Good Morning Tuesday...
Thank You Father for this new day! Please continue to fill our HEARTS and MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE, so we may ENJOY Your blessings, and be a blessing, TODAY! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. - Have A Merry Heart - God Our Father Is BIG Blood flows through our veins, into our hearts, and makes our body work. God's Word tells us that "the Life is in the blood (Lev 17:11)." There is something that helps give us Life as much as the blood your heart pumps through your body though. Having a merry heart. As believers we all are aware of not just the physical, but the spiritual aspects to this life. Having a merry heart is part of the spiritual. I have learned that if your spiritual life is kept healthy, the physical will follow, because the physical is always a manifestation of the spiritual. Yeshua, Jesus, even states this in Matthew 18:18. Stress kills, but Loving God Almighty and having a merry heart brings Life. We have a Big God. Nothing is impossible for Him. This alone should give us a merry heart. He can do more than we can imagine and the difficult things for us are easy for Him. Our Father wants our dependence. Why? Because He knows this will give us a merry heart. We were made to depend on Him, Love Him, and receive spiritual renewal from Him. Are you having a tough time right now? If you are, this should be exciting news, because that means God is up to something. He is refining you, teaching you, and whether you know it or not, He is Loving You. Our Father's Love doesn't always look like we expect it to, but if we merely rely on Him, we soon find His blessing in our trial. Believe, repent, obey or B.R.O.. This is what God's Word calls us to do. When we do this it doesn't matter the struggle, trial, or battle we are going through, Our Father will show us... He Is Big, Nothing Is Impossible For Him, and it allows us to Have A Merry Heart. Can I get a witness?! Sure, here's 5: “A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.” Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, But the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness. All the days of the afflicted are evil, But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast. Better is a little with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble.” Proverbs 15:13-16 “through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:2-5 “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23 “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27 God Bless everybody and have a Wonderful Yeshua, Merry-Heart-Filled Tuesday. Good Morning Monday...
Thank You Father for loving us so much and the blessing of this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay focused on Being Obedient to You, Your Guidance, and staying filled with Your Peace... TODAY! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. - By Being Obedient & Strong In Our Father’s Word Yeshua, Jesus Christ, wraps up the epitome of His followers with this statement: “Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24 Paraphrase this is saying: If you desire Me, stop thinking about yourself, what you want, and serve others regardless of the cost. There are translations of The Bible that even state The Scripture this way. We can see that Our King is telling us that our lives should consist of denial of self, self-control, and obedience to Him. Denying ourselves definitely means we won't always get what we want. We must sometimes just do what Yeshua wants and put all else to the side. This is where the tough part comes in... Do we accept this with joy or do we complain and argue? God's Word tells us in Phillipians 2:14: “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,” Philippians 2:14-15 If we have made a commitment in our lives to follow and serve Yeshua, Jesus, then we have obviously come to the decision that following Him is the best option. If this is the case, then complaining gets us nowhere. It just doesn't make sense. What does make sense? Picking up our cross, having a good attitude, and following THE WAY with a godly attitude. It may be difficult, but this is what Our King has asked from us. God's Word goes on to state we should do things without arguing. Our Savior Is Our God and if we Love Him... why would we argue with Him about His Authority or Plan? There is nothing wrong with forming an argument FOR THE WAY He Has Chosen for us to go. Despite any difficulties, we should be arguing only for what He has already chosen for us. This is how we "shine as Lights in the world"... by being obedient and strong in Our Father’s Word. May we all, if we have made the decision to follow Yeshua, Jesus The Christ, obey the Will of God. Once we have made this decision, may we all do it with a "Light-Shining" disposition. Father, Mighty God and Creator, we ask your help with this, for we know we are only strong in You. In Jesus's Name we pray and ask this of You, Abba. Amen. Good Morning Sunday...
Father thank You for this new day. As You Walk with us today, please keep us focused on YOUR TRUTH. Please continue to fill OUR HEARTS & MINDS with YOUR PEACE and straighten the paths before us. In YESHUA, Jesus Christ's Glorious Name we pray. Amen. - An Exercise In Connecting With Our Father - By Faith #7 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek in Your Word. Help us to show our Faith. Help us to find Your Peace. Be with us. Thank You. In Yeshua, Jesus's Name we pray. Amen Step 2 - Read Read the Scripture slowly. Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.” Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, teacher,” he said. “Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.” “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said. Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.” Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”” Luke 7:36-50 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. What is God trying to tell you? Step 4 - Respond Respond to The Word you just read. Talk to Your Father about how you feel. Tell Him what is on your mind. Tell him what is on your heart. As you go through your day today keep your eyes open to what you read, what you uncovered, or what you spoke to God about. You may find Him showing up in places you didn't expect. God Bless all of you. May The God Of All Good Things give each and every one of you PEACE! Good Morning Sabbath...

Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it. ” When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” Matthew 8:5-10 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. What is God trying to tell you? Step 4 - Respond Respond to The Word you just read. Talk to Your Father about how you feel. Tell Him what is on your mind. Tell him what is on your heart. Father thank You for this NEW day. You have blessed us with another WONDERFUL day to see your WISDOM and TRUTH. May we use this day to show this dark and war-filled world Your Light and Glory TODAY!!! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen! Thank you to berean.org and David C. Grabbe for today's devotion. - Sanctification And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 In his book, Of God and Man, theologian Aiden W. Tozer could clearly see what the priority of the church should be in this regard: "The popular notion that the first obligation of the church is to spread the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth is false. Her first obligation is to be spiritually worthy to spread it." First things must come first. Spiritual preparation must precede physical activity. God sanctified Jesus Christ to do what He did, and yet He still went through thirty years of preparation before preaching for three and a half. Not all of us have the exact sanctification. Not everyone has been set apart to do what Paul did, or what Peter did, or what John did. They received a specific calling, a specific sanctification to do what they did. God directed these men as He saw fit, and they submitted to Him. Nevertheless, He does not direct everyone to do the same thing. There are many offices in God's House, and many functions within the Body of Christ (see I Corinthians 12:1-11, 28-30). However, if we have been called by God, we have been given a general sanctification (I John 2:27). We have already been set apart from the world (John 17:6). What is more, we are being sanctified (Hebrews 2:11). We are being purified and having God's character and nature created in us. This is the work that the Creator is doing. This is what Tozer called being "spiritually worthy," and what we call "go[ing] on to perfection" (Hebrews 6:1). This is the foundational, underlying, core responsibility of each of God's children, regardless of whether another, more specific sanctification is added to it. God Bless everybody and have a Wonderful, Yeshua Jesus-Filled Day! Good Morning Thursday......
Father thank You for this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your LOVE & TRUTH, and TRANSFORM our ordinary day into an extraordinary day. Shine Your Light in us, through us, and over us. May we make a difference in this world, for Your Glory and Purposes TODAY! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. - Scriptures For Quality Alone Time With Our Father Spending more time running around than usual this last couple of weeks, and it had me missing my quality alone time with Our Father. Everything seemed to be a little less peaceful because of missed, usual quality alone time with Him. This led me on a journey of looking into versus that explain what quality alone time with Our Father, and His Word, can do for us. Today let's take a look at some of those versus and may we all remember... quality alone time with Our Father is of the utmost importance. Why? Because God's Word says so, and because Our Perfect Example shows us this is important. There is a reason Our Savior Yeshua had Peace while “in the flesh” here on earth. He never neglected His quality time alone with Our Father. Let's take a look: Our Perfect Example, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Spent Quality Alone Time With Our Father Often: “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Luke 5:16 “Very early the next morning, Jesus got up and went to a place where he could be alone and pray.” Mark 1:35 Wait On God: “Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.” Psalms 62:1-2 Dwell With God During Your Quality Alone Time: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” Psalms 91:1-4 “Repent” And “Knock” During Your Quality Alone Time: “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:19-20 Quality Alone Time With God Our Father Is Meant For Us With Him... And No One Else. Remember, He Already Knows What You Need: “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.” Matthew 6:5-8 Our Father Quite Literally Tells Us To Be Still And Have Quality Alone Time With Him: “Be still, and know that I Am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah” Psalms 46:10-11 Good Morning Wednesday...
Father thank you for this new day. Your Day. We ask for Your Peaceful Rest. May we abide in You and refill our lamps with oil. As we look at The Words of Your Son, please give us wisdom. We ask this so we may show Your Glory. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. - An Exercise In Connecting With God - Faith #5 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek in Your Word. Read: “And after six days Jesus took along Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothing became bright as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with him. So Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here! If you want, I will make here three shelters, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to him!” And when the disciples heard this, they fell down on their faces and were extremely frightened. And Jesus came and touched them and said, “Get up and do not be afraid.” And when they lifted up their eyes they saw no one except him—Jesus alone. And as they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them saying, “Tell no one the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.” And the disciples asked him, saying, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” And he answered and said, “Elijah indeed is coming, and will restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did with him whatever they wanted. In the same way also the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that he had spoken to them about John the Baptist. And when they came to the crowd, a man approached him, kneeling down before him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers severely, for often he falls into the fire and often into the water. And I brought him to your disciples, and they were not able to heal him.” And Jesus answered and said, “O unbelieving and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him here to me!” And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him and the boy was healed from that hour. Then the disciples approached Jesus privately and said, Why were we not able to expel it?” And he said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I say to you, if you have faith like a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”” Matthew 17:1-20 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. God Bless Everyone. May The God Of All Good Things Give each and everyone of you PEACE and BLESSINGS in the middle of this week. Good Morning Tuesday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. We THANK YOU for continuing YOUR GOOD WORKS yesterday, today, and forevermore. May we continually thank You for Your Salvation YESHUA, JESUS Christ, and being OUR GOD! In Yeshua’s Name we pray. Amen! - Promises From Our Father, The Creator of All Things Our Father Is Bold. Our Savior Is Bright. Turn off the darkness and step into The Light. Our Bold, Bright, Full of Light Father, The Creator of All Things, Made Us Some Incredible Promises. Let's explore four of these promises today and see what He Stirs In Us. Our Father’s Precious Promise: “Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.” Isaiah 43:4 Our Father's Word Implanted Soul Saving Promise: “Therefore, putting aside all moral uncleanness and wicked excess, welcome with humility the implanted message which is able to save your souls.” James 1:21 Expect Your Future To Look Better Than You Can Imagine Promise: “You must not remember the former things, and you not must consider the former things. Look! I am about to do a new thing! Now it sprouts! Do you not perceive it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 A Yahweh-Loving Kingdom Inheritance Promise: “Listen, my dear brothers! Did not God choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love Him?” James 2:5 God Bless Everybody. Have a wonderful, Eternal Promises-Filled day! Good Morning Monday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE. Father we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. - Avoid The Evil One Unfortunately our ancestors Adam and Eve fell prey to the evil one's tricks. While we are just as susceptible as our super-great grandparents were, Our Father gives us His Word to prepare us when that battle comes. First we must be able to recognize when it is the evil one, his tricks, and know the stark contrast between his ways and Our Father's Ways. The Full Armor of God is our best defense against the evil one. The first thing you put on in The Full Armor of God? The Belt of Truth... God's Word. According to Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, the evil one is the current ruler of this world. Adam gave his crown away to the evil one and, by Our Father’s Divine and Sovereign Rule, it was allowed. Fortunately for us, Our Father can use anything For His Good and “All things work for the good of those who Love Him.” Whew! Thank God! With that in mind, let's take a look at what Our Almighty Father’s Word has to say about the evil one. The more of God's Word we study about the matter, the more we are protected against the deceptions that our ancestors fell victim. As we read through The Scriptures today, may we all gain more Truth, Wisdom, Discernment, Understanding, and Knowledge so we may be able to stand against "the wiles of the devil." We ask this Father in Your Mighty and Perfect Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King's Name. Amen. Our Father Is Always Faithful And Will Protect You. Arm Yourself With God Almighty: “But The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.” II Thessalonians 3:3 Yeshua, Jesus Our Savior, prayed for us to be delivered from the evil one and He Is The Most Righteous Man to ever walk the face of the earth. The prayer of a righteous man avails much. How much more then will Our Father In Heaven’s Perfectly Righteous Son avail in His prayer?: “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.” John 17:15 “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16 Our Savior showed us how to pray and ask for deliverance from the evil one: “And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.” Matthew 6:13 God's Word and Our Savior tell us to keep it simple. Anything more is from the evil one trying to deceive: “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” Matthew 5:37 Our Father tells us to do good and don’t follow the ways of the evil one. We are to be “Lights” unto the world: “Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.” Romans 12:17 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 Finally, put on The Full Armor of God Almighty so you may be able to stand against the wiles of the evil one: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:10-20 |
