Good Morning Sunday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that You HELP us to get to KNOW You, and to TRUST You more, not only this day, but everyday hereafter. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's Name. Amen. - TRUST: The Word of Yahweh Trust is something that is a must for a follower of Yeshua, Jesus Christ. One fundamental element of being able to Trust God Our Father and Jesus is getting to know Him. We have all met someone for the first time and thought: "I just don't know about this person." Why do we say that? Because we don't know them and have no basis for trust. As we look at a few key verses from The Bible this morning, let us evaluate the Trust we have in Our Father and Savior. The Bible is one continuous story about how trustworthy Our God is, and how we can Trust Him in every moment of our lives. As we read these wonderful and powerful verses from The Bible let's strive to get to know Our Father better so that we can put our Trust In Him. He Is Worthy, He Is Good, and He Can Be Trusted... fully. I encourage you to make it a point to memorize one, two, or all of these short verses about how We Can Trust Our Father. You might be surprised at when Our Father’s Word pops into your head during the day. You may have an opportunity to encourage a Brother or Sister with one of the verses today, or maybe Our Father will use them to reveal His Will for you. I pray these verses encourage, edify, and strengthen you. May God Bless Each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen and may God Our Father move mightily in your life today. I pray this for each and everyone of you in The Name of Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen. Now without further delay... The Word of God. Trust In Him: * Please Note: The Name of God, YAHWEH, has been placed in these verses and is not included in most Bibles. It is the transliteration of The Name of God, YHWH, from the original Hebrew Bible Scriptures, and has been replaced with "The LORD" in almost all copies of our English Bibles. If we want to Trust God, we need to Know Him, and knowing and using His Name is a good place to start. If you would like to read more Scripture with Our Father’s Name, The Lexham English Bible (LEB) is a great translation to use. The World English Bible also uses Yahweh. We will include the Lexham English Bible translation with our verses today. “YAHWEH (YHWH,The LORD) will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14 NIV “Yahweh will fight for you, and you must be quiet.” Exodus 14:14 LEB “Not a word failed of any good thing which YAHWEH (YHWH, The LORD) had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.” Joshua 21:45 NKJV “And nothing failed from all the good things that Yahweh promised to the house of Israel; everything came to pass.” Joshua 21:45 LEB “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember The Name of YAHWEH (YHWH, The LORD) our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. Save, YAHWEH (YHWH, LORD)! May The King answer us when we call.” Psalms 20:7-9 NKJV “Some boast in chariots and others in horses, but we boast in The Name of Yahweh, our God. They will collapse and fall, and we will rise and stand firm. Rescue, O Yahweh. Let The King answer us when we call.” Psalms 20:7-9 LEB “Delight yourself also in YAHWEH (YHWH,The LORD), And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to YAHWEH (YHWH, The LORD), Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.” Psalms 37:4-5 NKJV “Take pleasure in Yahweh as well, and He will give to you the requests of your heart. Commit to Yahweh your way; Trust also on Him and He will act. Then He will bring forth your righteousness like the light, and your justice like the noonday.” Psalms 37:4-6 LEB “The steps of a good man are ordered by The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) upholds him with His Hand.” Psalms 37:23-24 NKJV “The steps of a man are established by Yahweh, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he fall, he will not be cast headlong, for Yahweh supports him with His Hand.” Psalms 37:23-24 LEB “It is better to trust in YAHWEH (The LORD) Than to put confidence in man.” Psalms 118:8 NKJV “It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to trust princes. All nations surrounded me. In the name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed. They surrounded me; yes, they surrounded me. In The Name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed. They surrounded me like bees; they were extinguished like a fire of thorns. In The Name of Yahweh I opposed them indeed. You pushed me hard to make me fall, but Yahweh helped me. Yah is my strength and my song, and He has become My Salvation (Yeshua, Jesus).” Psalms 118:8-14 LEB

Good Morning Sabbath Day…
Father, thank you for this NEW SABBATH DAY. ENLIGHTEN our minds WITH TRUTH. INFLAME our hearts WITH LOVE. INSPIRE our will WITH COURAGE. ENRICH our lives WITH SERVICE. PARDON us for what we have been. SANCTIFY what we are. It is YOUR GLORY FATHER, and our ETERNAL SALVATION through Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST, Our King, Messiah, and LORD of our lives. We praise you, ask Your Forgiveness for our transgressions against You, and request these things in His Mighty Name, just as You have shown us is The Way. Amen. - Let’s Keep Our Eyes On The Prize... Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ) Is The Prize We have wonderful examples of Faith to inspire us in our daily journey everywhere in The Word... But we must Keep Our Eyes On Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Sometimes it can be an easy thing to get discouraged when we encounter trouble. We are all susceptible to carrying around "baggage" that will slow us down. With so much going on in the world, and our lives, we can quickly be distracted, taking our eyes off Our Savior, and focusing on our problems. We have to be careful of this because that is precisely the enemies's plan. The evil one knows Our King, Jesus, is The One that is going to usher us into a better place, and the ol lawless one doesn’t like this. We must all be careful and remember: We have a Wonderfully Awesome Father. And Our Father Will Correct us and Discipline us to get us "back on track." Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Love Us and Want The Very Best For us. Everyone who has had a good earthly father knows that they were not afraid to discipline us... and neither is Our Heavenly Father. The Way Back To God Our Father Is Always Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Knowing this, it is very important to remember: no matter how wonderful Our Father's stories about any of His Servants, the reason for all these stories is to point us to The One, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. He is The Finisher Of Our Faith, Our Intercessor, The Judge, The Perfect Example, and So Much More. When things seem to be tough, when Our Merciful Father is correcting us, when we get distracted... We Need Only Look To Jesus Christ Our Savior and Protector. The Scriptures tell us "seek and you shall find," "ask and you shall receive," and "knock" because Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King... waits at the door to lead us to the next adventure. May we all remember to keep our eyes on the prize, and let us make no mistake about it... Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ Our Savior, Is The Prize. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, if there is anything taking our focus off of You, please correct us and help us to focus back on You. A gentle rebuke from You is so much better than what this cruel world will give us. Please give us all a heart to listen to You, to hear what You are saying, and to always look to Our Savior and Your Perfect Example For Us. Father give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and a heart to obey. Thank You, we Love You, and bless You forever. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ The King's Name we pray. Amen. Fuel For The Soul: “All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.” I Corinthians 10:23-24 “My son, do not despise the chastening of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Nor detest His correction; For whom The LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.” Proverbs 3:11-12 “If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?” Hebrews 12:7-9 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:7-12 Happy Sabbath and Shabbat Shalom Everyone! May Our Mighty God, Father, and Savior give you Rest and Peace… Part of The Gift of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ The King! Good Morning Finally Friday (Prep Day)…
FATHER, THANK YOU that in Your Anointed Son, we are chosen, set-apart (holy) and genuinely loved. When we are tempted to measure our lives according to the world's standards or our foolish comparisons, HELP US to recognize the enemy’s lies, refuse his temptations, avoid his snares, and RELY ON YOUR BEAUTIFUL TRUTH ABOUT WHO WE ARE instead,… SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD ALMIGHTY! IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s NAME we pray. AMEN! - A Servant’s Wisdom & The Source Part 42 Wisdom: “God Often Allows Our Hearts To Be Broken So That He Can Beautify Our Souls ” - Unknown The Source AKA The Word This Wisdom Came From: “Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I observe your word. You are good, and do good. Teach me your statutes. The proud have smeared a lie upon me. With my whole heart, I will keep your precepts. Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your Torah. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.” Psalms 119:67-71 WMB “For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we have set our trust in The Living God, who is The Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:10 WMB “Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;” Romans 5:3 WMB “In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.” Romans 8:26 WMB “He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.” Psalms 126:6 WMB “We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.” 1 Corinthians 4:12 WMB “Blessed be The God and Father of our LORD Yeshua The Messiah, The Father of Mercies and God of All Comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Messiah abound to us, even so our comfort also abounds through Messiah.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 WMB Prayer: • Dear Father God, Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for The Truth. Thank you for the wisdom, the protection, and the sanctification that You have poured out to us, Your Children, through Your Word. There is none like Your Word O’ Father, none so faithful, Loving, kind, merciful, and Holy. You put yourself last, for us, Bless Your Holy Name. Thank you for all our heartbreaks, because we know you are doing something much greater in us than we can now see. Thank You for always being there for us and offering us Good Fruit Through Yeshua. Help us to plant good things in others Father, for Your Word and for The Truth, so we may grow wise, serve as Yeshua served, and bring forth Good Fruit in this world. Help us to believe Your Word for our protection, safety, peace of mind, discipline, and for Good Growth. Finally Father, help us to put Your Word into practice, so that You may make us a Holy People. Let us never stop working towards Your Goal. Help us to understand all the ways You want us to prosper as we journey through this temporary life and move towards Your Eternal Life. Without You and Your Word, without Your Truth, The Truth, we have nothing. With You, Your Word, and Your Truth, we have everything. Show us Your Ways Father... Show us Your Love. Show us how to be last, plant seeds of Life, serve others, and not exalt ourselves, but take the form of servants to You and our fellow Brothers and Sisters. May We Bless You with Our Mouths, May we Glorify You with our thoughts, May we Love You with our actions, and May We Always Rely On Your Constant Faithfulness In Your Word, for We Know You Are True. Finally Father, help us to see Your Power in our weakness and Your beautification of our souls through our heartbreaks. Show us how to grow properly. Thank You Father... for everything. In Our King Yeshua’s Name, Jesus Christ, we pray these things to You Father. Amen! “For The Word of The Lord (YHVH, Yahweh) is right; and all His Work is done in faithfulness.” Psalm 33:4 AMPC “Listen to counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, That you may be wise in the time to come.” Proverbs 19:20 AMP “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:14-17 NIV Good Morning Thursday...

God Bless every one and have a Great God’s Will-Filled Thursday! The Word of God: “For I know the plans that I AM planning concerning you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for prosperity and not for harm, to give to you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 LEB “This is good and acceptable before God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of The Truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4 LEB “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” I Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV “For this is The Will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,” I Thessalonians 4:3-4 NKJV “The God of Shalom (Peace) brought up from the dead The Great Shepherd of the sheep, our LORD Yeshua, by The Blood of An Eternal Covenant. ABBA, God of The Entire Universe, THANK YOU that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You have said that You will fight for us while we remain still, TRUSTING IN YOU alone. May WE SEE Your VICTORY in our lives. KEEP US MINDFUL that there is no power greater than You, and that when we cling to You and stay in Your Will … nothing standing against us can prosper. SHOW US YOUR FAVOR Father, soften our hearts, and LEAD US IN THE WAY. WE ASK these things IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’S MIGHTY NAME. AMEN! - THE ROCK: Firm. Steady. Forever! Rock is strong. It can serve as shelter, protection, defense, and much more. In ancient days many cities were constructed with walls of rock. Over in Israel, Masada is an ancient fortress near the Dead Sea and is constructed on top of a very high rock formation. Its location made it extremely difficult, in fact...all most impossible, for enemies to reach. When we look in The Bible we find a number of stories of people taking refuge in The Rock when they are being chased by people, or wild animals. When David was young he hid from those trying to kill him in The Rock. During this time we read where David cried out to God: “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is My Rock, My Fortress and My Deliverer; My God is My Rock, in whom I take refuge." 2 Samuel 22:2-3 We see in another part of The Bible where God tucked Moses into a cleft in The Rock and covered him. God's Hand covered Moses to protect him from death as God's Glory passed by him. Who is "The Right Hand of God?" You guessed it, Our Savior Yeshua (Jesus) covers us and protects us, just as He did Moses in the cleft! He saves us from death just like Moses! Isn't it just amazing how He shows up... Everywhere in Our Father's Word. 😃🔥🙌Let's take a look: “And Moses said, “Please, show me Your Glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My Goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim The Name of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My Face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” And The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on The Rock. So it shall be, while My Glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of The Rock, and will cover you with My Hand while I pass by.” Exodus 33:18-22 There are many times in our lives when we need Our Father and Savior’s protection. Let us all remember that God Our Father and Our Savior Yeshua is a safe place in difficult, distressing, and dangerous times. He will cover us with His Hand. We need only remember that God Our Father Is... THE ROCK: Firm. Steady. Forever! Dear Father, help us to remember to come to You, The Rock, when we are in distress. We know that You Shelter, Protect, and offer us a safe place to retreat. We love You, we praise You, and we recognize You as our Rock, Fortress, Savior, and Deliverer. Cover us with Your Mighty Right Hand, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our Salvation, and the performer of all Your Good Works. Guide us to You so that we may take refuge not only in our distress, but also in all the joys of this life You Give. In The Name of Your Hand That Covers Us...Your Mighty Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen! Our Father and Savior Bless You all and have a Great Rock-Filled Wednesday! Good Morning Happy Tuesday…
FATHER thank You for this new day. When we don’t understand… HELP US to trust You, UNDERSTANDing that YOU HAVE A PATH that is MEANT FOR OUR GOOD. HELP US to do what we already KNOW we should do. HELP US to not get frustrated. Help is to not be fearful, but to TRUST in YOU today. IN YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. - Look Up and Live! Are We Paying Attention? The story of Moses at the Burning Bush is an intriguing one in God Our Father’s Holy Word. At first glance it would seem straight forward, Moses see a bush burning and the bush not being consumed so he "checks it out." But is there more lying under the surface? Let's take a look and see: “Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, The Mountain of God. And The Angel of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” So when The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Exodus 3:1-4 NKJV It seems that Moses was doing a little more than just wandering around aimlessly in order to receive this awesome revelation from Our Father. He is obviously tending/leading the flock, and taking them to Horeb "The Mountain of God" which is definitely a picture of Our Messiah Jesus, but he is also doing something else. He is paying attention. He was aware of his surroundings and of God. Where many would have seen a bush on fire in the desert and dismissed it as a heat fire because of harsh conditions and dryness, it is written that Moses said: “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” He saw something strange and didn't turn his attention away ignoring it. His attention was an action item. A decided choice to journey closer to something he didn't understand fully, but a choice nonetheless. He chose to pay attention to God Speaking to him. Living in a world with a myriad of distractions seemingly every minute of the day has presented us with major problems. Society does not have the attention span it once had. Today's fast paced world is constantly tempting us to handle what we think is "urgent" and not what is truly meaningful. Moses was not only paying attention to the meaningful, but also to his surroundings. Are we paying attention to the meaningful? Are we aware of the company we keep, the places we are visiting, and the impact it has on us to pay attention to the meaningful? Are our lives filled with constant distractions from social media and communication with others? Is this leaving The Spirit of God That Calls To Us All to be ignored? Moses was aware of The Spirit of God, and his surroundings. It was here that Moses received his calling from God and replied "Here I am." He saw a miraculous sight where many may have ignored or been distracted with the anxieties, busyness, or the concerns of the world and this life. If we were to truly pick a thing, say color or a number, and really pay attention throughout a day to see where we would see that color or number pop up...Do you think we would see that color or number a lot? Of course we would. When we pay attention we notice things we might normally not. Ever gotten a new vehicle, whether new or used, and then noticed that vehicle everywhere you go? Of course. In the same way, what would happen if we were to truly pay attention to God Our Father and notice what He is doing in our lives, other's lives, and the world around us? Too often we remain oblivious to the things that Our Father is doing in our lives, and for a variety of reasons. It may be work, kids, social media, a gambling addiction, a drinking addiction, text messages, errands to run, or a myriad of other things, but it still holds the same... something is distracting us from the meaningful, from God's Spirit, and focusing our attention on something else. With our eyes focused on these "other things" such as comfort, busyness, or efficiency, we stand the chance of totally missing the Higher Things Of God and His Kingdom. Moses didn't let his attention drift from the meaningful or The Spirit of God. He paid attention, took notice, investigated, and answered God with a "here I am." He was focused and paying attention. It was that simple. He dropped what he was doing in the field with the flock, and sought to find out what God Was Doing in his life. This is when The Living God Lifted Up Moses To Go On A Grand Adventure And Used Him To Do Mighty Works. If we pay attention to Our Father Above, take notice, and don't get distracted with all that is happening around us in the world... Will He do the same with us? May we all take notice today at our own burning bushes and come closer to really see what God Our Father is planning for us. Prayer: Dear Father, today's world is a mad house. We see all the things going on in this world and sometimes our small attention spans seem to get distracted by everything. Please help us to pay attention and see what You Are Accomplishing In Our Lives and what Mighty Works You Want Us To Accomplish Through Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Abba, we know making mighty men and women of us is a simple thing for You. At but a Breath From Your Mouth All Things Are Accomplished. We know this. Please help us to pay more attention to You and What You Are Doing so that we may be a better influence and have a stronger impact on this world through You and Your Son. Help us to Live In Him, Through Him, and With Him along with the Power of Your Holy Spirit. We Love You. We Thank You. And We Praise You For Being The One True Living God Who Lifts Us From Our Weaknesses. We ask all these things in The Name Above All Names, Your Perfect Son, and Our Savior, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ's Holy Name. Amen. Good Morning Monday…
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. We have GRATEFUL HEARTS for all You Do. Thank You for the extraordinary gifts in our lives and the EXTRAORDINARY LOVE you share with us in YOUR WORD FATHER. Your Word NOURISHES OUR HEARTS AND MINDS. FATHER, LEAD US away from false prophets, strengthen us to endure trials, and lead us TOWARD YOUR NARROW GATE. In praise, we pray in YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's Name. Amen! - Want Strong Faith? You Need A Word-Filled Diet Romans 10:17 states: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 For us to completely comprehend this verse we, who have been born again, must understand that Faith was implanted in us by Our Father when we were saved. Faith should be a part of us. It should run through The Life in our veins and is in fact part of our spiritual DNA now. Faith is something that Our Father has already given to us after our conversion. Let's get a witness from God's Word on that.: “For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” Romans 12:3 So, God Our Father has given "each one a measure of faith." Now, it is up to each and every one of us to develop that Faith and do something with it. We must first develop that Faith by "hearing The Word of God." The Bible, God's Word, IS our spiritual food. If we understand Mathew 18:18 we can begin to understand that we must feed upon our spiritual food and our Faith will be strengthened. Lets take a look at Matthew 18:18: “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18 We must "bind" The Word to ourselves here and it will be "bound" to us in heaven. If we "loose" that word here on earth, it will be "loosed" to our Brothers and Sisters in heaven as well. God's Word is our food, if we feed upon it... our Faith will be strengthened. Let's get a few witnesses here: “Therefore you shall lay up these words of Mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.” Deuteronomy 11:18 “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of The Father, full of Grace and Truth.” John 1:14 “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, EAT; this is My Body.” Matthew 26:26 Take a look at cross fit trainers or body builders who are constantly working out to build muscle and endurance. You will find a common thread when you ask them about their performance. Diet. Every intense physical training athlete will tell you, you must have the right kind of diet to build the muscles in your body up. A protein heavy diet is most common among muscle builders. These athletes, in a very faithful manner, eat tuna, drink protein shakes, and add various other protein rich products to there diet. These athletes consume this protein, digest it, and it is the ingredient that helps them build muscle and train their bodies for performance. As each of us consume God's Word and take time to digest it properly, God's Truth becomes The Ingredient that builds our Faith. When we eat “The Bread of Life” we also begin to have optimal performance of our minds, growing our Faith even more. God's Word is the food of Faith. It is apparent, therefore, when a person struggles with Faith, it is a matter of diet. Feeding on the wrong things can be counterproductive for our faith, just as a diet of cookies and candy bars would be counterproductive for an athlete. Our Faith comes, even if we don't see it at first, by feeding upon God's Word. Brothers and Sisters, if any of us is struggling with our faith, we must change our diet. God's Word Is… The Perfect Food of Faith. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 May all of us start feeding on God's Word Today! “Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it. ” When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” Matthew 8:5-10 God Bless Everybody and have a Great-God- Yahweh-Yeshua-Ha’Mashiach-Filled Week! Good Morning Salvation Sunday…
Dear FATHER GOD, we believe we exist only because of You and we want to THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF LIFE. It isn’t always the way we think it should be, but Life is amazing and it all comes from You. YOU HAVE BLESSED US WITH wonderful people and things in our lives, particularly YOUR SON AND YOUR SALVATION. We are eternally grateful for everything You’ve provided for us. WITH much THANKSGIVING from Your Sons and Daughters WE PRAY IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF YOUR SALVATION AND OUR MESSIAH YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Amen. - Resolve: Stability In The Truth - Standing Firm “that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking The Truth in Love, may grow up in all things into Him who is The Head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in Love. This I say, therefore, and testify in The Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from The Life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as The Truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in The Spirit of Your Mind, and that you put on The New Man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:14-24 For the 1st century Christians... life was tough. They were hunted, looked down upon, seen as crazy, no fun prudes. They were seen as different than "normal" society because they didn't participate in the religion of the roman empire. They lived in a tumultuous territory were everything was about roman life and that wasn't their world anymore. Their world was now, The Kingdom of God. Do you ever feel that way as a Christian, as someone who believes in God Our Father and His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ? That you really don’t belong to this world? That everything is different now, changing, or has changed? With technology seemingly changing over night, darkness in the world, terrorism, viruses, changing moral values in society... The world can feel like a pretty scary place. That doesn't matter though. Know why? Because although the world is always on the move and constantly changing... The Word of God Always Stays The Same. We no longer have to be thrown back and forth, tossed by the changes or deceived by the tricks and craftiness of people. As believers we live for The Truth, Speak Truth, and Rally For Truth in everything we do, because with God, we are rooted in The Truth... and Stable. We can be confident because we have a relationship with The Only One True and Living God. He is on our side, and we get this amazing relationship through Faith in His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, AKA The Word Of God. Prayer: Dear Father God, we live in Your Kingdom. We have faith in You and Your Son whom You Sent for us. Help us to also deal with this world while we are here and help us draw others, more family members, to You. Thank you for this morning, for restoring breath in our lungs, for waking us, and for Your Mercy. Thank You for never changing and strengthening us so that we may be stable and have resolve, standing firm in The Truth. We Love You, We Praise You, and We Thank You Always for showing us a new and better way... The Way... Your Way. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Stable and Powerful Name we pray. Amen. Good Morning Sabbath Peace...
Father Thank You for Your REST. Thank You for Your Day. Help us to “see” You in all things, the challenges and the triumphs. Please give us PEACE ON THIS Your SABBATH DAY. IN YESHUA Ha'Mashiach, JESUS CHRIST OUR MIGHTY MESSIAH AND LORD OF THE SABBATH’s Name we pray. AMEN. A big thank you to berean.org and our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, for today's devotion. God Bless You My Brothers and Sisters, Happy Sabbath, and Shabbat Shalom (Sabbath Divine Peace/Completeness/Wholeness)! - A Berean Breakdown: The Sabbath - A Memorial - Mark 2:27-28 "And He said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for The Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also LORD of The Sabbath." Mark 2:27-28 A number of important aspects are of note here. The first is that the Sabbath was not made for its own sake, as with the other days of the week, but with the specific purpose of being a service to mankind. An alternate translation is that it was made "on account of man." The Sabbath, then, is a specific, thoughtful gift of the Creator to serve His creation. If it were to be used by mankind merely for physical rest, any one of the seven days of the week would be acceptable. Yet, God set apart the seventh day specifically and linked it to creation (Genesis 2:1-3). Therefore, God's purpose in establishing the Sabbath is primarily to support man's part in God's spiritual creation. Such use goes far beyond mere bodily rest. A second item is that God made the Sabbath for humanity, not just for the Jews. As God created it, its intention is universal. He made it to ensure mankind's physical and spiritual well-being. A third point is that Jesus claims the authority as its Lord to teach us how to keep it, not whether to keep it. Both the immediate context and the gospels as a whole show that Jesus expected it to be kept and offered no alternatives. Nations routinely honor citizens they believe have made significant contributions to the well-being of their people, and they often do this by setting apart a day as a memorial to them so that others will remember their contributions. For example, in this nation George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King have been so honored. God says in Exodus 31:13: "Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you." By God's own words, He is memorialized and therefore honored by our observance of the Sabbath (the day we call Saturday). Compared to any man, God's contributions to the well-being of every living thing are beyond counting, but one stands out as witness to all: He is Creator. What an awesome statement to consider. Everything in and on this fantastic, floating greenhouse we call Earth is a tribute to and witnesses of His genius, power, and loving providence. Mankind, on the other hand, has yet to create its first flea! Yet, if a man did create one, how much publicity would he want? What honors might he demand? Good Morning Faithful Friday...
Father God, may we BE GRATEFUL for our lot, and COMPASSIONATE TOWARD ALL those who are suffering every kind of distress during these difficult days. May we hold back nothing, and hasten to be a people who MINISTER PRAYER, MERCY, AND LOVE like Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and Your Apostles who went about DOING GOOD IN TIMES OF NEED. We ask this IN YESHUA, Jesus Christ OUR MESSIAH’S MIGHTY AND BLESSED NAME. Amen! - Outrageous! Part 3 The world will tell us we are outrageous for giving our lives to Yeshua, Jesus Christ. It’s sad, but the worldly are fine embracing His concepts and commandments when it benefits them or serves their agenda, but say something along the lines of “women and men should dress like women and men,” as The Bible states, and you may be called a bigot, a hypocrite, a racist, transphobic, or a plethora of other self serving, entitled, misguided and insulting names. The Truth is that Yeshua loves us no matter what. He is kind, gentle, humble, and loving, but let’s make no mistake, He wants us to tell The Truth. Of course He wants us to do it in Love, but He no doubt wants us to stand for Him. Standing for Him and telling The Truth, whether others agree with it or not, is showing Love. The prophets, apostles, and Jesus Christ Himself weren’t killed because they were lying or because they were affirming the lies of the world, they were killed by people who were outraged with The Truth… The Truth that contradicted the lies they had created and built there lives upon. A simple, unchangeable Truth is this: The Truth is The Truth whether we like it or not. Now, if we will accept The Truth, Our Messiah assures us that His Yoke is easy, and His burden is light. He invites us all, wherever we may be mentally or physically to: “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I Am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My Yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 With that Truth stated, it is also important to remember: “… our “God is a consuming fire.”” Hebrews 12:29 When God’s Word tells us that He will “refine us as silver. And test us as gold (Zachariah 13:9 (Among others)),” He is letting us know who and what He Is. Refining silver and testing gold requires FIRE. Fire also, in many places in The Bible, represents knowledge and Truth. The Fire that comes from Yeshua’s Mouth and the two witnesses in Revelation is Truth. While actual fire may come from their mouths, it will be for Truth’s sake, and we can have no doubts… they will be spreading The Truth. Yeshua is, was, and always will be Our Teacher, King, and Master. While He is gentle, humble, and kind, He will still “put us in our place” when needed. This is because He Loves us, and not in spite of that Love. Just as a loving parent corrects a child from doing something that could severely hurt them, Our Messiah corrects us because He wants us to know Him, The Truth, fully. He Loves us, and because He doesn’t want this world to hurt our Eternal Souls, He gives correction. Now let’s be clear about this series, not all outrage is bad, in fact Yeshua Himself became outraged in Scripture. His outrage was because those in The Temple were being… well… outrageous. Let’s take a look: “Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” He said to them, “ ‘My House will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.” Matthew 21:12-13 His outrage came from Him being zealous for The House of God, just as prophecy states in Psalm 69:9 and The Apostle John confirms in his writing in John 2:17. Let’s take a look at the psalm: “for zeal for Your House consumes me, and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.” Psalms 69:9 He was outraged by the corruption, the worldliness, and the evil practices going on inside “His Father’s House.” There are other times when Our Messiah called people names such as “hypocrite, whitewashed tombs, and children of the devil.” His reason for doing this? Because the people He was speaking to, religious leaders, were using religion to oppress, bully, control, and abuse people. Heck, He even called one of His Best Friends “satan” for trying to tempt Him with comfort rather than being faithful, and power rather than dying to self. If you recall, this is exactly what satan offered Yeshua in the wilderness. Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King, had times where He became outraged. What He didn’t do though, was act outrageous. He acted in accordance with all The Bible teaches us, and all Our Father affirms. Something we should all take note of as well, is that each and every time He showed His Outrage, who was it towards? His people. Those who claimed The Name of Our Father. Israel. The Church. Those who were in places of authority to teach His People. He did this because… judgment begins in The Household of God. Let’s take a look: “For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s Household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17 One day Yeshua will return. When He returns He will eliminate satan, abusers, purveyors of corruption, injustice, and evil. He let’s us know in Revelation 22:12 that He is going to give each person according to what they have done. In all the examples we have looked at today Our Messiah is teaching us something. He is showing us that there is nothing wrong with displaying anger and disapproval, but we must make sure that not only is this anger godly, but that it is righteous anger. Yeshua is giving us an example of how to “lose our cool” without losing our character, of how to be outraged, but not outrageous. In the right situation, when anger is wielded in a healthy manor and with Love, it can be a very powerful, productive, and Life-giving tool. What Yeshua didn’t do is use His anger to correct nonbelievers or sinners out of covenant that came to Him. Yeshua used His anger to correct those who knew better. How can someone be corrected with anger if they have never been taught correctly? Yeshua’s Perfect Example is what we should always follow. In conclusion: Yeshua gave His Life for us when we did not deserve it. Yeshua gave His Life for us not when we were “at our best,” but while we were still sinners. Christ died for us not for the moments we were loving, kind, gentle, compassionate, and humble, but for the moments we were abusive, wretched, evil, ungodly, and insulting. He died for us while we were actually crucifying Him ourselves. That is powerful. That is Love. Let’s recall “Our Weapon” which we went over on day 1 of this series… Our Weapon: We have A Set Apart, openly discernible way of seeing right and wrong. But not just anyway of doing it, a way that aligns with Our Creator. We don’t lean on ourselves anymore, instead we are gonna lean on Yahweh and His Son, The Word of God,The Holy and Set-Apart One of Israel and we do this in TRUTH. We can be outraged without being outrageous. We can be kind, gentle, and humble to those who don’t know better. Yeshua has given us the ability to put away the poisonous venom of the toxic outrage that has spread like cancer all across this fallen earth, and to express our anger in a manner that is motivated by Love, righteousness, and acting appropriately. As outrageous as it may sound to some… This is The Fruit and proof of Our King and Messiah’s Work in our lives. Extra Fuel For The Soul AKA The Bread of Life: “From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” Matthew 16:21-23 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I Am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My Yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 Extra Reading: Matthew 23:13-39 |
