Good Morning Tuesday...
Our Father Who Is In Heaven, please take Your day and use us, Your humble servants, for Your Good and Perfect Will. Father give us the Grace and Peace Only found in You and in Your Son Jesus Christ, Our King and Messiah. We ask this in Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name. Amen. - The Great Revelation: Unfolding Eternity Today (2) The year: 81 AD The Setting: Rome The Ruler: Domitian (Emperor) Domitian, the Roman Emperor, demanded that all people worship him as a god. He sought to have everyone burn incense (this was a counterfeit of Our Father's worship) to his statue in each and every town within the roman empire, and to submit to him as god. The Apostle John was now an older man, somewhere in his 90s. John was A Pastor of Truth who was leading The Church in Ephesus. John, as all the apostles did, continued to preach that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, was alone to be worshiped and was the only way to salvation. He did this all, right in the middle of a highly idolatrous and polytheistic roman culture. John did not compromise, so the emperor banished him to exile on the Island of Patmos. This is where Our Father and Savior had John pen The Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is, quite possibly, the single greatest picture of The Kingdom of Our Almighty Father that has ever been given. Let's start with gaining a "proper" perspective of Revelation and see if we can "follow the narrow path" into a correct understanding. God's Word is clearly pointing us to a past, present, and a future. In Revelation, we are told about Our Savior: “I Am The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End,” says The Lord, “Who Is and Who Was and Who Is To Come, The Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 Balancing our Christian Life most definitely comes from keeping our past, present, and future in a clear perspective. We learn from our mistakes in the past, we grow in our walk with Our Father in the present, and we rejoice in our hope looking towards a future with Our Savior and King. These three combined, past, present, and future, must be seen together. Our Salvation came to us in the past. We have said yes to salvation and now, everyday, we are being continually saved...eternally. Our transformation, after Salvation, is an ongoing and present activity, with Yeshua Our Savior, and by the power of Our Father's Holy Spirit. Finally, we look toward the future Kingdom of God where we will see with our very own eyes Yeshua, Jesus Christ, ruling and reigning forever! 🔥🙌 As we go through The Book of Revelation in this devotion series, we will see how Our Almighty Father has fulfilled the past, is fulfilling the present, and will be fulfilled in the future...down to the very exact, perfect, and precise way He told us it would. A complete picture is necessary for us living in the Christian Faith, as The Body of Christ, and in Our Savior. The One "Who Is and Who Was and Who Is To Come, The Almighty” wants us to fully grasp the amazing hope that we have in Yeshua, Jesus, Christ The King and Savior of The Whole World! Prayer: Father, as we begin down this path of studying Your Unmatchable Literature, Your Word, please guide us in a path of wisdom and understanding. Help us to see Your Right Ruling, Holiness, and Mighty Work. Place in us Abba, Your Love, Your Joy, and help us to be thankful in all You Are Doing...even when we can't yet see Your Full Picture. Help us to remember Your Past and all You Have Done. Help us to follow You in the present. Finally, help us Father to look toward our future with You and anticipate with Hope and Joy all You Have In Store For Us. We pray these things in Your Almighty and Sovereign Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. The Great Revelation, The Word of God: “I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.” Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength. And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this. The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.” Revelation 1:9-20 “Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” II Corinthians 3:16-18 “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:14-15
