Good Morning Sunday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that you cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. We ask this in YOUR PERFECT SON YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's NAME, Amen. - Tough Times? Do Not Be Afraid. Be Still, Fear Not, & Pray. It has been shown in numerous studies that the fear of pain actually out weighs the pain itself. Wanna know the most common command in The Bible? "Don't be afraid." That's right... don't be afraid, fear not, stop retreating. As a matter of fact... 365 times in The Bible we are told "Don't Be Afraid or Fear Not." That's one for each day of the year! What does it mean to retreat or withdraw? Most people, when they have to deal with a tough situation, they turn to the things they have always run to. For many it is drugs, for many it is eating, and others it is shopping, overworking, or some other "thing" we do while we ignore a situation. Depression, sleeping, being alone, or just "checking out" are also some other forms of retreating or withdrawal. I am quite certain we can all pick one and apply it to ourselves, but... The Truth is we don't have to retreat... We need only Be still. “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance The LORD (YHWH) will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD (YHWH) will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 NIV Today, let's us not retreat anymore. We don't need to. If we must face heartache or trial... or suffering or persecution... Let us acknowledge it and pray. We have a way to respond to all our situations that is Dependable, Stable, Strong, and Full of Peace. Yes... that is where we as believers should be. We can be dependable, stable, and strong as believers because that is what Our Father Is Teaching Us. If we look to Him and pray in Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name... He Will Fight For You. If you are thinking... "But I've prayed," keep praying! Don't stop. Always seek God Our Father in prayer. When you face a hardship, pray. If you're not sure how or what to say, find someone you know is a believer and ask them to hit their knees with you and pray. Don't retreat. Don't withdrawal... just remember to pray. As you're praying... rest and trust. Our God is Mighty and Faithful. We really don't have to worry. He has given all of us the evidence we need to Trust In Him and Depend On Him in all aspects of our lives. May we all remember this today and smile, relax, and trust in The Faithfulness of Our Good Good Father... Our Great God. May we not quit or retreat. We all know it is hard, but let us allow ourselves to Have Faith in An All-Powerful God... The Rock!... He Will Help Us Finish Well. “For I, The LORD (Yahweh) your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13 NKJV “No one is holy like The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), For there is none besides You, Nor is there any Rock like Our God.” I Samuel 2:2 NKJV Prayer: Dear Father God, whenever we feel pain, doubt, uncomfortableness, or any other hard pressed emotion today, let us not be afraid. Help us to Fear Not. We will turn to You Father...and pray. Help us to rest, have faith, and Always Trust In You. In Your Most Precious and Mighty Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen! “Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:5-13
