Good Morning Wednesday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. Please impart in our hearts YOUR WILL. We ask for Patience, Kindness, Humility, and Truth so we may show You and Your Son's Light in this fallen world. In Yeshua, JESUS CHRIST's Name we pray. Amen. - Letting God Our Father Rule - The Way Daniel was in Babylon and set an amazing example for us today. He knew God was in control and no other. He lived this reality and because of it, his "paths were made straight (Proverbs 3:6)." Daniel saw God Our Father using Babylon as His Tool to correct His People. Daniel knew Nebuchadnezzar was God's servant whether the wicked king knew it or not. Daniel believed and lived knowing that God Is Sovereign in His Rule. We can see that Daniel wasn't respectful because king Nebuchadnezzar deserved it, but rather because Our Father Commanded it. Let's take a look where Our Father has Paul write about this: “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake.” Romans 13:1-5 While Our Father had Paul write these verses long after Daniel, it is clear that Daniel had been shown these precepts by God. His actions proved it. Much to our detriment, and very unfortunately, not many people share Daniel's attitude and actions when it comes to the people in authority over us today. We have all certainly heard excuses why responses like Daniel's to a godless master and society won't work today. These excuses don't justify what God Has Commanded Us To Do. Judged against Scripture, these excuses just don't hold up. Daniel, Joseph, Jeremiah, and a plethora of other Mighty Servants Of God all knew that Our Father wanted submission to authorities during their season of power. The season of power Our Father Had Placed Them In. Shouldn't we act in the same manner? So many people in this world are rebuking our authorities, speaking ill, and taking actions to oppose them that our society has run amuck. Hatred and rebellion are being produced on a mass scale and we, just like the prophets and mighty men of old, must practice humility, submit to our governing authorities, and live in peace with our society. God Has Spoken This and this is THE WAY to "Be A Light" to this fallen world. Humility and submission may not always pay dividends immediately, but they do pay generously. Daniel, Joseph, and The Prophets were given authority because of their submission and humility, not their rebellion. Rebelling is for people like Nimrod and we all know what happened to his rebellious tower project and "babbling" kingdom. Heck, even old Nebuchadnezzar had to eat grass for seven years when he rebelled. I don't know about you, but I chewed enough grass before following God's Ways and God's Rule... I do not want to go back. Daniel went above and beyond. He was kidnapped, made a eunuch, forced to study mystery religions and the occult, given a name that honored a demon, and forced to serve a pagan king. Sounds rough right? We can be sure none of us have had to put up with anything like that, so may we all look at Daniel's humble and submissive spirit and grow closer to Our Father through obedience. Certainly Daniel didn't know how things would turn out, but humility, faith, and submission to God Almighty resulted in The Glory of God and Daniel's supreme influence over the affairs of his society. Daniel did what was right not because it was going to pay dividends, and we can see his humble respect didn't pay off immediately. There was no gain in the short term for Daniel. So the question one may ask would be: Then why did he do it? The answer: Because God Said To, because it was the right thing to do, and because he Let God Rule. Prayer: Dear Father, please help us to humbly submit to our governing authorities without rebuke, anger, or judgment of their actions. Help us to set an example of humility and faithfulness to others as we bless and pray for our authorities. We know you place all men in their positions, they all work for You, and You will do what is best for us all. Bless You Father For Your Righteousness, Your Holiness, and for giving us what's best for us even when we can't see it so clearly. We Love You and we thank You for Your Eternal Wisdom and Sovereignty. Blessed Be Your Name, Reign, and Kingdom Forever and Ever. We pray these things in Your Most Prestigious, Faithful, Humble, and Wisest Servant, Your Son and Our King, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior's Name. Amen. God Our Father’s Ruling Word: “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:5-11 “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,” Philippians 2:14-15 “Therefore do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your soothsayers, or your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, “You shall not serve the king of Babylon.” For they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out, and you will perish. But the nations that bring their necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will let them remain in their own land,’ says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), ‘and they shall till it and dwell in it.” Jeremiah 27:9-11 “Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.” Titus 3:1-8 “The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.” I Peter 5:1-4 “And you shall know The Truth, and The Truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

Father thank You for this NEW day, strengthen us to walk in that You have already prepared. Show us which way to go and guide us with Your wisdom along the way. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. Our Father is truly amazing and I am constantly in awe of His perfection and Holiness. In trying to prepare a great devotion for The Day of Atonement, as Biblically described, I was having trouble putting all the concepts of this holiest of days into a simple, readable, and easy to understand manner for the very eclectic group of believers with which this devotion is shared... in stepped Our Father. He blew me away. He showed me that the bigger question for most is: “should Christians celebrate The Day of Atonement?” He showed me the question, and then gave the answer. The following 2 devotions are what He used His servants to relay to me and now to you. Our Father and Savior is always “right on time,” and no doubt He came through for the readers of this devotion and me today in perfect fashion. I pray you enjoy the following as much as I have. A big thank you to first Our Father Who Is In Heaven and Our King Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and secondly to Brother Larry Good and tomorrowsworld.org. A special thank you to Roderick C. Meredith (1930-2017) who wrote the second devotion on tomorrwsworld.org. God Bless every one of you reading this and may the Glory and Light of Our Father and Savior radiate from you on this very special day. Our Father answers personal prayers and may we praise Him for it! Have a wonderful Father-and-Son-Filled Day and have a wonderful, blessed Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur! Devotion #1 From Brother Larry Good This Morning: - Heard God Through Others? The Spirit of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) speaks by me; His word is on my tongue—2 Samuel 23:2 God Speaks through His people. He empowers us as agents to carry His Message—as Ananias did to Saul, as Cornelius did to Peter (and Peter did back to Cornelius). This method, human agency, is the second of God’s two preferred methods of communicating with us. Examples of it abound in Scripture. And, of course, Scripture itself is an example: the Biblical authors were His agents in communicating His Precious Word to us. How does it work? Well, while God uses His still, small voice to reach us directly, speaking into our minds, originating thoughts there instantly, He uses that very same voice to also reach us indirectly—that is, by speaking directly into the minds of others, directing a few of their thoughts, and then allowing them to use their spoken or written words to take His Message the rest of the way, to us. It may be that one of us, one in need of hearing from God, isn’t used to hearing from Him, or doesn’t recognize His voice or just isn’t listening . . . or maybe doesn’t want to listen. Whatever the reason, it’s clear that God uses people who are listening and do want to hear to reach others who need to hear. It could be the inspired words of a pastor in the pulpit or the encouraging words of a friend at a coffee shop or the challenging words of a friend in a small group . . . or any one of many, many other possibilities. Okay, so what do we do? Do you want to hear God’s voice? Does your busy calendar allow for it? Think about these questions and commit to figuring out how to begin to answer them affirmatively. Devotion #2 From tomorrowsworld.org and Roderick C. Meredith Sent To Me Today: - Should Christians Observe The Day Of Atonement? (Comment on this article: Many of you are aware that Jewish people around the world will begin observing The Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur in the Hebrew language, at sunset on Sunday, September 27th this year. It is a day of fasting during which many Jewish people all around the world abstain totally from food and water for a full 24 hours, humbling themselves before God. But did you know that many thousands of true Christians all over the world are also observing the Day of Atonement? Why would they do that?) The answer is simple. They are following the scriptural example of the New Testament Church. The church of the Apostles continued to observe the annual holy days established by God in the Old Testament, including the Day of Atonement. In the first century after the death, burial, and resurrection of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Bible records the beginning of the Christian Church on another Holy Day, the Day of Pentecost. The Apostle Peter spoke to the assembled Jews on that day. As a result of his preaching, 3,000 people were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and the New Testament Church began under the leadership of the Apostles. Should Christians in this day and age keep the Day of Atonement? Yes, they should! Jesus and the Apostles continued to observe the holy days instituted by God. On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus observed the Passover with his Apostles and instituted the New Testament Passover symbols, which Christians understand to be symbolic of Christ, the true Passover Lamb. Jesus also observed the fall holy day season, including the Feast of Tabernacles (See John chapter 7). In fact, the New Testament Church began on an annual Sabbath—Pentecost. Read the second chapter of the book of Acts in your Bible. The Day of Atonement is referred to in Acts 27:9 as “the Fast,” because the Day was observed by fasting to humble oneself before God. Let’s understand! The key question Christians need to ask themselves is simply: “Am I following the example of Jesus Christ and the Apostles?” They set us an example of true Christianity—and that way of life is recorded in your Bible. The very foundation of true Christianity is defined in Ephesians 2:19–20. Notice, “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone.” Yes, true Christians continue to follow the example of Christ and the Apostles, even in the 21st century. On the Day of Atonement, Christians humble themselves before God remembering the awesome sacrifice of the Lamb of God, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, whose blood atoned for our sins. The Hebrew word for Atonement, kapar, literally means “to cover over.” Our death penalty has been paid for us, and our sins have been buried, or “covered over.” The Day of Atonement also looks forward to the time when the whole world will have the same opportunity for forgiveness and reconciliation. That future time, tomorrow’s world, will usher in the rulership of the King of kings, Jesus of Nazareth—a time when all peoples and nations will submit to the Kingdom of God on earth. The Day of Atonement also signifies the time when the god of this world, satan the devil (Ephesians 2:2) will be expelled and restrained for a thousand years. It is a supremely important and meaningful day to Christians. Everyone needs forgiveness, because everyone has sinned. We urge you to deeply examine your life. Jesus and the apostles commanded everyone to repent and believe the Gospel. One major emphasis of the true gospel is that our forgiveness is made possible through the sacrifice of Christ and His shed blood. On the Day of Atonement, we deeply consider all that this day pictures in regard to our own personal lives now, as well as in tomorrow’s world when peace will be established and humanity will be at one with God. To learn more about this important annual festival, read our informative free booklet, The Holy Days: God’s Master Plan. - https://www.tomorrowsworld.org/commentary/should-christians-observe-the-day-of-atonement The Referenced Word Of Our Father In Heaven: “The Spirit of Yahweh speaks through me, and His Word is upon my tongue.” 2 Samuel 23:2 “And because considerable time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous because even The Fast was already over, Paul strongly recommended,” Acts 27:9 “So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;” Ephesians 2:19-20 “You were made alive when you were dead in transgressions and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience; among whom we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;” Ephesians 2:1-7 “It shall be a statute to you forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and shall do no kind of work, the native-born, or the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you: for on this day shall atonement be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins you shall be clean before Yahweh (YHWH). It is a Sabbath of solemn rest to you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever. The priest, who is anointed and who is consecrated to be priest in his father’s place, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen garments, even the holy garments. Then he shall make atonement for the Holy Sanctuary; and he shall make atonement for the Tent of Meeting and for the altar; and he shall make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly. “This shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make atonement for the children of Israel once in the year because of all their sins.” It was done as Yahweh (YHWH,The LORD) commanded Moses.” Leviticus 16:29-34 “Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Surely the Day of Atonement is on the tenth day of the seventh month; it shall be a holy assembly for you, and you shall deny yourselves, and you shall present an offering made by fire to Yahweh.” Leviticus 23:26-27 “Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and the earthly sanctuary. For a tent was prepared, the first one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the presentation of the loaves, which is called the holy place. And after the second curtain was a tent called the holy of holies, containing the golden incense altar and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which were a golden jar containing the manna and the rod of Aaron that budded and the tablets of the covenant. And above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, about which it is not now possible to speak in detail. Now these things having been prepared in this way, the priests enter into the first tent continually as they accomplish their service, but only the high priest enters into the second tent once a year, not without blood, which he offers on behalf of himself and the sins of the people committed in ignorance. The Holy Spirit was making this clear, that the way into the holy place was not yet revealed, while the first tent was still in existence, which was a symbol for the present time, in which both the gifts and sacrifices which were offered were not able to perfect the worshiper with respect to the conscience, concerning instead only food and drink and different washings, regulations of outward things imposed until the time of setting things right. But Christ has arrived as a high priest of the good things to come. Through the greater and more perfect tent not made by hands, that is, not of this creation, and not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered once for all into the most holy place, obtaining eternal redemption. thus also Christ, having been offered once in order to bear the sins of many, will appear for the second time without reference to sin to those who eagerly await him for salvation.” Hebrews 9:1-12, 28 Here, Have A Drink. (Elul: Day 39) (Day 9 of The 10 Days of Awe) (The Eve of THE DAY OF ATONEMENT)9/27/2020 Good Morning Sunday (Atonement Eve)...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that you cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. We ask this in YOUR PERFECT SON YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's NAME, Amen. Wisdom: The Greatness of God teaches us fear, but The Goodness of God teaches us Love. Witness: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17 - Here, Have A Drink. (Elul: Day 39) (Day 9 of The 10 Days of Awe) (Tomorrow Is THE DAY OF ATONEMENT, The Biblical Holiest Day of The Year) Before many go on their fast tomorrow for THE DAY OF ATONEMENT, denying themselves as Biblically prescribed, it is a wise thing to make sure you are hydrated. I pray this devotion does the job. I believe it will, after all... it is the purest water on the face of the earth. Do you feel a little empty? Parched? Dry? Well, it just so happens Our Father Has Just The Cure. He Penned It "Washing Of Water By The Word." Take a deep breath. Sit back and relax. And... Have A Drink 1.) The Word (Yeshua, Jesus) Is The Water And Produces Water That Not Only Lives, But Also Flows Like A River. It's Very Clean And Good To Drink Straight From The Source: “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”” John 7:37-38 2.) Peter's Water Was Washed With The Word (Yeshua, Jesus). Then He Was Was Washed By The Word, With Water. All While He Drank The Water Straight From The Source. At First Peter Denied The Water Washing, But When Yeshua Told Him He Couldn't Have Any More Water Or Bread If He Didn't Let The Word Wash Him... He Begged For Extra Washing!: "Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”” John 13:7-9 3.) The Word (Yeshua, Jesus) Washes The Church Waters: "that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,” Ephesians 5:26 4.) Don't Make The Mistake Of Forsaking The Word (Yeshua, Jesus), For He Is The Fountain Of Living Water: “O LORD, the hope of Israel, All who forsake You shall be ashamed. “Those who depart from Me Shall be written in the earth, Because they have forsaken the LORD, The fountain of living waters.”” Jeremiah 17:13 5.) Remember, Others Are Thirsty Too, So Share Your Drink. You Never Know Who May Need Some: "Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”” John 4:10 "Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”” John 4:13-14 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;” Matthew 25:34-35 6.) The Word Gives Water To Us All Individually Where We Are. Always Make Sure You Bring Your Canteen and That Your Well Is Easily Accessible: "Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.” Proverbs 5:15 7.) Now That You Have Quenched Your Thirst... Make Sure And Share Some Bread, Fruit, And Water With Another. It May Be Someone Who Hasn't Ever Had Good Fruit, Living Bread, And Water From The Word (Yeshua, Jesus). They May Have Been Drinking Bad Water, Bad Fruit, And Rotten Bread From The World That Has Made Them Sick. They May Need To Be Refreshed And Strengthened. Then, You Never Know... They May Be Able To Help You With A Problem You Have Been Dealing With. It Worked For David: "Then they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David; and they gave him bread and he ate, and they let him drink water. And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs and two clusters of raisins. So when he had eaten, his strength came back to him; for he had eaten no bread nor drunk water for three days and three nights. Then David said to him, “To whom do you belong, and where are you from?” And he said, “I am a young man from Egypt, servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me behind, because three days ago I fell sick. We made an invasion of the southern area of the Cherethites, in the territory which belongs to Judah, and of the southern area of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.” And David said to him, “Can you take me down to this troop?” So he said, “Swear to me by God that you will neither kill me nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will take you down to this troop.” And when he had brought him down, there they were, spread out over all the land, eating and drinking and dancing, because of all the great spoil which they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah. Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled. So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all.” I Samuel 30:11-19 I pray that each and every one of you on the other side of this screen have a Great, God-Blessed Day. Shalom everybody and make sure to stay hydrated out there... its gonna be a scorcher! 💦🍞🙌 Good Morning Sabbath...
Father thank You for this new day, Your Day that You have made to spend time with us, Your children. Please continue to fill us with Your Love and Compassion as we go out into a fallen world. Let us be a Light in the darkness and use us to usher more Brothers and Sisters into Your Kingdom. In Yeshua's, Jesus Christ's, Name we pray. Amen. With only a couple of days left until Our Father’s Holiest Feast (Rehearsal) Day, let us heed The Word of God and: “Let us test and examine our ways; let us return to Yahweh. Let us lift up our hearts with our hands to God in the heavens.” Lamentations 3:40-41 - The Holy Feasts of Yahweh... And A Baby! (Elul: Day 38) (Day 8 of The 10 Days of Awe) Good morning everyone. I pray this is the beginning to a wonderful day for each and everyone of you. If it is not, be encouraged, because whatever you may be going through, you can bet Our Father is using it to accomplish something wonderful in you. Which brings me to today's devotion topic. Since we just celebrated The Feast of Trumpets and are nearing the Biblical Fall Feasts of The Day of Atonement, then The Feast of Tabernacles, it seems only fitting for us to take a look at how Our Father, in His Amazing Way, has connected His Holy Feasts with an amazing revelation of Life. Do you remember asking how a baby is made when you were young? If you are like me, you don't remember it, but you know you did. I find it quite amazing that we walk around and many times miss the amazing discoveries Our Kind and Loving Father has put right in front of our faces. I think Our Father used Paul to say it best: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His Eternal Power and Divine Nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” Romans 1:20 We don't have an excuse. No one does. It is right in front of our faces and all we need do is look. I would like to share a piece of literature with you all today that is just amazing. After reading this, if you didn't before, you will now see the "divine nature" of creation to which Paul is referring in the Biblical Holy Feasts. But beware! If you didn't know if Yahweh, or God, really existed, you will now. Guess where we find this amazing evidence? In your birth. My birth. In each and every baby that is born on this earth! Hope you are ready, because we are about to take a look at The Holy Feasts of Yahweh... And A Baby! Put on your helmets, get ready to smile, and enjoy my Brothers and Sisters. May Our Father In Heaven Bless You All! (*Please note: I did make some small modifications to the article, but all facts are the same) The 7 Feasts of the Lord & The Making of a Baby By J. R. Church Zola Levitt discovered an amazing correlation between the Seven Holy Feasts of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) and the gestation (development) of a human baby, from conception to birth. 1 “On the fourteenth day of the first month, the egg appears.” - This is the date of Passover —————-- 2 “The egg must be fertilized within 24 hours, or it will pass on.” - This is the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which happens on the day after Passover. 3 “Within two to six days, the fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the womb and begins to grow.” ————- - The Feast of First Fruits is observed anywhere from two to six days after Passover! The seed or grain that ”falls into the ground and dies,” produces a harvest, the first fruits of which are presented to God 4 At 50 days, the embryo shows arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, a head, eyes, etc. Around the fiftieth day, the embryo takes on the form of a human being. —————- That is Pentecost! That is the day the Israelites confirmed their covenant as the people of God. So with us, we are not complete in Christ, until we receive His Holy Spirit. ——————-- 5 The embryo at seven months: On the first day of the seventh month, the baby’s hearing is developed. For the first time, it can hear and distinguish sounds outside the womb. That is the date for Our Father’s Holy Feast of Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets is all about “hearing” the trumpets sound as we are blowing them and preparing. Preparing for what? Well, the trumpets are blown to let everyone know to prepare themselves, for the King is coming. We know He Is... ————-- 6 “On the tenth day of the seventh month, the hemoglobin of the blood changes from that of the mother, to a self-sustaining baby.” That’s the Day of Atonement, when the blood was taken into the Holy of Holies! Our bodies are now The Temple and it is Our Savior’s Life-Sustaining Blood that will keep us alive... eternally! —————- 7 “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the lungs become fully developed. If born before then, the baby would have had very difficult time breathing.” That’s the Festival of Tabernacles, a time of celebrating the Temple, home of the Glory or Spirit of God.” This is also the time when it is believed Yeshua, Jesus Christ, was born into His earthly tabernacle of flesh for us! This is when He would have taken His First Breath... The Holy Breath of God. In the New Testament, the Greek term pneuma, normally translated as “breath,” is applied to the “Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament it gets even better, because The Holy Spirit is translated from "Ruach Ha'Kodesh" and the literal translation is "Holy Breath of Yahweh" or "Holy Breath of God." What! That's Right! Birth takes place on the tenth day of the ninth month. Eight days after birth, in Hebrew families, this is always when a son is/was circumcised! The eight days of Hanukkah are celebrated, nine months and ten days after Passover. Can you believe that?! Amazing! There is a remarkable correlation between gestation period and the Seven Feasts or Holy Festivals of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), as was given to Moses by Yahweh, Our Father, Himself. Nothing designed by our Creator is an accident. Everything fits into a design or pattern... Perfectly. No human being knew the intricacies of the gestation period 3,500 years ago. This remarkable discovery proves the existence of an intelligence beyond this world. It proves that there is a Creator, God Our Father Who Art In Heaven, that guides and patterns the affairs of man. And... it’s just plain COOL! Praise Our Father and Savior for doing things... Perfectly. “Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Luke 18:27 HalleluYah! Told you you would smile. 😎🙌🔥 Happy Sabbath and Shabbat Shalom My Brothers and Sister! May the Grace, Peace, and Love of Our Father In Heaven and our King and Master Yeshua, Jesus Christ, be upon you all! “Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.” Psalms 8:2-5 Good Morning Friday...
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your TRUTH. Thank You for Your Great Love and Mercy. Thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. This devotion was shared exactly one year ago. I believe this message has more significance now than in any other time we have ever lived before. We can look around and see what this world is falling into... deception, men and women’s hearts beginning to wax cold, violent rioters, a reeling healthcare system, people attacking each other in grocery stores, people being tazed for not wearing masks, political and social unrest, economic uncertainty, and the such. SHEMA! (Hear!, Listen!, Behold!, Hey!) Armor up My Brothers and Sisters! Draw close to Our Father In Heaven, for Yeshua’s (Jesus’s) Day is Close at hand! A big thank you to our late Brother in Christ, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. May Our Father and Savior bless you all on this beautiful Friday Morning, and may He grant each and every one of you... Peace. - Winning The Mind Wars: A Berean Study (2 Corinthians 10:3-5) (Elul: Day 37) (Day 7 of The 10 Days of Awe) “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,” II Corinthians 10:3-5 NKJV We are not carrying on a physical war, but the battle for us is no less real. We need to understand that we are not fighting for material success, earthly power, or social prestige. We are not even trying to make our enemies look bad. The real issue is the victory or defeat of God's purpose for our lives. We must realize that we have merciless, implacable, and powerful spiritual enemies, so that such things as human cleverness, ingenuity, organizing ability, eloquent arguments, charm, or forcefulness of personality are simply not the answer. Those things may impress men, but they in no way impress demons. Those things are the weapons of carnality, of flesh. The good news is that the Captain of our salvation has already defeated their Goliath. Their leader is defeated, beaten, and the Victor lives in us, lending us His strength and insight. Paul indicates that the enemy invades our minds, our imaginations. He does this through opinions, convictions, and feelings that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. Paul uses the phrase, "casting down arguments," in verse 5. Some Bibles render arguments as "reasoning," "convictions," or "opinions." Even "feelings" would be appropriate to the thought. Whatever the application, these arguments exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. These satanic thoughts or attitudes are designed to affect or alter first our minds and then our behaviors. Satan did this to Eve in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-6). These wrong reasonings are the key to understanding what Satan is trying to accomplish. God created humans with the ability to reason, but what line of reason should a Christian follow? We can grasp what not to follow by considering Paul's phrase, "against the knowledge of God." In other words, the thoughts that invade our mind, which come from this evil, wicked, subtle, deceitful spiritual leader, will lead us to exalt or prioritize our reasoning above God's knowledge. This knowledge is not primarily about God, but the knowledge He has revealed. Knowledge about God is certainly included, but what Satan desires is for us to exalt our ideas over godly and true knowledge and understanding. Why would he want to do this? Because we have a relationship with a Person—a Being with personality, character, and a wonderful, wholesome way of life that produces every good thing. Satan tries to destroy that relationship by getting us to doubt either the Person and His goodness or the rightness and goodness of His promises and way of life. The Referenced Word of Truth: “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:1-6 NKJV “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not fight according to the flesh. For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds, overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah,” Qorintiyim Bĕt (2 Corinthians) 10:3-5 TS2009 “For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 AMPC Good Morning Thursday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that You cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. We ask this in YOUR PERFECT SON YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's NAME. Amen! Wisdom: No one ever said at the end of their days, “I have read my Bible too much, I have thought of God too much, I have prayed too much, I have been too careful with my soul.” ~JCRyle Witness: “Blessed are they who keep His Statutes, who seek Him with all their hearts. Yes, they do no wrong. They walk in His Ways.” Psalm 119:2-3 - The Light of The Whole World (Elul: Day 36) (Day 6 of The 10 Days of Awe) Can you remember a time when you were young and afraid of the dark? Whether it was the "monster under the bed," the silence, or just the dark, turning off all the lights became a battle of the mind. Maybe getting up for the bathroom, water, or any other task became an option to no longer take. Suddenly, in the dark, every thing became scary. Noises, creaks, or any other movement had the ability to frighten us. We were easier to scare, walking around was much more dangerous, and within seconds of the lights going off we felt like we were in a horror movie. When the lights are out and we are in the dark, we can't see our surroundings and we stumble. Turn the lights back on and everything is clear... easy to see. Darkness has an uncanny way of bringing fear, but light brings comfort, clarity, and sight. Light is the beginning. Light brings the new day. Light comforts us and helps us to begin anew each day. It is important to understand who Our Light is and the meaning it holds for us. The Light is Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. It is Him who saves us from any "monster" we may encounter. He brings in each new day and guides us through the darkness, illuminating our lives. He can even make us Lights to others by making us shine and experience the glory of His Presence. Our Light, Yeshua, has been a Light to so many it is impossible count and He Continues each and everyday. He has enlightened many to the snares of religion, He Transformed 12 ordinary men into amazing warriors, valued everyone around Him, cured, healed, and even raised the dead. Jesus Christ Our Savior has changed the lives of more people than the stars in the sky and praise to God Almighty, this includes our lives also. May we all take a moment today to think about this: Yeshua is our Light, hope, breath, and our way back to our true Father and our true home. When you think all is hopeless, wrong, dark, and falling apart, take time to remember who The True Light in your life is. Jesus is The Light Of The Whole World and with Him as our Light we never have to be "in the dark." With the Light, nothing is terrifying, and all is visible. He makes it possible to see where we are going and there is no "monster" that need scare us... ever again. The Word of God, The Light of The Whole World, Yeshua, Jesus Christ: “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the Light of life.” John 8:12 “And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the Truth comes to the Light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21 “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the Truth. But if we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” I John 1:5-7 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that Life was the Light of all mankind. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5 “The True Light that gives Light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.” John 1:9-10 “But everything exposed by the Light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a Light.” Ephesians 5:13 “Believe in the Light while you have the Light, so that you may become children of Light.” When he had finished speaking, Jesus left and hid Himself from them.” John 12:36 “Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to Light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.” Zephaniah 3:5 Good Morning Wednesday ...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name. Amen! Being that we are in the 10 Days of Awe, and it is all about repentance, we would be remiss if we did not look to at least one of Our Father’s Prophets. These were the servants of Our Father that were given very specific messages of repentance to Israel, and also told of the beautiful future where we would live in peace with Our Father, King, and Savior right ruling the world. This morning, let’s take a look at Our Father’s Prophet Zephaniah. God Bless Brothers and Sisters! Remember, draw close to God Your Father... and He Will Draw Close To You (James 4:8). HalleluYah! “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8 - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Zephaniah) (Elul: Day 35) (Day 5 of The 10 Days of Awe) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible to find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word🔥. Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what? Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God (Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Zephaniah, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Zephaniah, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, Repentance, and Love for Your Children. And we thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Zephaniah, The Prophet of God: “I will stretch out my hand against Judah and against all who live in Jerusalem. I will destroy every remnant of Baal worship in this place, the very names of the idolatrous priests— those who bow down on the roofs to worship the starry host, those who bow down and swear by The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) and who also swear by Molek (also Milkam), those who turn back from following the Lord and neither seek The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) nor inquire of him.” Zephaniah 1:4-6 NIV “Be silent before The Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh draws near, for Yahweh has provided a sacrifice and has consecrated His guests.” Zephaniah 1:7 LEB “Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, you nation that has no shame, before the appointed time when the day passes as the chaff, before the fierce anger of The Lord (Yahweh) comes on you, before the day of The Lord’s (Yahweh’s) anger comes on you. Seek The Lord (Yahweh), all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of The Lord’s (Yahweh’s) anger.” Zephaniah 2:1-3 WMB “For then I shall turn unto the peoples a clean lip, so that they all call on the Name of יהוה (Yahweh), to serve Him with one shoulder. “From beyond the rivers of Kush my worshippers, the daughter of My dispersed ones, shall bring My offering. “In that day you shall not be put to shame for any of your deeds in which you have transgressed against Me, for then I shall remove from your midst your proud exulting ones, and you shall no more be haughty in My set-apart mountain.” Tsephanyah (Zephaniah) 3:9-11 TS2009 “For I will leave in the midst of you a people afflicted and poor, and they shall trust, seek refuge, and be confident in The Name of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh). What is left of Israel shall not do iniquity or speak lies, neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they shall feed and lie down and none shall make them afraid.” Zephaniah 3:12-13 AMPC “Yahweh, within her, is righteous. He will do no wrong. Every morning he brings his justice to light. He doesn’t fail, but the unjust know no shame.” Zephaniah 3:5 WEB “For The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) your God is living among you. He is a Mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” “I will gather you who mourn for the appointed festivals; you will be disgraced no more. And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. I will give glory and fame to my former exiles, wherever they have been mocked and shamed. On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh), have spoken” Zephaniah 3:17-20 NLT Elements of A True Faith: The Abrahamic Covenant (Elul: Day 34) (Day 4 of The 10 Days of Awe)9/22/2020 Good Morning Tuesday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. You have blessed us with another WONDERFUL day to see Your WISDOM and TRUTH. May we use this day to show this dark world Your Fruit, Your Light, and Your Glory TODAY. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen! - Elements Of A True Faith: The Abrahamic Covenant (Elul: Day 34) (Day 4 of The 10 Days of Awe) Today, let's take a look at some elements of a true faith. Let start with Our Father's Word and then discuss. “Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:16-22 Now, let’s break down these verses one-by-one: 4:16 - Our Father In Heaven has made us all, by instruction and belief, sons of Abraham. It is only His children, who have the faith of Abraham, who are the spiritual seed of Abraham, and it matters not what tribe, nation, former religion, or language you have come out of. Faith in Our Father Yahweh and His Son Yeshua (Jesus) are what make us righteous in His Eyes. Faith is believing Our Father and taking His Word (Yeshua, Jesus) as Perfect Truth. Five Elements of a True Faith (Romans 4:17-22): 1.) A True Faith Must Have Valid Substance When Paul quotes Genesis 17:5, he is explaining that Abraham’s faith had valid substance because it contained the revelation of Our Father Who Is In Heaven AKA God (Verse 17a). 2.) A True Faith Must Have A Valid Focus The focus of Abraham’s faith was El Olam or The Everlasting God, Our Father, who was The Giver of the revelation (Verse 17b). Keeping a valid focus is what Commandment #1 is all about. 3.) A True Faith is different than hope, and even seemingly contradictory, yet a true faith rests upon hope. There is absolutely no uncertainty in Abraham’s, or our, hope (Verse 18a) because it is in The One In Whom There Is No Uncertainty And The One Who Never Lies. (Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2) 4.) A True Faith has purpose. The purpose, becoming the father of many nations, was the purpose of Abraham’s faith. He realized the promise that was given to him in what we call “The Abrahamic Covenant (compare the verses in Genesis 12:1-3 and verse 18b).” 5.) A True Faith produces works. Abraham was a follower of “The Way,” and his was A True Faith that guided the way he lived. He followed the instructions given by Our Father. A True Faith believes that following Our Fathers Instructions, aka commandments (Biblically defined:works (see James 2:26)), is part of living a submissive life obeying God. A true faith is seen in believing our life will be more full when we listen to Our Father, having faith that what He tells us is best for us. One of Abraham’s greatest “works” was leaving everything he knew at the command of God Our Father. Prayer: Father, please grant us and strengthen us with the substance, focus, hope, purpose, and works (ex: John 13:35) that show The Light of The Whole World, Our Savior Yeshua, and let us rejoice in it. Abraham saw Your Son’s Day and rejoiced in it, thank You Father that so can we. Praise be You, Our Father and Savior, for eternal life and producing righteousness through our true faith in You. Father, grow us, guide us, and sanctify us in The Way only You can. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name, Amen. The Referenced Word of El Olam (The Everlasting God), The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob: “Now The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” So Abram departed as The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.” Genesis 12:1-4 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26 “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35 Good Morning Monday...
Thank You Father for this new day! Please continue to fill our HEARTS and MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE, so we may ENJOY Your blessings, and be a blessing, TODAY. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. - The Word... of God (Elul: Day 33) (Day 3 of The 10 Days of Awe) “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23 “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Matthew 16:24-26 “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14 “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21 “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:2-3 |
