Good Morning Friday.......
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE. Father we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. - The Choice Is Ours There are some conversations that we may not like to have. It can be pretty uncomfortable for us to talk about hell with someone. If you ask the world at large, they may even tell you how foolish the concept of hell is and then proceed to tell you that a "Loving God" wouldn't send people to hell. They may go on to explain that they put their faith in "science" and "logic." These people of the world haven't read The Bible. If they have... they didn't "hear" it. “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;” I Corinthians 1:27 The explanation of hell though isn't just doctrine. Do you know who spoke about hell more than any other person in The Bible? None other than The Word of God Himself, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Not Paul, not Peter, not John either, but The King...God. “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”” Matthew 4:4 Make no mistakes, Jesus speaking about hell was and is about Love. The world at large may try to "logic" or "science " away The Truth, but The Truth Lives, and He Lives Forever. 🔥 Hell may be real, but Our Loving Father's Gift of choice is real as well. Our Kind and Loving God Leaves Us A Choice. He calls us closer to Him so that we may know True Love. He invites and urges us to Love Him. He Even Submitted Himself To A Fallen World That He Did Not Have To Because He Loved Us First... And He Wants Us To Love Him. I have learned that Our Father and God never forces us to Love Him or do good, but we read in His Word how He Longs For It. If He forced us, it wouldn't be True Love. And I am here to tell you, I can be a witness... His Love Is True. Our Father and Our Savior Lay Out The Benefits, Shows Us He Is True To His Word, Explains All His Promises, and Then In A Very Concise Manor Communicates The Consequences. Our God and Father Gives Us All These Things and then... The Choice Is Ours The Instructions of God Almighty or the gods of this world? ““Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.” Deuteronomy 11:26-28 “Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ “For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?” Deuteronomy 4:6-8

Good Morning Thursday.......
Father thank You for this NEW day. As You walk with us today, keep us focused on Your TRUTHS, and continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your PEACE. Use us to share Your Unending Bin of Flour and Jar of Oil with those in need. We ask this in Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. - The Word Of God - The Unending Bin Of Flour And Jar Of Oil We believers have such a Wonderful Gift in The Word of God. Our Savior spoke about food His disciples did not know about yet. He told all at The Great Festival, "if anyone thirsts, come to me and drink." Our God, Our Savior, The Word of God, was pointing us in a direction with these words, and in fact were pointing us in the same direction with All Of His Words...in His Word. We have in Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The Word Of God, An Unending Bin of Flour and Jar of Oil. We have a Well to drink from in which, if we drink, we will never be thirsty again. We have The Bringer Of Rain, The River Of Life, And The Manna That Came Down From Heaven In Our Hearts and Minds. We have an Almighty God Who Loves Us and Can Supply All Our Needs. This is why we worship, praise, and cry out blessings to His Name. He Is A Mighty God... and He Knows Just What We Need to Live, and to Live More Abundantly. With this Ultimate Resource That God Has Given Us We Are Renewed and our Light has been turned on. What Light you may ask? The Light of God. Our Savior is aptly named The Light of The World. Once He, Yeshua, is "turned on" inside of us we are to shine to the whole world. As we take a look in 1Kings 17 today and read about Elijah letting the Light of God Shine, may we all think about what he is doing. He is sharing The Word of God. He is letting God use him to bring Hope to a widow and an orphan. Elijah knows The Unending Bin of Flour, The River of Life, The Oil of Joy, and he is sharing it with the downtrodden, hurting, and hungry. There are many in our world that are hurting, sick, hungry, parched, imprisoned and they have never been introduced properly to The One True And Living God. Maybe you know someone in this category. If so, why not share the Unending Bin Of Flour and Jar of Oil With Them? The Word of God Is Powerful, it changes lives, and it saves. Elijah was just a man, but he knew he worked for An Almighty God. We all have the opportunity to be an Elijah somewhere and to someone. Take an extra look today as you go through your day and see if you can spot someone who looks "thirsty." If you do, give em a Drink. Remember this short piece of Scripture and try your best to be a bringer of Hope as Elijah was. All it really takes is sharing The Word Of God - The Unending Bin of Flour and Jar of Oil. Water, Bread, Life, Salvation, and Love aka The Word of God aka The Unending Bin of Flour and Jar of Oil. “And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “ As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.” Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.” And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.” So she said, “As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.” And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth.’ ” So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke by Elijah.” I Kings 17:1-16 A big thank you to Sister April James for inspiring today's devotion. Thank you for sharing The Word of God, The Unending Bin of Flour and Jar of Oil, with all those you meet. Good Morning Wednesday......
Father thank you for this NEW DAY! As we rise to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, let us SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. - Spirit Had a conversation with a couple of Brothers and Sisters this week about Spirit, then received this devotion. Thought it would be good to share as it is very insightful. God Bless everybody. Matthew 16:21-23 (21) From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. (22) Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!" (23) But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Like Peter, we could be motivated to believe or disbelieve something, accept or reject something, say something or keep silent, depending on the circumstance. Additionally, we may have no reaction at all at the moment of communication, but the thought is stored and available for later use or supplementation. It is entirely possible for a person to go through his entire life as a pawn of Satan and never know it. This situation reflects a usage of what the Bible's writers term "spirit." Spirit is the English translation of the Hebrew ruach (Strong's #7304), in the Old Testament and the Greek pneuma (Strong's #5141) in the New. It can literally mean "a current of air," "breath," "blast," or "breeze." However, when used figuratively, it indicates "vital principle," "disposition," "the rational soul," etc., or an invisible super-being such as God, Christ, an angel, or a demon. Whether used literally, as with "wind" or "breath," or figuratively, as indicating God, angel, or demon, it describes something that is invisible and immaterial and at the same time powerful, even a thing of considerable power. The foremost elements of spirit, then, are invisibility, immateriality, and power. E.W. Bullinger remarks in Appendix 9 of the Companion Bible: The meaning of the word is to be deduced only from its usage. The one root idea running through all of the passages is invisible force. . . . [I]n whatever sense it is used, [it] always represents that which is invisible except by its manifestations. He also shows that ruach is used in nine different ways in the Old Testament, while pneuma is used fourteen different ways in the New Testament. In John 6:63, Jesus says, "It is the Spirit [which] gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." Here is a clear example of the figurative use of "spirit." Words are the symbols used for communication; they are received into our minds through sight, as when reading, or sound, as when hearing. But once in the mind, nothing material is packed into our brain. Words - and thus the concepts they carry with them - are spirit because they are immaterial, invisible, and of considerable power, depending on how we use them. Thus, we can receive "spirit" in the form of words or concepts from a spirit being. In this case, it is in reality "thought transference" because no sound is heard through our ears. Just because one is close to Christ does not eliminate the prospect that a demon will communicate with and through him. As seen in Matthew 16:22-23, Peter did the speaking, but Jesus spoke directly to Satan, naming him as the source of Peter's outburst against God's will that Jesus should suffer and die. Without Peter's recognizing it, he permitted himself to be a conduit for Satan's will. The disciple's "good" intention was against God's will, and Jesus thus judged it to be evil. Thank you to Brother John W. Ritenbaugh and berean.org for today's devotion/study. Good morning Tuesday.......
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY! Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your Truth! Thank You for your Great Love and Mercy, thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your Presence and Light. - There Is One... In this world there is one thing that is a guarantee. People are going to disappoint you. Friends will let you down, no matter how close you think you are to them, family will turn away, even when you think your family never would, and many will not follow through when they say they will do something. You are going to hear the words, "you can count on me" and "I promise I will never leave you," but almost without fail, they will do just that. Your significant other, friends, family, associates, and co-workers most certainly mean well and intend to keep their promises, but human failure is not something new. It began in the Garden of Eden and it still remains today. As we grow up, we get disappointed by people, then upset, then a little depressed, then mad. This cycle continues until we learn the lesson that we are a fallen species and there is only One to depend on. Now, it is possible for someone to never disappoint you, but definitely not probable. Some of us do have those in our lives that are completely dependable and trustworthy, but it is prudent to know, even they may disappoint you. Be prepared for this, because before this life is over undoubtedly someone you thought would never disappoint you, will. In a world full of disappointments, as believers, we have an unmatchable gift in Our God and Savior. Once we come to The Faith, we finally find One Who Will Never Disappoint and Will Never Leave Us. We have a Tower of Strength, A Rock, A Strong Foundation, and A Mighty Warrior In God Our Father and Our LORD and Savior Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ The King. Are you having a tough time? Going through relationship problems? Maybe you have been disappointed by someone close to you, or maybe you have even disappointed yourself? Whatever the disappointment may be, know this: Yeshua, Jesus Christ Will Never Fail You. You might think He has and you may think He isn't there when you need him, but that is just us as humans not "seeing the big picture." If you are going through a tough time, if you have been dissatisfied by a friend, family member, spouse, or another, just remember, we are all imperfect humans. We have all made mistakes and fall short of the Glory of God. If we think back throughout our lives, most definitely we will find a time when we have severely disappointed someone and this should help all of us forgive others. Forgiving heals us, cleanses us, frees up "the weight of the world" on us, and helps us move forward in a fallen world. If you are having a tough time, whatever the reason may be, take heart in knowing no matter how you feel or see things at the moment... Our Father and Savior Are Doing Something Amazing. This quote has shown up in more than one place and has shown up repeatedly over the last few weeks and it is 100% True. "When you are down to nothing, God Is Up To Something." Hold on to that because this thought, belief, or faith literally has the power to "lift you out of the pit." No matter how bad things seem at the moment we can all rest assure that God Is Faithful even when people are not. When it seems that no one understands, no one keeps their word, no one follows through, and no one is completely trustworthy, remember... There Is One. Seek Him Today And Be Renewed! Encouragement For The Disappointed, Food For The Hungry, Fuel For The Soul, and Water For The Thirsty... aka The Infallible Word of God... aka The One Who Will Never Disappoint: “The Lord your God is with you, THE MIGHTY WARRIOR WHO SAVES. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 “For You have been a shelter for me, A STRONG TOWER from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah For You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.” Psalms 61:3-5 “The name of THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER; The righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10 ““The LORD lives! Blessed be MY ROCK! Let God be exalted, THE ROCK OF MY SALVATION! It is God who avenges me, And subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.” II Samuel 22:47-50 “Nevertheless THE SOLID FOUNDATION OF GOD, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”” II Timothy 2:19 “For NO OTHER FOUNDATION can anyone lay THAN that which is laid, which is JESUS CHRIST.” I Corinthians 3:11 “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid THE FOUNDATION ON THE ROCK. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was FOUNDED ON THE ROCK. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:47-49 “JUDGE NOT, and you shall NOT be JUDGED. CONDEMN NOT, and you shall NOT be CONDEMNED. FORGIVE, and you will BE FORGIVEN.” Luke 6:37 Good Morning Monday....
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY! Today,“(we will) trust in You Father with all (our) hearts and lean not on (our) own understanding; in all (our) ways (we will) acknowledge (You), and (You) shall direct (our) paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). May we choose to follow our faith today! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen! - The Mystery - The Word We have all probably tried to solve a mystery before. Maybe it was a real life mystery and maybe it was a fictional one, regardless, they are a lot of fun. Some of the best "who dun it" films and stories have amazing twists and turns that leave us surprised, shocked, mouths open, and wanting more. Well, some years back I found the best mystery book in the history of mankind, The Bible. God's Story in The Bible is the greatest mystery ever. It gives a series of amazing clues and reveals the greatest mystery of all time. At first read, The Bible can be kind of tough "to get," but when we learn that there are no coincidences and that nothing is random with Our Father, it begins to get easier. You begin to find clues. God's Clues are so wise, purposeful, and perfectly presented it isn't difficult to realize they are from The Creator Of All Things. Neither men, nor angels, nor any other creature could put so much together, so perfectly, and without contradicting themselves past, present, or future...ever. God's Word Is Also His Miracle. When we begin The Bible at Genesis and read until Malachi, often called The Old Testament, we see God using men and women, real people, to tell who Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ would be. These texts were written, some thousands of years and some hundreds of years before Christ was even born! As we search out the lives of the men and women in The Beginning of God's Word, we can find something Divinely Awesome. Clues. Clues that show up in each and every character, as well as clues in each and every thing, like The Tent of Meeting. Our Father built a masterpiece with clues abounding and all leading to The King of Kings and The Lord of Lords. These clues tell us what Our Savior would look like, what He would do, when He would come, when we should watch for Him, when He would leave, and when He would come back. We are told to watch, keep your eyes open, and to keep ourselves clean. The King Is On His Way! In case someone reading this isn't aware, the story of Our Messiah starts in Genesis. Some would argue we don't know Christ's Name until Gabriel pays a visit to Mary, but in fact His Name,Yeshua, or the literal transliteration, Salvation, is all over the beginning of The Bible. To be clear, everything in God's Word, The Bible, and the history of the world, like a laser pointer, all lead straight to Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. The cool thing... Our Savior Points Right Back At Our Father. Talk about having a Perfect Witness. Right? While each and every one of us today know that Yeshua, Jesus Christ is what all the clues from Our Father were for, it doesn't stop there. Our Father Gives Us Clues Now Also... For The Future... For Today... And For When Our King Comes Back. Our Father's Word and Our Savior Continue to reveal Himself, and the mystery continues. Awesome right? With God's Word there is ALWAYS More. We still have so much to discover, so much more to praise, and best of all, so much more to Love. Remember, The Mystery Continues. Our King Is Coming Back! As we conclude today, let's take a look at a scripture favorite. Here is a prime example of God's Word, aka Jesus Christ, revealing His Mysteries and Himself to a couple of His Friends when He took a long walk to Emmaus with them. Our Messiah was literally unfolding The Mystery Of The Word Of God on this walk, and showing... He Is The Word Of God. 😎🙌🔥 The Mystery Of The Word Of God Being Revealed To His Friends: “Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. And they talked together of all these things which had happened. So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.” Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them. Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight. And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread.” Luke 24:13-35 Good Morning Sabbath.......
Father thank You for this NEW day. We ask that you OPEN our HEARTS and MINDS to YOUR infinite GRACE, WISDOM, and PEACE, so WE may SERVE You in the manner most PLEASING to YOU. In Your Mighty Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's name we pray. Amen - BELIEVE The Word (Faith) Our Father has an unbelievable and wonderful customized plan for each and every one of us. We are created in His Image, so of course He Has A Wonderful Plan For Us. We are children of The Covenant, the elect. The key to this wonderful plan is Belief. The problem is this: Along this crazy path we call life, sometimes we begin to believe the lies of the enemy instead of Our Heavenly Father. The enemy will lie to us about anything and everything to get us "off track" and away from God's Plan for our lives. The enemy will use whatever he can including, but not limited to: image, status, career, our abilities, the future, the present, and the past. The enemy in fact will use anything he can to manipulate, darken, distort, and damage the lens we see through, and his influence is trying to lead us in a place that does not reflect the Light and Truth of Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ The King. When we study The Word of God we have the ultimate weapon to spot the enemies lies. By revelation and Believing God's Word, it is easy to not believe "the other guy" and we spot his tricks and lies quickly. When we allow Our Father's Word and plan for our lives to soak deep in our beliefs, we are always in a better place. We must let God's Word take precedent over all, no one and no thing can lead us safely to where Our Father is leading us... Only His Word. Belief and Faith, this is what we as believers must go by, not feelings or sight. We must trust in His Word with all we have and BELIEVE what Our Father tells is in His Word. His Word is True in everything concerning our lives, and God's Plan for our lives is True. Feeling insecure? Munch on some Living Bread, The Word of God and you can be cured of that. Feeling angry and discontent? The cure? You got it, Drink some Living Water, The Word of God. If we merely declare God's Word concerning our lives and BELIEVE, the "fiery darts" from the enemy will never prevail against us. May we all today declare what God's Word says about us, God's Plan for our lives, and say it out loud for the lying, deceptive enemy to hear. May none of us take any other suggestion other than The Creator of The Whole World's. Finally, may we all be greatly encouraged today knowing God Our Father ALWAYS comes through in His Word, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior.... HalleluYah! God Bless Everybody and may each and everyone of you be filled with The Peace of God on this His Wonderful Day. Our Living Bread and Water aka The Word of God: “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” Psalms 139:14 ““Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” Ephesians 6:16 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 Good morning Friday...
Thank You Father for loving us so much and the blessing of this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay focused on Your Sustaining Grace TODAY! - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Joel) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible to find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally God Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word🔥. Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what? Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God (Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Joel, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Joel, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Left Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, and Love for Your Children. And we thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Joel The Prophet of God: “O LORD, to You I cry out; For fire has devoured the open pastures, And a flame has burned all the trees of the field. The beasts of the field also cry out to You, For the water brooks are dried up, And fire has devoured the open pastures.” Joel 1:19-20 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand: A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them, Even for many successive generations. A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them.” Joel 2:1-3 ““And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.” Joel 2:28-31 “And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.” Joel 2:32 ““For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.” Joel 3:1-2 ““Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow— For their wickedness is great.”” Joel 3:12-13 “The LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the LORD will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel.” Joel 3:16 “But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem for all generations. I will cleanse their bloodguilt that I did not cleanse, for Yahweh is dwelling in Zion.” Joel 3:20-21 Good morning Thursday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. Please continue to break us of old self and TRANSFORM us by the renewing of our minds, so we can experience your loving and perfect will for us! - Thanksgiving On Thanksgiving Back in The Garden of Eden, before our ancestors Adam and Eve fell, we were in full unity with Our Father. Before the fall, we stood in confidence before God, with full affection towards Him and we were perfectly satisfied. After the sin of eating the forbidden fruit something changed. No longer were Our Fathers Commands "enough" for us. The ancient Hebrew Scriptures use a word that describes us as "out of chord" with The One True and Living God of All Things. We were no longer in perfect harmony with Our Father. Now we seem to bend and seek harmony with "the world," needing its affirmation and acceptance. Here is how Our Father had Paul make the statement about those now without Christ in Philippians 2:15: “a warped and crooked generation.” Philippians 2:15 Crooked. Warped. This is how we are now described before we come to knowledge of Our Savior and King and change our lives. So, what is the cure? Philippians 2 goes on to explain that we should be "blameless and pure," other translations explain it as "without blemish." Our Father Goes On In His Word To Explain for us to "Do everything without grumbling or arguing." Stated another way, we should be thankful. This thankfulness and thanksgiving causes us to "shine like stars in the sky." We shine when we have Our Father and His Word, even when we are among a "warped and crooked generation." Our world has unfortunately slipped into a the trap of entitlement and because of this, most seem to always be discontent. Our world has become like our ancestors and thinks we "deserve" to be gods. Because of this attitude we are always trying to decide our own fate and be our own leaders, never satisfied. The world see those that stand in their way of controlling their own fate as enemies. Those in the world, and us before Christ, want it all. What is the product of this entitlement and god-complex? Discontent and pride. When anyone is chasing the myths and fairytales of this world it undoubtedly tends to leave us swimming in pride and chasing things that aren't even a reality to acquire. Thanksgiving is a large part of our lives as believers. If we are struggling with trails, sin, or temptation in this life, it may be a worship or thanksgiving problem. If we succumb to the temptations of this world it will only lead us to self worship, worship of someone, or worship of something other than Our Father. Thankfulness takes our focus off of our perceived needs and places our focus on Our Father and King. Our thanksgiving to God Our Father cleanses us, refocuses us, and brings us His Peace. May we all make it a point on this day to be thankful. Wherever we may be, whatever we may be doing, if we are Thankful and giving Thanksgiving to Our God, Father, and Savior... we will be able to see our blessings rather than just ourselves. *An interesting note: Do you know how Thanksgiving was started? Sukkot or The Feast of Tabernacles. When the first settlers came over they all still celebrated Our Father's Holy Feast. When it came time to "break bread" with the natives they wanted to honor Our Father's Holy Days and show the natives how believers in The One True God celebrated. It makes perfect sense because what is Sukkot all about?... Thanksgiving. So from that day forward Thanksgiving was established. May we all remember Our Father and Savior on this memorial day and most of all remember to give... Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving. God Bless Everyone. Praying each and every one of you on the other side of this screen has a wonderful, joyous, and God-Blessed Thanksgiving. Shalom! The Thanksgiving Word Of God aka Turkey For The Soul: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Psalms 100:4 “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.” Philippians 2:12-18 “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” Psalm 28:7 “I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.” Psalms 9:1 Good morning Wednesday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. As You walk with us today keep us focused on Your TRUTHS and continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your PEACE, so there's no room for fear or doubt! - 7 Picture Verses To Brighten Your Day Good morning Tuesday...
Thank You Father for this new day! Please continue to fill our HEARTS and MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE, so we may ENJOY Your blessings, and be a blessing, TODAY! - God Is Big - Have A Merry Heart Blood flows through our veins, into our hearts, and makes our body work. God's Word tells us that "the Life is in the blood (Lev 17:11)." There is something that helps give us Life as much as the blood your heart pumps through your body though. Having A Merry Heart. As believers we all are aware of not just the physical, but the spiritual. Having a merry heart is part of the spiritual. I have learned that if your spiritual life is kept healthy, the physical will follow. Stress kills, but Loving God Almighty and Having A Merry Heart Brings Life. We have a Big God. Nothing Is Impossible For Him. This alone should give us a merry heart. He Can Do More Than We Can Imagine and The Difficult Things For Us Are Easy For Him. Our Father Wants Our Dependence. Why? Because He Knows This Will Give Us A Merry Heart. We were made to depend on Him, Love Him, and receive Spiritual Renewal from Him. Are you having a tough time right now? If you are, this should be exciting because that means God is up to something. He Is Refining You, Teaching You, and whether you know it or not, He Is Loving You. Our Father's Love doesn't always look like we expect it to, but if we merely rely on Him, we soon find His blessing in our trial. Believe, repent, obey or B.R.O.. This is what God's Word Calls Us To Do. When we do this it doesn't matter the struggle, trial, or battle we are going through, Our Father Will Show Us... He Is Big, Nothing Is Impossible For Him, and it allows us to Have A Merry Heart. Can I get a witness?! Sure, here's 5: “A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.” Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, But the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness. All the days of the afflicted are evil, But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast. Better is a little with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble.” Proverbs 15:13-16 “through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:2-5 “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” Mark 9:23 “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”” Mark 10:27 |
