Counting Down The Ten Commandments - Being Content With The Hand We Are Dealt - Command #1011/30/2019 Good Morning Sabbath...
Father, Your Commandments are a Lamp to our feet. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your Truth! Thank You for Your Great Love and Mercy. Thank You that You Wait For Us and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your Presence and Light. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen! Counting Down The Ten Commandments - Being Content With The Hand You Are Dealt - Command #10 Instruction: In many ways we can see coveting is a "root sin" or a sin that can be a doorway to other sins. If we ask the question: Why would anyone commit adultery? No doubt the answer would be that it is because that person has coveted their neighbor's wife. And if we ask the question: Why would anyone steal? The answer would be because that person has coveted their neighbor's "things" or possessions. Such "things" could be cars, houses, electronic gadgets, animals, and a myriad of other possessions. The draw or desire to "beautiful" or "attractive things" is an ever present temptation in our fallen world full of opportunistic advertising that seeks to profit on these desires of our hearts for monetary gain. One only needs to look at the advertiser satan in The Garden with Eve, or Abraham's neighbor and nephew Lot with Sodom in The Bible, and we find examples of our ancestors dealing with this same issue. Our ancestors failed in these instances, but Our Kind Father has given these examples to us in His Word, to help us to overcome these same desires, and to recognize these sins when they well up inside us. When we take notice of something our neighbor has or a cool new product advertised that we don't have, we should ask ourselves: Do we have to have it? The Giving of Thanks: The fact is, we wouldn't have the need or desire to covet these "things" if we learn how to put our trust and belief in Our Father and Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Our God has provided for us everything we need and He gives us an invitation to ask Him for the things we need, and to Trust Him to provide them, instead of coveting, from the world or our neighbor. Let us give God Our Father our thanks that He has given us Our Daily Bread in His Ever Merciful, Kind, Loving, and Bountiful Provision. Confession: For this, our confessions purposes, it is prudent to ask ourselves: How strong is our desire for "things?" Let us confess to Our Father any absence of trust in Him from which these desires might grow. Let us ask ourselves: Am I trusting that God will give me what I need? Am I filled with a desire for something my neighbor has? In The Word of God we see coveting being connected to idolatry (Ephesians 5:5). We can see where this is bringing us all the way back to the beginning of The Ten Commandments and our recent study of them. Let us now confess any idolatry, desires for things we don't need, or covetousness that may be infecting our walk with God and our lives. Let us take a final moment to confess any ways we may have "raised up" any material things above The One who was Raised Up For Us. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You are All-Efficient, All-Sufficient, and All-Powerful. We ask that you help us to bring our hearts to repentance and have our hearts covet after nothing except a closer walk with Thee. You Alone are to be The Ruler of Our Hearts and Desires. Help us to know and act in accordance with the fact that You Alone are to be our desire, and that nothing in heaven or on earth can compare. Please make this true in our lives Abba (Father). You are our King. We Love You, We Thank You, We Praise You, and in Our Savior's Mighty Name, whom You Sent for us, we fervently pray. Amen.

Good Morning Friday......
Father thank you for this NEW DAY! As we rise to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, let us SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. Thank you to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today's devotion/study. Had a conversation with a couple of Brothers and Sisters this week about Spirit, then received this devotion. Thought it would be good to share as it is very insightful. God Bless everybody. - Digging Deeper: Spirit (21) From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. (22) Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!" (23) But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Matthew 16:21-23 Like Peter, we could be motivated to believe or disbelieve something, accept or reject something, say something or keep silent, depending on the circumstance. Additionally, we may have no reaction at all at the moment of communication, but the thought is stored and available for later use or supplementation. It is entirely possible for a person to go through his entire life as a pawn of Satan and never know it. This situation reflects a usage of what the Bible's writers term "spirit." Spirit is the English translation of the Hebrew ruach (Strong's #7304), in the Old Testament and the Greek pneuma (Strong's #5141) in the New. It can literally mean "a current of air," "breath," "blast," or "breeze." However, when used figuratively, it indicates "vital principle," "disposition," "the rational soul," etc., or an invisible super-being such as God, Christ, an angel, or a demon. Whether used literally, as with "wind" or "breath," or figuratively, as indicating God, angel, or demon, it describes something that is invisible and immaterial and at the same time powerful, even a thing of considerable power. The foremost elements of spirit, then, are invisibility, immateriality, and power. E.W. Bullinger remarks in Appendix 9 of the Companion Bible: The meaning of the word is to be deduced only from its usage. The one root idea running through all of the passages is invisible force. . . . [I]n whatever sense it is used, [it] always represents that which is invisible except by its manifestations. He also shows that ruach is used in nine different ways in the Old Testament, while pneuma is used fourteen different ways in the New Testament. In John 6:63, Jesus says, "It is the Spirit [which] gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." Here is a clear example of the figurative use of "spirit." Words are the symbols used for communication; they are received into our minds through sight, as when reading, or sound, as when hearing. But once in the mind, nothing material is packed into our brain. Words - and thus the concepts they carry with them - are spirit because they are immaterial, invisible, and of considerable power, depending on how we use them. Thus, we can receive "spirit" in the form of words or concepts from a spirit being. In this case, it is in reality "thought transference" because no sound is heard through our ears. Just because one is close to Christ does not eliminate the prospect that a demon will communicate with and through him. As seen in Matthew 16:22-23, Peter did the speaking, but Jesus spoke directly to Satan, naming him as the source of Peter's outburst against God's will that Jesus should suffer and die. Without Peter's recognizing it, he permitted himself to be a conduit for Satan's will. The disciple's "good" intention was against God's will, and Jesus thus judged it to be evil. Good Morning Thursday...
Thank You Abba (Father) for blessing us with another day to give You praise. Thank You for all that You do for each and every one of us. Abba, thank You for the time we get to spend with our family and friends, not just today, but every day. We pray for safe travels for everyone on the roads today. We pray for healing, comfort, love, and peace for all. We ask these things with Your blessing Father, Yahweh Our Elohim (God), in Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ’s Name...thank You!! Thank you to Brother Daniel B. for today’s intro. Bless you Brother! - Giving Thanks On Thanksgiving Way back in The Garden of Eden, before our ancestors Adam and Eve fell, we were in full unity with Our Father. Before the fall, we stood in confidence before God, with full affection towards Him, and we were perfectly satisfied. After the sin of eating the forbidden fruit, something changed. No longer were Our Fathers Commands "enough" for us. The ancient Hebrew Scriptures use a word that describes us as "out of chord" with The One True and Living God. We were no longer in perfect harmony with God Our Father. Now we seem to bend and seek harmony with "the world," needing its affirmation and acceptance. Here is how Our Father had Paul make the statement about those now without Christ: “a warped and crooked generation.” Philippians 2:15 Crooked. Warped. This is how we are now described, before we come to knowledge of Our Savior and King, and have our lives changed. So, what is the cure? Philippians 2 goes on to explain that we should be "blameless and pure," other translations explain it as "without blemish." Our Father Goes On In His Word To Explain to "Do everything without grumbling or arguing." Stated another way, we should be thankful. This thankfulness and thanksgiving causes us to "shine like stars in the sky." We shine when we have Our Father and His Word, even when we are among a "warped and crooked generation." Our world has unfortunately slipped into a the trap of entitlement and because of this, most seem to always be discontent. Our world has become like our ancestors, having thoughts that we "deserve" to be gods. Because of this “worldly” attitude, we are always trying to decide our own fate, be our own leaders, and are never satisfied. The world sees those that stand in their way, of controlling their own fate, as enemies. Those “in the world,” and most of us before we have the revelation of Christ, want it all. What is the product of this entitlement and god-complex? Discontent and pride. When anyone is chasing the myths and fairytales of this world, it undoubtedly tends to leave us swimming in pride and chasing things that aren't, most of the time, even a reality to acquire. Thanksgiving is a large part of our lives as believers. If we are struggling with trials, sin, or temptation in this life, it may be a worship or thanksgiving problem. If we succumb to the temptations of this world it will only lead us to self worship, worship of someone, or worship of something other than Our Father. Thankfulness takes our focus off of our perceived needs and places our focus on Our Father and King. Our thanksgiving to God Our Father cleanses us, refocuses us, and brings us His Peace. May we all make it a point on this day to be thankful. Wherever we may be, whatever we may be doing, if we are Thankful and giving Thanksgiving to Our God, Father, and Savior... we will be able to see our blessings rather than just ourselves. *An interesting note: Do you know how Thanksgiving was started? Sukkot or The Feast of Tabernacles. When the first settlers came over they all still celebrated Our Father's Holy Feast. When it came time to "break bread" with the natives they wanted to honor Our Father's Holy Days and show the natives how believers in The One True and Living God celebrated. It makes perfect sense because what is Sukkot all about?... Thanksgiving. So from that day forward Thanksgiving was established. May we all remember Our Father and Savior on this memorial day and most of all remember to... Give Thanks On Thanksgiving. God Bless my Brothers and Sisters In Yeshua. Praying each and every one of you on the other side of this screen has a wonderful, joyous, and God-Blessed Thanksgiving. Shalom! The Thanksgiving Word Of The One True and Living God, El Shaddai (God Almighty), aka Turkey and Living Bread For The Soul: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Psalms 100:4 “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to The Word of Life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.” Philippians 2:12-18 “The Lord (YHWH,Yahweh) is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him.” Psalm 28:7 “I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.” Psalms 9:1 Good Morning Wednesday.......
Father, thank You for this NEW day. We ask that you OPEN our HEARTS and MINDS to Your Word and implant in us Your Goodness. As we walk with You today, gently remind us of Your Presence in our lives. Please watch over our loved ones, Your People Israel, and TRANSFORM our lives TODAY! In Your Son and Our Mighty Savior’s Name, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen A big thank you to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. - By Faith We Understand “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by The Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:3 We need to understand three words here. The first is "worlds," which is the Greek aion meaning "ages," "periods of time," or "dispensations." The author is not referring at all to the created world—the earth. He means periods of time. The second word is "framed," which gives the impression of a person building something, but that is not the author's intent. The same word appears in Hebrews 10:5, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared." This translation points to a different connotation. The third word is "word." Normally, a Bible student would probably immediately think of logos as being the Greek for "word," but such is not the case here. It is instead the Greek word rhema, which means "the revealed word." A good paraphrase of verse 3, then, would be: "By faith we understand that the ages were prepared by the revealed word of God." This verse is telling us that there is an unseen hand somewhere that is guiding the course of the periods through which mankind has lived! In other words, God is working out a purpose! People with faith look to the purpose He is working out and what He has revealed, and they see His hand guiding the destiny of nations as well as individuals. This is an interesting, encouraging, faith-building concept because God is never far from the thoughts of a faithful person. Such a person, because he has had the mystery of God revealed to him—the purpose He is working out—begins to see God in everything that is happening because God is his companion. He has a relationship with Him. Because of his fellowship with God, he tries to see everything through God's eyes, as it were. When God calls, one of the miracles He works in us by His Spirit gives us insight into His movements in the history of man. The Christian begins to see God in his environment, the earth—and discovers that it is all under God's control. We can see where God says, "I raise up kings. I put down kings." Sometimes these are "the basest of men," but because we are beginning to think like God, we understand why He does such things. In Romans 13:1-2, we find out that all governments are ordained of God. He at least permits them to govern, and sometimes He directly installs them. God is guiding and controlling events. Men think they are in control of what is happening, and some even think Satan is in control. No, God is in control. He is working out a purpose, and Satan is subject to Him and can only do what He allows him to do. The psalmist says that God is not in all of the ungodly man's thoughts (Psalm 10:4). Andre Maurois, a French philosopher and writer, once said, "The universe is indifferent. Who created it? Why are we here on this puny mud heap, spinning in an infinite space? I have not the slightest idea, and I am quite convinced that no one has the least idea." This is the way man looks at things, but Christians had better not look at them like this because they will not operate by faith. If we are operating by faith, we can begin to see events and circumstances in their fuller scope, as well as how they fit and how important they are to the purpose God is working out. God Bless everybody and have a Wonderful Faith-Filled Day! Good Morning Tuesday....
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY! Today,“(we will) trust in You Father with all (our) hearts and lean not on (our) own understanding; in all (our) ways (we will) acknowledge (You), and (You) shall direct (our) paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). May we choose to follow our faith today! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen! - The Mystery - The Word - The Walk We have all probably tried to solve a mystery before. Maybe it was a real life mystery and maybe it was a fictional one, regardless, they are a lot of fun. Some of the best "who dun it" films and stories have amazing twists and turns that leave us surprised, shocked, mouths open, and wanting more. Well, some years back I found the best mystery book in the history of mankind, The Bible. Our Father's Story in The Bible is the greatest mystery ever. It gives a series of amazing clues and reveals the greatest mystery of all time. At first read, The Bible can be kind of tough "to get," but when we learn that there are no coincidences, and that nothing is random with Our Father, it begins to get easier. You begin to find clues. That’s when “our hearts begin to burn within us,” we “break bread”, and we “eat.” God's Clues are so wise, purposeful, and perfectly presented it isn't difficult to realize they are from The Creator Of All Things. Neither men, nor angels, nor any other creature could put so much together, so perfectly, and without contradiction, past, present, or future...ever. Our Father's Word, Yeshua, Is Also His Miracle... And His Covenant. 🔥 When we begin The Bible at Genesis and read until Malachi, often called The Old Testament, we see God using men and women, real people, to tell who Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ, would be. These texts were written, some thousands of years and some hundreds of years before Christ was even born! As we search out the lives of the men and women in The Beginning of God's Word, we can find something Divinely Awesome. Clues. Clues that show up in each and every character, as well as clues in each and every thing, like The Tent of Meeting. Our Father built a masterpiece with clues abounding and all leading to The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords. These clues tell us what Our Savior would look like, what He would do, when He would come, when we should watch for Him, when He would leave, and when He would come back. We are told to “watch,” keep your eyes open, and to keep ourselves clean. The King Is On His Way! In case someone reading this isn't aware, the story of Our Messiah starts in Genesis. Some would argue we don't know Christ's Name until Gabriel pays a visit to Mary, but in fact, His Name,Yeshua, or the literal transliteration, Salvation, is all over the beginning of The Bible. To be clear, everything in God's Word, The Bible, and the history of the world, like a laser pointer, all lead straight to Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. The cool thing... Our Savior Points Right Back At Our Father. Talk about having a Perfect Witness. Right? While each and every one of us today know that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is what all the clues from Our Father were for, it doesn't stop there. Our Father Gives Us Clues Now Also... For The Future... For Today... And For When Our King Comes Back. Our Father's Word and Our Savior Continue to reveal Himself, and the mystery continues. Awesome right? With God's Word there is ALWAYS More. We still have so much to discover, so much more to praise, and best of all, so much more to Love. Remember, The Mystery Continues. Our King Is Coming Back! As we conclude today, let's take a look at a scripture favorite. Here is a prime example of God's Word, aka Jesus Christ, revealing His Mysteries and Himself to a couple of His Friends when He took a long walk to Emmaus with them. Our Messiah was literally unfolding The Mystery Of The Word Of God on this walk, and showing... He Is The Word Of God and He Is Salvation. ⚔️🙌🔥 The Mystery Of The Word Of God Being Revealed To His Friends: “Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.” Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them. Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight. And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.” Luke 24:13-35 Good Morning Monday.......
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Please help us today to bring glory to YOUR NAME. Help us to understand YOUR WILL. Help us to understand YOUR SON and OUR CALLING. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. - Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Be Afraid Or Worry We all need to be strengthened and encouraged at times. We all need to be lifted and prayed for at times. Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King, prayed for us, and He told us to pray for one another. Why you may ask? Because we all need to be lifted up sometimes and put back on the right path. There are times when we all must repent, seek Our Father’s Face, and realign ourselves with His Calling. Through all the distractions, disappointments, persecution, and battles we face, undoubtedly at some point, we will grow weary, depressed, anxious, fearful, or doubtful. This is precisely when we must turn to The Mighty Word of Our God and Father, Yahweh. Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our King and Savior is The Word of Yahweh and He Is... A Mighty Warrior. He commands an army of angels, and of men. None of which He needs, but it is His pleasure to mold us into something greater than we are now, something more like Him. My apologies for anyone who cannot view this video from their phone, but I encourage you to find somewhere you can watch it and really look at what Our Father is telling us in His Word. May we all be encouraged in God Almighty’s Word. The Word of God has all the answers. The Word of God is our Salvation. The Word of God is unfailing. He tells us in no uncertain terms, and repeatedly... Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Be Afraid Or Worry: https://youtu.be/Ro7r7bel1UM Prayer: Father God, we pray today that you lift up all those in need, those who are discouraged, the sick, the poor, every widow, every orphan, and everyone one of the Brothers and Sisters reading this today who may be struggling with a battle that seems insurmountable. Help us to repent, turn from our evil ways, pray for one another, seek Your Face, Your Word, and LIVE. Bless Your Holy Name forever and ever. Strengthen us LORD Of All and help make us Mighty Warriors, Like You. In Your Precious and Mighty Son’s Name, Our King and Our Salvation’s Name, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, we pray to you. Amen. Good Morning Sunday.......
Dear Father, thank You for this NEW day. Guide us as we make this day's JOURNEY. Lift us as we fall. Show us Your LOVE, and HELP us to show Your Love to others. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we PRAY. Amen. A big thank you to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. - Our Father’s Spirit Ties It All Together (2) elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied. 1Peter 1:2 Peter's words are intended, not merely to instruct, but also to encourage. We listen to God's Word because God Almighty Himself personally chose us to do so. That needs to sink into our brains and become part of how we operate our lives. We are the chosen of God, elect according to His foreknowledge. That is, before we ever knew of the true God, He was watching us. He was monitoring us and waiting for the opportunity that, at just the right time, He would reveal Himself to us in just the right circumstance, just the right environment to give us the best opportunity to respond to the truth. We can expand this process out to include the whole church. The church exists because God willed it so. The church does not exist because of human goodness, hopes, aspirations, vision, or dreams. It exists because of the eternal purpose of God, which is both a tremendous honor and responsibility. God, working through His Spirit (notice, "in sanctification of the Spirit"), sets us apart, consecrates us, or makes us fit for His calling. God is a creator. That fact is what Peter explains here. His calling is the first step to prepare us to inherit His Kingdom. We should not limit the calling just to the initial time that He entered our lives, and we began to understand. His calling ultimately includes the whole process. Peter states the goal He has in mind as "obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ." It is the Spirit of God that makes the calling of God effective. It is a singular act, but at some time in our lives, He "messed with" our brain—He turned the light on—and we began to respond. He did this as a singular act at a specific time, but His calling is also a process that begins with that initial act and ends with resurrection into His Family. The sanctification of the Spirit of God ties all of it together. The initial act by God opens our mind, which is the beginning of sanctification. It is like being given a second start, which Paul calls "regeneration" (Titus 3:5). Then comes the sanctification that arises with growth, overcoming, and becoming more like God. Finally, there is glorification, which is the ultimate in sanctification. The whole process is encompassed by the calling of God, and the Spirit of God ties all of these steps together. Good Morning Sabbath.......
Father thank You for this NEW day. We ask that you OPEN our HEARTS and MINDS to YOUR infinite GRACE, WISDOM, and PEACE, so WE may SERVE You in the manner most PLEASING to YOU. In Your Mighty Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's name we pray. Amen. - BELIEVE In The Word (Faith) Our Father has an unbelievable and wonderful customized plan for each and every one of us. We are created in His Image, so of course He has a wonderful plan for us. We are children of The Covenant, the elect. The key to this wonderful plan is Belief. The problem is this: Along this crazy path we call life, sometimes we begin to believe the lies of the enemy instead of Our Heavenly Father. The enemy will lie to us about anything and everything to get us "off track" and away from Our Father’s Plan for our lives. The enemy will use whatever he can including, but not limited to: image, status, career, family, friends, living situation, our abilities, the future, the present, and the past. The enemy in fact will use anything he can to manipulate, darken, distort, and damage the lens we see through, and his influence is trying to lead us in a place that does not reflect the Light and Truth of Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ The King. When we study The Word of God we have the ultimate weapon to spot the enemies lies. By revelation and Believing God's Word it is easy to not believe "the other guy," and we spot his tricks and lies quickly. When we allow Our Father's Word and plan for our lives to soak deep in our beliefs, we are always in a better place. We must let God's Word take precedent over all, no one and no thing can lead us safely to where Our Father is leading us... Only His Word. Belief and Faith, this is what we as believers must go by, not feelings or sight. We must trust in His Word with all we have and BELIEVE what Our Father tells is in His Word. His Word is True in everything concerning our lives, and God's Plan for our lives is True. Feeling insecure? Munch on some Living Bread, The Word of God, and you can be cured of that. Feeling angry and discontent? The cure? You got it, drink some Living Water, The Word of God. If we merely declare God Almighty’s Word concerning our lives and BELIEVE, the "fiery darts" from the enemy will never prevail against us. May we all today declare what God Our Father’s Word says about us, God's Plan for our lives, and say it out loud for the lying, deceptive enemy to hear. May none of us take any other suggestion other than The Creator of The Whole World's. Finally, may we all be greatly encouraged today knowing God Our Father ALWAYS comes through in His Word, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior.... HalleluYah! God Bless Everybody and may each and everyone of you be filled with The Peace of Our Father In Heaven on this, His Wonderful Day for us. Our Living Bread and Water aka The Word of God: “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” Psalms 139:14 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Ephesians 6:16 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 Good Morning Friday.......
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE. Father we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. - The Choice Is Ours There are some conversations that we may not like to have. It can be pretty uncomfortable for us to talk about a subject like hell with someone. If you ask the world at large, they may even tell you how foolish the concept of a hell is, and then proceed to tell you that a "Loving God" wouldn't send people to hell. They may go on to explain that they put their faith in "science" and "logic." These people of the world haven't read The Bible. If they have... they didn't "hear" it. “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty” I Corinthians 1:27 The explanation of hell though isn't just doctrine. Do you know who spoke about our English translation of “hell” more than any other person in The Bible? None other than The Word of God Himself, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Not Paul, not Peter, not John either, but The King...God. “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4 Make no mistakes, Jesus speaking, about what we call “hell,” was and is about Love. The world at large may try to "logic" or "science " away The Truth, but The Truth Lives, and He Lives Forever. 🔥 Hell, Hades, or Sheol may be real, but Our Loving Father's gift of choice is real as well. Our Father, kind and loving, leaves us choices to make. He calls us closer to Him so that we may know True Love. He invites and urges us to Love Him. He even submitted Himself to a fallen world and allowed abuses to be heaped upon Him, which He did not have to allow, because He Loved Us First. We should have no doubt that He allowed these things to happen because He Loved us first, and... He desires for us to Love Him back. I have learned that God Our Father never forces us to Love Him or do good, but we can find a “cloud of witnesses” in His Word of how He longs for us to Love Him and Do Good . If He forced us, if we didn’t have a choice, it wouldn't be True Love. In Scripture, Our Father goes above and beyond, from Genesis to Revelation, to show us how much He Loves Us. I am here to tell you, I can be a witness, His Love Is True. Our Father and Our Savior lay out the benefits, shows us He Is True To His Word, explains all His Promises, and then in a very concise manner communicates the choice, and the consequences involved. Our God and Father Gives Us All These Things and then... The Choice Is Ours. The Instructions of God Almighty or the gods of this world? The Everlasting Word of El Shaddai (God Almighty): “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God, but turn aside from The Way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.” Deuteronomy 11:26-28 “Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ “For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as The LORD (YHWH,Yahweh) our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?” Deuteronomy 4:6-8 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:15-18 “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:19 “Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” Matthew 11:11 “At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.” Matthew 18:1-5 “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1 Good Morning Thursday...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen! - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Haggai) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated, and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible and find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word.🔥 Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages, over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what?! Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God ( The Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Haggai, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior, were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Haggai, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, and Love for Your Children. We thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Haggai, A Prophet of God Almighty, Yahweh, and The Savior of The World, Yeshua Jesus Christ: “Then the word of The LORD (YHWH,Yahweh) came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “ Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses, and this temple to lie in ruins?” Now therefore, thus says The LORD (YHWH) of hosts: “Consider your ways! “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” Haggai 1:3-6 NKJV “Thus says Yahweh of hosts: ‘Consider your ways!” Haggai 1:7 LEB “Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed The Lord (Yahweh) their God’s voice, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as The Lord (Yahweh) their God, had sent him; and the people feared The Lord (Yahweh). Then Haggai, The Lord’s (Yahweh’s) messenger, spoke The Lord’s (Yahweh’s) message to the people, saying, “I Am with you,” says The Lord (Yahweh).” Haggai 1:12-13 WMB “Who is left among you who saw this house in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Is not this in your sight as nothing in comparison to that? Yet now be strong, alert, and courageous, O Zerubbabel, says the Lord; be strong, alert, and courageous, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, alert, and courageous, all you people of the land, says The Lord (YHWH), and work! For I am with you, says The Lord (YHWH) of hosts. According to the promise that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit stands and abides in the midst of you; fear not.” Haggai 2:3-5 AMPC “For this is what Yahweh of Armies says: ‘Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; and I will shake all nations. The precious things of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Armies. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Yahweh of Armies. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says Yahweh of Armies; ‘and in this place will I give peace,’ says Yahweh of Armies.” Haggai 2:6-9 WEB “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says. Ask the priests this question about the law: ‘If one of you is carrying some meat from a holy sacrifice in his robes and his robe happens to brush against some bread or stew, wine or olive oil, or any other kind of food, will it also become holy?’” The priests replied, “No.” Then Haggai asked, “If someone becomes ceremonially unclean by touching a dead person and then touches any of these foods, will the food be defiled?” And the priests answered, “Yes.” Then Haggai responded, “That is how it is with this people and this nation, says the Lord. Everything they do and everything they offer is defiled by their sin.” Haggai 2:11-14 NLT “Then Haggai said, “ ‘So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,’ declares The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh). ‘Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled. “ ‘Now give careful thought to this from this day on —consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in The Lord’s (YHWH’s) temple. When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty. I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not return to me,’ declares The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh).” Haggai 2:14-17 NIV “there’s no longer any seed in the barn, is there? and the vine, fig tree, pomegranate tree and olive tree have produced nothing yet, right? However, from this day on, I will bless you.” Haggai 2:19 CJB |
