Good Morning Thursday.......
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Please help us today to bring glory to YOUR NAME. Help us to understand YOUR WILL. Help us to understand YOUR SON and OUR CALLING. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name we pray. Amen. - There's Alot In His Name: The Many Names Of God Our Father (1) Have you ever stopped a minute to really think about The Names of God in The Bible? How many are there? What do they mean? What is Our Father and Our Savior trying to tell us with these Names? I would propose that there is Much In His Name. Each One a different Title, each One a different piece of The Character of The One True And Living God, Our Father. That's pretty exciting to think we can become closer to Our Father just by studying His Names! I mean, how can we call on Him, Our Father, if we don't know His Names? Can you imagine not knowing the names of the man who raised you? We usually call "that man" dad, right? It would be silly to imagine not knowing our dads name. Well, it should seem silly not to know Our Heavenly Dad and Father's Names Either. Let us take some time to just look at some of the Many Names of God Our Father, what they mean to us, and think about what they show and tell us about His Character, His Countenance, and His Sovereignty. May we gather a little closer to Our Father as we read them. Here they are, plucked right out of His Word for us to glean. Let's take a look: EL, ELOAH [el, el-oh-ah]: GOD/ MIGHTY GOD - God "Mighty, Strong, Prominent" (Nehemiah 9:17; Psalm 139:19) – etymologically, El appears to mean “power” and “might” (Genesis 31:29). El is associated with other qualities, such as integrity (Numbers 23:19), jealousy (Deuteronomy 5:9), and compassion (Nehemiah 9:31), but the root idea of “might” remains. ELOHIM [el-oh-heem]: GOD/ GOD THE CREATOR/ THE MIGHTY CREATOR GOD - God “Creator, Mighty and Strong” (Genesis 17:7; Jeremiah 31:33) – the Proper Name Form of Eloah . From the Bible’s first sentence, the superlative nature of God’s Power is evident as God (Elohim) speaks the world into existence (Genesis 1:1). EL SHADDAI [el-shah-dahy]: GOD ALMIGHTY - “God Almighty,” “The Mighty One of Jacob” (Genesis 49:24; Psalm 132:2,5) – speaks to God’s Ultimate Power Over All. ADONAI [ˌædɒˈnaɪ; ah-daw-nahy]: GOD - “God, LORD, YHWH” (Genesis 15:2; Judges 6:15) – used in place of YHWH, which was thought by the Jews to be too sacred to be uttered by sinful men. In the Old Testament, YHWH is more often used in God’s dealings with His people, while Adonai is used more when He deals with the Gentiles. YHWH / YAHWEH / [yah-way ]: I AM - “I Am - God, LORD” (Deuteronomy 6:4; Daniel 9:14) – strictly speaking, the only proper name for God. Translated in English Bibles “LORD” (all capitals) to distinguish it from Adonai, “Lord.” The revelation of the name is given to Moses “I Am Who I Am” (Exodus 3:14). This name specifies an immediacy, a presence. Yahweh Is Present, Accessible, Near To Those Who Call On Him for deliverance (Psalm 107:13), forgiveness (Psalm 25:11) and guidance (Psalm 31:3). YAHWEH-JIREH [yah-way-ji-reh]: YAHWEH WILL PROVIDE/ GOD WILL PROVIDE - “(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God Will Provide" (Genesis 22:14) – the name memorialized by Abraham when God Provided the ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac. YAHWEH-RAPHA [yah-way-raw-faw]: YAHWEH WHO HEALS/ GOD WHO HEALS - "(The Lord YHWH) I Am - God Who Heals" (Exodus 15:26) – “I Am Yahweh Who Heals You” both in body and soul. In body, by preserving from and curing diseases, and in soul, by pardoning iniquities. YAHWEH-NISSI [yah-way-nee-see]: YAHWEH MY BANNER/ GOD IS MY (OUR) BANNER - "(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God Our Banner" (Exodus 17:15), where banner is understood to be a rallying place. This name commemorates the desert victory over the Amalekites in Exodus 17. YAHWEH-M'KADDESH [yah-way-meh-kad-esh]: YAHWEH WHO SANCTIFIES/GOD WHO SANCTIFIES/MAKES HOLY - “(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God Who Sanctifies, Makes Holy" (Leviticus 20:8; Ezekiel 37:28) – God Makes It Clear That He Alone, not anything else, Can Cleanse His People And Make Them Holy. YAHWEH-SHALOM [yah-way-shah-lohm]: YAHWEH OUR PEACE/GOD OUR PEACE - "(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God Our Peace" (Judges 6:24) – the name given by Gideon to the altar he built after the Angel of the Lord assured him he would not die as he thought he would after seeing Him. YAHWEH-ELOHIM [yah-way-el-oh-him]: YAHWEH GOD/ I AM THE MIGHTY CREATOR GOD/ I AM GOD - "(LORD, YHWH) I Am - God" (Genesis 2:4; Psalm 59:5) – a combination of God’s Unique Name YHWH and “God,” signifying that He is the Lord of Lords and The Only God. YAHWEH-TSIDKENU [yah-way-tzid-kay-noo]: YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS/ GOD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS - "(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God Our Righteousness” (Jeremiah 33:16) – As with YHWH-M’Kaddesh, it is God Alone Who Provides Righteousness To Man, Ultimately In The Person of His Son, Jesus Christ, Who Became Sin For us “that we might become the Righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). YAHWEH-ROHI [yah-way-roh-hee]:YAHWEH OUR SHEPHERD/ GOD OUR SHEPHERD - "(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God Our Shepherd" (Psalm 23:1) – After David pondered his relationship as a shepherd to his sheep, he realized that was exactly the relationship God had with him, and so he declares, “Yahweh-Rohi is my Shepherd. I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). YAHWEH-SHAMMAH [yah-way-sham-mahw]: YAHWEH IS THERE/ GOD IS THERE - "(The Lord, YHWH) I Am -God Is There” (Ezekiel 48:35) – the name ascribed to Jerusalem and the Temple there, indicating that the once-departed glory of God Almighty (Ezekiel 8—11) had returned (Ezekiel 44:1-4). YAHWEH-SABAOTH [yah-way-sah-bah-ohth]: YAHWEH OF HOSTS/ GOD OF HOSTS - "(The Lord, YHWH) I Am - God of Hosts" (Isaiah 1:24; Psalm 46:7) – Hosts means “hordes,” both of angels and of men. He is God of the host of heaven and of the inhabitants of the earth, of Jews and Gentiles, of rich and poor, master and slave. The name is expressive of the majesty, power, and authority of God and shows that He is able to accomplish what He determines to do. EL ELYON [el-el-yohn]: THE MOST HIGH GOD - “Most High God" (Deuteronomy 26:19) – derived from the Hebrew root for “go up” or “ascend,” so the implication is of that which is the very highest. El Elyon denotes exaltation and speaks of absolute right to lordship. EL ROI [el-roh-ee]: THE GOD WHO SEES/ THE GOD WHO SEES ME/ GOD OF SEEING - “God of Seeing" (Genesis 16:13) – the name ascribed to God by Hagar, alone and desperate in the wilderness after being driven out by Sarah (Genesis 16:1-14). When Hagar met the Angel of The Lord, she realized she had seen God Himself in a theophany. She also realized that El Roi saw her in her distress and testified that He Is The God Who Lives And Sees All. EL-OLAM [el-oh-lahm]: EVERLASTING GOD "Everlasting God" (Psalm 90:1-3) – God’s Nature Is Without Beginning Or End, Free From All Constraints of Time, and He Contains Within Himself The Very Cause of Time Itself. “From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” EL-GIBHOR [el-ghee-bohr]: MIGHTY GOD/ THE GOD OF MIGHT/ THE MIGHTY GOD “Mighty God” (Isaiah 9:6) – the name describing The Messiah, Christ Jesus, in this prophetic portion of Isaiah. As A Powerful and Mighty Warrior, The Messiah, The Mighty God, Will Accomplish The Destruction of God’s enemies and Rule With A Rod Of Iron (Revelation 19:15).

Good Morning Wednesday... Abba, Father, thank You for THIS NEW DAY. Guide us with Your Spirit as WE ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK at Your Door. We know the only true power is in Your Hands, so we ask You to endow us WITH YOUR SPIRIT, The Spirit of Yeshua (Salvation), so we may follow Your Instruction TO HONOR ALL PEOPLE, LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD, FEAR YOU, AND HONOR OUR KING JESUS. HELP US TO LOVE OTHERS, REBUKE SIN, AND SHINE YOUR LIGHT today. WE ASK this IN THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES, YESHUA HA’MASHIACH, JESUS CHRIST. Amen. - A Simple Three Verses To Start The Day Off Right: Fire 🔥, Praise 🙌, Honor 👑, and Glory. 1.) “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,” I Peter 1:3-7 2.) “The Angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and He rescues them. Taste and see that Yahweh is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.” Psalms 34:7-8 3.) “Now to The King Of The Ages, immortal, invisible, to The Only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
1 Timothy 1:17 Good Morning Tuesday.......
Father thank You for this NEW day! Help us to be like The Bereans and “search The Scriptures.” Help us to see YOU. Help us be WITH You. Help us to experience the Love of Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Bless You Abba. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name, AMEN! A Big Thank You to Martin G. Collins and berean.org for today’s devotion. “Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.” Acts 17:11 - A Berean Study: This Present Evil Age (Galatians 1:4) “who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to The Will of Our God and Father” Galatians 1:4 NKJV Many professing Christians view everything from the perspective of this world, blindly assuming it is God's world. They see certain forces of evil in it, which they feel they must oppose. In this vein, they see the Christian duty as working to make this a better world. However, this concept does not square with Scripture. The Bible speaks of Christ “deliver[ing] us from this present evil age” (Galatians 1:4). Human society is not of God's making, but Satan's, as are its systems of government, basic philosophies, and business and religious practices. All nations are deceived, swayed, manipulated by the Devil (Revelation 12:9; 20:2-3). In other words, our civilization is Satan's handiwork, not God's. God's Word tells us to flee from the midst of Babylonian society (Isaiah 52:11; II Corinthians 6:17; Revelation 18:4). Speaking to the Jews, Jesus says, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world” (John 8:23). Later, when questioned by Pilate about His Kingdom, “Jesus answered, 'My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here'” (John 18:36). Although Jesus lived in this world, He clearly saw Himself as a “citizen” of God's heavenly Kingdom. The same holds true of those who follow Him (Philippians 3:20). — Martin G. Collins May Our Father In Heaven Bless each and every one of you, and your families, on the other side of this screen. Have a most blessed day! Good Morning Monday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. Please impart in our hearts YOUR WILL. We ask for Patience, Kindness, Humility, and Truth so we may show You and Your Son's Light in this fallen world. In Yeshua, JESUS CHRIST's, Name we pray. Amen. - Today: There Is No Day Like This Day. Let us take hold of Yeshua’s, Jesus Christ's, Hand and take advantage of our Freedom today. Let us enter into the world and see it as a bountiful collection of Harvest Fields. Our Savior Said To His Disciples And Us: “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37 NKJV So let us go into those fields of Harvest and reach out to the lost, the sick, the hurting, the fatherless, and the widows. What about the person at work that no one seems to like and has become an outcast? What about the homeless man you pass each day? What about the elderly woman at church that just had surgery? What about our friend we haven't spoken with since our conversion? What about the small child who "bothers" us each time we see him or her? What about our family? It may not seem like a reality that we can imagine, but think about this: What if one day it becomes forbidden or illegal even to tell others of The Good News (Gospel) or to preach that Good News in public settings. I have no doubt we would all look back to our lives, when we could freely speak The Truth to all without persecution, and have a little regret. What would go through our minds? Would it look something like this: "Why wasn't I wise? Why didn't I gather in the summer? Why wasn't I prepared as Christ told me to be?" It is hard to fathom the shame I would personally feel if I closed my eyes, ignored those in need, and just rested while sinners were digging their graves. They don't even realize it! While so often it may be tough, frustrating, and full of long-suffering... we must use the time we have today. While it is not our judgement that brings a person to heaven or hell, we can make a difference, and we can help to save many from extra heartache and tribulations by proclaiming The Truth... His Truth. Remember, it is the small things we do that can have a very large impact. James states: “See how great a forest a little fire kindles!” James 3:5 NKJV And Our Savior Says: "I came to cast fire upon the earth. How I wish that it was already ablaze!” Luke 12:49 CEB The Word of God tells us to win souls. The Word says if we do this we will be counted wise. Let's take a look: “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. If the righteous will be recompensed on the earth, How much more the ungodly and the sinner.” Proverbs 11:30-31 NKJV May we all search our souls today and ask: How can we help win souls? How can we help reach the lost? How can we be obedient to The Great Commission and make it a priority in our lives? And finally, How can we do this today? “He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.” Proverbs 10:5 NKJV Prayer: Dear Abba (Father) Yah, please help us to take advantage of Your Mercy, Grace, and the knowledge of Your Truth today. Help us live today so that we will not, one day, have regrets. Help show us a way, The Way, Your Way, in which we can reach others. Father please lead us to those who You Want To Hear About Your Truth, Your Love, Your Mercy, Your Grace, Your Glory, Your Conquest, and Your Reign. We Love You. We Thank You. We Praise Your Holy Name. We ask these things in Your Son, Our Risen and Living Savior, Yeshua’s, Jesus Christ's, Name. Amen. Good Morning Sunday...
Dear Father, thank You for this NEW day. Guide us as we make this day's JOURNEY. Lift us as we fall. Show us Your LOVE, and HELP us to show Your Love to others. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we PRAY. Amen. Good morning everyone. Today being the third day since our “lockdown orders” have been lifted, I thought this devotion was fitting. Currently we have many who are scared, uncertain, and hurting from these highly overblown reactions to an “invisible enemy” that our “scientists” still know very little about. While we are now “free to move about,” there are many in our country who are still on lockdown, and some of those places are actually having their lockdowns extended. Is this necessary? The evidence says no, but we know man is “fallen” and power seduces many who have fallen into the snare of the enemy. As believers, we must be prepared to face much worse things to come, for God’s Word says these things must take place. As we move closer to The Coming of The King, we can take heart knowing Our Father is working out an amazing plan. Being that we are in “The Third Day,” prophetic speaking, there are a couple of things we can take heart in: 1.) Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, is on His Way: “And DO THIS, KNOWING THE TIME, that now IT IS HIGH TIME TO AWAKE OUT OF SLEEP; FOR OUR SALVATION (Yeshua) IS NEARER THAN WHEN WE FIRST BELIEVED. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore LET US CAST OFF THE WORKS OF DARKNESS, and LET US PUT ON THE ARMOR OF LIGHT. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and MAKE NO PROVISION FOR THE FLESH, to fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:11-14 and 2.) He Is going to change things very quickly when He comes: “Behold (Shema), I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— IN A MOMENT, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” I Corinthians 15:51-52 MAY WE ALL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND BE STRONG IN CHRIST. MAY WE ALL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE WIDOWS, THE ORPHANS, THE SICK, THE HURTING, AND THE CHILDREN WHOM ARE BEING TRAUMATIZED THROUGH THESE STRANGE TIMES WE LIVE IN. FINALLY, MAY WE ALL TAKE HEART KNOWING ALL THINGS ARE IN OUR FATHER’S HANDS AND THAT “ALL THINGS WORK FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” Have a great week my Brothers and Sisters, and remember... WE WERE BORN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! 🔥🙌👑 Now, today’s devotion: - Shema (Behold/Listen/Hear)!: A Lot Can Happen In 3 Days When we look in Scripture it is easy to see that a lot can happen in 3 days. Obviously Our Savior and His 3 days in the grave, which He spectacularly conquered, is what our minds picture when we think about change happening in 3 days, but there are many more. Let's take at a look a few more 3 day events in The Scripture and see where it leads us: After Only 3 Days of Journey From Mount Sinai Some Israelites Began To Complain: “So they departed from the mountain of The LORD (Yahweh) on a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of The LORD (Yahweh) went before them for the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them. And the cloud of The LORD (Yahweh) was above them by day when they went out from the camp. So it was, whenever the ark set out, that Moses said: “Rise up, O LORD (Yahweh)! Let Your enemies be scattered, And let those who hate You flee before You.” And when it rested, he said: “Return, O LORD (Yahweh), To the many thousands of Israel.” “Now when the people complained, it displeased The LORD (Yahweh); for The LORD (Yahweh) heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of The LORD (Yahweh) burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp.” Numbers 10:33-11:1 NKJV Wow. Our Father brings His people out of Egypt, performs AMAZING Signs and Wonders to save them, marries them at Sinai (wowing them the whole time), and now 3 days later they begin to complain. We think that is crazy, right? I used to think that very same thing. A hard look in the mirror and pondering on this led me somewhere else. It was like a riddle that I was determined to solve. Why did they act this way? Speaking of riddles, let's take a look at the 3 days when the Philistine King couldn't figure out Samson's riddle: “But if you cannot explain it to me, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.” And they said to him, “Pose your riddle, that we may hear it.” So he said to them: “Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” Now for three days they could not explain the riddle.” Judges 14:13-14 NKJV Although he cheated to get the answer, the Philistine King did eventually get the answer. After 3 days of pondering the complaining Israelites during their 3 day journey, I came to an answer as well. It was startling. I was just like them! I came to the conclusion, upon serious self-evaluation, that I too was like them. Now maybe my complaints were a little different, but they were complaints nonetheless. I couldn't believe it. I had been calling the Israelites crazy for complaining for years and now I was beginning to see that my actions and words were no different. This was humbling to say the least. God's Word tells us that: “God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of humankind, that He should change His Mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? And has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?” Numbers 23:19 LEB Thank God for that! He has told us that He Will Save Us and we have faith He Will. He doesn't break promises, and He doesn't change His Mind once He Has Spoken It. We could really spend a lot of time explaining how myself, and pretty much all of us, aren't so different from those Israelites in the desert, but that's not the point today. The point is that 3 days of pondering, Bible Study, and prayer can accomplish much. A lot can happen in 3 days. A complete transformation can occur, giants can be slain, mountains can move, and nations can be born. First we complain, then we are riddled, ponder, next we are humbled (and hopefully repent 🎯), but what next? Well, in God's Awesome Power to make very cool and transforming things happen in three days... Let's take a look at Joshua (A picture of Yeshua, Jesus Christ🔥) in The Word and see what he did in 3 days: Joshua Leading Israel to The Promise Land: “Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which The LORD (Yahweh) your God is giving you to possess.’ ”“Remember the word which Moses the servant of The LORD (Yahweh) commanded you, saying, ‘The LORD (Yahweh) your God is giving you rest and is giving you this land.’” Joshua 1:10-11, 13 There you have it. 3 days to prepare and then we take the land ladies and gentlemen! First we complain about "the crazy Israelites," then we realize we are more like them than we thought and we are humbled. This is when we meet Jesus... when we are humble. This is where God begins preparations inside of us to take the land! AKA Heaven AKA The New Earth AKA New Jerusalem. This is when we find the path to freedom, peace, and the new life that God has promised us. Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is Our Savior and He has told us to prepare... For in 3 days He Will Return. He did it a literal 3 days, and He is also going to do it in a prophetic 3 days. Brothers and Sister, we are now in that 3rd Prophetic Day! “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with The LORD one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” II Peter 3:8 NKJV Think about how many times the Israelites complained, then were riddled with problems, God humbled them, and then they repented. It happened over and over and over, and the journey really isn't so different for us today. The major advantage we have today? We can learn from the Israelites mistakes in God's Word and try to do better. I firmly believe all the stories in The Bible are put there for us to be stronger, to grow, and to try with all our heart, strength, and mind to do better... because Our Father Wrote These Events To Help Us. God's Word Is A Light for all of us to see our failures and shortcomings and then be able to Accept That Word, which is Jesus Christ, and be led back to Him. That is when, like Joshua, Yeshua begins leading us back to The Promised Land. Our Promised Land is going to be much better though, for the picture we get in the book of Joshua is but a shadow of things to come. Exciting isn't it?! So, the next time you are in a "bad spot," having a rough time, frustrated with life, or just plain wiped out. Take 3 days. Do some Bible Study, meditate on God's Word, say some prayers, be still, patient, and wait on Our Father. I think He has made it abundantly clear...Shema (Behold)!, A Lot Can Happen In 3 Days!!! 😃🙌🔥 Good Morning Sabbath...
Father thank You for this NEW day! Help us to see YOU. Help us be WITH You. Help us to experience the Love of Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Bless You Abba. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name, Amen. - Speak On It Brother Paul! Paul was a mighty man for God. The day he met Yeshua, Jesus Christ, was the day his life changed forever. Really, this is all our story, right? We meet Jesus... and things are never the same. He changes, transforms, loves, and guides us in this crazy place. I am completely convinced that without Jesus,...I would definitely be in the nut house because of this backwards world. He keeps us level, pulls us back when we are about to walk off a cliff, picks us up when we have fallen, and loves us even when we have been completely mindless. Well, Paul realized this, and all at once when Yeshua paid him a visit. Can you imagine how powerful that visit was? Paul went on to spend the rest of his earthly life, after meeting Jesus, preaching, teaching, ministering, and building up The Kingdom Of God for Yeshua, whom Paul calls His Lord and Savior. He suffered, faced death on many occasions, was put in prison, and was proclaiming The Good News unto death. I think we have to conclude... it was a very powerful visit. Today let us take a read of Paul's Letter to "The Church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia." As we read through II Corinthians 1 let us glean from one of the most educated, well read, well written, and most humbled persons in The Bible (Proverbs 29:23, Matt 23:12, Luke 14:11, 1 Peter 5:5). Not only can we learn much from Our Savior's Mighty Man, but also if we look close enough... we just may see some of our journey in what he is relaying. In the Body of Christ we are all connected. We share in each others triumphs, persecutions, and suffering. May we all share today with Our Brother In Christ Paul, in these invaluable teachings, experiences, and words of wisdom. Without further ado... Speak On It Brother Paul!: “Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation. For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many. For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you. For we are not writing any other things to you than what you read or understand. Now I trust you will understand, even to the end (as also you have understood us in part), that we are your boast as you also are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus. And in this confidence I intended to come to you before, that you might have a second benefit— to pass by way of you to Macedonia, to come again from Macedonia to you, and be helped by you on my way to Judea. Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No? But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. Moreover I call God as witness against my soul, that to spare you I came no more to Corinth. Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers for your joy; for by faith you stand.” II Corinthians 1:1-24 Shabbat Shalom and Happy Sabbath Brothers and Sisters! May your rest be plentiful, established in Christ, anointed by Our Father, and sealed with His Holy Spirit in your hearts as your guarantee. Sincerely and with all Love, your fellow worker of joy, standing in faith, your Brother, Servant of Yeshua 7. Good Morning Friday...
FATHER thank You for this NEW DAY. We ask that you cover us with YOUR MIGHTY HAND. Let us understand YOUR MIGHTY WILL so that we may see YOUR INFINITE GLORY. We ask this in YOUR PERFECT SON YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST's NAME. Amen. - He Is... (Part 12) Our Father Is God. He Wants Us To Know Who He Is. He Shows His Character, Wisdom, Omnipotence, Power, Mercy, Justice, Omniscience, and Glory All Through His Word... Just For Us. His Greatest Gift...He Sent His Son So We Could Get To Know Him Better. He Let Him Be Sacrificed So We Would Know How Much He Loves Us. He Is A King. He Is The Creator. He Is Our Reason For Being. Today, let's go through The Bible and see just who He Says He Is. When He Tells Us Who He Is we can grow, understand Him more clearly, draw closer, and try to imitate Him and His Perfect Character better. As we go through in Scripture searching out His Character and Names, I encourage you to let Him Speak to you. Listen to The God of All Creation, Our Heavenly Father, talk to you and tell you exactly what He Wants To Do For you. Let's jump right in and listen to Him Tell Us Who...HE IS. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that HE IS, and that HE IS a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 Our Father's Nature Never Changes. HE IS, WAS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE. He Is Who He Is. That's what He Told Moses. I Am Who I Am. That's what His Name means, YAHWEH, I Am Who I Am. His Name Means...HE IS! He Has Come! He Is... Yeshua, Jesus, Salvation He Is... Yahweh Tsidkenu (Yahweh Our Righteousness, The LORD Our Righteousness); “In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell in safety, and this is His Name by which He will be called: ‘YAHWEH IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.’ “Therefore look, days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when they will no longer say, ‘As Yahweh lives, Who led up the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’ but ‘As Yahweh lives, Who led up, and Who brought the offspring of the house of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ Then they will live in their land.” Jeremiah 23:6-8 LEB “In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Jeremiah 23:6 NKJV He Is... David Their King; “But they shall serve The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) their God, and DAVID THEIR KING, whom I will raise up unto them.” Jeremiah 30:9 KJV “And it will happen on that day,’ declares Yahweh of hosts, ‘I will break his yoke from your neck and your bonds I will tear to pieces. And strangers will no longer let him work as a slave. But they will serve Yahweh their God, and DAVID THEIR KING, whom I will raise up for them. But you must not fear, my servant Jacob,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and you must not be dismayed, Israel, for look, I am going to save you from far, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return, and he will be at rest, and he will be at ease, and there will be no one who makes him afraid. For I am with you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘to save you. For I will make a complete destruction of all the nations to which I scattered you, but you I will not make a complete destruction. And I will chastise you to the measure, and I will not leave you entirely unpunished.’” Jeremiah 30:8-11 LEB He Is... My Resting Place; “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray; They have turned them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill; They have forgotten THEIR RESTING PLACE.” Jeremiah 50:6 NKJV He Is... My Feeder; “therefore I shall save My flock, and let them no longer be a prey. And I shall judge between sheep and sheep. “And I shall raise up over them ONE SHEPHERD, MY SERVANT DAVID, and HE SHALL FEED THEM. He shall feed them and be their Shepherd.” Yehezqĕl (Ezekiel) 34:22-23 TS2009 He Is... The Plant of Renown; “And I will raise up for them A PLANT OF RENOWN, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. Thus shall they know that I The Lord (Yahweh) their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith The Lord (Yahweh) God.” Ezekiel 34:29-30 KJV He Is... Yahweh Shamah (Yahweh Is There, The LORD Is There); “The perimeter of [the city] will be just under six [miles] long. And from that day on the name of the city will be ADONAI SHAMAH [ ADONAI IS THERE].” Yechezk'el (Ezk) 48:35 CJB “All around the city is eighteen thousand cubits, and the name of the city from that day is “YAHWEH IS THERE”!” Ezekiel 48:35 LEB Good Morning Thursday...
Dear Father, thank You for this NEW day. Guide us as we make this day's JOURNEY. Lift us as we fall. Show us Your LOVE, and HELP us to show Your Love to others. In Yeshua's, Jesus Christ's, Name we PRAY. Amen. A big thank you to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today's devotion. Have a wonderful day everyone and may the peace and Love of Our Father In Heaven and Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, be with you all. - Revelation 3:15-20: A Berean Study (15) "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. (16) So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. (17) Because you say, "I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing"—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— (18) I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. (19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. (20) Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:15-20 We are, to a great measure, victims of an age that is certainly not apathetic to seeking its own pleasure but is apathetic about having a true relationship with God. Would anybody in all honesty not care to eat or to have fellowship with Jesus Christ? Yet, verse 20 says He is standing at the door and knocking, and He will come in and dine with them if they just open the door. Many would like to eat and fellowship with Christ just to say that they had that novel experience. But the irony here is that God is seeking His people, and they are too uncaring to even rouse themselves to answer the door! The message to this church shows that the problem is that they are so far from Him they are not even aware of their spiritual need and thus have no desire to be near Him. No desire, no prayer. No prayer, no relationship. No relationship, no awareness of spiritual need. It goes in a vicious cycle. God is hoping that He can stir us up enough to repent and to break out of the cycle. He says, "Repent. Be zealous." Zeal indicates heat, passion, and feeling. He is hoping to break us out of this circle by rekindling an awareness of our spiritual need. An awareness of need resides in us because we are close enough to Him to see how holy, gracious, kind, merciful, and good He is and desire to be like Him. In other words, we admire Him so much and respect His personality and character so much that we want to be near Him—right across the table from Him, as it were. We do not want to be near Him just to have a novel experience but to exalt Him and honor Him by being like Him. Is not imitation the most sincere form of praise? Good Morning Wednesday...
Father Thank You for another BLESSED DAY. Thank You for Your ETERNAL PROMISES. Thank You for giving us so many reasons to REJOICE IN the HOPE that is Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Praise You and Bless You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ Name. Amen! - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Malachi) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible to find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word🔥. Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what? Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God (Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Malachi, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Malachi, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, and Love for Your Children. And we thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Malachi The Prophet of God: “Your eyes shall see, And you shall say, ‘The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’” Malachi 1:5 NKJV “Your eyes will see this, and you will say, “Yahweh is great beyond the borders of Israel.”” Malachi 1:5 LEB “A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I Am The Father, Where is My honor? And if I Am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts To you priests who despise My Name. Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your Name?’ “You offer defiled food on My altar, But say, ‘In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying, ‘The table of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is contemptible.’ And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice, Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you favorably?” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts.” Malachi 1:6-8 NKJV “A son honors his father, and a slave his master; but if I am a father, where is my honor, and if I am a master, where is my reverence?” says Yahweh of hosts to you, O priests, who despise my name. “But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’ You are presenting defiled food on my altar! But you ask, ‘How have we defiled you?’ By saying that the table of Yahweh is despised! When you offer a blind animal for sacrifice, is that not wrong? And when you offer the lame and the one who is ill, is that not wrong? Present it, please, to your governor! Will he be pleased with you? Will he show you favor?” says Yahweh of hosts.” Malachi 1:6-8 LEB “But cursed be the deceiver Who has in his flock a male, And takes a vow, But sacrifices to The Lord what is blemished— For I Am a great King,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts, “And My name is to be feared among the nations.” Malachi 1:14 NKJV “Cursed is the one who cheats, who has in his flock a male and vows it, but instead sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord! For I am a great king,” says Yahweh of hosts, “and My Name is awesome among the nations.” Malachi 1:14 LEB “For The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) God of Israel says That He hates divorce, For it covers one’s garment with violence,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts. “Therefore take heed to your spirit, That you do not deal treacherously.” You have wearied The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) with your words; Yet you say, “In what way have we wearied Him? ” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil Is good in the sight of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), And He delights in them,” Or, “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:16-17 NKJV “For I hate divorce,” says Yahweh, the God of Israel, “and he who covers his clothing with violence,” says Yahweh of hosts. “You must be attentive to your spirit and you must not be unfaithful.” You have wearied Yahweh with your words, but you ask, “With what have we wearied Him?” You have done so when you say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of Yahweh, and in them He delights,” or “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:16-17 LEB “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh), whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts.” Malachi 3:1 NKJV “Look! I am going to send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) whom you are seeking will come suddenly to His temple, and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you are taking pleasure—look!—He is about to come,” says Yahweh of hosts.” Malachi 3:1 LEB “For I, Yahweh, have not changed, and you, O children of Jacob, have not perished.” Malachi 3:6 LEB “For I am The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” Malachi 3:6 NKJV “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says The LORD (YHWH , Yahweh) of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.” Malachi 3:10 NKJV “Bring the whole tithe to the storehouse, so that there will be food in my house, and test me please in this,” says Yahweh of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour forth for you an overflowing blessing.” Malachi 3:10 LEB “Then those who feared The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) spoke to one another, And The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) And who meditate on His Name. “They shall be Mine,” says The LORD (YHWH , Yahweh) of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.” Malachi 3:16-18 NKJV “Then those who revered Yahweh spoke with one another. And Yahweh listened attentively and heard, and a scroll of remembrance was written before him of those who revere Yahweh and ponder his name. “They will be mine,” says Yahweh of hosts, “on the day that I am acting, my treasured possession. I will have compassion on them as a man has compassion on his son who serves him. You will return and see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve him.” Malachi 3:16-18 LEB “For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up,” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts, “That will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this, ” Says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of hosts. “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh). And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:1-6 NKJV “For look! The day is about to come, burning like an oven, and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble. The coming day will consume them,” says Yahweh of hosts. “It will not leave behind for them root or branch. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise, with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like fattened calves. You will trample down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I am going to act,” says Yahweh of hosts. “Remember the instruction of my servant Moses, which I commanded him at Horeb to all Israel, the rules and regulations. Look! I am going to send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yahweh! And he will bring back the hearts of the fathers to the sons, and the hearts of the sons to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the land with a ban.” Malachi 4:1-6 LEB Good Morning Tuesday...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Help us to be Your LIGHTs in this dark world. Help us to show the kindness, compassion, mercy, and LOVE that You Have Show Us Through Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. We ask this in His Name, The Name Above All Names, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior. Amen! - Connecting The Jots - God’s Beloved Is Revealed! Part 13 This devotion is dedicated to The One And Only Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The King. Bless Our Father For His Infinite Wisdom Which Is Manifest In Our Savior. He Is The One Who Connects All The Jots...Period. I heard a saying the other day that just amazed me. It was so simple, profound, and "on the mark" that it was absolutely seared into my mind from the time I heard it. It goes something like this: The New Testament Is In The Old Testament Concealed; The Old Testament Is In The New Testament Revealed. What a profound, "spot on" statement made with an amazing, short, succinct sentence! Today, let’s put this “pearl of wisdom” to the test and see how Our Father and Savior...Connect The Jots. Parallel Verses From The Old Concealed and The New Revealed (Matthew): 49.) “Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love The LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV “Hear, O Israel: The LORD (Yahweh) our God, The LORD (Yahweh) is one! You shall love The LORD (Yahweh) your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NKJV “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I Am The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh).” Leviticus 19:18 NKJV 50.) “The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet?” Matthew 22:44 LEB “A declaration of Yahweh to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” Yahweh will send out your mighty scepter from Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies.” Psalms 110:1-2 LEB 51.) “Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.” Matthew 23:34-36 KJV “And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?” Genesis 4:8-9 KJV “And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh). Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh) look upon it, and require it.” 2 Chronicles 24:21-22 KJV 52.) “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate.” Matthew 23:37-38 NIV “May their place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in their tents. For they persecute those you wound and talk about the pain of those you hurt.” Psalms 69:25-26 NIV “I will forsake My house, abandon My inheritance; I will give the one I love into the hands of her enemies.” Jeremiah 12:7 NIV “But if you do not obey these commands, declares The Lord (YHWH, Yahweh), I swear by Myself that this palace will become a ruin.” Jeremiah 22:5 NIV Our Father Is AMAZING. Bless Him, Praise Him, and Let Him Connect The Jots For You! “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” Jesus said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Matthew 13:45-51 |
