Good Morning Tuesday...
Father thank You for this new day. Please continue to fill us with Your Love and Compassion as we go out into a fallen world. Let us be a Light in the darkness and use us to usher more Brothers and Sisters into Your Kingdom. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. - Planted In Yeshua (Jesus) Planted In Yeshua, Our Roots Have Real Security. Our Messiah Is The Eternal Security Blanket. Most often people's sense of reality, and peace of mind, is secured or rooted in the familiar. We are comforted with things that we "know." Many of us stroll through Life attaching ourselves to the familiar. Through our experiences, we have all probably seen some Brother or Sister, or both, continue to attend a lifeless church simply because they have a desire for the security of familiar faces rather than The Truth of Our Messiah. Even people who have been redeemed from a bad situation by Our Father can be drawn back into hardships. This begs the question, why? The answer dawned on me the other day as I was listening to a podcast. The gentleman airing the podcast was interviewing some inmates about their faith. The reason they are drawn back into hardships is because the adversity is familiar to them. It's what they know, and it is what they are comfortable with. Let us consider that many times inmates in prison are repeat offenders. Why? Because they have become more familiar with prison life than they have Freedom. We might all have a tough time growing in Our Savior and God if our peace of mind is based on the foundation of "outward things." Our peace of mind, our security blanket needs to always be firmly planted in Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Messiah. When we do plant ourselves in Him, when we are firmly rooted in Christ, the other parts of our lives will experience an eternal security which nothing can take away. This is a Promise of God Almighty, and He Never Breaks His Promises... Never. 😎🙌🔥 “I have set The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh, Elohim) always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalms 16:8-11 Prayer: Dear Father God, Holy and Mighty. We humbly come before You this morning and ask You to give us the strength we need to put off the "safe and familiar" and be firmly planted in Your Son Our Savior, so that we may face any "unknown" situation with confidence and Your Security. Please guide us with Your Holy Spirit in all our decisions and help us to have a relationship with You and Your Son that is our True Peace of Mind and security in whatever we may face. We thank You so much for all Your Are Teaching Us, for all You Are Doing In Our Lives, and for Always Being There For Us, Your Children. Bless You Mighty Father. We Love You and We Are Grateful. We ask these things in The Mighty Name of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ Our King. Amen!

Amen! - You Are... (Part 4) We have been going through who Our Father Is and who Our Savior Is in the devotion series "He Is...." Today, lets take a look at who Our Father Tells Us We Are To Him. Our Father Has An Undying Love For You. His Mercies Endure Forever, Especially For Those Who Love Him. As we go through The Scriptures today, please know, no one can Love you like The One True and Living God, Our Father. He invites us to know how special we are to Him, how much He Loves Us, and He Expresses This Love Everywhere in His Word. If you are having a tough time, if you are struggling with a problem, or if you just need a little "pick me up" of encouragement from Our Father, He Is Always There For You... ALWAYS. He Tells Each and Every One of Us How Much We Mean To Him. He Is... The Almighty God and Father and He Tells You that... YOU ARE...: You Are...Empowered: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 You Are...Chosen: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.” John 15:16-17 You Are...Family: “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,” Ephesians 2:19 You Are...His: “But now, thus says The LORD (YHWH/Yahweh), who created you, O Jacob, And He Who Formed You, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;" Isaiah 43:1-3 May The God Of All Good Things Bless You All! Have a Wonderful, Amazing, God-Filled Week. May we all embrace The Fullness of Our Father's Love and spread His Love Everywhere We Go. We ask this in Our Mighty Savior's Name, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen! Good Morning Sunday...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name. Amen! - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Malachi) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible to find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word🔥. Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what? Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God (Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Malachi, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Malachi, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, and Love for Your Children. And we thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Malachi The Prophet of God: “Your eyes shall see, And you shall say, ‘The LORD is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’” Malachi 1:5 NKJV “Your eyes will see this, and you will say, “Yahweh is great beyond the borders of Israel.”” Malachi 1:5 LEB “A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the LORD of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?’ “You offer defiled food on My altar, But say, ‘In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying, ‘The table of the LORD is contemptible.’ And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 1:6-8 NKJV “A son honors his father, and a slave his master; but if I am a father, where is my honor, and if I am a master, where is my reverence?” says Yahweh of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. “But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’ You are presenting defiled food on my altar! But you ask, ‘How have we defiled you?’ By saying that the table of Yahweh is despised! When you offer a blind animal for sacrifice, is that not wrong? And when you offer the lame and the one who is ill, is that not wrong? Present it, please, to your governor! Will he be pleased with you? Will he show you favor?” says Yahweh of hosts.” Malachi 1:6-8 LEB “But cursed be the deceiver Who has in his flock a male, And takes a vow, But sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished— For I am a great King,” Says the LORD of hosts, “And My name is to be feared among the nations.” Malachi 1:14 NKJV “Cursed is the one who cheats, who has in his flock a male and vows it, but instead sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord! For I am a great king,” says Yahweh of hosts, “and my name is awesome among the nations.” Malachi 1:14 LEB “For the LORD God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says the LORD of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.” You have wearied the LORD with your words; Yet you say, “In what way have we wearied Him? ” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of the LORD, And He delights in them,” Or, “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:16-17 NKJV “For I hate divorce,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “and he who covers his clothing with violence,” says Yahweh of hosts. “You must be attentive to your spirit and you must not be unfaithful.” You have wearied Yahweh with your words, but you ask, “With what have we wearied him?” You have done so when you say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of Yahweh, and in them he delights,” or “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:16-17 LEB “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 3:1 NKJV “Look! I am going to send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you are seeking will come suddenly to his temple, and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you are taking pleasure—look!—he is about to come,” says Yahweh of hosts.” Malachi 3:1 LEB “For I, Yahweh, have not changed, and you, O children of Jacob, have not perished.” Malachi 3:6 LEB “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” Malachi 3:6 NKJV “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10 NKJV “Bring the whole tithe to the storehouse, so that there will be food in my house, and test me please in this,” says Yahweh of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour forth for you an overflowing blessing.” Malachi 3:10 LEB “Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.” Malachi 3:16-18 NKJV “Then those who revered Yahweh spoke with one another. And Yahweh listened attentively and heard, and a scroll of remembrance was written before him of those who revere Yahweh and ponder his name. “They will be mine,” says Yahweh of hosts, “on the day that I am acting, my treasured possession. I will have compassion on them as a man has compassion on his son who serves him. You will return and see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve him.” Malachi 3:16-18 LEB “For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says the LORD of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this, ” Says the LORD of hosts. “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:1-6 NKJV “For look! The day is about to come, burning like an oven, and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble. The coming day will consume them,” says Yahweh of hosts. “It will not leave behind for them root or branch. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise, with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like fattened calves. You will trample down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I am going to act,” says Yahweh of hosts. “Remember the instruction of my servant Moses, which I commanded him at Horeb to all Israel, the rules and regulations. Look! I am going to send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yahweh! And he will bring back the hearts of the fathers to the sons, and the hearts of the sons to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the land with a ban.” Malachi 4:1-6 LEB Good Morning Passover Sabbath...
Father Thank You for Your Rest. Thank You for Your Day. Thank You for Your Moedim (Appointed Times). Please give us PEACE. In Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ The Messiah's Name we pray. Amen. - Consider This... Part 3 “Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,” Hebrews 3:1 Consider Yeshua, Jesus Christ. What is it Paul is asking us to do? Consider. Let's take a look at the definition of consider according to merriam-webster: Consider - 1 : to think about carefully: such as a : to think of especially with regard to taking some action is considering you for the job considered moving to the city b : to take into account The defendant's age must be considered. 2 : to regard or treat in an attentive or kindly way He considered her every wish. 3 : to gaze on steadily or reflectively The old gentleman considered him attentively. — Edith Wharton 4 : to come to judge or classify consider thrift essential 5 : REGARD His works are well considered abroad. 6 : SUPPOSE I consider it's best that he left when he did. Paul is asking us to consider Yeshua, Jesus Christ. He explains He Is Our High Priest and THE Apostle. Consider that. Consider That Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Died So You Can Live. Consider That He Was Never Wrong... About Anything. Consider that He Was Always The Perfect Sacrifice And Every Sacrifice The Bible Was Leading Us To. Consider that God Our Father leads us to His Word AKA Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Then consider that Yeshua, Our Savior, leads us right back to God Our Father. Consider that God Our Father and Yeshua Our Savior Are One. Consider that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Has Always Been Here. In all the history of mankind, there were only 3 days that we were separated from Him. Consider that even during those 3 days, He may have still been with us. Consider that the only people Yeshua ever chastises in The Bible are "religious" authorities. Consider that He fulfilled every single prophecy in The Bible. Every single one. Consider that. What is it that Our Father Is Calling You to consider? His Love? His Sacrifice? His Perfect Example? His Death? His Resurrection? His Divinity? May we all take some time to CONSIDER the simple yet profound statement Our Father used Paul to write in Hebrews. May we all Let Our Father and Our Savior reveal to each one of us how we need to Consider Him. Prayer: YHWH, God Our Father, Yahweh Who Is In Heaven, Thank You For Your Beloved and Perfect Son. Thank You For All The Endless, Fruitful, Amazing, and Mysterious Things You Have Given Us To Consider About Your Son Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ Our Savior. We Love You and Thank You Eternally For Your Perfect Word and Gift. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name We Pray. Amen! Something To Consider, Jesus Christ, The Word of God: “Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,” Hebrews 3:1 “For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,” I Corinthians 15:3 “And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers.” Luke 2:47 “Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?” Matthew 26:53-54 “Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17 “I and My Father are one.” John 10:30 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Matthew 3:7 “Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.” These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.” John 8:19-20 “After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” John 19:28 Good Morning Passover Friday...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Help us to be Your LIGHTs in this dark world. Help us to show the kindness, compassion, mercy, and LOVE that You Have Show Us Through Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. We ask this in His Name, The Name Above All Names, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior. Amen! - Connecting The Jots - God’s Beloved Is Revealed! Part 7 This devotion is dedicated to The One And Only Yeshua, Jesus Christ The King. Bless Our Father For His Infinite Wisdom Which Is Manifest In Our Savior. He Is The One Who Connects All The Jots...Period. I heard a saying the other day that just amazed me. It was so simple, profound, and "on the mark" that it was absolutely seared into my mind from the time I heard it. It goes something like this: The New Testament Is In The Old Testament Concealed; The Old Testament Is In The New Testament Revealed. What a profound, "spot on" statement made with an amazing, short, succinct sentence! Today, let’s put this “pearl of wisdom” to the test and see how Our Father and Savior...Connect The Jots. Parallel Verses From The Old Concealed and The New Revealed (Matthew): 25.) “But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God and ate the showbread which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?” Matthew 12:3-4 “And the priest answered David and said, “ There is no common bread on hand; but there is holy bread, if the young men have at least kept themselves from women.” Then David answered the priest, and said to him, “Truly, women have been kept from us about three days since I came out. And the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in effect common, even though it was consecrated in the vessel this day.” So the priest gave him holy bread; for there was no bread there but the showbread which had been taken from before the LORD, in order to put hot bread in its place on the day when it was taken away.” I Samuel 21:4-6 26.) “Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple.” Matthew 12:5-6 “‘And on the Sabbath day two lambs in their first year, without blemish, and two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offering— this is the burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.” Numbers 28:9-10 27.) “But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. Yet He warned them not to make Him known, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles. He will not quarrel nor cry out, Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench, Till He sends forth justice to victory; And in His name Gentiles will trust.”” Matthew 12:15-21 ““Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth. He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law.” Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it:” Isaiah 42:1-5 28.) “But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here.” Matthew 12:39-41 “Therefore they cried out to the LORD and said, “We pray, O LORD, please do not let us perish for this man’s life, and do not charge us with innocent blood; for You, O LORD, have done as it pleased You.” So they picked up Jonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging. Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice to the LORD and took vows. Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.” Jonah 1:14-17 Our Father Is AMAZING. Bless Him, Praise Him, and Let Him Connect The Jots For You! “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Matthew 13:45-51 Good Morning Passover Thursday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. As You walk with us today, keep us focused on Your TRUTHS, and continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your PEACE, so there's no room for fear or doubt. We ask this in Our Mighty Savior's Name, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen. - David: The Anointed King of Israel (7) The Way of Perfect Timing: We previously looked at "The Patience of David" in part 6 of this series. David, most of the time, was very good at waiting on The Living God before he made a move. It served him well throughout his life. When he didn't, he acknowledged his mistake to all and repented. He waited on The LORD (Yahweh,YHWH) to instruct his path. He waited until it was the right time to burst onto the scene and make himself known. It just so happens that the right time would come not too long after David was playing music for Saul, soothing the evil spirit that the current King of Israel received for disobedience. David, the secretly anointed King of Israel, was about to be introduced to the world and in stunning fashion. David was back home, doing just what he had done before the anointing by Samuel. Doing just what he had done before he went and played music for Saul. Tending the flock. Jesse, David's father, sent David to check on his older brothers while they were off at battle. David showed up at the battlefield, heard Goliath spouting obscenities against Israel, and watched his kinsmen and brothers do nothing. "Our God Is A Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29)." Our Father put His Fire down in David's belly. David got "Fired Up" and he spoke these words: “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of The Living God?” I Samuel 17:26 NKJV Our Father's Word prophesied about someone who would be "zealous" for His House. Of course, this Scripture may bring instant pictures of Our Savior grabbing some whips or "cords" and spanking money-changing sinners in The Temple (John 2:15-17). He was fulfilling prophecy. Yeshua (Jesus) was using Our Father's Perfect Timing, The Way of Perfect Timing. Well, David was a "picture" or "shadow" of Our Messiah. David facing this giant was part of that Messiah "picture" and "zeal" for The Nation of The LORD. Needless to say, David was angry. No one insults The Living God's People! David was about to make an example of this nine-foot-tall, pagan giant and he was about to do it in style. Our Father was using the seemingly most "foolish" and "weak" warrior on the battlefield, and He was going to use him to slay the mightiest warrior on the battlefield. No armor, no shield, no sword, but with a stone. The use of the stone was pretty cool, but what was even more fascinating than that... No one even saw THE ROCK that actually won the fight, Yahweh Himself. We all know what happened next. While romanticized by twentieth century authors, this scene certainly would be hard to imagine in its authenticity. It is hard to grasp the reality of this situation for those of us who have grown up in a modern age. Regardless, David had waited patiently for The Way of Perfect Timing, Our Father in Heaven's Timing. David knew it was "that time." Just as he knew when he faced a lion and a bear to protect his father's flock in the wilderness, David knew he would taste victory facing this "uncircumcised" giant Philistine. He was protecting Our Heavenly Father's Flock. He knew victory would be Our Father's. Everyone else was scared. The rest of Israel, every warrior there at the battlefield, did nothing. David's brothers were about to find out he wasn't lying about killing that bear, or that lion. David scooped up five smooth stones, one for Goliath and four more in case the uncircumcised Philistine's four older brothers showed up. He was no dummy, he had heard the stories. Our Father was about to immortalize the man "after His own heart" for all generations to come. The Way of Perfect Timing was now. David followed The Living God down to the battlefield and "feared no evil." It was a "small gate" to enter and a "narrow path" that no one was willing to walk, except... The Anointed King of Israel. Whether it was divine intervention or part of the training Our Father had given David in the wilderness, he knew Our Father's Way...The Way of Perfect Timing. The Word of Yahweh, The Living God: “I waited patiently for Yahweh, And he inclined to me and heard my cry for help.” Psalms 40:1 LEB “So whenever the evil spirit from God came to Saul, David would take the stringed instrument and play it with his hand. Then it would bring relief for Saul; he would feel better and the evil spirit would depart from him.” 1 Samuel 16:23 LEB “Now David was the youngest. The three oldest followed Saul, but David went back and forth from Saul to feed the sheep of his father in Bethlehem.” 1 Samuel 17:14-15 LEB “Now the Philistine came forward early and late, and he took his stand for forty days. Then Jesse said to his son David, “Please take for your brothers an ephah of this roasted grain and these ten loaves of bread, and bring them quickly to the camp for your brothers. And these ten portions of cheese you will bring to the commander of the thousand; find out how your brothers are doing, and take their pledge.” 1 Samuel 17:16-18 LEB “For indeed our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:29 LEB “And he made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple courts, both the sheep and the oxen, and he poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. And to the ones selling the doves he said, “Take these things away from here! Do not make my Father’s house a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it is written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.” John 2:15-17 LEB “Then David said to the Philistine, “You are coming to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I am coming to you in the name of Yahweh of hosts, the God of the battle lines of Israel, whom you have defied!” 1 Samuel 17:45 LEB “But the foolish things of the world God chose in order that he might put to shame the wise, and the weak things of the world God chose in order that he might put to shame the strong,” 1 Corinthians 1:27 LEB “Then he took his staff in his hand, picked out for himself five smooth stones from the wadi, and he put them in his shepherd’s bag, in the pouch. And with his sling in his hand, he approached the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40 LEB “Yahweh lives! Blessed be my rock! May God, THE ROCK of my salvation, be exalted!” 2 Samuel 22:47 LEB “Your servant has struck down both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he defied the battle lines of The Living God.” 1 Samuel 17:36 LEB “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.” PSALMS 23:4 AMP “But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.” MATTHEW 7:14 AMP “And when He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king: of him He testified and said, ‘I HAVE FOUND DAVID the son of Jesse, A MAN AFTER MY OWN HEART [conforming to My will and purposes], who will do all My will." Father thank You for this NEW DAY! As we rise to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, let us SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. - His Arms Are Still Open “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!” Psalms 47:1 We have an Amazingly Good Father who never leaves us and is always accessible because of His Good Work and Sacrifice in Yeshua, Jesus Christ. As we go through this Holy Week may we all let the sandy foundations of "our futures" pass away as we embrace "His Future" for us. May we all take responsibility and not blame the world for our failures, but instead rejoice that we are powerful in our weaknesses and strengthened in our failures. Many times our failures invite finger pointing and "the blame game," when what we should really do is admit our "fallen short" status. We must remember, as Bible Believing Followers of Messiah, we are not victims, but victors. We are victors because of a free gift in Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The Eternal King. We indeed are more than conquerers, just as Our Father's Word tells us. With this in mind, we should all be mindful not to make ourselves out to be something we are not. If we do this we run the risk of eventually forgetting our true selves and The Truth that we are Our King's servants. We are His Emissaries and we must be mindful when out in the world. We may not realize it, but the world is watching because they know we are followers of The One True and Living God, Our Father, and His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ. The prodigal son came home and so did we. Let's make sure not to leave again. Think About This: When you greet someone you love, you open your arms wide to embrace them. This is what the prodigal sons father did and this is what Yeshua, Jesus Christ, does for us. In fact, not only did Our Savior open His arms for us, He let them get nailed open. He did this in the greatest scene of submission to Our Father the world has ever seen. He did this to let us know He will always embrace us, He will never leave us, and His arms are always open to us. Powerful stuff! May we all remember the next time life doesn't work out the way "we planned" that He has a plan and it is much better than ours. The next time you are struggling, down, disappointed, or frustrated, think about this... His Arms Are Still Open. The Word of The Most High aka The Word of Truth: “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” Matthew 7:24-29 “But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” Romans 3:21-26 “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 15:57 “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:34-37 “having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.” I Peter 2:12 “in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.” Titus 2:7-8 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3:16-17 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 Good Morning Passover Tuesday...
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your TRUTH. Thank You for your Great Love and Mercy. Thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name we pray. Amen. - How Did Yeshua (Jesus) Do It? Before we get back to the "David: The Anointed King of Israel" series, in honor of Our Passover Lamb and First Fruits Yeshua, let's take a few moments to look at Him, Our Greatest Example, when it comes to following and obeying Our Father. Today we will look at some of the prayers and actions of Jesus in the gospels of Matthew and Mark. As we read The Word today and see how Jesus prayed, what Jesus prayed for, and where He addressed Our Father, let us examine our own prayer life and let the words of Our Savior Strengthen Us. May we all be not only strengthened by His Words, but may His Words also soften our hearts toward our brethren and help us to pray for our enemies. Today we will be using both the CJB and NKJV for clarity purposes. Prayer: Father God, we ask You to open our hearts and minds today so that we may understand the words of Your Son in His prayers to You. Help us to see what is really being said and not just what is "on the surface" Father. As we read Your Word we ask You to move inside us, light a fire, and let it burn continually. We love You, thank You, and praise You all the days of our lives. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Mighty Name we pray. Amen. The Prayers and Actions of Yeshua: “It was at that time that Yeshua said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You concealed these things from the sophisticated and educated and revealed them to ordinary folks. Yes, Father, I thank you that it pleased You to do this.” (Matthew) 11:25-26 CJB “After He had sent the crowds away, He went up into the hills by Himself to pray. Night came on, and he was there alone.” (Matthew) 14:23 CJB “And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.” Matthew 15:36 NKJV “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35 NKJV “And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray.” Mark 6:46 NKJV “Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will. ” Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words.” Mark 14:32-39 NKJV What can we take from these passages?: Yeshua was alone most of the time when He went to prayed. "He often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."(Luke 5:16) 1.) Pray alone when seeking Our Father 2.) He reveals to the innocent and ordinary and Yeshua thanks Him for this 3.)when He was with people, He was feeding them. 4.) When He was alone He pleaded with His Father, but still submitted to His Will. 5.) when He was with His disciples they stayed awake, when Yeshua left, they fell asleep. Praise God for His Beautiful Message in the Life of Yeshua, Jesus Christ! May we all glean from The King. God Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen. Have a great God-Filled day and continue to be a Light of Our Father through Yeshua. A Christ-centered life is like a good watch: open face, busy hands, pure gold, and full of good works. ~Unknown Happy Feast of First Fruits and Resurrection Sunday Everybody!!!
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. We THANK YOU for continuing YOUR GOOD WORKS yesterday, today, and forevermore. May we continually thank You for Your Salvation YESHUA, OUR RESURRECTED SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, and being OUR GOD!!! - His Peace He Has Given Us It may seem strange when in John 14 Yeshua (Jesus) talks about His Peace. We can only imagine it was the last thing on the disciples mind. Our Savior had just told them that He would no longer be with them. Although this must have been a confusing moment for the disciples, they would soon understand what The Teacher was saying and they would rejoice. What Yeshua, Jesus, did tell them though is that they, regardless of His temporary departure, would have Peace. Now Our Savior wasn't speaking about a peace that would come from anything in this world. He wasn't speaking about a peace that we get from a great retirement, a steady job, or the peace we can have when everything is "going our way," but instead He was speaking about a peace that we could possess even in the most difficult of circumstances. In fact, Our Savior was speaking about a Peace that surpasses all understanding. Let's take a look at The Word: “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:26-27 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 When we read Exodus 12 we see Our Father explaining to Moses and Aaron how God's People were to celebrate Passover. They were suppose to apply The Blood of The Lamb to their doorposts and then gather inside for a family meal. Today, we commonly call this a Seder (Order) Service. The families and neighbors would apply The Blood of The Lamb to the doorposts, and then they could eat with peace and safety as death "passed over" them. Praise Our Father in Heaven He gave us this foreshadowing, because now we can understand in a more full way how Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our Savior allows us to enter into His Peace because of His Blood. After all, He Is The Passover Lamb. Through His blood we are "sealed" and allowed to be in a full relationship with Our Father. Our Father offers us favor, protection, saving power, and most importantly His Presence. Because of His kind and merciful sacrifice we get these wonderful benefits...Free! HalleluYah! Right? 😎🙌🔥 We have been going through the series "David: The Anointed King of Israel," lately. Let's see how the genius poet wrote about Our Father's Heavenly Presence: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” Psalms 23:4-5 Something To Think About: Our Father's Word tells us... “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:10-11 When we feel troubled, afraid, anxious, or are hurting, may we all remember that The Blood Of The Lamb, Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Blood, is painted upon the doorposts of our lives. May we all rejoice in Him! Prayer: Dear Father God, please accept our first fruits of praise and work. Father, please put inside us a desire to give ourselves completely to You and to be more like Our Perfect Example, Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Help us to understand with a more full understanding just how amazing it is that which You have done for us. As we observe Your Holy Week of Passover, where You gave The Greatest Sacrifice ever known to man, Yourself, we ask You with humble and contrite hearts to soften us and help us to offer You our very best. Help us to be more humble and meek like Your Son, The Passover Lamb, Our Eternal and Mighty Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. We ask You for all these things in His Mighty and Perfect Name. Thank you, Bless You, and We Love You. Amen! God Bless Everybody and have a Wonderful, First Fruits, Perfect Passover Lamb-Filled Day! Due to a schedule conflict there will be no devotion sent out tomorrow. We will pick back up on Passover Tuesday. Until then, may we all do as Our Brother Peter wrote in God's Word: “Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor The King.” I Peter 2:17 He Is Risen! 😃🙌🔥 Happy Passover Everybody!!!
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. We THANK YOU for continuing YOUR GOOD WORKS yesterday, today, and forevermore. May we continually thank You for Your Salvation YESHUA, OUR SACRIFICIAL LAMB, JESUS CHRIST, and being OUR GOD!!! - The Passover... Everything Yeshua, Jesus Christ, came, He saw, and He conquered. His last words were: "It Is Finished!(John 19:30)" Not only did He come, see, and conquer, but He also fulfilled. In fact, many scholars believed that Yeshua fulfilled up to 456 prophecies, and counting! Here are just a handful of significant prophecies fulfilled by Yeshua: 1.) Born in Bethlehem (Appropriately Meaning "House of Bread) 2.) He was preceded by John The Baptist (Jesus tells us John was the "Elijah that was to come.") 3.) He entered Jerusalem on a donkey 4.) He was betrayed by a friend who received thirty pieces of silver 5.) He stood silent before His accusers 6.) He died, being crucified, in the manner Romans used for criminals 7.) His was scourged 8.) He was pierced through His hands and feet To get an idea of the chances of any one person in history fulfilling just these eight prophecies, we have to really have to "open our eyes" and imagine the staggering numbers. The odds that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, fulfilled JUST THE EIGHT PROPHECIES ABOVE are: 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 or 1:10 to the 17th Power. This is really quite remarkable! While we don't have time to look at larger numbers or even larger and unfathomable odds, you can find them immediately here: https://yeshua.org/ Also, if you would like review more than 300 of the prophecies Yeshua fulfilled, they are documented and resourced here: https://yeshua.org/jewish-scriptures/300-predictions-about-messiah/ It is quite amazing that Our Savior fulfilled so many prophecies just during this current Holy Feast of Our Father, Passover. Consider this: He was sacrificed on the exact correct date, in the exact correct manner, He was skinned, He was hung on cedar wood, blood and water came out of His side, He was fed vinegar soaked into hyssop, He came on "the fourth day" (a day to Our Father is as a thousand years. On the "fourth day" is when you brought The Passover Lamb in and is also the day of creation that Light came to the world🔥), Jesus, Our Passover Lamb came and "dwelt with us" just as The Passover Lamb was suppose to, He was perfect, without blemish, He was the firstborn Son of God, and He died in the shape of a cross, which is the ancient Hebrew letter (Tav), which represents covenant. Wow. And these are just a few of The Passover Scriptures that Yeshua, Jesus, Our Passover Lamb fulfilled for us! We can be safe in believing that Our Father and His Son have worked out everything... perfectly. Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King, has made a way for us to return to "right standing" with Our Father. A way for us to "Passover" from death to Life! This is indeed a reason to rejoice! Praise Him and Bless His Name Forever! It is easy to see, especially as we "dig deeper" into Scripture, that not only is Yeshua Our Savior, King, Redeemer, Confidant, Mediator, and Best Friend, but He Is also The Biblical Passover Lamb. Dig even deeper and we will find He Is: "The Passover... Everything." Cool Facts, Food For Thought, and Prayer As We Go Through The Week of Unleavened Bread and Head Towards "First Fruits" (aka "Resurrection Sunday"): Cool Fact: The Aramaic word for lamb is "talya" Talya can mean "lamb" or "servant." In Isaiah 53 we read about Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The "Suffering Servant." Isaiah 53 describes Our Savior as "a lamb led to the slaughter." Let's take a look: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.” Isaiah 53:5-7 Another witness to Isaiah 53:7 and Yeshua being The Passover Lamb: “Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.” I Corinthians 5:7 Food For Thought: The Bible calls Our Savior "The Lamb" no less than 34 times. The number of exact pictures between The Passover Lamb and Jesus is no less than spectacular. We can see if we look at them as a whole, that Our Father has been preparing "His Beloved" as Our Passover Sacrifice since the beginning of mankind. Our Savior and King said that He "came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45)." What are our thoughts about Our Father's Holy Feast of Passover? Are we willing to allow ourselves a deeper understanding of Our Savior's Mighty and Atoning Work? Can we allow His Atoning Work of: forgiveness, safety, wholeness, and acceptance, to help us experience our our freedom and help others today? Prayer: Dear Father, please remove the leaven (sin) we have missed. Give us a want to remove it all completely so we may be closer to you and understand more clearly the scope of what you have done for us. As we observe Your Holy Week where You gave The Ultimate Sacrifice once and For All... Yourself... We ask you to soften our hearts, help us to completely forgive our enemies as you have forgiven us, and become more humble and meek like Your Son, The King, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. It is in His Name, Our Passover Lamb's Name, we ask these things. Thank You, Bless You, we Love You. Amen! |
