Good Morning Sunday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your LOVE & TRUTH, and TRANSFORM our ordinary day into an extraordinary day. Shine Your Light in us, through us, and over us. May we make a difference in this world, for Your Glory and Purposes TODAY! In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. - Believing. Living The Example. The Glory of God Almighty (El Shaddai). BELIEVING: In The Scriptures we are told many times to "Believe" in God Our Father and Our Savior. Why? Because when we believe what Our Father and Savior Tell Us, and then we act upon it, we are following THE WAY He wants us to go... His Way. Let's get a witness on this from The First Hebrew, Abraham, as written by Our Father through Moses: “Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed in The LORD (YHWH/Yahweh), and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:5-6 Abraham believed and it was accounted to him for righteousness. The next thing that happens in The Scriptures is Our Father giving Abraham instructions. He follows THE WAY and guess who shows up? I won't tell you. You will have to go and read, but here's a clue: The Burning Pot and Flaming Torch... is Our Savior. Oops, just gave it away. What happens next? Our Father makes Eternal Promises to Abraham. The same Promises that are being fulfilled today. 🔥 LIVING THE EXAMPLE: Once we believe, it is important for us to take steps to follow The Example given to us of The Character of Our Savior, which in turn, is The Character of Our Father. It won't happen all at once, but it is a beautiful and heart warming thing when we realize that we are acting in accordance with Our Father, especially when we realize there has been a change in us that has caused us to act more godly than in the times before we believed in Our Savior and Father. Let's take a look in The Scriptures where Paul is telling those he is writing to, to follow his example. Why would he tell others to follow his example? Because he is following The Example, with the Power of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit, of Our Father's Character. Let us see: “Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame— who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His Glorious Body, according to the working by which He Is Able Even To Subdue All Things To Himself.” Philippians 3:17-21 HIS GLORY: Once we Believe, then we follow The Example of Our Savior and King, this is when we are blessed to see The Glory of God Almighty. It never fails. It may not look like we think, it may not be with whom we thought it would be, but nonetheless... His Glory Comes. It maybe in someone's Life we have touched, it may be in a prayer that is answered, and it may be in His Peace while we wait in patience for Our Savior to return. However it comes, the fact is...His Glory Comes. Let's take a look in The Scriptures where Peter, James, and John, having Believed and Followed The Example, are allowed to see, in physical form, a small piece of The Glory of God Almighty. A picture of things to come 🙌🔥. Let's turn to The Gospel of Luke: “Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening. And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. But Peter and those with him were heavy with sleep; and when they were fully awake, they saw His glory and the two men who stood with Him. Then it happened, as they were parting from Him, that Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—not knowing what he said. While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” When the voice had ceased, Jesus was found alone. But they kept quiet, and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen.” Luke 9:28-36 Belief, Example, and Glory. This seems to be an Eternal Pattern we see over and over in Our Father's Word. He Loves Obedience. He Loves Us, and Our Fellow Brothers and Sisters, Loving Him Through His Example. And He Loves Revealing His Glory To Us. With that said, let's conclude this devotion with what may be the most important Instruction from Our Father in all of The Scriptures we have looked at today: “And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” Luke 9:35 May we all strive to Hear Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The Word of God, Follow His Example, and then receive the privilege of "seeing" His Glory! May Our Father and Savior Bless Each and Every One of You On The Other Side of This Screen. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name, this I pray. Amen!
