ) Has The Power To Transform The Law (Instructions) of God Our Father are so complete and comprehensive that He Is Able To Totally Transform Our Inner Person. Let take a look at God's Word: “The Law of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Is Perfect, converting the soul; The Testimony of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Is Sure, making wise the simple;” Psalms 19:7 We see in Psalm 19:7 that "The Law (Instructions) of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) converts the soul." The word "Law" means Torah, or first five books of The Bible, literal translation "instructions," The Law For Life," or "Rule For Living." When The Word of God Almighty is spoken of as "Law" or "Instructions," it means this is normal for us, or the standard by which every action is measured. So whose Law or Instructions are they? The Bible is The Instructions or Law "of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh)." Our Father tells us His Word (Yeshua, Jesus) Is "Perfect." The word perfect literally translates as "complete," "all-sided," or "many-faceted." It means "all encompassing" or "thorough in every respect." As a matter of fact "The Law of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh, Our Father)" is so complete and comprehensive that Our Father Tells Us That His Word Is Effective In "Converting The Soul." Know why? Because The Word is Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ! The Scriptures here are telling Us that Our Father's Word is The Answer to our soul (life) problems. So, what is being said is: Our Father's Instructions Are So Completely Comprehensive That His Word Is Able To Convert Our Souls. The word convert is great. Some translations use the English word "revive" or "restore," but in study this servant has found the most accurate meaning to be "transformed." Our Kind and Loving Father Promises That His Instructions Are So Totally Comprehensive that, whatever condition any of our souls may be in, His Word Can Transform It From Inside-Out, Top to Bottom, in the Present, Past, and Future. Our Father's Word Changes Us To The Very Core Of Who We Are As A People, and Each Of Us As A Person… Extra Fuel For The Soul: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalms 139:23-24 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 Extra Thoughts For Elul: Worry: Like many traits, the trait of worry is neither wholly good nor bad, but can be problematic at the extremes. On one hand, if one is constantly “borrowing trouble” or fretting about things that may never come to be, he or she will miss out on their life. They will never be fully present, always worrying about the future. On the other hand, if one acts with no concern for the consequences of one’s actions, it can lead to disaster. On either extreme, one misses out on the joy and wisdom that come from conscious living. Our Bible teaches us that it is good to look back on our actions with a critical eye, and to be concerned about how our decisions will affect others. But it is also important to feel untainted joy in response to the life we have been given by Our Father In Heaven. The following texts illustrate this tension: Worry and sorrow erode the heart . . . All the good resulting from joy is reversed in the case of worry. – The Ways of the Tzadikkim, “The Gate of “Worry” (Anonymous, 15th c., Germany) If worry comes to your heart, take it as a warning from God who loves you. Examine your deeds and take counsel with those who advise you. When you have fulfilled God’s Will, trust God and your serenity will return. – Menachem Mendel of Satanov, Cheshbon ha-Nefesh. Something To Ponder: What do you tend to worry most about? Does the worry prod you toward useful action? Or do you spin your wheels? Does worry get in the way of your experiencing your life in “real time”? “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” Matthew 6:25 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 Good Morning Wednesday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. As You Walk with us today, and as we get closer to The Feast of Trumpets, please keep us focused on YOUR TRUTH. Please continue to fill OUR HEARTS & MINDS with YOUR PEACE and straighten the paths before us. In YESHUA, Jesus Christ's Glorious Name, we pray. AMEN. Only a little over 4 days until The Feast of Trumpets Brothers and Sisters! My prayer is that each and everyone of you has grown closer to The King, has had meaningful reflection in your walk, and have cleaned out some of the mess we have all most certainly built up over this last, crazy year during this season of Elul. One day soon Our Messiah will return and straighten this place out and it is our job to make sure we are wearing our "wedding clothes" when He arrives. Did you know that Yeshua, Jesus Our King, is prophesied to come back on The Feast of Trumpets? After all, why do we blow The Trumpets?... Because The Trumpets are blown before The King Enters. If you haven't ever heard this, or it is fairly new to you, this servant encourages you to take some time today and meditate on that. What will it be like? What will the world do? Will you be ready? Since we know that one day He will come and The Feast (Rehearsal) of Trumpets will no longer be a rehearsal, we should be preparing ourselves. "Preparing for what" you may ask? A wedding. Remember, Yeshua is coming for His Bride. What is the first thing you do when getting ready for a wedding? Take a shower of course. So, let's do a little "Washing With The Water Of The Word" this morning as we prepare for our King to come back. The whole theme of "The 40 Days of Elul" is repentance, turning back to God, and preparing ourselves, as a Bride, for The King. So, before we begin our "shower" today, let us all ask ourselves if we have become closer to our Guide, Redeemer, Savior, King, and Commander during this season of Elul. Let's all ask ourselves the question that gets asked every Season of Elul: The King Is In The Field. Where are you? - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 25): Washing... With The Water Of The Word God Our Father Has The Truest Word In History And It Is Filled With So Much Promise! His Promises Are Bountiful Throughout His Word And Reveal How Faithful, Compassionate, and Unbelievably Loving Towards Us The Creator Of All Things, Our Father, Is. God Almighty's Word Has Endured And Will Endure Forever. The choice is up to us though to really know His Word and bind it to every circumstance in our lives, whether it is good or whether we think it is bad. We can all agree, that in our current human condition, it is easier than we would like to become fearful, discouraged, insecure, or unsure about this life. It is in these very moments that we must remind ourselves, and each other, The Truth of God and His Amazing Promises To Us... Found Everywhere Throughout His Word. Just take a moment and think on these few promises from God Our Father, To Us: We Are Never Alone, He Will Never Forsake Us, He Is With Us Always. These Glorious Truths Are An Affirmation Of Our Identities, A Reminder Of How Faithful He Is Even When We Aren't, And Are Promises Which Strengthen Us When We Are Weak. If we merely keep Our Father's Word in our hearts and minds, we will stand... no matter how difficult life may become. Our Father Bless each and every one of you on the other side of this screen and have a wonderful Right Hand of Our Father-Filled day! God's Word aka Fuel For The Soul aka The Truth Which Strengthens Us: “The grass withers, the flower fades, But The Word of our God stands FOREVER.” Isaiah 40:8 “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your Word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” Psalms 119:9-11 “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in The Law (Instructions, Torah) of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), And in His Law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalms 1:1-3 “Forever, O LORD (YHVH, Yahweh), Your Word is settled in heaven.” Psalms 119:89 “Let The Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16 “that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by The Word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:26-27 Extra Thoughts For Elul: Enthusiasm: There are two different aspects to the trait of [zerizut, which can be translated as “enthusiasm,” “zeal” or “alacrity.”] The first is to be quick to take action. . . . When windows of opportunity open in your life, these may also be invitations from God. Are you quick to recognize and act on the ones that are for the good? The second aspect of enthusiasm involves finding and expressing the energy needed to complete a task. As important as it is to be quick off the mark, it is equally important to sustain energy throughout the whole enterprise. It’s so common for people to begin something with a tank full of enthusiasm, only to grind to a halt when they hit a delay or when some unforeseen obstruction arises, they get bored, or something else gets in the way. It takes enthusiasm not to bog down, wander off, or pull up midcourse, but to press on to finish the good deed with rigor. With regard to this, the Sages said, “A mitzvah is judged only upon its completion.” As much as we like to comfort ourselves otherwise, good intentions are not good enough. – Alan Morinis, Everyday Holiness Something to Ponder On: How much enthusiasm and follow-through do you bring to the tasks to which you commit yourself, especially those tasks in service to Our Father and Savior? Remember, we are ambassadors to The King. As you look over the past year, are there areas where your enthusiasm carried you through perceived obstacles? Are there good intentions that fell by the wayside because your enthusiasm petered out? “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,” Colossians 3:23 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God Loves a cheerful giver. And God Is Able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “I am my Beloved’s, and my Beloved is mine. He feeds His Flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 |
