The 40 Days of Elul (Day 23): The Power And The Sacrifice: The Mighty Name of God Our Father8/31/2021 Good Morning Tuesday... Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Help us to be Your LIGHTs in this dark world. Help us to show the KINDNESS, COMPASSION, MERCY, AND LOVE that You Have Shown Us THROUGH Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. We ask this in His Name, The Name Above All Names, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior. AMEN!
It is amazing to me The Truth, eloquence, and conciseness with which the Hebrew Language communicates Our Father’s Word. The vast richness and messages that come from doing a Hebrew Word Study never fails to surprise me, and it is as if Our Father Himself Is Speaking. Know why? He Is Speaking! It's His Word! Today let's take a look at The Name of God In Hebrew throughout the first part of The Bible, often coined "The Old Testament." I believe Our Father has a message for us. The Hebrew Name of God in The Old Testament is : יהוה These four letters by name are: yod-hey-vav-hey Now going back to the original picto Hebrew or the beginning of our modern language these letters mean something very specific and it just blew me away. The meaning: BEHOLD THE HAND BEHOLD THE NAIL There are more than 5,000 times that The Name of God has been replaced in our modern English Bibles. In fact, most every single place you see the word "LORD" in all caps, that is where it has been removed and replaced. The english transliteration is YAHWEH. For now, let's concentrate on the Hebrew Pictograph meaning BEHOLD THE HAND BEHOLD THE NAIL. Now, with my limited education in Hebrew, I will attempt to give one of the many powerful messages Our Father is giving us in His Name. Here goes: The first part of God's Name - BEHOLD THE HAND In the Hebrew Pictograph "BEHOLD" would be represented by a picture of a man with two arms lifted up and its meaning is: Listen, Hear, See, Watch, or Hey!!! Our Father is telling us to listen, hear, see, watch, and Hey!!! "THE HAND" is depicted as just that in the Hebrew Pictograph, a hand from the shoulder to the hand. Look at My Hand, I believe, is what Our Father is Speaking. His Right Hand, The Hand, well, we all know this is Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior. The second part of God's Name - BEHOLD THE NAIL Again in the Hebrew Pictograph "BEHOLD" is represented by a man with two arms lifted and means “Listen, Hear, See, Watch , or Hey!. "THE NAIL" is just that, a nail. Representing salvation, the killing of sin, and the covenant with Our Father that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, made for us at the cross. Let’s Take A Look 👇: Here's what I believe Our Father is communicating with His Name, BEHOLD THE HAND BEHOLD THE NAIL:
1st: BEHOLD THE HAND (The Old Testament, First Testament, or The First Part of The Bible) In The Old Testament we see God Doing Amazing Works. His Power Creates Everything In The Heavens and The Earth, Washes The Earth, Then Reestablishes The Earth. We see Our Father Work Mighty Signs For The Whole World To See. The Angel Of The Lord, The Right Hand Of God, The Pillar of Smoke, and The Pillar of Fire. The world witnesses these mighty acts. Egypt is decimated, justice is delivered, and then God Almighty Sits Atop Mt. Sinai As A Cloud of Fire, ministers, and marries Israel. Mighty Acts, Mighty Signs, The Right Hand of God, The Angel of The Lord, all of these things scream BEHOLD THE HAND! Look, hear, listen, watch and see Israel and the world what My Hand Is Capable of... All Things! Now: BEHOLD THE NAIL (The New Testament, The Newer Testament, or The Second Part of The Bible) In The New Testament we see God's Mercy Manifested In Our King and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. His Life, His Miracles, His Selflessness, His Service To Others, and His Never Failing Love and Patience with us, a rebellious people, covers the pages of His Word. He Had Power Beyond What We Can Understand, yet never used that power except to heal, to comfort, to drive out demons, to deliver, and to Love. This Love Was Not more Clearly Shown Than In Him Being Pierced By A Nail On The Cross. Now, let's put this all together and see what we get: BEHOLD THE HAND - My People and everyone in the world, you have seen My Power, My Might, My Mighty Hand At Work. None Can Stand Against Me. I Can Bring Down World Powers, Wash The Earth Clear of All Flesh, Create Everything, Reveal Myself As Fire🔥 or As A Cloud, Defend From The Largest Foe With A Mere Child, Create Plagues Or Heal Millions, Bring Water From Rocks, Heal With Serpents, and I Can Do As I Please. BEHOLD THE HAND = BEHOLD THE POWER OF MY RIGHT HAND! And Now That You Have Beheld My Hand and Beheld My Power... BEHOLD THE NAIL - You Have Seen My Powerful Right Hand. You Have Seen There Is Nothing Impossible For Me. You Know All Power And All Things Can Be Accomplished By Me... Now See What I Do. I Will Come Down To You, And Though I Have The Power To Do All Things, I Will Not Resist You. I Will Heal You. I Will Walk With You, My People, And Show You Mercy, Kindness, Service, Healing, and Most Importantly... My Love. Though I Have Power To Do All Things, I Will Restrain My Power, Not Fight Against You, And Show You How Much I Love You By Being NAILed to a Cross, which is My Covenant With You. Though You Know The Power I Possess, To Show You How Much I Love You, I Will Not Use It Against You, But Instead Will Show You The Deception of the enemy and Your True Nature Towards Me Since The Fall. I Will Allow You To Witness Me Upon A Cross, Pierced With A Nail To Show You My Love - BEHOLD THE NAIL Amazing, right? The Gospel Is In Our Father's Name, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Is In His Name, The Old Testament and the New Testament Are In His Name! And it doesn't stop there. Here are a few more meanings that can be applied with perfect precision of message through His Name: BEHOLD THE HAND - The Old Testament, The Power of God, The House of Judah (Which His Son Will Be Born Through and As He Promised The Scepter Shall Not Leave Judah's Hand) or The Invisible God Who Rules All BEHOLD THE NAIL - The New Testament, The Mercy Of God And Love Of God, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The Visible God, or The House of Israel (Which He Divorced, Scattered, and Promised To Bring Back To Himself Before The End and Marry Again. Interestingly enough, in Hebrew Law, This can Only Be Done If The Husband Dies and HE DIED FOR US!) Holy Moses! Our Father Never Ceases To Amaze Me. What A Good Father We Have. He Tells Us In So Many Ways That He Is Here For Us, Loves Us, and Will Never Leave Us... No Matter What Comes Against Us or Who Comes Against Us. He Will Deliver Us. And It Is All In His Name! Brothers and Sisters, I Pray this has edified and encouraged you. As we are now in the 23th Day of Elul, may we all remember: He Is Speaking To Us. Next time you are discouraged, hurting, being persecuted, or are "down" for any reason... Just look to The Name of God Almighty. He Is Reassuring You He Is There. He Is With You. And His Love Will Never Fail. Whenever you need a little "pick me up" just look to His Word and BEHOLD THE HAND, BEHOLD THE NAIL! God Bless Everyone and Have A Great Yahweh Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, God Our Father and His Son Jesus Christ-Filled Rest of the week! 7 Verses From His Word About His Name,The Name of God, The Word of God: “Therefore My people shall know My Name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I AM HE Who Speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’ ” How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings Good News (Gospel), Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation (In Hebrew: Yeshua 🔥), Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, With their voices they shall sing together; For they shall see eye to eye When The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) brings back Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, You waste places of Jerusalem! For The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has comforted His people, He has redeemed Jerusalem. The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has made bare His Holy Arm In the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see The Salvation of our God. Depart! Depart! Go out from there, Touch no unclean thing; Go out from the midst of her, Be clean, You who bear the vessels of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh). For you shall not go out with haste, Nor go by flight; For The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) will go before you, And The God of Israel will be Your Rear Guard.” Isaiah 52:6-12 “The name of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is a Strong Tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10 “Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, and what is His Son’s Name, If you know?” Proverbs 30:4 “I Am The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End,” says The Lord, “Who Is and Who Was and Who Is To Come, THE ALMIGHTY (Shaddai).” Revelation 1:8 “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember The Name of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. Save, LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)! May The King answer us when we call.” Psalms 20:7-9 “And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on The Name of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Shall be saved.” Acts 2:21 “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His Name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) God of your fathers, The God of Abraham, The God of Isaac, and The God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My Name FOREVER, and this is My memorial to all generations.” Exodus 3:13-15

Good Morning Monday.....
Father, Help us to LIVE AWARE, to CHOOSE WISELY, to STAY CLOSE to You, and ANCHORED IN Your TRUTH! Thank You for YOUR GREAT LOVE, MERCY, that you WAIT FOR US, and You STRENGTHEN US. We come to You today, choosing to walk in YOUR PRESENCE AND LIGHT. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN!
“My cup overflows with your blessings” Psalm 23:5 Being mindful, giving praise, and being thankful in the midst of a trial isn’t always easy. When we discipline ourselves into responding this way though, we are winning a serious spiritual battle. Thanking Our Father in Heaven and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, even when life is difficult, this is when we are defeating our enemy. Isn’t this what Our Savior did in The Garden of Gethsemane before His crucifixion? It is. This is The Perfect Example of having a thankful heart in the midst of an excruciatingly difficult situation. When we act in this manner, our enemy hits a “brick wall,” and we are successfully defending against the “spiritual hosts of wickedness” we read about in Ephesians 6:12. Let’s take a look: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12 KJV Part of “being more like Christ” is learning to be thankful for all the blessings in our lives, no matter the situation. Our Father in Heaven takes great joy if, in the middle of a great trial, we can be thankful, reverent, and acknowledge Him as sovereign. This is a prime example of looking at our lives from an eternal standpoint. We have a treasure set before us and the reality of eternal life and eternal glory are priceless. We won’t always have to deal with trials and one day there will be no pain (Revelation 21:4), but until then, may the reality that is possible because of Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and Yahweh, Our Father In Heaven, be enough to keep us encouraged and HAVING A THANKFUL HEART. A Prayer to Have a Thankful Heart: Father Yahweh, please teach and discipline us to be able to offer you a thankful heart amidst all our trials and our blessings. In our daily experiences it can be easy to have our minds drift onto worldly things, emotions, and people. Help us instead to focus on You Father. We long to bring you a fragrance in our actions that is pleasing to You. Help us to break the power of the enemy and defeat him through our thankfulness to You, even during our trials. Father, enlarge in all of us a “heart of flesh” and break away our “hearts of stone.” Transform our minds to have an attitude of thanks, praise, and discipline with our present circumstances, and the new ones we will face this week. Let’s all take a moment to thank Our Father for any difficult areas we may be dealing with in our lives. Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our King... we want to be more like You. You obeyed Our Father with zero complaints. You took upon Yourself our chains, which You did not have to do, so we may be freed of our chains and the sin that entices us. Please be with us and convict us when we complain, compare, minimize, or focus on the negative instead of You and Our Father in Heaven. We know that You are Truth, and Truth dwells in a thankful heart. Yeshua, dwell in our hearts today and forever more, so we can show others what HAVING A THANKFUL HEART is all about. “I will thank Yahweh according to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to The Name of Yahweh, The Most High. Yahweh, our LORD, how majestic is Your Name in all the earth, who put Your Splendor above the heavens.” Psalms 7:17-8:1 In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name, Amen. Our Father in Heaven and Our Savior bless each and every one of you on the other side of this screen... Mightily! Have a great week everyone. Love you all.😎🙌🔥 Good Morning Sunday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that you cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. We ask this in YOUR PERFECT SON YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's NAME, Amen.
It can be a very challenging experience when someone sins against us. It seems that we all are born with a natural tendency to want to talk about that person and solicit sympathy for ourselves. But what does God's Word say about this? Let's check in: “And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” I Peter 4:8 NKJV “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” I Corinthians 13:4-10 NKJV “Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.” Proverbs 10:12 NKJV Love covers sin. Love sees past sin. Love shows Grace and Mercy, and it does this in The Light of Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior Who Sacrificed Himself Because Of Our Sin Against Him. If Our Father Loves Us enough to send His One And Only Son to take care of our many sins, shouldn't we be more willing to look past someone else's sin knowing all the things in which we are forgiven through Yeshua, Jesus Our Savior? When we apply such godliness to our own lives and relationships it guards our deceitful hearts against gossip, and against the ever so subtle bitterness that can creep into our lives. May we all search our minds and hearts to see if we find anyone in whom we have reoccurring negative thoughts due to a bad experience. This may be difficult to ponder on, but we need only look at the sins we have committed against Our God and Father and have been forgiven through Yeshua Our Savior to understand How To Begin To Heal Our Souls and Forgive...With Love. Prayer: Dear Father God, help us to never lose sight of what we have been forgiven in Yeshua, Christ Jesus Our Savior. Please help open our hearts and minds to understand all that You do for us. With this understanding help us to grant others forgiveness and allow You To Heal And Lead Our Lives. We Praise You, Bless You, Love You, and Thank You. In Your Mighty Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name We Pray. Amen. Good Morning Sabbath...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Thank You for each NEW BREATH You Give Us. We ask You for DISCERNMENT with the things we may not be “seeing,” so that we may grow closer to You and have COMPLETE LIVES showing Your Glory. We ask these things IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name. Amein! A Big Thank You to our late Brother, John Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. Have you ever wanted to say something and can’t quit get the right words out, and then someone comes along and says what you are trying to say almost perfectly? Well, that’s what happened in this devotion today. God Bless The Bereans! Have a great Sabbath Day my Brothers and Sisters!
“A wrathful man stirs up strife, But he who is slow to anger allays contention.” Proverbs 15:18 “A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1 “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.” Proverbs 16:32 “The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression.” Proverbs 19:11 “Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, For anger rests in the bosom of fools.” Ecclesiastes 7:9 “Rest in The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.” Psalm 37:7-8 “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.” Psalm 145:8 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.” Ephesians 4:31 “But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.” Colossians 3:8 “Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged”. Colossians 3:21 “He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow, And the rod of his anger will fail.” Proverbs 22:8 Hostility seems to be a hallmark of this church age in a similar way that road-rage is to the world. It is alright for us to be righteously indignant as long as we do not sin. There is a place for righteous indignation, but God does not permit much anger because it is difficult not to sin when angry. That kind of anger is a "mark of the beast." Frequently, hostility is simply a denial of reality. People do not have tempers born in them; angry tempers begin to be created in childhood. Parents allow tempers to burst forth, and each time it happens, it becomes easier—and the next time and the next and on and on until it is ingrained in the personality. Anger is nothing more than a passionate response to some sort of stimuli, and it is almost always a self-centered response. It usually begins when we believe that what should or should not have happened either did or did not, and conflict arises. We can believe, either strongly or weakly, it should or should not have happened. Therefore, anger can be either strong or weak or anywhere in between. The reality is this: What happened happened. How will anger help the problem? Satan believes that it does because he wants to control, to win, to compete, to devour, to get the upper hand, to triumph. Do we really need the anger to drive us to manipulate or to punish? Why not just start working on a solution without the anger, knowing full well that the anger will likely create sin and cause additional damage to the relationship? In a way, it is all very logical, but our feelings get in the way. Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." The first clause can be paraphrased, "There is a way that man thinks things should be." This is where conflict arises: Two people see things differently. The question is, then, who is to say that it should be the way we see it? Things happen because laws are broken, and whatever we sow we reap. Sometimes we get caught in other peoples' ignorance and stupidity. This is a fact of everybody's life, even to God in the flesh. He got caught in the ignorance and stupidity of His fellow Israelites in Judea, and it cost Him His life—yet He did not get angry. What an example! What an example of control. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." How far did He go to make peace? To the death. Even when the other person was totally, absolutely, completely wrong, He did not go to war against him. The problem with anger arises when we turn our feelings and drives to set things right, as we see them, into absolute necessities. We feel it must be our way, but the reality is that others have the same rights from God that we have. Everyone has free moral agency. Anger arises because of the way we judge things: We apply the standard that we hold as being the right one. The Bread of Life: “By this everyone will know that you are MY DISCIPLES—if you have LOVE for one another.” John 13:35 Good Morning Friday...
Father, thank You for this NEW day. We ask that you OPEN our HEARTS and MINDS to Your Word and implant in us Your Goodness. As we walk with You today, gently remind us of Your Presence in our lives. Please watch over our loved ones, Your People Israel, and TRANSFORM our lives TODAY! In Your Son and Our Mighty Savior’s Name, YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST, we pray. Amen. - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 19) - God Our Father Will Make His Face... Shine Upon You “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;” Numbers 6:25 The Scriptures are full of expressions and illustrations that point to God Our Father Being Not Only A Completely Divine Being, But Also A Person. This is something that might be easy to forget, after all, He Is The Creator Of All Things. His Word Speaks About His Face, Hands, Heart, Eyes, Among Other Parts Of The Body. If we observed Our Mighty God's Face I believe we could see His Expressions and They Would Quickly Tell Us His Judgements, Thoughts, and would be connotative of His Emotions. Our Father Desires A Relationship With Us. A relationship that involves fellowship, communion, and an exchange of intimacy. Just look at Yeshua, Jesus Christ, His Son and all the time spent in solitude with God Our Father, or Moses and the intimate relationship he had with Our Father. Think about it: Why did God Go To Such Lengths Pursuing Us and Sending His Only Son? He was opening THE WAY for us to have intimacy with Him! Our Father wants a two-way relationship with us. His Instructions, Commands, and Precepts Are Perfect and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, not only made these things clear for us, but also clarified all the confusion the corrupt pharisees had caused with them. God Almighty Gave Us THE WAY to sustain and foster an intimate and loving relationship with Him. Many places in The Bible, God's Word, we are encouraged to "Seek The Face" of God Our Father. Just take a look at the first and greatest commandment in Deuteronomy 6 and confirmed by Yeshua in Mark 12 : “Hear, O Israel: The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) our God, The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is One! You shall love The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:4-5 “Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) our God, The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is One. And you shall love The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.” Mark 12:29-30 So we see from the very first commandment Our Heavenly Father is telling us He Desires to have a relationship, communion, and intimacy with His Children. Today as we go about our day, may we all accept and embrace the fact that The One True and Living God, Our Heavenly Father, The Almighty Creator of All Things wants us, Loves us, and desires to spend time with us! That is AMAZING! May we all turn to Him, obey, and choose Him so that He Makes "His Face Shine Upon You,"... Today! God Bless Every One! May His Face Shine Upon You Today! The Word of God, The Word of Truth, and A Blessing For You: “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) bless you and keep you; The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) make His Face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) lift up His Countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 “When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), I will seek.” Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. When my father and my mother forsake me, Then The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) will take care of me.” Psalms 27:8-10 “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) In the land of the living. Wait on The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh); Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)!” Psalms 27:13-14 Good Morning Thursday...
OUR FATHER Who Art In Heaven, PLEASE take Your day and USE US, Your humble servants, FOR YOUR GOOD AND PERFECT WILL. Father give us the Grace and Peace Only found IN You and Your Son Jesus Christ, OUR KING AND MESSIAH. We ask this in YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’S NAME. AMEN! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 18) - God Our Father Will Keep You... Always “The LORD (YHVH or YAHWEH) Bless You and Keep You” Numbers 6:24 NKJV When we think of the word "Keep," most likely we draw on the meaning in terms of obeying and keeping the commandments, but really it more closely aligns with the definition of "guarding." In ancient days a shepherd would build a stone fence hedged with thorns around his sheep to protect them from predators and thieves. The Shepherd would use stones to fashion a wall and then thorns would be placed round-about the top protecting from predators such as wolves. What an awesome picture! The Shepherd uses a “crown of thorns” to protect the sheep!... That’s Right! The LORD, YHWH, Yahweh, or Our Heavenly Father, Kind and Loving, is giving us a message in The Scripture above. He is telling us that He Will Place A Hedge of Protection around us. He will hem us in with thorns so the enemy or any predators can't get to us. His “Crown of Thorns” is Powerful. This Priestly Blessing that the verse above is drawn from, or The Aaronic Blessing, is interwoven with the Divine Embrace of Our Heavenly Father. He uses His Blessing to instantly deliver us from the enemies attacks. Whether the enemy attacks us through others, spiritual oppression, or in some cases possession, Our Father's Blessing has the power to deliver us instantly. He is The Shepherd and when He Builds A Hedge... No one can penetrate it. Being in Our Father YHWH's arms is compared to being in a "thorny hedge" of protection. The enemy and his demons can never and will never break the security of Our Father's Arms. When He uses His “Crown of Thorns,” just as Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, told us... "it is finished (John 19:30)." He Already Won and the enemy is already defeated. We are protected from all things. Why? Because when we choose to follow God, He Gladly, Lovingly, and Mercifully Accepts Us. We are His spiritual children because of what Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ Our Savior did on The Cross. His Crown of Thorns hedges us in, because we know He has already defeated the enemy. Knowing this gives us the “mind of Christ,” and helps us properly deal with all things in a godly manner. Whether persecution, tribulation, spiritual oppression, or any other thing that may get thrown at us, Yahweh, Our Father In Heaven, Will... Keep You. HalleluYah! May we take this Blessing with us today and know that when we choose God, Our Savior, and His Ways, guarding His Commandments, He Will Guard Us As The Ultimate, Fearless Warrior-Shepherd That He Is. God Bless Everyone. Praying you all had a wonderful God-Filled week so far and it moves along into a wonderful God-Filled Weekend. Let us all remember to pray for the many affected, all over our country, and world, by the natural disasters. Fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and sickness. We live in perilous times and we need each others prayers now more than ever. I Love you all, and today I leave you with The Word of God and A Blessing For You. Shalom (Peace, Wholeness)! The Word of God & A Blessing For You: Remember, this is the blessing that was spoken by the Levitical Priests over Israel. If you accept Yeshua, Jesus Christ, as your personal Master and Savior, you are Israel. And now... We Have A Much Greater High Priest, in The Order of Malchizedek, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Himself... Along with A Greater Covenant. So how much greater is our assurance?! If God be for us... Who can be against us! Praise God for His Mercies Are New Each Morning! 🙌 A Blessing For You: May Yahweh Bless You and Keep You; May Yahweh Make His Face Shine On You And Be Gracious to You; May Yahweh Lift His Countenance Upon You, And Give You Shalom (Peace)! Numbers 6:24-26 The Word of Yah: “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39 Good Morning Wednesday…
Father thank You for this NEW DAY! As we RISE to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, let us SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that tries to ensnare us. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's Name we pray. Amen. - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 17) - There Is A Time: Repentance And Wisdom Solomon, son of David, servant of The Most High. Our Father used Solomon to give some very profound wisdom. God's Word tells us Solomon was the wisest man in the world, that his wisdom was unequaled. Ecclesiastes was written in the later part of Solomon The Wise's Life, so we can deduce that Solomon was most likely at his wisest while writing this book. Having made mistakes, gone astray, and then stating his folly and Repentance, Ecclesiastes was written with a unique perspective... one that we can gain much from. Today as we look at Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 Verses 1-15, may we understand there is "a time for every purpose under heaven." May we also understand, anytime is a good time for repentance, to “turn back” to Our Father and Savior. We will make mistakes and we will learn. The most important thing in this process? Learning The Wisdom And Power of God Almighty, and turning back to him when we have gone astray. Solomon was the wisest man on earth and made many mistakes. I think it is sufficient to say, we will make mistakes also... many of them. Our Father gave us The Greatest Gift Ever In His Son and His Word. May we eat this Bread, turn back to Our Father, gain wisdom, and let Him nourish our souls, Prayer: Dear Father, please open our hearts and minds to accept the wisdom You have given us through Your Servant Solomon. Help us to turn back to You wherever we may have gone astray. Help us with patience, kindness, long suffering, grace, and Love. We know You have appointed all things, made The Only Way, and given us eternity. Help us to be "good and faithful servants" through The Truth, discernment, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in which you have imparted in This Word, Your Word. Father, please help us to understand that for everything... There is a time. Being You Have Made " a time for everything," may we accept Your Will in whatever our circumstances and show Your Light, Love, and Wisdom to the world. We Love You, We Praise You, and We Thank You. It is in Your Son, Our King and Savior, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen Our Daily Bread AKA The Word of God: “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. What profit has the worker from that in which he labors? I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God. I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. That which is has already been, And what is to be has already been; And God requires an account of what is past.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 NKJV Daily Bread Bonus - With the wisdom we have gained, may we become "foolish," so that we become "really wise." For "the thoughts of the wise are worthless," God "traps the wise in their own cleverness," and "the wisdom of the world is nonsense as far as God is concerned." May none of us boast in ourselves or "human beings" because of the wisdom Our Father has imparted to us... it is His Alone. In Our Father's Wisdom, He Has Given Us All Things, for we belong to Yeshua, Jesus, and Yeshua Belongs To God. Blessed Be His Name Forever and ever Amen! “planter and waterer are the same. However, each will be rewarded according to his work. For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. Using the grace God gave me, I laid a foundation, like a skilled master-builder; and another man is building on it. But let each one be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Yeshua (Jesus) The Messiah. Some will use gold, silver or precious stones in building on this foundation; while others will use wood, grass or straw. But each one’s work will be shown for what it is; the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire — the fire will test the quality of each one’s work. If the work someone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward; if it is burned up, he will have to bear the loss: he will still escape with his life, but it will be like escaping through a fire. Don’t you know that you people are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? So if anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you yourselves are that temple. Let no one fool himself. If someone among you thinks he is wise (by this world’s standards), let him become “foolish,” so that he may become really wise. For the wisdom of this world is nonsense, as far as God is concerned; inasmuch as the Tanakh (Bible) says, “He traps the wise in their own cleverness,” and again, “ ADONAI (God, YHWH, YAHWEH) knows that the thoughts of the wise are worthless.” So let no one boast about human beings, for all things are yours — whether Sha’ul (Paul) or Apollos or Kefa (Peter) or the world or life or death or the present or the future: they all belong to you, and you belong to the Messiah, and the Messiah belongs to God.” 1 Corinthians (1 Co) 3:8-23 CJB Good Morning Tuesday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. You have blessed us with another WONDERFUL day to see Your WISDOM,TRUTH, and LOVE. May we use this day to show this dark world Your Fruit, Your Light, Your Love, and Your Glory TODAY! In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 16) -Searching For Love? Receive Love First. God Gives Freely. The first thing we have to understand about Love: one must receive Love to be able to give Love. In Ephesians 3:17 we see God giving us a clue through Paul's prayer as to where we can receive that Love first: “to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19 Here we see that knowing the Love of Yeshua, Jesus Christ is beyond any knowledge we can attain anywhere in this world... it must come from Our Father Himself, through Our Savior. When His Love does come into our lives we will be filled with "all the fullness of God." Doesn't that sound amazing!? What is the fullness of God you may ask? Well, I think for this devotions purpose we would be wise to look at 1 John 4:8: "God Is Love." 1 John 4:8 If God Is Love, it would make sense that we must receive Him First if we are to give Love properly. For if we have not received Him Which Is Love, how could we possibly be loving others correctly? Even when we do love in the correct way but do not completely know God, we must understand that Love which we give ... is still from Him. Now, let's take a moment to think about this. Love from Our Father is not just something that we are to receive From Him, but also something to give in return freely... as He Has To Us. In 1 John we read: “And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.” I John 3:23 So the next questions that may be begged are: How can we be kind to those who are mean to us? How can we Love as Our Father Loves? Well, simply put, receive first and then give. But how do we receive God's Love? Take a look at Matthew 7:7-8: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 I encourage you today if you are curious to know if you have received God's Love yet... ask. To those who know they have received, Praise God! Our Father is so Gracious and Kind, and if you ask, He will open you up to something new. Many people tell us to Love, but only God gives us the power to do so. If we do ask, Our Father tells us in James 1:5: “let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 As we wrap things up, let us take a moment today to inquire of God Our Father about His Love. If we do this we can and will come to a greater understanding of how to Love one another, as He Has Commanded. Remember, by following The Word, Yeshua, and His Instructions we do have the power to Love Unconditionally, just as Our God and Savior Loves us. And lastly, know this, Your Father Loves You personally, powerfully, and passionately. His Love is Unfailing. Others have promised and fail, but God Our Father and His Son Yeshua... They Never Fail. Receive His Love Today. Prayer: Dear Father God, we come to you humbly today and ask that You show us Your Love as Only You Can. During these 40 Days of Elul we seek to return closer to you and we know THE WAY IS LOVE. We know this because You Are Love. We all struggle at times loving our Brothers and Sisters. We ask you for patience and understanding in this, and that you help us to see each other, and all Your children, the way You do. We ask for this so that we may become like You and Your Son a little more everyday until Yeshua, Jesus Christ shows up and finishes Your Good Work. Your Kindness, Mercy, and Unfailing Love knows no bounds and we thank You for these many gifts. Help us to exhibit Your Character as we try to Love Others More. We ask these things in Your Mighty Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. Good Morning Monday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. You have blessed us with another WONDERFUL day to see your WISDOM and TRUTH. May we use this day to show this dark world Your FRUIT, Your LIGHT, and Your Glory TODAY! In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 15) - Don't Trust Your Heart! Trust Your Disciplined And Godly Transformed Mind (Part 2) How do we fight against our "deceitful hearts?" That is the question we face. Yesterday we looked into the dangers of trusting our hearts and briefly touched on the fact that the world is constantly telling us to trust these deceitful hearts. Today we will look at how to arm ourselves against following that path of deceit and The Way to train ourselves to follow our disciplined, transformed, and godly trained mind. A Yahweh Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, or A God Our Father and His Son Jesus Christ Transformed Mind. Let's jump right into a witness from The Word of God.: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:1-3 NKJV We see here God's Word telling us not to be "conformed," but to be "transformed" by the "renewing of our minds." Right away Our Father tells us, in Romans 12, to be living sacrifices, don't be conformed to a world telling us to trust our hearts, and transform our minds so we "may prove what is that good and acceptable and Perfect Will of God." So, it is with our minds that we must prove The Will of God for our lives... not our heart. The question is now, what is our mind like before we "transform" our minds and before we can "think soberly (1Peter1:13)?" Let's look in Our Father’s Word and find out.: “Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,” Colossians 2:18 NKJV “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.” Romans 8:5 NKJV “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:7-8 NKJV Here we see that before we transform our minds, our minds are carnal, fleshly, and deceitful. In some places throughout God's Word, it likens a fleshly mind with drunkenness, pride, and vanity. This is what happens to us when we have been following our hearts and they are filled with the passions of the world. In order to arm ourselves, in order to transform our minds... what must we do? I believe in order to do this we must begin with the first commandment. We are suppose to love God with "all our mind (Luke 10:27)." If we are loving God with all our mind, it would mean that we are in His Word, studying, and reading to "prove what is that good and acceptable and Perfect Will of God." If we don't do this, how can we even "know" His Will? The answer is we can't. It takes an effort on our part, choosing Him As God and not following our own conception of good. Our Father knows best, can train our minds if we submit to him, and lead us into a more full, peaceful, and joyful Life. We must arm ourselves against deceit. We must set our minds on "Things of The Spirit." As in the verses above show, our minds can lead us astray just as our hearts if we allow them to be "fleshly" and "carnal." The key is to identify when we are acting fleshly and carnal, or following our deceitful hearts, and repent of that behavior, that thinking, or the longing for worldly things. God's Word is the only Truth where we have a standard in which to judge rightly against these things and to know the "fruit" of when we are doing this. The Bible mentions the word mind 92 times and it is either pointing to a fleshly mind or a mind that shares in the Will of Our Father, His Son, and The Body of Christ. After all, isn't "The Head" of man, and The Church, Christ? Aren't we suppose to train ourselves to have "The Mind of Christ?" We all know, changing someone's mind on something can be a difficult thing. Letting God Change our minds with His Word doesn't have to be. Once we have studied God's Word, tested our motives by questioning ourselves, and try to learn what God Is Showing us, we begin to transform our minds and likeness to His Character. We should all be aware not to trust our hearts, but if we learn to train and transform our minds... we begin to arm ourselves against the deceits of the world. Remember, the world wants us to think God's Word is wrong, but The Truth is... once we transform our old minds by God's Word into a disciplined and godly mind... we will know without a doubt... His Word Is Truth, Life, and The Way. Let us conclude with a few verses about a rightly transformed mind. A mind that has been transformed by The Word of God. Once we start on this path of "rightly dividing The Word of Truth," we will be training ourselves to have a transformed and godly-disciplined mind. With a godly and transformed mind, we will be able to fight against any deceit our hearts or the world throws at us. God Bless Everybody and have a Great Godly-Transformed Mind Day! The Word of Truth about a "right" mind: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11 KJV “And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:29-32 KJV “Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” Philippians 2:2 KJV “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” Philippians 2:5 KJV “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV Good Morning Sunday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. Please impart in our hearts YOUR WILL. We ask for Patience, Kindness, Humility, and Truth so we may show You and YOUR Son's LIGHT in this fallen world. In Yeshua, JESUS CHRIST's Name, amen. Well, Brothers and Sisters, two weeks ago we entered into the month of Elul, or the 6th month on the Hebrew calendar. For 40 days Israel (God’s People, Not The Land) uses this a time of reflection, self evaluation, and repentance as we head toward the fall feasts. The “40 days of Elul” culminates with The Day of Atonement in Our Father’s Holy Festivals, which is, biblically, The High Holiest Day of the year. That’s pretty big. When Our Father tells us that He has marked one of His Days as “The High Holiest” of the year... we should definitely pay attention. Many during this time will be fasting, spending extra time in prayer, spending extra time with Our Father in other ways, serving others, and generally working to get closer to Our Father. Elul is definitely about repentance though, evaluating our hearts, and recommitting ourselves to Our God, King, and Leader. Being that most issues any of us will deal with are “heart issues,” spiritually speaking, I thought it would be a good time to talk about “The Heart” and “The Transformed Mind.” As we move through the rest of these 40 days we will comtinue to talk more about Elul, Our Father’s Holy Festivals (Rehearsals), the implications for each of us as God’s People in these festivals, the prophetic significance in Our Father’s Holy Feasts, and also what important lessons there are to learn through His Festivals. Today, let’s focus on The Heart and The Transformed and Godly Mind. God Bless You My Brothers and Sisters! - The 40 Days of Elul (Day 14)
The world is full of lies. The world propagates these lies over and over so that we believe them. In the study of mind control, hypnosis, and brain washing, there is one element that is required. Repetition. The enemy knows that if you hear something over and over, hear it repeated by friends and family, and hear it from the idols of the world such as musicians in secular music, you will believe them eventually and you may not even know where you received this advice. The fact is, we believe these things sometimes just because so many people have said it and it becomes ingrained in our mind. This is one of the biggest reasons God's Word Tells us to test EVERYTHING against The Word. When we do, many times, we will find what we have "learned" from popular culture is completely opposite from what The Bible teaches us. How many times have you heard song lyrics such as: "Listen to your heart," "the heart don't lie," "follow your heart," and we could go on and on. Now, with that in mind, today let's take a look at what Our Father's Word tells us about our hearts.: “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh), search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:9-10 NKJV “Above everything else, guard your heart; for it is the source of life’s consequences.” Mishlei (Proverbs) 4:23 CJB “Therefore subject yourselves to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded!” James 4:7-8 LEB “But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these defile the person. For from the heart come evil plans, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, abusive speech. These are the things that defile a person. But eating with unwashed hands does not defile a person!” Matthew 15:18-20 LEB So we can see, trusting our hearts can be dangerous business. Our hearts follow in line with moods, emotional outbursts, over passionate relationships that aren't healthy, and a myriad of other "defiling" behaviors. In the verses above we are told to not trust our hearts, guard our hearts, purify our hearts, and Yeshua Jesus Christ Himself tells us things come out of the heart such as: evil plans, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, and abusive speech. Why in the world would we trust our hearts?! The answer, definitively, is that we shouldn't. So how do we fight against this "deceitful heart" we have been given? With a disciplined, Word Filled, and Transformed Mind. We will talk more about this tomorrow and throughout “The 40 Days of Elul.” Today, I encourage everyone to evaluate the decisions they have made with their heart. What was the outcome? Where did it lead? Have the decisions you made based on passion helped or hurt your prosperity in Christ? Have you told a friend or your children to follow their heart? Has someone told you recently to follow your heart? Beware, the enemy is prowling around. I pray that we all start to question the fake wisdom this world is providing and begin looking towards The Truth. When we arm ourselves with Truth, God's Word, the enemy's deception is easy to spot. With God's Word as our guide, we can all begin to lead more Love Filled, Prosperous, and Peaceful Lives. God Bless everyone and have a Great-God-Almighty-Filled week! |
