How To Test If Something Is From God Our Father (Elul: Day 32) (Day 2 of The 10 Days of Awe)9/20/2020 Good Morning Sunday...
Thank You Father for the blessing of this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay FOCUSED on The TRUTH of “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" TODAY! In Yeshua, Jesus’s Christ’s Name. Amen. As we go through the next 7-8 days of reflection during these “10 Days of Awe” there is no doubt we will be tested. I have found that the enemy is always lurking, just waiting to catch a foothold. At all times the enemy will use his native tongue, lies, to misdirect, confuse, and try his best to plant seeds of doubt. It is doubt and disbelief that gets us in trouble. It seems that when we get close to Our Father’s Holy Festivals, the enemy is at work overtime... “for he knows he has but a short time” (Revelation 12:12). So as we move through this Biblical testing season, a season of repentance and drawing closer to God Our Father, let us take a look at how to “test the spirits” (1John 4:1) and truly know if what is being communicated to us is from God Our Father, man, or the enemy. May Our Father Bless you all during this time, may you be strengthened by any of your testing, and may The Grace and Peace of Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, be with you as you move in closer into The Arms of our Life-Giving King. - How To Test If Something Is From Our Father (Elul: Day 32) (Day 2 of The 10 Days of Awe) Ever wonder if something you are experiencing or have received is from God? Do you wonder if you are following Our Father's Will? Wouldn't it be great if God would just write His Will for each day on a list for us? Indeed, it would be! Many questions can be presented in our lives each day, week, and year. How much should We work? How many kids should we have? Where should we live, work, and go to church? When should we retire, buy a house, or move to a new city? The questions go on and on. The final question is... What should we do?! Many times it can be easy to tell when Our Father wants us to do something and other times it can seem impossible. Stress is easily built up and many times these life decisions can cause more stress than all the rest. So the question is this... How can we know if something is from God? Today let's take a look at some very practical things we can do to "test the spirits" and see if they are from Our Father or... the other guy. Here are 5 things we can all do to test a situation and ask for God's guidance in seeking His Will. 5 Ways To Know If Something Is From Our Father: 1.) Pray First: If we start by asking, with a humble and honest heart, for Our Father to show us His Individual Plan For Us in whatever we may be dealing with, we have asked rightly. “Please, let our petition be acceptable to you, and pray for us to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God, for all this remnant (since we are left but a few of many, as you can see), that The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God may show us the way in which we should walk and the thing we should do.” Jeremiah 42:2-3 NKJV Our Messiah Did This Often: “So He Himself (Yeshua, Jesus) often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.” Luke 5:16 NKJV 2.) Make Sure It Glorifies God: We next must ask if the situation is Glorifying God. Our Father Will Never Lead You To Something That Does Not Bring Him Glory. Think to yourself: Does this bless the relationship I am dealing with? Wife? Children? Can I serve others? Will it affect my attitude? Will I be able to see spiritual "fruit?" “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 NKJV “Not unto us, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth. Why should the Gentiles say, “So where is their God?” But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.” Psalms 115:1-3 NKJV 3.) Make Sure It Agrees With God's Word: Our Father Never Changes. The Bible aka God's Word Is ALWAYS Counsel We Can Trust. Our Father gave us His Word to reveal His Will to us. “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” II Timothy 3:13-17 NKJV 4.) Be Humble and Patient: Being willing to wait is a hallmark of a believer. God's Will for us is worth the wait, but we must be willing to Trust His Timing, not ours. King Saul didn't wait around and look what happened to him... no bueno. If Our Father's Will is involved, you can guarantee He Will Bring It To Fruition. If we merely stay patient, He Will Guide Us. “Yahweh is good to those who wait on him, to the person that seeks him. It is good to wait in silence for the salvation of Yahweh.” Lamentations 3:25-26 LEB “The end of something is better than its beginning, so the patient are better than the proud.” Ecclesiastes 7:8 CJB “Wait on The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh); Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh)!” Psalms 27:14 NKJV 5.) Have Faith In God Our Father and His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ: God Never Breaks A Promise. Our Father Will Accomplish His Will For Us. Certainly we have all become impatient at times. We want clear answers and we want them immediately, but Abba does not work this way. Our Father Will Accomplish What He Says. Remember, "His Kingdom Come, His Will Be Done." “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” II Timothy 2:13 NKJV “For the word of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is right, And all His work is done in Truth.” Psalms 33:4 NKJV “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:14-21 NKJV Most of the time, in this life, things may not be very clear. Certainly, there will be times when you do every one of these steps and still have questions about where Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ wants you to go or what His Direction is for you. There is nothing wrong with that. Our Father Is Always Teaching Us Something, and you can be sure that if He Wants Something, if it is His Will, He Will Guide You To It. Now, if you have taken the time and gone through these 5 steps, but still don't have a clear answer, just go back to steps 4 and 5. Whatever the problem is, just wait patiently for God. In the meantime there is always something we can do that fulfills all these steps. Go help someone in need, visit a godly Brother or Sister and ask for advice (remember in proverbs 11:14, 12:15, 15:22, and many more, it says the wise take counsel), or just have faith that your answer is coming, besides if faith made Abraham righteous, can't it you also? Of course. The good news is, if you are praying, glorifying Our Father and Yeshua, making sure it doesn't contradict His Word, patiently waiting, and putting your faith in God Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ His Son... you can never go wrong. God Bless Everyone and have a wonderful God Our Father-Filled Week!

A Feast Fit For A King - The Feast of Trumpets (Elul: Day 31) (Day 1 of The 10 Days of Awe)9/19/2020 Good Morning Sabbath (Feast of Trumpets)...
Father thank You for this NEW Holy Day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your LOVE & TRUTH, and TRANSFORM our ordinary day into an extraordinary day. Shine Your Light in us, through us, and over us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s name, we pray and ask, May we make a difference in this world, for Your Glory and Purposes TODAY! Good morning Brothers and Sisters. Today begins “The 10 Days of Awe.” These are the 10 days in between The Feast of Trumpets and The Day of Atonement, the Biblical Holiest Day of the year. During this time let us reflect on our year, and lives, drawing closer to Our Father in Heaven. Traditionally, many fill these 10 days with fasting, prayer, good deeds, and most importantly drawing close to God. When we do this, something amazing happens, and I think it is no better expressed than in a little saying a very dear Brother In Yeshua, Jesus Christ, gave to me. It goes like this: Want to know what is better than drawing close to God? What? God drawing close to you.🎯 May we all fill our thoughts with Our King, Our Creator, and our Life Sustaining, Merciful God as we head towards the high holiest day of the year and may God Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen ... MIGHTILY! - A Feast Fit For A King - The Feast of Trumpets (Elul: Day 31) (Day 1 of The Ten Days of Awe) The Feast of Trumpets is among the Festivals of God listed in Leviticus 23. From the way I have come to understand It, according to Scripture, it is all about announcing The Coming of The King. The Hebrew word "Feast" is more accurately translated as "Rehearsal." That seems pretty significant if we think about it. Let's read Our Father in Heaven’s Word: “Then the Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh).” Leviticus 23:23-25 When Yeshua (Jesus) came into the world (in the flesh), He kept the Feast of Trumpets along with the other people of Hebrew descent. After the death and resurrection of Jesus, the first-century Church continued in keeping it along with the other six Festivals mentioned in Leviticus 23. The Feast of Trumpets teaches great lessons. If we try to understand its significant meaning, the Feast of Trumpets helps us understand the plan of Our Father for all mankind. Today let's take a look at some important things and try to gain some perspective about Our Father's timing and what He is trying to show us in His Feast, or Rehearsal, of Trumpets, also known as Yom Teruah (Day of Shouts). Since today is The Feast of Trumpets, let's take a look.: 1.) The Feast of Trumpets Is About God’s Time The Feast of Trumpets represents the time when God will directly intervene in human affairs. It represents the time when Christ will return here on earth, not just as a Kind, Patient, Loving, Miracle Working Servant, but a Conquering King. Our Sacrificial Lamb Will Return As A Lion. That's exciting for us believers! Let's take a look in Revelation: Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our LORD and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 🔥🙌 Revelation 11:15 2.) The Feast of Trumpets Is About The Hope of The Coming Kingdom of God We live in a fast paced, fallen, and depressing world compared to the amazing things Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus, have in store for us. The enemy and accuser is currently the ruler of this world (II Corinthians 4:4). When all hopes seem to fade Christ Jesus will make a spectacular entrance. Of all the prophecies made in The Bible, perhaps the coming of Jesus for the second time, is the most exciting. It will be the climax in the history of mankind. 3.) The Feast of Trumpets Serves As A Warning In the time of the ancient Israelites, the trumpet was used to sound a warning. Let's take a look at Numbers: “When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets.” Numbers 10:9 With the Feast of Trumpets, we are reminded that there will come a time when Our Savior, Yeshua Jesus Christ will return. It means that we must live our lives according to God’s will and purpose. Why? Because we know that we all will answer accordingly for our lives in The Presence of God Our Father and Yeshua Jesus Christ. We can’t simply live a life of no accountability. We have A Higher Power, God Our Father. As believers, this can give us a sense of urgency that is prudent for our lives. One day we will all stand before the Judgement Throne of God Almighty and give an account of our lives. The Feast of Trumpets serves as a call for us to stop living our way and begin living Our Father's Way, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King’s Way. 4.) The Feast of Trumpets Is About Rejoicing One reason trumpets were used in the ancient Israel was to serve as a festive sound. We read in God's Word: “Also in the day of your gladness, in your appointed feasts, and at the beginning of your months, you shall blow the trumpets… and they shall be a memorial for you before your God.” Numbers 10:10 Also at the end of Chapter 8 in Nehemiah, they are celebrating Trumpets. Let's see what God Uses His Prophet To Tell Us: “Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10 While the events preceding the coming of Our King may be scary, The Feast of Trumpets is a day where we rejoice in Our King. We can be sure of The Hope that we have in Our Savior. As the world hears the seventh trumpet, all the followers of Our Father God will rejoice. We can know Our King Yeshua, Jesus, is coming and He won’t delay His return anymore! From there, He will finally establish God’s Kingdom that will bring Peace, Blessings, and Prosperity to the world. Oh, imagine how Wonderful Life will be then! 5.) Christ Brings A Reward “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Corinthians 15:52 In the end, when the loud sound of the seventh trumpet is heard, the dead in Christ will rise! Resurrection and Eternal Life Will Ensue! From there, they will meet the Our King and Savior in the air and will commence the establishment of God Our Father's Kingdom here on earth! The Feast of Trumpets points to the very hope of mankind. This world may not end through apocalyptic nuclear warfare or catastrophic natural calamities as some people predict. Let's take a look at the words of Our Savior: Jesus Christ, Himself said: “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” Matthew 24:21-22 Before man destroys himself, Our King and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ will intervene. At the sound of the last trumpet, everyone will know that there is a God In Heaven Who Is Ultimately In Control. He is The Supreme, Almighty God Who Created Everything and at the same time, the God who we call Our Father. Remember that the first century Church used the Old Testament as their basis for doctrine (II Timothy 3:16). So as we ponder The Mysteries of God Our Father today and His Feast of Trumpets, may we all gain insight, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, discernment, and Truth. I know this is a huge topic and in no way could someone fit all of Our Father's Teachings into a single devotion. We have numerous passages that show us Our Father's meanings in His Festivals (Rehearsals) and I encourage anyone who is looking for deeper meaning to study God's Word about His Holy Days and let Him reveal His wonderful messages to you. Let us end with the words of The Master, in whom we blow our real and spiritual trumpets when we give witness to Him, Our King and Our Savior: “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” Luke 21:28 Happy Feast of Trumpets everyone! May God Bless each and every one of you on the other side of this screen. Shabbat Shalom (Sabbath Peace)! Good Morning Friday...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. On this Feast of Trumpets Eve, because He Is The King and also The Good Shepherd, let’s take a look at us, The Sheep, and how The Good Shepherd Cares for us. On Feast of Trumpets, one day, He Will Return. Tonight we blow the shofar in anticipation of His Coming. Today, let us remember, We Are The Sheep, and He Is The Good Shepherd. Happy preparation day everyone. Love you all and may God Our Father and His Son, Our King and Eternal Good Shepherd, Bless you all! - Feast of Trumpets Eve: We Are The Sheep, He Is The Shepherd (Elul: Day 30) If you do a study on sheep you find out one thing pretty quick, they are not very intelligent. They go astray, have no sense of direction, and become lost very easily. Many times they will wander into creeks and when they get wet, the heavy wool on their bodies becomes soaked with water, their wool becomes heavy, and they drown in the water. We aren't so different from the sheep. We need a Good Shepherd to look after us. Many times we can get soaked in the waters of life that we probably shouldn't have entered in the first place. Soaked, weighed down, and unable to get ourselves out, we are an easy target for the enemy who seeks to devour us. We have no defense... until The Good Shepherd arrives in our lives and lifts us out of the water... just like He did Peter when he stepped off the boat (Matthew 14:27-33). There is no shortage of Scripture giving us the example we are Our Savior's Sheep and He, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Is Our Good Shepherd. THE WAY the sheep stay out of trouble, don't wander into the waters of life that can be deadly, and live a protected, healthy lives is to follow The Good Shepherd closely. We know His Voice, now we just need to follow Him. The closer we are to The Good Shepherd, the closer we are to Our Salvation... quite literally. As we go through our day today, let us follow Our Good Shepherd, The Perfect Example of A Protector and Provider. He Works Miracles, Saves Lives, Leads All Lost Sheep Back To The Fold, Gives His Life So We, His Sheep, Can Live Abundant Lives, and... He Is Coming Back. Praise To God Our Father For Providing A Perfect Shepherd...HIMSELF! The Good Shepherd Who Lays Down His Life For Us: “All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 The Good Shepherd Who Protects And Comforts Us: “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) Forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 The Good Shepherd Who Finds Us: “‘For thus says The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) GOD: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.” Ezekiel 34:11-12 The Good Sheherd Who Leads Us: “But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:2-5 The Good Shepherd Who Unites Us: “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.” John 10:11-16 Good Morning Thursday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE. Father we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. - Profound Hebrew Words: TEFILLAH (Prayer) (Elul: Day 29) It can be easy to drop on our knees and pray to God Our Father when we are in trouble, hurt, distressed, or in need, but what about the rest of the time? With our english word "pray" it can be easy to fall into this habit, because the english definition is "to ask or beg," but let's take a look at The Original Hebrew Word for prayer, Tefillah, and see the meaning that is revealed. The Hebrew Word for prayer, Tefillah, has a much different meaning in its original form. Tefillah means "self evaluate," or "self judgement." So, we see that originally prayer, or Tefillah, meant a time for self examination and not just a time for asking for things. While it is definitely appropriate that we make requests to Our Father during prayer, as Yeshua, Jesus, and the apostles made clear, it originally meant a time for us to "judge" our lives according to the standard of Our Father in His Word, to judge our actions, behaviors, and attitudes in alignment with God's Holiness. Is this something that could change the way and frequency of our prayers? Let's go one step further. In Hebrew each letter has multiple meanings and this is what makes Our Father's Original Language so rich and profound. Let's take a look at "The Message" the individual letters of The Word "Teffilah" give us. The Word Tefillah in Hebrew is spelled with the Hebrew Letters (from right to left in Hebrew) Tav, Pey, Yod, Lamed, and Hey. It looks like this, תפילה. When we take the individual meanings of each letter and put them together, we get An Amazing Message. Ready for this? The individual letters in the Hebrew Word Tefillah mean: "The Spoken Covenant Sign of Worship to The Shepherd and Teacher, Revealed In Our Breath." What?! How amazing is that?! Our Father left no doubt about what prayer was to be with His Simple Yet Beautiful Word For Prayer, Tefillah! As we can see, prayer is not only about "asking for" or "begging," but an act of worship, questioning ourselves, and a sign that we are in covenant with Our Father revealed with our spoken words and breath. Wow... Brothers and Sisters, His Glory Is Infinite, His Mercies Are Never Failing, His Judgements Are Righteous, His Word Is Perfect, and His Mysteries Are Boundless! May we all make a resolution today to revive ourselves with prayer, or Tefillah, and worship Our Father and His Son with the covenant sign towards Our Shepherd and Teacher, revealed with our words and breath! May we not only pray when we are in need, but also to evaluate ourselves against The Original Shepherd, knowing it is a command and sign of worship to spend time with Our Loving and Kind Father Yahweh, and His Son, The Word,Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our King. God Bless Everybody, have a Great Yeshua-Filled rest of your week, and may it be a “rest of your week” filled with Tefillah! The Word of God AKA Fuel For The Soul AKA The TRUTH, The Way, and The Life: “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray (Tefillah) and not give up.” Luke 18:1 “as you pray (Tefillah) at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.” Ephesians 6:18 “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:19-21 “And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love The LORD (YHwH, Yahweh) your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’ “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them,” Deuteronomy 11:13-16 “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts.” Malachi 3:10-12 “Now while I was speaking, praying (Tefillah), and confessing (judging himself) my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) my God for the holy mountain of my God, yes, while I was speaking in prayer (Tefillah), the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand.” Daniel 9:20-22 “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), But the prayer (Tefillah) of the upright is His delight.” Proverbs 15:8 Good Morning Wednesday...
Amen. - A Time For Every Purpose: The Purpose Today - Honoring Mom (Elul: Day 28) “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 Well, it is that time again. What time you may ask? Well, the time has come once again to, as God gave command, and it is my honor to accomplish, to honor my mother. Our Father gave the 10 Commandments from Mount Sinai, accompanied by smoke, earthquakes and the blast of a trumpet to emphasize the importance of these instructions, so we should all take heed. While today I will pay special attention to His fifth commandment, it is something I pray that I do in word AND deed, not just on her birthday, but each and everyday. Happy Birthday Mom! I Love you more than you will ever know. I state that, but The Truth is you probably do. I don’t think it is possible for you to have Loved me, and the rest of your children, as well as all you meet, the way you have your entire life, if you didn’t. I do pray you know how much I Love you. And you should know, that Love is only second to One, The One Who made you my mom... and I praise Him for it! Thank you for always pointing me in the right direction, towards God Almighty, Our Father Who Is In Heaven. The commandment, which is the first that comes with a promise, to honor you, is truly my honor. In all my days, I have never met a more genuine, faithful, kind, caring, and compassionate person, and to have been raised, taught, nurtured, and guided by your faithfulness, is truly my honor. For this reason, along with her constant seeking of Our Father, and her faithfulness, she has earn the nickname “The Handmaid of The LORD (Yahweh).” So fitting is that name because of her dedicated service. While we will all struggle with many aspects of this current life, one battle I have not had to face is wondering if i have a mother who Loves me, and again I thank God Almighty (El Shaddai), Our Father In Heaven, for this blessing. While I may not have been a perfect son, she has come about as close to a perfect mom as I think one can have. So, today... I know what “time” and “purpose under heaven” that I have to fulfill. Today, I honor the most complete, mature, kind, compassionate, graceful, beautiful, and faithful woman I know, my mom. Happy birthday mom. I Love you so very much and i thank Yahweh Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, God Our Father and Our Lord and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, for you! May your day be filled with the Love, Grace, and Peace of The One you always pointed me to and The Only One Who Can Truly Give These Things, Our Father Who is In Heaven. May The One True Living God of All Good Things Bless You Mightily, May He Reward Your Faithfulness, and May You Have A Day Filled With His Love, and the Love of all those whom you have led in the right direction while you are here... God Our Father’s Direction. Happy Birthday Mom! 😃🙌🎂 Keep up the amazing work! I Love You So Much and Thank you for all you do. A commandment that I take much pleasure in, I honor you today. Father, Bless My Mother Mightily! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name I Pray. Amen! To My Mom on her birthday: May Our Father Bless You and Keep You, May Our Father Shine His Face Upon You, and be Gracious To You. May Our Father Lift You Up With His Countenance, and Bring You Shalom (Divine Peace/Completeness). - Numbers 6:24-26 The Word of God: “Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 19:19 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:” Ephesians 6:2 “My son, keep your father’s command, And do not forsake the law of your mother.” Proverbs 6:20 Good Morning Tuesday...
Father thank You for this new day. As You Walk with us today, please keep us focused on YOUR TRUTH. Please continue to fill OUR HEARTS & MINDS with YOUR PEACE and straighten the paths before us. In YESHUA, Jesus Christ's Glorious Name, we pray. Amen. - Washing... With The Water Of The Word (Elul: Day 27) God Our Father Has The Truest Word In History And It Is Filled With So Much Promise! His Promises Are Bountiful Throughout His Word And Reveal How Faithful, Compassionate, and Unbelievably Loving Towards Us The Creator Of All Things Is. God Almighty's Word Has Endured And Will Endure Forever. The choice is up to us though to really know His Word and bind it to every circumstance in our lives, whether it is good or whether we think it is bad. We can all agree, that in our current human condition, it is easier than we would like to become fearful, discouraged, insecure, or unsure about this life. It is in these very moments that we must remind ourselves, and each other, The Truth of God and His Amazing Promises To Us... Found Everywhere Throughout His Word. Just take a moment and think on these few promises from God Our Father, To Us: We Are Never Alone, He Will Never Forsake Us, He Is With Us Always. These Glorious Truths Are An Affirmation Of Our Identities, A Reminder Of How Faithful He Is Even When We Aren't, And Are Promises Which Strengthen Us When We Are Weak. If we merely keep Our Father's Word in our hearts and minds, we will stand... no matter how difficult life may become. Our Father Bless each and every one of you on the other side of this screen and have a wonderful Right Hand of Our Father-Filled day! God's Word aka Fuel For The Soul aka The Truth Which Strengthens: “The grass withers, the flower fades, But The Word of our God stands FOREVER.” Isaiah 40:8 “How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.” Psalms 119:9-11 “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law (Instructions, Torah) of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalms 1:1-3 “Forever, O LORD, Your Word is settled in heaven.” Psalms 119:89 “Let The Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16 “that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:26-27 Good Morning Monday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY! As we rise to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, let us SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. - Meeting With God Our Father (Elul: Day 26) “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law (Instructions) of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.” Ezra 7:10 When we pray, we are quite literally having a meeting with God Our Father. During our meeting we get to speak with The Almighty Creator of All Things, who can fulfill every need we have. What a privilege! Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, Is ALWAYS Near To Us. May we meet with Him today and grow nearer to His Love and Peace, Which Surpasses All Understanding. Let us pray: Dear Almighty God Our Father In Heaven and Our Ever Faithful Lord and Savior, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Help us to be like Your Servant Ezra. Help us to prepare our hearts to seek You and Teach others of Your Statutes and Ordinances, for we know You Bring Life. Plant Your Word deep inside us with fertile hearts and let it grow like the mustard seed You spoke of in Your Timeless Parable. Teach us to know You and write Your Word on our hearts and in our minds. Help us to internalize You and obey You with joy. Help us to make You a priority in our lives and help us to treat others as You would. Help us to repent, to turn back to You, from wherever we have drifted and from whatever may have led us astray. Let us be known by You. Teach us to value what You value and to allow Your Word to become our greatest standard, by which we measure everything. Help us to take the good things from You in our lives and to dispose of the bad things we have brought in our lives from this fallen world. Help us to judge righteously by Your Standard. Thank You For Never Changing and Always Being Our Rock. Show us how to point to You as Your Scriptures Do. Help us to show others and speak of all that You have done for us, this world, and every living and breathing creature which you made. Please lead us to others that we can share and teach Your Word to, and also those whom we can learn from and edify. You Are So Vast And Wonderful. Sometimes it is easy to talk about You Father, and sometimes it can be tough to know where to start. Sometimes we may not feel qualified, and sometimes we get in our own way, please help us become stronger, more consistent, and confident in these areas. We know people are starving for You and it seems the world around us knows very little about Your Word. We are Your Servants... send us where we are needed and reveal to us who and when to perform The Great Commission, our great honor, and the important task of volunteering and sharing You. Your Life, Teachings, and Love Are A Lamp To Our Feet, Lighting Our Paths. Help us to share Your Amazing Love Story And The Truth of You, The One True, Living, Almighty, And Loving God, Who Never Leaves Us Or Forsakes His People, with this world that So Desperately Needs You. We Love Your Story, We Love Your Guidance, And We Love You. We pray these things to You Father in Your Mighty Son's Name, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King. Amen. More Manna From Heaven AKA The Word of Truth: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 “Behold, the days are coming, says The LORD (Yahweh), when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says The LORD (Yahweh). But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says The LORD (Yahweh): I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know The LORD (Yahweh),’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says The LORD (Yahweh). For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:31-34 “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.” I Thessalonians 5:19-22 “For I am The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” Malachi 3:6 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 Good Morning Sunday ...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Thank You for each NEW BREATH You Give Us. We ask You for DISCERNMENT with the things we may not be “seeing,” so that we may grow closer to You and have COMPLETE LIVES showing Your Glory. We ask these things IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name. Amein! A Big Thank You to our late Brother, John Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. Have you ever wanted to say something and can’t quit get the right words out, and then someone comes along and says what you are trying to say almost perfectly? Well, that’s what happened in this devotion today. God Bless The Bereans! Have a great day my Brothers and Sisters! - A Berean Breakdown: Repent From The Anger (Elul: Day 25) “A wrathful man stirs up strife, But he who is slow to anger allays contention.” Proverbs 15:18 “A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1 “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.” Proverbs 16:32 “The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression.” Proverbs 19:11 “Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, For anger rests in the bosom of fools.” Ecclesiastes 7:9 “Rest in The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.” Psalm 37:7-8 “The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.” Psalm 145:8 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.” Ephesians 4:31 “But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.” Colossians 3:8 “Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged”. Colossians 3:21 “He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow, And the rod of his anger will fail.” Proverbs 22:8 Hostility seems to be a hallmark of this church age in a similar way that road-rage is to the world. It is alright for us to be righteously indignant as long as we do not sin. There is a place for righteous indignation, but God does not permit much anger because it is difficult not to sin when angry. That kind of anger is a "mark of the beast." Frequently, hostility is simply a denial of reality. People do not have tempers born in them; angry tempers begin to be created in childhood. Parents allow tempers to burst forth, and each time it happens, it becomes easier—and the next time and the next and on and on until it is ingrained in the personality. Anger is nothing more than a passionate response to some sort of stimuli, and it is almost always a self-centered response. It usually begins when we believe that what should or should not have happened either did or did not, and conflict arises. We can believe, either strongly or weakly, it should or should not have happened. Therefore, anger can be either strong or weak or anywhere in between. The reality is this: What happened happened. How will anger help the problem? Satan believes that it does because he wants to control, to win, to compete, to devour, to get the upper hand, to triumph. Do we really need the anger to drive us to manipulate or to punish? Why not just start working on a solution without the anger, knowing full well that the anger will likely create sin and cause additional damage to the relationship? In a way, it is all very logical, but our feelings get in the way. Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." The first clause can be paraphrased, "There is a way that man thinks things should be." This is where conflict arises: Two people see things differently. The question is, then, who is to say that it should be the way we see it? Things happen because laws are broken, and whatever we sow we reap. Sometimes we get caught in other peoples' ignorance and stupidity. This is a fact of everybody's life, even to God in the flesh. He got caught in the ignorance and stupidity of His fellow Israelites in Judea, and it cost Him His life—yet He did not get angry. What an example! What an example of control. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." How far did He go to make peace? To the death. Even when the other person was totally, absolutely, completely wrong, He did not go to war against him. The problem with anger arises when we turn our feelings and drives to set things right, as we see them, into absolute necessities. We feel it must be our way, but the reality is that others have the same rights from God that we have. Everyone has free moral agency. Anger arises because of the way we judge things: We apply the standard that we hold as being the right one. The Bread of Life: “By this everyone will know that you are MY DISCIPLES—if you have LOVE for one another.” John 13:35 Good Morning Sabbath...
Father THANK YOU for this new day. Thank You FOR YOUR SABBATH. Thank You for GIVING us Brothers and Sisters to share in this wonderful journey back to You. Please use us to help THE HURTING, THE SICK, THE FATHERLESS, and THE WEAK and bring them PEACE. Help us to show Your Love in this dark world, BECAUSE WE KNOW LOVE covers a multitude of sins. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. - The Many Gifts of The Word of God (Elul: Day 24) Our Father Has Blessed Us So Much With His Word And In So Many Ways. We need only flip through The Scriptures and we can find answers to every situation we may deal with in this life. This is why we must repent and we must “turn back” to Him. This is what “The 40 Days of Elul” is all about. Not only is The Word Our Father's Primary Source of Communication with us, His Children, but also His Word is filled with Life. The lessons we learn in Our Father's Greatest Blessing can help us to live more abundantly and full. God's Word can be our source of Truth, history, Witness of Our Savior, encouragement, praise, instruction, guidance, strength, hope, faith, Love, and so much more! Today lets take a look at five of the above elements and allow His Word to soak His Love in our minds, our bodies, and spirits. Praise be to Yahweh, God Our Father, and His Son Yeshua, Our Savior, Jesus Christ, Forever and Ever...Amen! The Word For... ENCOURAGEMENT: "Thus says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh): Say to those whose hearts are frightened: Be strong, fear not! Here is your God, He comes with vindication; with divine recompense He comes to save you. Then will the eyes of the blind be opened, the ears of the deaf be cleared; then will the lame leap like a stag, then the tongue of the mute will sing. Streams will burst forth in the desert, and rivers in the steppe. The burning sands will become pools, and the thirsty ground, springs of water." Isaiah 35:4-7 The Word For... PRAISE: “Blessed is the one whose help is The God of Jacob, whose hope is on YAHWEH as his God, Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, THE ONE Who keeps faith forever, Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food for the hungry. YAHWEH sets prisoners free; YAHWEH opens the eyes of the blind; YAHWEH raises up those bowed down; YAHWEH loves the righteous; YAHWEH protects the strangers. He helps up the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked He thwarts. YAHWEH will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, throughout all generations. Praise YAH.” Psalms 146:5-10 The Word For... INSTRUCTION: "My brothers and sisters, show no partiality as you adhere to the faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. For if a man with gold rings and fine clothes comes into your assembly, and a poor person in shabby clothes also comes in, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say, “Sit here, please, ” while you say to the poor one, “Stand there, ” or “Sit at my feet, ” have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil designs? Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters. Did not God choose those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He promised to those who love Him?" James 2:1-5 The Word For... Truth, History, and Witness To Our Savior: "Jesus proclaimed the Gospel of the kingdom and cured every disease among the people." Matthew 4:23 The Word For... Hearing, and Speaking Correctly: "Again Jesus left the district of Tyre and went by way of Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, into the district of the Decapolis. And people brought to him a deaf man who had a speech impediment and begged him to lay his hand on him. He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man’s ears and, spitting, touched his tongue; then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, “Ephphatha!”— that is, “Be opened!” -- And immediately the man’s ears were opened, his speech impediment was removed, and he spoke plainly. He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more he ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it. They were exceedingly astonished and they said, “He has done all things well. He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”" Mark 7:31-37 YAHWEH YESHUA HA’MASHIACH Bless you my Brothers and Sisters. May His Peace Rest Upon You Today... and All Days To Come. I Love You All Very Much, but Remember... Our Father and Savior Love You Infinitely More. HalleluYah! Praise The One True & Living God of The Heavens and The Earth, The Creator of All Things! A Berean Breakdown: Matthew 5:10-12 - Persecution, Blessing, & Christian Character (Elul:Day 23)9/11/2020 Good Morning Friday...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. We have GRATEFUL HEARTS for all You Do. Thank You for the extraordinary gifts in our lives and the EXTRAORDINARY LOVE you share with us in YOUR WORD FATHER. Lead us away from false prophets, strengthen us to endure trials, and lead us toward YOUR NARROW GATE. In praise, we pray in YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's Name. Amen! A Big Thank You to our late Brother, John Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today's devotion. God Bless my Brothers and Sisters and have a Blessed Day. "Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true." Acts 17:11 - A Berean Breakdown: Matthew 5:10-12 - Persecution, Blessing, and Christian Character (Elul: Day 23) (10) Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (11) "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. (12) Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:10-12 NKJV It may seem strange that Jesus passes so quickly from peacemaking in the previous beatitude to persecution—from the work of reconciliation to the experience of hostility. But we come to learn from life's experiences following conversion that, however hard we try to live peacefully or to make peace through reconciliation, some refuse to live at peace with us. Indeed, as this beatitude shows, some take the initiative to oppose, revile, and slander us. We must live with and adjust to the fact that persecution is simply the clash between two irreconcilable value systems. God has called us, selected us, to represent Him in patiently enduring and even overcoming persecution as part of our witness and preparation for His Kingdom. God is not without sympathy for the difficulties these challenges pose for us, but He calls us blessed, counseling us to "rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is [our] reward in heaven" for successfully overcoming persecution. We should realize we do not earn the reward because we are doing only what we are supposed to do (Luke 17:7-10 (reference below)). But God freely gives the reward; He promises it as His gift. We are to face persecution remembering "that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:18 (full reference below)) . When it comes upon us, we should not retaliate like the world, sulk like a child, lick our wounds like a dog in self-pity, or simply grin and bear it like a masochistic Stoic. Our Savior tells us to rejoice in it because it proves the authenticity of our faith, puts us into a noble succession of towering figures of faith who have preceded us, and guarantees us great reward in the Kingdom. It may also put us into the company of many martyrs exalted in God's Word. Above all, persecution for His sake brings us into fellowship with the sufferings of our Savior. Our Love for Christ should be so great that we rejoice that it has come upon us on His account. If He suffered so much to give us this awesome future, why should we not gladly suffer a little for Him? Persecution is a blessing in disguise designed to bring out the best of Christian character. From it we frequently become aware of weaknesses in our character. Persecution's pressures are humbling. They make us understand that our spiritual infirmities are so great that we cannot stand for a single hour unless Christ upholds us. How true are His words, "Without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5 (reference below)). Persecution can also keep us from certain sins because it makes us more vividly aware of the impossibility of friendship with the world. Seeing we cannot have both the world and the Kingdom, it can help us set our resolve to live righteously. "And not only that," the apostle Paul writes in Romans 5:3-4 (reference below), "but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." At first glance, persecution seems contradictory to the way and purpose of God. Though we certainly do not wish it upon anyone, and though we sincerely hope we do not have to face it, we can understand in the broad overview that, because of the enmity of Satan, it is inevitable. And in reality, it is a disguised blessing, designed to complete our preparation for God's Kingdom. The Word of Truth, The Word of God (Reference Scriptures): “And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.” Luke 17:7-10 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:18-19 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5 “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:3-5 |
