Good Morning Worship Worthy Wednesday...
Father, thank you for this NEW DAY. Please help us to show GRACE to others today. Let our words be filled with KINDNESS and our actions BE HELPFUL. Please help us to not respond selfishly. Instead, allow us to RESPOND WITH LOVE and SHINE YOUR LIGHT to the world. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s NAME we pray. AMEN! - Uhm… Happy Hanukkah? Is Hanukkah In The Scriptures? Part Four 1 and 2 Maccabees - A Breakdown: Essentially, both 1 & 2 Maccabees are a historical account of Antiochus IV’s desecration of The Temple and the Jewish revolt. The first Book of Maccabees starts with the story after the death of Alexander “the great.” It explains how some of the Jewish people came under the temptation of the Greeks and their hellenization. Then Antiochus (Again, Sounds Very Close To Anti-Christ) steals the Holy items (Golden Lampstand, Showbread Table, ect.) in the Temple and defiles The Temple. Soon after a religious persecution begins of The Hebrew Race, and specifically The Jewish People. Many Hebrews, Isrealites, and Jews together stand strong in their belief and worship of The One True and Living God, refusing to let themselves be defiled. This is very much a parallel to The Prophet Daniel and his friends in The Book of Daniel. The 1st Book of Maccabees introduces us to a Jewish man named Matthias and his sons, who would later become known as the Maccabean Family or just The Maccabees. The book recounts how The Maccabees resisted pagan worship, how they triumphed against the persecution, and introduces some of the alliances they formed. The 2nd Book of Maccabees was written by Jason of Cyrene. This book consists of 5 volumes and recounts the history of The Maccabean Revolt in a Greek synopsis. * A cool little fact about The Maccabees: They lead a successful revolt reclaiming The Temple and rededicating it to Our Father In Heaven. This group of highly unlikely, well-to-do, non-warrior Jews, were forced out of Jerusalem, forced to learn how to fight, banded together, and against all all odds defeated the syrian-greek oppressors. What does the meaning of the name Maccabbee mean? Are you ready for this? Maccabee means: HAMMER OF GOD. How cool right!? Isn’t it just like Our Father to use “the foolish and weak things of this world” to defeat the “mighty?” 🔥 Tomorrow, we will take a look at what The Bible says about The Maccabees, if anything, and if there is any mention of this Hebrew uprising in The New Testament. Once again, let’s enjoy a Nutritious Breakfast with The Bread of Life. Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, Reigns Eternal! May His Light Shine through us to the whole world. 💡🙌 God Bless My Brothers and Sisters! May The Peace and Grace of Our Father in Heaven and Our King and Savior Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, Be Upon You All! The Bread of Life: “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I Am The Light of The World! The one who follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have The Light of Life.” John 8:12 Let Us Shine The Light of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, To The Whole World 💥💡: “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, Shining Ever Brighter till The Full Light of Day.” Proverbs 4:18 “Is this not the fast I choose: to release the bonds of injustice, to untie the ropes of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and tear every yoke to pieces? Is it not to break your bread for the hungry? You must bring home the poor, the homeless. When you see the naked, you must cover him, and you must not hide yourself from your relatives. Then your Light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall grow quickly. And your Salvation shall go before you; The Glory of Yahweh will be your Rear Guard. Then you shall call, and Yahweh Himself will answer. You shall cry for help, and He will say, ‘Here I Am!’ If you remove from among you the yoke, the finger-pointing and evil speech, if you offer your soul to the hungry, and you satisfy the appetite of the afflicted, then your Light shall rise in the darkness, and your darkness will be like noon.” Isaiah 58:6-10 “Arise, Shine! For your Light has come, and The Glory of Yahweh Has Risen on you. For look! darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples, but Yahweh Will Rise on you, and His Glory Will Appear over you. And nations shall come to your Light, and kings to The Bright Light of your sunrise.” Isaiah 60:1-3 “You are The Light of The World. A city located on top of a hill cannot be hidden, nor do they Light a lamp and place it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it Shines on all those in the house. In the same way let your Light Shine before people, so that they can see your Good Works and glorify Your Father Who Is In Heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 “You must be prepared for action and your lamps burning. And you, be like people who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that when he comes back and knocks, they can open the door for him immediately.” Luke 12:35-36 “Do all things without grumbling and disputing, in order that you may become blameless and innocent, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you Shine as stars in the world,” Philippians 2:14-15 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below.

Good Morning Totally Submitted Tuesday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY, STRENGTHEN US to walk in that You have already prepared. SHOW US which way to go and guide us with Your wisdom along THE WAY. Abba, open our eyes. Give us the eyes of a child again—able to see You, praise You, and thank You for the simple, essential things in Life, and the profound gift OF LIFE itself. Let us see Your ENDURING LOVE in everything from the sidewalk to the sky, so that the rest of our years will overflow WITH PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO YOU. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! - Uhm… Happy Hanukkah? Is Hanukkah In The Scriptures? Part 3 This morning, let’s take a look at a couple of questions. Hopefully you were able to read some of The Book of Maccabees, it is a truly fascinating record of events. For the sake of brevity, today we will answer only two questions and then move forward tomorrow. Our two questions: 1.) Who were the Maccabees? And 2.) Where Did The Eight Day Celebration of Hanukkah begin? Here we go… Setting: Ancient Israel Time: 1st Century B.C. Ruler: Antiochus IV Epiphanes, (Greek: “god manifest”) also called Antiochus Epimanes (the mad), (born c. 215 bce—died 164, Tabae, Iran), Seleucid king of the Hellenistic (Greek) Syrian kingdom who reigned from 175 to 164 bce. As a ruler he was best known for his encouragement of Greek culture and institutions. Soon after the famous historical figure Alexander “the great’s” life was cut short, there were four generals who divided the former conquerer’s land into four different territories. One of the 4 spawning empires, the Seleucids, took control of the area in which Israel lived as a part of their Greek/Hellenist empire. This way of life threatened to destroy the identity of The Hebrew People. The Hebrews were pressured, in this time more than ever, to accept the paganistic way of living, instead of their origin which was the worship of The One True and Living God, Our Father In Heaven. (This sounds very familiar! Ecclesiastes 1:9). This pressure reached an all-time high when around 167BC Antiochus IV Epiphanes ruled over the region. Antiochus forbid any Hebrew/Jewish practices and tried to win The Israelite People into the worship of their Canaanite “gods” such as Baal. Antiochus (How very close sounding to Anti-Christ, right?) took his persecution so far as to erect an altar to the pagan false god zeus and sacrifice a pig, a Biblically unclean animal, in The Holy Temple of The Hebrews. This was huge. It wasn’t just an abomination, it was a double abomination. Both of these acts—pagan god worship and the eating of pigs—were strictly forbidden in The Bible for all Hebrews, and for it to happen within the gates of The Hebrew’s Holy Temple was unprecedented. (Exodus 20:3, Deuteronomy 14:8). In step a Jewish man dedicated to God. This one Jewish man refused to accept this pagan worship. Through Our Father, this man would change the course of HIStory. One bold man, standing against the evil Greek Empire and it’s antichrist-like ruler. His name was Mattathias. There was a greek official that tried to make Mattathias sacrifice to a false god, a pagan deity. Mattathias wasn’t having it, and this didn’t work out well for the greek official… Mattathias killed him. This is where “The Maccabees” would enter the history books forever. After Mattathias’s bold event, Mattathias’s 5 sons, Judas, John, Simon, Eleazar, and Jonathan, led an uprising. Who they were and how they led this uprising is truly an amazing story, but more on than later. These sons miraculously recaptured Jerusalem 3 years later, cleansed The Temple, and erected a new consecrated alter. This called for a celebration. This began the eight day, Biblically prescribed celebration we now call Hanukkah (“Dedication”) to celebrate The Holy Temple which had now been cleansed. This is the “short and sweet” story of who the Maccabees were and how Hanukkah began. A group of non-warrior, peaceful living Jews who decided to follow The Bible’s Instructions, rather than the worlds. In the most unlikely of situations, which Our Father Loves To Use, and much like a 15 year old boy slaying a giant, these untrained, peaceful-minded group of men led a victory against the most powerful empire on earth at that time. Pretty impressive to say the least! Tomorrow, we will take a look at The Books of 1 & 2 Maccabees. Until then, as always, let’s enjoy a nutritious breakfast with The Bread of Life. Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, Reigns and Is... The Light of The World. 💡🙌 God Bless My Brothers and Sisters! May The Peace and Grace of Our Father in Heaven and Our King and Savior Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, Be Upon You All! A Nutritious Breakfast - The Bread of Life: Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, is The Light of the World 💡: “The people who walked in darkness Have seen A Great Light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them A Light Has Shined.” Isaiah 9:2 “Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah The Prophet, saying: “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: The people who sat in darkness have seen A Great Light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:12-17 “And you, child, will be called The Prophet of The Highest; For you will go before The Face of The LORD to prepare His Ways, To give knowledge of Salvation to His people By the remission of their sins, Through the tender mercy of our God, With which The Dayspring From On High has visited us; To give Light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into The Way of Peace.” Luke 1:76-79 “In Him was Life, and The Life was The Light of men. And The Light Shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of The Light, that all through him might believe. He was not That Light, but was sent to bear witness of That Light. That was The True Light which gives Light to every man coming into the world.” John 1:4-9 “The Light of the wicked indeed goes out, And the flame of his fire does not shine. The Light is dark in his tent, And his lamp beside him is put out.” Job 18:5-6 “Hell and Destruction are never full; So the eyes of man are never satisfied. The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, And a man is valued by what others say of him.” Proverbs 27:20-21 “Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come— that The Christ would suffer, that He would be The First To Rise From The Dead, and would proclaim Light to The Jewish People and to The Gentiles.” Acts 26:22-23 “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I Am The Light of The World. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have The Light of Life.” John 8:12 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Maker’s Monday...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. We have GRATEFUL HEARTS for all You Do. Thank You for the extraordinary gifts in our lives and the EXTRAORDINARY LOVE you share with us in YOUR WORD FATHER. Lead us away from false prophets, strengthen us to endure trials, feed us Truth, and lead us toward YOUR NARROW GATE. In praise, we pray to you Father in YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, JESUS CHRIST's Mighty Name. Amen! - Uhm… Happy Hanukkah? Is Hanukkah In The Scriptures? Part Two Hanukkah, or The Festival of Lights, can be quite a mystery if you are not Jewish, or if you are not one of the two religious organizations that have it in The Bible as canon (Catholic & Greek Orthodox). If you were brought up in any other religion, it is likely you haven’t heard or read the books of 1 & 2 Maccabees. If you have a chance over the next week to read them, it is definitely encouraged, after all 1 & 2 Maccabees are in many circulating Bibles. Over the next few days we will take a look at The Maccabees, who they were, a breakdown of the two Maccabees books, and what The Scriptures have to say about them outside of The Books of The Macccabees. Again, The Festival of Lights, I believe, if looked at with “eyes to see” has everything to do with Our King and Messiah, The Savior of The Whole World, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. If it didn’t have something to do with Him... it probably wouldn’t be worth taking a look at. Being that Hanukkah does point to Him, He did go to The Temple during this festival, and He Is The Light of The Whole World, as always, we will keep our focus on Him. LONG LIVE THE KING! Tomorrow, we will take a look at the question: Who were The Maccabees? If you have a chance, start to give The Book of Maccabees a read… it is quite fascinating. Until tomorrow, let’s enjoy a Light Breakfast (Pun Intended) with a little Bread of Life about how Our King is... The Light. May Our Father and Savior’s Grace, Peace, and Love be with you all this week My Brothers and Sisters. Yahweh Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Our Father in Heaven and Our King and Savior Jesus Christ Bless You All! The Bread of Life And The Light of The Whole World, The Unequaled Holy Word of God Almighty (El Shaddai): God Our Father Is The Source of Light & Gives Light. Let us remember... He and Yeshua Are One 🔥: “And God said, “Let there be Light!” And there was Light. And God saw The Light, that it was good, and God caused there to be a separation between The Light and between the darkness. And God called The Light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.” Genesis 1:3-5 “And you will command the Israelites, and they will bring to you pure, beaten olive oil for The Light, to cause a lamp to burn continually. In The Tent of Assembly outside The Curtain That Is Before The Testimony (The Ark), Aaron and his sons will arrange it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh as a lasting statute throughout their generations from the Israelites.” Exodus 27:20-21 “Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Command the Israelites that they should bring pure olive oil from beaten olives for The Light to present a lamp continually. Aaron shall arrange for it outside The Curtain of The Testimony (The Ark) in The Tent of Assembly from evening until morning before Yahweh continually; it shall be a lasting statute throughout your generations. On The Pure Golden Lampstand he shall arrange for The Lamps before Yahweh continually.” Leviticus 24:1-4 “For with You is The Fountain of Life; in Your Light we see Light.” Psalms 36:9 “Bless Yahweh, O my soul. O Yahweh my God, You are very great. You clothe Yourself with splendor and majesty, You Who cover Yourself with Light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a tent curtain,” Psalms 104:1-2 “The One Who Alone possesses immortality, Who lives in unapproachable Light, whom no human being has seen nor is able to see, to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:16 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from The Father of Lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow of change. By His Will He gave birth to us through The Message of Truth, so that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.” James 1:17-18 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Beautiful Sunday…
FATHER, THANK YOU that in Your Anointed Son, we are chosen, set-apart (holy) and genuinely loved. When we are tempted to measure our lives according to the world's standards or our foolish comparisons, HELP US to recognize the enemy’s lies, refuse his temptations, avoid his snares, and RELY ON YOUR BEAUTIFUL TRUTH ABOUT WHO WE ARE instead,… SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD ALMIGHTY! IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s NAME we pray. AMEN! Good morning Brothers and Sisters. Being that Hanukkah begins tonight at sundown, we will pause with our regularly scheduled devotions and take a look at our annual Hanukkah series. In order to prepare for each Hanukkah moving forward, because God’s Wonderful Word always has a mystery to be revealed, and because this servant is getting so many questions… let’s take a look at this festival and see what God’s Word has to say about it. During these next few days we may be able to answer some questions such as: What Is Hanukkah All About? Is Hanukkah Biblical? Did Our Messiah Celebrate It? Should we celebrate it? And maybe more questions we didn’t even realize we had. Enjoy! God Bless everyone and have a wonderful, Yeshua-Light-Filled week! - Uhm… Happy Hanukkah? Is Hanukkah In The Scriptures? Part 1 I can still remember saying, years ago: “I am not going to celebrate Hanukkah because it’s not in The Bible.” Can you imagine my surprise when I made that comment out loud and my former Bible Mentor and pastor declared: “Of course Hanukkah is in The Bible!” “What?! Really?,” I replied. “Yes,” he gently and excitedly said. Then he said something that really shocked me. He continued, “Yes, and Yeshua (Jesus) went to The Festival as well.” I didn’t understand. I knew my Bible pretty darn well and I had never seen one mention of it. My pastor proceeded to explain , in “laymans” terms, that The Festival of Dedication or Festival of Rededication, the very one Yeshua attended in Scripture, was in fact Hanukkah, AKA The Festival of Lights. I was amazed. No one had ever explained this or shown this to me. I now had to rethink my position. If My King Yeshua, Jesus Christ, celebrated it, and He Is our Perfect Example... maybe it was time to give Hanukkah some consideration. This brings us to today’s Scripture in John chapter 10. Let’s give The Word a good read and revisit this tomorrow. Our King, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Is... The Light Of The Whole World, and us who follow Him are “Living Temples” dedicated to Him. Since Hanukkah is also called The Festival of Lights, or The Festival of Dedication, let us dedicate the next few days to Him, The Word of God, and find out for ourselves what Hanukkah is all about. Let’s start today with Hanukkah in The Word. Tomorrow we will dig deeper. Until then... Happy Hanukkah! May The Light of The Whole World Shine upon each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen, and may Our Father’s Peace rest upon you. God Bless you My Brothers and Sisters and Shalom! The Bread of Life: “Then came The Festival of Dedication at Jerusalem. It was winter, and Yeshua (Jesus) was in the temple courts walking in Solomon’s Colonnade. The Jews who were there gathered around Him, saying, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are The Messiah, tell us plainly.” Yeshua (Jesus) answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in My Father’s Name testify about Me, but you do not believe because you are not My Sheep. My Sheep listen to My Voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them Eternal Life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of My Hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father’s Hand. I and the Father are One.” Again His Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone Him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from The Father. For which of these do you stone Me?” “We are not stoning You for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because You, a mere man, claim to be God.” Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’? If He called them ‘gods,’ to whom The Word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside— what about The One Whom The Father Set Apart As His Very Own And Sent Into The World? Why then do You accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I Am God’s Son’? Do not believe Me unless I do The Works of My Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe Me, believe The Works, that you may know and understand that The Father Is In Me, and I In The Father.” Again they tried to seize Him, but He escaped their grasp.” John 10:22-39 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Holy Sabbath...
FATHER thank You for MAKING this NEW day. We ask that You OPEN our HEARTS and MINDS to the infinite TRUTH, GRACE, WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE, and MERCY SUPPLIED to us in YOUR WORD, OUR ALMIGHTY GOD. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's Holy Name we pray, AMEN! - Our Father and Savior’s Gift of The Sabbath “Remember The Sabbath day by keeping it holy… The Seventh Day is a Sabbath to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God.” —Exodus 20:8, 10 -- God’s commands are not intended to put us in a corner or limit us. They are intended to give us Life, Peace, Rejuvenation, Love, and so much more! Our Father’s commandments are Loving, amazing gifts to us. As we willingly submit to them, we discover The Path of Life, Blessing, Healing, Wisdom, Discernment, Understanding, and PEACE! One of the many gifts God Our Father gives is The Gift of Sabbath. As we open this gift, we begin to experience the joy of simply “being” and are freed from the burden of relentless “doing.” Through God’s good gift of Sabbath, we’re invited to draw our life and nourishment from His Vine, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, into our branches (John 15:5). Let us unwrap this wonderful gift. As we do, we’re going to discover that Sabbath is about a lifestyle, a rhythm, a harmony, a way of taking part in Life that feeds our soul and develops our spirit. Many Christians have grown up thinking that Sabbath is little more than a day each week when they aren’t allowed to ride a bike, clean the house, or visit a store. But Sabbath, as God designed it, is to help us grow into the fullness He intends for us. Sabbath is The Pattern of Life that Our King Jesus lived—a rhythm of active service and quiet retreat, of dynamic ministry energized by times of intentional withdrawal to be with Our Father In Heaven, The Creator of Heaven and Earth. If Yeshua (Jesus) needed time to be alone with His Father, how much more is that true for us! Prayer: Thank you, Father, for Your Loving, Faithful, Correct, Life-Giving, and Perfect Commandments, and in particular, for The Gift of Sabbath. Be with us Father and help us rediscover the true Joy, Freedom, Comfort, and Peace of this wonderful gift! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ The King's Name, we praise You, bless You, and thank You Our Almighty Father In Heaven! Amen! Fuel for the Soul: “I AM Yahweh your God, Who brought you out of The Land of Egypt, out of The House of Bondage. “You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, Am A Jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate Me, and showing Loving Kindness to thousands of those who Love Me and keep My Commandments. “You shall not take The Name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain. “Remember The Sabbath Day, to keep it Holy. You shall labor six days, and do all your work, but The Seventh Day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; for in six days Yahweh made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested The Seventh Day; therefore Yahweh Blessed The Sabbath Day, and made it holy. “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. “You shall not murder. “You shall not commit adultery. “You shall not steal. “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance. They said to Moses, “Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don’t let God speak with us, lest we die.” Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid, for God has come to test you, and that His Fear may be before you, that you won’t sin.” Exodus 20:2-20 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Friday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, KNOWLEDGE, AND DISCIPLINE. Father, we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. There is a lot happening in our world right now, prophecy is unfolding before our eyes, and it is more important than ever to be “In The Word.” On the flip side, it is more important now than ever to “be not of the world.” Most everyone’s lives have been turned in directions we probably didn’t think we would be heading these days, and while some serious stress can be involved, it is still quite exciting. Due to some humbling surprises, the series that we were going to start today cannot be shared, it will have to wait. This servant has whole hearted faith this happened for good reason. So today, Have A HEART and let’s enjoy a throwback devotion. Have a wonderful day and God Bless you My Brothers and Sisters. May The Spirit, Peace, Grace, and Love of Yahweh Yeshua Ha’Mashiach be upon you all! - Have A H.E.A.R.T: God Is Calling You While looking for articles about "getting more out of God's Word," I recently ran across a wonderful acronym for this very thing. While many people may do a good job of getting into God's Word, they don't necessarily do a good job of letting God's Word get into them. This exercise could help. The acronym is HEART and each letter stands for a discipline that is important when studying The Word of Truth. It is important, because it keeps us humbly communing with, examining, analyzing, remembering, and thinking about El Olam (The Everlasting God), Our Awesome Father. Let's take a look: H is for Hear - Listen to sermons, teachings, or testimony. Hear what Our Father is doing. Revisit old sermons you haven't heard in a long time and. see if you hear anything different. E is for Examine - Read The Word A is for Analyze - Study The Word R is for Remember - God's Word states that we need to “remember" many times in The Bible. Memorize some Scripture… any Scripture. T is for Think - Think about The Word, what Our Father is saying to you, and what He is saying to us all. H - Hear E - Examine A - Analyze R - Remember T - Think It was explained to me that the first four letters represented the first four fingers of our hand, how they are helpful and necessary to get a balanced understanding of God's Word. The last letter is your thumb. Think about trying to pick up a Bible without a thumb. It would be pretty difficult. Finally, it was explained that truly spending time thinking about and memorizing God's Word allows us to apply it in a more rich way throughout our daily lives. This acronym reminded me very much of one my faithful mother taught us growing up, so it resonated inside my HEART. I pray it does the same for each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen. Remember, next time you want to “get more” when studying Our Father’s Word... Just have a HEART. God Bless everybody! May The Peace of Our Father and His Son Our Savior rest upon you today... and everyday. Have a Wonderful-Holy-Word-of-God-HEART-Filled weekend! 🙌🔥🍞 The Word of God: James 1:25 has all 5 of the HEART METHODS described in it: “But he who looks into The Perfect Law of Liberty (Torah) and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” James 1:25 “Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of The LORD and in The Comfort of The Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.” Acts 9:31 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our LORD Jesus Christ,” Romans 5:1 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32 “Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.” Romans 14:19 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Thursday...
FATHER THANK YOU FOR this NEW day. THANK YOU FOR the BREATH we breath and for waking us this morning. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO. WE THANK YOU AND PRAISE YOU for all You do IN THE MIGHTY AND POWERFUL NAME OF YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, JESUS CHRIST’S NAME. AMEN! A big thank you to Brother Larry Good and Larry Good Ministries for today’s devotion. May Yahweh Bless you Brother! Thought Verses: “Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask for it from God, who gives to all without reservation and not reproaching, and it will be given to him. But let him ask for it in faith, without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed about. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from The LORD; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” James 1:5-8 LEB “Now without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who approaches God must believe that He Exists and is a rewarder of those who Seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 - Dare You to Pray This Prayer . . . Double Dog Dare You In the aftermath of adultery and murder, King David pleaded with God. He begged God not to cut him off. “Do not cast me away from Your Presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.” Psalms 51:11 NKJV You see, David had experienced what it’s like to Know God, what it’s like to Spend Time With Him, to Listen To Him and Trust Him, to Love And Be Loved By Him—and he dreaded losing that closeness and goodness and Truth. So, in desperation, he invited God to do something new in him. He invited God to rebuild his heart, in any way He would like. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10 NKJV He gave himself up. He gave himself over . . . to whatever work, whatever journey, whatever adventure God might have for him. He decided to trust God more than he trusted himself. How about we do that too? We may or may not be guilty of adultery or murder, but we’re all sinners. We all carry sin’s weight. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and The Truth is not in us.” I John 1:8 NKJV So how about we too invite God to do something new in us? How about we too give ourselves over to whatever work, whatever journey, whatever adventure God might have for each of us? We’ll be better for it—God’s Brilliant, He’s good, and He Loves Us. Might it be scary? Sure it might. Might it be a little painful even? Sure it might. Will it be one of the best things we ever do? Absolutely it will. Okay, so what do we do? Pray: “Do a new work in me, Father God. Create in me a clean heart, and renew in me a steadfast spirit. You’re Holy and Brilliant and Good, and You Love me. So do whatever You’d like and, whatever it is, I’m in. I’ll trust You more than I trust myself. Help me Father, and do whatever it takes to draw me closer to You. I am pleading to You Father In Your Son Yeshua, Jesus's Christ's Name, Amen.” God Bless My Brothers and Sisters and have a Wonderful-Drawing-Closer-To-Our-Father-In-Heaven-Day! Thanks to my Brother in Yeshua who shared this devotional with me. Our Father always uses His Servants with Perfect Timing. Wisdom Verse: “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) shall be safe.” —Proverbs 29:25 You might be surprised to learn that more than half of these Christian martyrs died in the 20th century. We tend to think of martyrs as people who lived in ages past—people like Stephen of the early church period or Huss, Tyndale, Knox, and so many others of the Reformation era. But, in reality, Christians today are dying for their faith in huge numbers. Some estimate an average of more than 280 Christians die for their faith every day, or about one every five minutes. These statistics only count Christians who were killed because they were Christians, and not those who happened to be victims of war. It takes extreme courage for people to stand firm in their faith in the face of violent persecution, especially if it means surrendering their lives. This kind of courage can only come from God. Fear of man is a trap that many people fall into; even such champions of faith as Abraham and Elijah fell prey to this type of fear at some point in their lives. When we fear other people, it makes us vulnerable. We live in dread of what others might think about us or do to us. The solution is a deep fear, or respect, for God. We need to live our lives with deep reverence for Our Father In Heaven, serving only Him, and paying more attention to what God says than to what anyone else says. “Whoever trusts in The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) shall be safe” doesn’t mean that there won’t be trials, persecution, or even death. It means that, in the end, God will redeem the ones who trust in Him. “The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) redeems the soul of His servants, and none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned” (Psalm 34:22), “neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28). The psalmist writes, “The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Psalm 118:6). Along the same lines, Jesus said, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28). In the end, only God deserves our fear and worship. Dear Father God, keep us from being ensnared by a fear of man. May we fear only You and be always faithful. KEY BIBLE TEXTS: The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever. The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall. Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul. Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth The Law (Torah, Instructions), happy is he. A servant will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer. Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him. He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length. An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression. A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not. The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) shall be safe. Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh). An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in The Way is abomination to the wicked. Father God, may we BE GRATEFUL for our lot, and COMPASSIONATE TOWARD ALL those who are suffering every kind of distress during these difficult days. May we hold back nothing, and hasten to be a people who MINISTER PRAYER, MERCY, AND LOVE like Your Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and Your Apostles who went about DOING GOOD IN TIMES OF NEED. Father, please help us in BUILDING FAITH so WE can be Your instruments of LOVE and do YOUR GOOD WORKS. We ask this IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST, our Messiah’s Mighty and Blessed Name. AMEN! - An Exercise In Connecting With Our Almighty Father In Heaven - By FAITH #2 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek to grow stronger through Your Word. Help us to show our Thankfulness, Help us to find Your Shalom (Peace), and help to strengthen our FAITH. Be with us. Thank You. In Yeshua, Jesus's Name we pray. Amen. Step 2 - Read Read the Scripture slowly. Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His Great Love with which He Loved Us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in The Heavenly Places In Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His Kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is The Gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God Prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:1-10 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. What is God trying to tell you? Step 4 - Respond Respond to The Word you just read. Talk to Your Father about how you feel. Tell Him what is on your mind. Tell Him what is on your heart. As you go through your day today keep your eyes open to what you read, what you uncovered, or what you spoke to God about. You may find Him showing up in places you didn't expect. God Bless everybody… May The God Of All Good Things increase your FAITH and give you SHALOM (PEACE)! Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Monday…
Father YAH, help us be people of PURE HEARTS and FIND the GOODNESS You have put in our world. Help us also BE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE on those with untrusting and unbelieving hearts, that they might see Your LOVE through us and desire THAT SAME LOVE. Heal us Father. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN. - A Simple Prayer For The Week Dear Father Yahweh, You are... The Giver Of All Blessings. You reside in heaven and are Above All. We thank You for being a kind and merciful Father. Please be with us and guide us as we go through our week. Forgive us for our sins against you Father and deliver us from our remaining carnal nature. Help us to forgive others as you forgive us. Create in us clean hearts Father and let us serve you in a manner that is pleasing to you. Your Kingdom Will Endure Forever and we long to be with You. We ask that you feed us Father. Feed us with Your Food Father, the food Your Son told our Brothers, the disciples, that they did not "know about" when Yeshua was at the well with the Samaritan Woman. Finally Father, lead us not into temptation and deliver us from the evil one. Yours Is The Kingdom, Power, and Glory Abba, Forever and Ever. In Your Mighty Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name We Pray these things. Amen. Extra Fuel For The Soul AKA Manna From Heaven AKA The Word of The Most High: “In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?” Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:31-35 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10 “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, so that you are healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous one accomplishes much.” James 5:16 “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” II Corinthians 9:10-11, 15 “His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with His Arm; He has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty. He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as He promised our ancestors.” Luke 1:50-55 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, or thoughts in the comments below. |
