Good Morning Tuesday.......
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your TRUTH. Thank You for Your Great Love and Mercy. Thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. - Pride & Destruction. Humility & Honor. Part 1 One powerful way that God Our Father helps to grow us is by humbling us and instilling humility in us. He uses our fleshly pride, when we get too puffed up with knowledge, skill, understanding, ect., and shows us how foolish pride makes us. The pharisees were a prime example of this. Can you imagine how humbled some of them were when Our Savior Yeshua visited them after they had crucified him? I am sure all of us can remember saying at some point: “I could have swore you said (Insert Mistake)...” or “I am so sorry, I didn’t think (Insert Mistake)...” or “I can’t believe I forgot (Insert Mistake)..., I am so sorry” and these are just a few on the minor side of the fallout of pride and acting in haste. Can you remember a time when you tossed something across a room and hit someone accidentally, feeling horrible because you weren’t paying attention? Or judging someone hastily and then realizing they were a servant of The Most High, or an extremely likable person? Our pride can be a very dangerous thing in our lives, and has the power to completely blind us in our walk with Our Father and Messiah. We can miss things very easily when we pridefully think ourselves “too smart” or “wise” or “crafty” to be wrong. I have seen great men of God fall because of pride and I have seen a homeless man miss meals and the opportunity for shelter and a warm bed because of pride. No one is immune and no one truly prospers with pride. Pride is as subtle as “the serpent” and we must always be mindful not to fall in this “snare” that the enemy, who is “prowling around like a roaring lion,” would gloat and relish if we fell into. Before we go any further, lets take a look at some witnesses from The Word of Yah, God Our Father. Tomorrow we will continue and take a look at some of the manifestations of pride in our world. Now, let’s follow up with some Bread of Life, AKA The Word of God Our Father, and we will pick up where we left tomorrow. God Bless every one of you, my Brothers and Sisters, and have a wonderful Yeshua, Jesus Christ-Filled and blessed day. The Bread of Life AKA The Word of El Shaddai (God Almighty), Our Father In Heaven: “When pride comes [boiling up with an arrogant attitude of self-importance], then come dishonor and shame, But with the humble [the teachable who have been chiseled by trial and who have learned to walk humbly with God] there is wisdom and soundness of mind.” Proverbs 11:2 AMP “Proud,” “Haughty,” “Scoffer,” are his names Who acts with overbearing and insolent pride.” Proverbs 21:24 AMP “Jesus repeatedly ordered them, saying, “Watch out! Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” Mark 8:15 AMP “Now God was displeased with this act [of arrogance and pride], and He struck Israel.” 1 Chronicles 21:7 AMP “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time,” 1 Peter 5:6 AMP “Through pride and presumption come nothing but strife, But [skillful and godly] wisdom is with those who welcome [well-advised] counsel.” Proverbs 13:10 AMP “He frustrates the devices and schemes of the crafty, So that their hands cannot attain success or achieve anything of [lasting] worth.” Job 5:12 AMP “Like a roaring lion and a charging bear Is a wicked ruler over a poor people.” Proverbs 28:15 AMP “Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. But resist him, be firm in your faith [against his attack—rooted, established, immovable], knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being experienced by your brothers and sisters throughout the world. [You do not suffer alone.]” 1 Peter 5:8-9 AMP “Thorns and snares are in the way of the obstinate [for their lack of honor and their wrong-doing traps them]; He who guards himself [with godly wisdom] will be far from them and avoid the consequences they suffer.” Proverbs 22:5 AMP

Good Morning Monday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. Please impart in our hearts YOUR WILL. We ask for Patience, Kindness, Humility, and Truth so we may show You and Your Son's Light in this fallen world. In Yeshua, JESUS CHRIST's Name. Amen. - Breaking With The Familiar: Go Outside The Camp “Moses took his tent and pitched it outside the camp, far from the camp, and called it the tabernacle of meeting. And it came to pass that everyone who sought The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) went out to the tabernacle of meeting which was outside the camp. So it was, whenever Moses went out to the tabernacle, that all the people rose, and each man stood at his tent door and watched Moses until he had gone into the tabernacle. And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) talked with Moses.” Exodus 33:7-9 Today, let’s take a look at what it takes to "break" with the familiar and step into The Presence of God Our Father. How do we do this? How do we enter into God's Presence and into that Sacred Place? Did you by chance notice in the verse today, Exodus 33:7-9, that it said: "ANYONE who sought The Lord would go out?" I think that answers our question. If we are truly seeking God Our Father, we all must "go out" and "seek The Lord" just as Moses and "ANYONE" who sought to meet with Our Creator did. We figuratively and literally need to pitch our tent "a good distance from the camp." What is this camp? It is the familiar in our lives. Familiarity is the camp, and just like Moses, we have to "go out" from this camp. Now, don't get me wrong, there is nothing innately sinful or wrong with things that are familiar. But if we are not more familiar with Our Father and His Son Our King... How do we have a "measuring stick" to know if what we are familiar with is sinful or evil? Remember, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, told His Disciples to "follow" Him. Jesus told them to leave there familiar pattern of living, come be alone with Him, and it was often for long periods of time (Matthew 19:27; Luke 14:33). Why? Because we sometimes have to break being unconsciously ruled by that which is familiar to us. Yeshua, Jesus, The Savior of The Whole World, was well aware that the familiar could, by nature, entrap men and have major influence on their brain patterns and actions. Jesus Is The One Who Teaches Us How To " Not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2)" and those who follow Him will learn how to Receive The Eternal, and rescue us from the limitations of the temporal... AKA “the world.” Praise God Our Father for sending us The One Who Could Lead and Show Us How To "Go Outside The Camp" Of Familiarity And Grow Closer To God!!! 😃🙌🔥 God Bless and have a Great God-Filled Day everyone! Fuel For The Soul: “Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?” Matthew 19:27 “So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2 Good Morning Sunday.......
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. You Are The One True Living God. We ask for Your Guidance, In Your Way. Dear Heavenly Father Make Us Conduits of YOUR LIGHT and YOUR LOVE. Help us Father so that WE SHINE for Your Glory... TODAY!!! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen! Brothers and Sisters, this devotion is one that was shared what seems like years ago now. When you share something with your Brothers and Sisters, and Our Father lets you know that it touched even ONE of them... it means so very much. There is ONE Sister in particular who let me know... “this message was for her” (Thank You Sister Becky). It was, and still is, very encouraging. Our Father, Our Redeemer, Our King, His Holy Spirit... was moving that day, as He Always Is. He used this message, His Message, to touch a Life that morning. I believe... He Is Going To Do It Again. This morning I feel led to share it. It is not the devotion that I thought I would share, but it is ONE I believe is needed. This message is short, but Powerful. It is definitely a message that is for everyone, but having the “led Spirit” to share it again makes me wonder who it will “touch” today. Is it someone who it will be shared with that I don’t even know? Is it someone who receives this message, not on the website, but personally? Is it someone who feels they are at the “end of their rope” and needs some encouragement to make it through the day? Is it you? Whoever it may be, I believe with everything in me, He Is... Going To “Do It Again” ( See song link in the conclusion). I Love you all so very much. Have a wonderful Our Father, God Almighty - Filled Day. Remember, for Him... Nothing Is Impossible. 🙌🔥🎯 - Our Father, God Almighty: One Message: He’s Gonna Do It Again! Are you tired? Are you in a tight spot? Are you struggling with a problem? Do you have a friend who is in need? Do you have a child who is discouraged? Are you facing what seems to be insurmountable odds? Are looking for relief? Do you need encouragement? Do you need strength? Do you need a way out? Do you need more? Whatever you are struggling with today... whatever battle you face... whatever the situation, just remember... There Is One Who Can Do ANYTHING. There is One Who Can Deliver You. There is One Who Loves You More Than All The Rest. There is One... One God One Hope One Sacrifice One Faith One Hero One People One Love No matter what you face today, tomorrow, this week, this year, or this life, there is One Who Delivers, Saves, Lifts Up, Changes Circumstances, Does What We Think Is Impossible, and One Who Makes All Things New. This morning and every morning, Our Father wants you to remember this One Truth, One Message, and One Verse. As Our Savior tells us, all we must do is believe. There is One... and for Him... Nothing, and I mean Nothing... Is Out Of Reach. Whatever it is you may be facing today...Remember... whatever you need... turn to Him. Why?: “For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37 May Our Father, The One True and Living God Almighty, Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen. May all of the problems each of us face this week be put into the proper perspective knowing we have a Father who is God Almighty (El Shaddai), and nothing is beyond His Reach. Shalom (Divine Peace, Completeness) my family! For your listening pleasure and encouragement. He Is... Going to “Do It Again” 👇: https://youtu.be/0B_lnQIITxU Good Morning Sabbath.......
Father Thank You for Your Rest. Thank You for Your Day. Please give us PEACE. In Yeshua Ha'Mashiach, Jesus Christ The Messiah's Name we pray. Amen. - An Exercise In Connecting With God Our Father: Finding Peace #5 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek in Your Word. Help us to find Your Peace. Be with us. Thank You. In Yeshua, Jesus's Name we pray. Amen Step 2 - Read Read the Scripture slowly. Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “I will bless The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh); The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify The LORD (YHWH , Yahweh) with me, And let us exalt His Name together. I sought The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and The LORD (YHWH , Yahweh) heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The Angel of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh ) encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek The LORD (YHWH , Yahweh) shall not lack any good thing. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh). Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) are on the righteous, And His Ears are open to their cry.” Psalms 34:1-15 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. What is God trying to tell you? Step 4 - Respond Respond to The Word you just read. Talk to Your Father about how you feel. Tell Him what is on your mind. Tell him what is on your heart. As you go through your day today keep your eyes open to what you read, what you uncovered, or what you spoke to God about. You may find Him showing up in places you didn't expect. God Bless Everyone. May The God Of All Good Things Give each and every one of you PEACE. Good Morning Friday...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name. Amen! - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Daniel) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated, and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible and find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word.🔥 Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages, over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what?! Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God ( The Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Daniel, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior, were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Daniel, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, and Love for Your Children. We thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Daniel, A Prophet of God Almighty, Yahweh, and The Savior of The World, Yeshua Jesus Christ: “Now Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the fine food of the king, and with the wine that he drank, and so he requested from the commander of the court officials permission so that he would not defile himself. And God gave Daniel favor and compassion before the commander of the court officials,” Daniel 1:8-9 LEB “that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his companions should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.” Daniel 2:18-19 WEB “and declared: May the name of God be praised forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals the deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him. I offer thanks and praise to You, God of my fathers, because You have given me wisdom and power. And now You have let me know what we asked of You, for You have let us know the king’s mystery.” Daniel 2:20-23 HCSB “Daniel answered the king and said, “Regarding the mystery about which the king has inquired, neither the wise men, enchanters, magicians, nor astrologers are able to answer the king, but there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days (end of days). This was your dream and the vision [that appeared] in your mind while on your bed. As for you, O king, as you were lying on your bed thoughts came into your mind about what will take place in the future; and He who reveals secrets has shown you what will occur.” Daniel 2:27-29 AMP “Then Daniel began distinguishing himself above the administrators and the satraps because an exceptional spirit was in him, and so the king planned to appoint him over the whole kingdom.” Daniel 6:3 LEB “As I prayed to the LORD my God, I made this confession: Please, my Lord—you are the great and awesome God, the one who keeps the covenant, and truly faithful to all who love him and keep his commands: We have sinned and done wrong. We have brought guilt on ourselves and rebelled, ignoring your commands and your laws. We haven’t listened to your servants, the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our leaders, our parents, and to all the land’s people.” Daniel 9:4-6 CEB “Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.” Daniel 10:12 ESV “He answered and said, “But I see four men loose and walking in the midst of the fire, and they are unharmed. And the form of the fourth is like the Son of God!” Daniel 3:25 MEV “Then Nebuchadnezzar said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who believed in, trusted in, and relied on Him! And they set aside the king's command and yielded their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, and language that speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces and their houses be made a dunghill, for there is no other God who can deliver in this way! Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 3:28-30 AMPC “When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.” Daniel 6:20-23 NIV Good Morning Thursday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. We ask that you OPEN our HEARTS and MINDS to YOUR infinite GRACE, WISDOM, and PEACE, so WE may SERVE You in the manner most PLEASING to YOU. In Your Mighty Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's name we pray. Amen! - What Truly Matters: The Revelation of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ God Our Father Is Always Calling Us To Him. He Places His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Right In Front Of Us, when we answer that call. Many things in life will try to muffle, stamp out, and silence that call, yet none can. Our Father Calls For Us To Come. He doesn't do this with threat, with force, or with deception. If we only answer this call, where we are, as we are, expectant of His Truth and unashamed, He Will Respond. We all fight a constant desire for those things that the "flesh" desires, that the world offers, but "take heart" His Son has overcome the world and "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world (1John 4:4)." Rest assured that what Our Father Has To Offer Is Far More Beneficial than what the world, flesh, or anything else has to offer. Being apart from Him and His Son... is the opposite of Life, Truth, and The Way. There must be a time in each believer's journey when they choose Our Father above anything else in their lives. This is what it takes for true change, change from the inside out. With an understanding and comprehension that nothing compares to when Our Father shows you to Yeshua, Jesus Christ, you will be able to face anything that flesh, worldliness, or the enemy throws at you. There is nothing more important than the revelation and revealing of Yeshua from Our Father, and this is when we find true wholeness and purpose... In Him. The revelation of Jesus Christ is incomparable, life-changing, eye-opening, and it is... What Truly Matters. If you have not had that revelation, I encourage you today to ask Our Father to reveal Him, seek the revelation of Him, and knock on the door, for He Will open it. If you have, congratulations... for you know God, and you know Salvation. HalleluYAH! Prayer: Dear Father, help us to always say yes to You. In this moment, help us to surrender ourselves to You and ask You to be Master of Our Lives. Give us the Truth, Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge of You so that we seek You constantly in our lives. You Are Life, Truth, The Way, and Love. Bless You and Your Holiness. Thank You for Loving us despite our faults, sins, pride, and lusts of the world. You Make Us Better. You Heal Our Afflictions. You Gave Us Christ Yeshua, Jesus Your Son. You Teach Us What Truly Matters Through Him. Bless You Forever and Ever. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. The Word of God: “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,” Philippians 3:8-10 ““Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 “One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.” Psalms 27:4 “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” Jeremiah 33:3 “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13 Good Morning Wednesday...

Thank You Father for the blessing of this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay focused on YOUR WISDOM TODAY! In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name we pray. Amen! - Revisiting An Old Friend - Soulja of God - Ever Wonder Why You Are So Strange? Recently I have felt very strongly about repentance. I understand that without it, there can be no reconciliation, and we always want to be reconciling with Our Father... King of All. To repent in the Hebrew term, Tshuva, means to “turn back or return” (To YHWH Yeshua). During my own process of Tshuva, or repentence, I decided to revisit my first “Reborn” moments in Life. My New, More Abundant Life, that is. It wasn’t long before I ran across an Old Friend, Soulja of God. This is a Brother who can always get “The Troops” “Fired Up.” The following transcript is from one of a series of videos produced by Soulja of God. The link to the video of today’s transcript will be available in the conclusion of today’s devotion. I pray it lights a Fire in everyone who reads it... For Our Father Is A Consuming Fire (Hebrews 12:29), and I believe He Is Ready for us to be “Lit”... Continually (Leviticus 24:2). We are all facing a deceitful enemy, in fact... when he lies, he speaks his native tongue (John 8:44). We all need Holy Armor (Ephesians 6:11-20), Holy Brothers & Sisters In Christ (Deut 7:6), and Holy Moses do we need Fortitude (John 16:33). The kind of Fortitude that only comes by “Being Still” (Exodus 14:14, Zechariah 2:13, Psalms 46:10) and allowing Our Master-Creator-Brother-Father-Best Friend-Confidant-King Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, to “Do Work” (John 10:37). May Yahweh Yeshua Ha’Mashiach Bless Each And Every One of you on the other side of this screen... and May Each and Every One of You Experience... His Love, and His Fire. 🔥 Transcript From Soulja of God’s Video: Ever Wonder Why You Are So Strange? You are a generation called to be reformers. You are... a reforming generation. You are here because God Has Marked you. You are here because you want to be a Difference Maker. There is something inside your DNA that can’t accept status quo, “business as usual” - things as they are. You will never fit in the box marked “normal.” Deep in your heart you know you are called to change things... To “ROCK the boat.” You Love God, but hate religion. When you Draw Close To Him it only makes you hungry for more... you have “God Cravings.” You crave His Presents, but loathe the average church service. You refuse to let the world around you shape or define you. When you dream it is about... The Impossible. When you see pain you know you are called to heal it. When you face adversity you don’t fear... because you measure it against Your God. You are dangerous to evil, to satan, because your life is not your own. To Live Is Christ, To Die Is Gain. You wonder why you’re so strange... so different. When others want to party, you want to pray. When they laugh, you weep. When they dance, you mourn. You will never fit in the typical societal niche, because you are a REFORMER. You don’t live for fame. You would never lower your goal to being rich and famous. You’re An Abraham. You’re A Joshua. You’re An Esther. You Are... A David. Bullets don’t scare you... Mediocrity scares you... Indifference scares you. Losing your life doesn’t scare you, wasting it does. Father thank You for this NEW day. Thank You for this day’s BREATH that we BREATHE. Help us, guide us, fill us with Your Light, and lead us to be MORE like Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name we pray. Amen! - An Exercise In Connecting With God Our Father: Finding Peace #4 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek in Your Word. Help us to find Your Peace. Be with us. Thank You. In Yeshua, Jesus's Name we pray. Amen Step 2 - Read Read the Scripture slowly. Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:1-9 NKJV Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. May The God Of All Good Things Give each and everyone of you PEACE. Good Morning Sunday...
Thank you Father for this NEW DAY, “BE STILL,” You say, “and know that I Am God,” Yes Father, help us to be still. HELP US to know—with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our soul—that You are God... OUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name we pray. AMEN! A Big Thank You to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today’s devotion. “Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.” Acts 17:11 - A Berean Bible Study: False Prophets & The Narrow Gate - Part 2 “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12 The letter to the Colossians presents us with a good example of the warning here. The church members had been presented with something that looked attractive, something they were told would enhance their worship of God, but it was actually a pagan idea. Contrary to the sales pitch they were hearing, they needed to get it out of their lives, out of their worship of God, or it would eventually lead them completely astray. They were being deceived by something that appeared right. It seemed so good, and it indeed had its positive qualities, in a way. Paul, though, could see that death waited at its end. The people, apparently, were deluded into thinking about it an entirely different way. Humanly, God has given us multiple ways to express our personalities that have nothing at all to do with sin or necessarily, with His way. But there is only one "Way," and that is His. When it is alloyed with other ways, it is not improved by any means. The Word of God is pure, and when things are added to it, it is not made stronger or enhanced. Added things actually make it worse; it is made weaker. We can express our personalities in things like fashion. Look how many different designs there are to clothing. The same applies to furniture or automobiles. Their makers change them on us every so often to make them appeal. People buy things that appeal to the expression of their personalities. The same is true with houses and yards. Look at the landscaping varieties that there are—hundreds of different flowers, bushes, and trees that we can put in our yards to express a little bit of the beauty of God in our own way. Food and drink are other examples of variety in personal expression. But in terms of morality and spirituality, the Way is extremely narrow. "Wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, . . . [yet] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14). This is the principle we are dealing with in this case. In Colosse, the Christians were victims of yet another attempt to syncretize something moral and spiritual—but humanly devised—to God's Way. In this case, it was a philosophy of asceticism and the worship of demons, which they were being told would enhance their worship of God. It appeared to be so spiritual, but it was effectively cutting them off from the true Object of their faith and their Source of power to overcome—Christ. |
