Good Morning Wednesday of The Feast of Unleavened Bread... (Counting of The Omer Day 3)
Father thank You for this new day. We ask for Your Shalom (Divine Peace/Completeness/Wholeness). May we abide in You. Please Father, give us this day Our Daily Bread. As we look at The Words of Your Son, please give us wisdom. We ask this so we may show Your Glory. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
Shalom is a Hebrew Word that can be used as a greeting or to say goodbye. Shalom can be defined as : completeness, wholeness, or Divine Peace. I really like Divine Peace as the definition. Why Divine Peace you ask? Probably because this is the Peace that Jesus spoke to us. I can hear Yeshua now in His famous words in John 14:27: "Shalom (Divine Peace) I leave with you, My Shalom I give you." We know Yeshua had to possess Divine Peace to deal with not only us, but also to go through what he did for us. We click on the news today and we are accosted with stories of war, unrest, weapons of mass destruction, political turmoil, riots, and every other miserable thing this world wants to push on us. It seems that there is no Shalom, especially in the area of the Middle East, where we see constant unrest. The irony of that is, this is where Our Savior actually spoke about giving "His Peace." While Jesus did tell us these things were coming, wars, rumors of wars, ect, (Matt 24) it seems crazy that this is where the word "Shalom" is spoken more than anywhere in the world, Israel. If we take a look in John 12 we find Yeshua speaking with His Disciples. He tells them He is leaving, but that He Will Send Help. Jesus let us know, He Will Not Leave Us Alone. Who will He Send To Help? The Holy Spirit of course. Isn't it just awesome how Jesus "keeps it real," shows us the True Reality of this world, but doesn't leave us without hope. Our Savior warns His Disciples, and us, of all the coming unrest we will face when He leaves, but He also explains to us that The Holy Spirit will be given as a Helper, Comforter, and Teacher of Truth. When a person is approaching their time to leave this world they usually make a will. A document that puts things in place for the loved ones that will still be here on this earth. The will usually explains what the person leaves, to whom it will be given, and states their "will" about what they want carried out after death. We can clearly see Our Savior setting Himself apart from the world and showing Himself Holy In His Will. The King doesn't will to His Disciples, or us, "things" such as jewels, houses, or money, but instead He Gives Us the one thing the world can't... He gives us Shalom. In order to have any kind of quality of life in this world we need peace. Money, possessions, expensive vacations, cars, more friends, and the such cannot bring us this peace, as I am sure we have all found out. In fact, most of these "things" only bring more headaches. That is why Jesus Gives Us His Shalom, His Divine Peace. It is His To Give and He Gives It Freely and Abundantly. The "Divine" in that Divine Peace is Him. Only He Can Give It and that's why He Holds The Title... Prince of Peace🔥. He Give Us This Divine Peace because He knows we have to live in a chaotic and fallen world on our way to be with Him again. Yeshua, Christ Our King, in His Infinite Wisdom and Good, gave us what we need most in this world. He didn't give "things", but rather He Gives His Disciples and Us the One Thing He Knows We Need The Most... His Divine Peace. The same Peace that He showed, lived with, and operated in while He Walked The Face of This Earth. The world is desperately searching for peace, but the world will not find it unless it turns to Him. As believers, by way of His Will, we have been given rights to this peace..."the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7.)" May we all claim this Divine Peace, this Shalom, today, and help spread it to others in this world, especially those desperately seeking it. Jesus had an infinite amount of good things he could have left us, but to His Disciples, to us, and to anyone willing to Follow Him, He didn't give jewels, possessions, or anything we have to worry about, He Gives Us the opposite, something far better... His Shalom... His Peace! Prayer: Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King, Thank You for Your Wisdom. Thank You for Your Goodness. Thank You For Giving Us The One Thing You Knew We Would Need More Than Anything In This World, Your Shalom. We Thank You For Your Divine Peace and we ask You to help us show it to others in this fallen world. Thank You For Your Peace, Your Way, Your Life, and Your Truth. Bless Your Holy Name. Please help us to cleanse ourselves, take possession of our inheritance that You Have Willed us, remove the leaven (sin) from our lives, and Shine Your Light Throughout The Entire World. In Your Most Holy Name We Pray. Amen.

Good Morning Tuesday of The Festival of Unleavened Bread!
Father thank you for this NEW day, as you walk with us today keep us focused on Your TRUTH. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS with Your PEACE, so there's no room for fear or doubt! In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name we pray. Amen! Happy Tuesday and The fifth day of The Feast of Unleavened Bread everybody. Passover started Friday evening and that was the beginning of The Festival Unleavened Bread. With all the wonderful things happening during Passover, it had me thinking... “What did Our Father and Savior really do for us 2000 years ago on The Passover Day?” Well, obviously, He became The Passover Lamb, He was sacrificed for us, and He made sure that we were forgiven from the transgressions that would have, without a doubt, kept us out of His Kingdom. Praise God Almighty for making The Way! For forgiving our sins! For treating us like not only His children, but His friends! What unimaginable Kindness, Mercy, and Compassion He has for us! With all this in mind, it led me from praise and humility to a place of deep reverence. It really is almost unimaginable, if not for Our Father’s Spirit, the magnitude of what He has done for us. Today as we prepare to celebrate the last few days of Unleavened Bread, just as we removed the leaven from our homes (remove sinful ways from our life), with gratitude in our hearts, let us all be humbled as we think about the magnitude of what we have been forgiven for. If any of us is having a tough time with this, there is one thing you can meditate on to come to a place of sincere and honest reverence for Our King and Savior. Just say to yourself: “Hey... Think About What You Have Been Forgiven For” May God Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen. May your final days of this festival be full of thanksgiving, kindness, and excitement for the revelation He gives us when we obey and seek Him. Finally, may we remember the Passover meal we partook in, just as Our Father’s Word commands, which is the ultimate family meal together with Our Savior, and may we strive to see any leaven (sin) in our lives that we may have missed… and then remove it (repent). May these last few days of Our Father’s Appointed Time (Moed) be days that we are mindful, reverent, humble, and maybe most importantly… forgiving of others transgressions. May we all be reassured and comforted as we celebrate, that Our Father, The Almighty Creator of All Things, has made The Way for us all to come to Him through His Greatest Masterpiece Ever... Our Unleavened (Sinless) and Perfect Savior, The Passover Lamb Who Forgives The Sins of The Whole World. HalleluYah! - Being Mindful: Hey! Think About What You Have Been Forgiven For We all have to accept the fact that we will be hurt in this life. Unfortunately, there will be many times where we will all be hurt, and many times intentionally, by what others say or do to us. Think about it: when we think or hear the word forgiveness, we can all probably immediately think about certain heartaches and pain that has been caused by someone. We think of these things because they are fresh or they are deep. When we have been hurt like this it can be easy to dismiss forgiveness because of resent, anger, pride, feeling vulnerable, or a myriad of other reasons. What we must resolve to realize is that Our Father, in His Word, has given us a most excellent reason to forgive... Because He Forgave Us. And, here is something to keep in the forefront of our minds… none of us deserved that forgiveness. “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 It is a sobering thought when we stop to think about all the careless, evil, thoughtless, mean, rude, impolite, or hurtful things for which we have been forgiven. If we are honest with ourselves, this should cause all of us to be more forgiving towards others... for we all have been forgiven much. On the flip side of the coin, if you don't feel forgiven, it will most likely be more difficult to forgive others. How can you give what you don't believe you have received? If we don't feel as if we have received forgiveness, do we even know the significance and power it can have in our lives? Think about it: Our Father... The God of All Things... The Most High Being... completely and totally wiped out your sin, forgave you for every bad, nasty, wretched thing you have done, and He Did It By Giving His Son, and essentially Himself, over to be killed for... you. We all know there are things we deserve to be "paid back" for, and Our Father has cleared them away with The Life of His Only Son. If we can pause the next time we are angry, hurt, or finding it hard to forgive, and then put our minds on all that God has forgiven us... it should be much easier to forgive someone else. When it comes down to the nuts and bolts of things, none of us can forgive anyone more than Our Father has already forgiven each and everyone of us. May we all take a moment today to dwell on those "big things" we have been forgiven for, and let it help us to forgive others for their transgressions. Remember, Our Savior Said: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:24) Let's take a note from Our Savior, Yeshua, Jesus Christ Himself. May we not only try to forgive, but may we also petition Our Father, in Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ's Name, to forgive them also, for when any of us sins, it is really just a sin against Him. Before we end today, let's take a look a little deeper at what Our Father uses His Servants Paul and John to write to us. Let us try, with the mindfulness of what we have been forgiven for, to let God's Word settle in our hearts, our minds, and change us into more forgiving, tenderhearted, humble people, with The Light of God Shinning from our very being. If we but only try this, Our Father Will help us to forgive those who have hurt us deeply. Once we forgive those who have hurt us deeply, our hearts, minds, and souls can be at Peace, freed to think on Good Things, and not evil. Not only will we gain peace and our minds be freed, but we will also be expressing thanks to The Great God and Father Whom Has Forgiven Us. It took A Great Sacrifice for us to receive our forgiveness, and the sacrifice we must make to forgive others... is most assuredly less. Fuel For The Soul: “Therefore, putting away lying, “ Let each one of you speak Truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve The Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:25-32 “Beloved, let us Love one another, for Love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not Love does not know God, for GOD IS LOVE. In this The Love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His Only Begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is Love, not that we loved God, but that He Loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so Loved us, we also ought to Love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we Love one another, God abides in us, and His Love has been perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.” I John 4:7-13 Good Morning Monday of Passover/Unleavened Bread Week!
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and “PASSOVER” from our old lives of sin & death, into Your New Life for us, and into Your TRUTH. Please give us Your Living Bread that help us to be the “UNLEAVENED BREAD” which represents YOUR SON & OUR KING. Thank You for your Great Love and Mercy! Thank You that You Sanctify us, You Deliver Us, and You Restore Us in Our Savior, Your Passover Lamb, and The Four Cups we drink. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN!. Praying everyone had an amazing Passover, First Fruits, and start to The Feast of Unleavened Bread. What an AMAZING Father In Heaven we have! The King has risen to be with us forevermore! Today we continue with “The Treasures of Passover,” and explore the fifth cup at passover, “The Cup of Restoration.” May we all stay mindful this week, and may we all shine Our King’s Light brightly as we venture through our days. May The Grace and Peace of Our Father In Heaven and Our King and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ be upon you all! - The Treasures of Passover: The Four Cups Part 5 - The Cup of Restoration Good morning Brothers and Sister. Yesterday was an amazing celebration of The Resurrection of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ The King! It has been a miraculous Passover week so far with so many wonderful things happening, and praise Our Father so many are waking up to the reality that The Whole Word of God is relevant to us today. The revelation that comes from celebrating His Feasts and participating in them is truly amazing. The spiritual fulfillment of His Instructions... all I can say is, “wow.” If you are looking for a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Our Father and Savior, I recommend taking some time over this next year, studying The Holy Feasts or “Appointed Times” (Moedim) in God’s Word, and I have no doubts that you will not only understand Our Father’s Plan of Salvation, but you will also grow your relationship with The One True and Living God... Immensely. Now, let’s get to today’s topic for this devotion, The Fourth Cup at The Passover Meal, AKA The Cup of Restoration. As mentioned on day 1 of this series, this “Cup” is The One that Yeshua Himself said that He would not partake of until He Returned. Let’s take a look: “Then He took The Cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My Blood of The New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s Kingdom.” Matthew 26:27-29 Did you “hear” that? Jesus is going to drink this cup... with us! How humbling? This world is passing away like a spring flower, and Our Father’s Kingdom is closer at hand now than when we first believed. How do we know this is True? Well, because of The Word of God. Let’s take a look: “And do this (Keep The Commandments), knowing the time (The Appointed Time/Moedim), that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on The Armor of Light.” Romans 13:11-12 When Yeshua, Jesus Christ, performed The Passover Meal with His Disciples, He knew we would understand the Amazing and Bountiful meaning one day. In fact, it is hard to fathom, because of our small human brains, but He knew exactly who would understand, and was thinking of each and every one of us when He spoke these words. Once again, humbling, right? Let’s go ahead and get a witness from His Word. We will use a few translations for clarity.: “Jesus answered and said to him, “What I Am doing you do not understand now, but you will understand after these things.” John 13:7 LEB “Jesus replied, “You don’t understand now what I Am doing, but someday you will.” John 13:7 NLT “Yeshua answered him, “You don’t know what I Am doing now, but you will understand later.” Yochanan 13:7 WMB After what things? Well, after His fulfillment... and our participation in His Story of Redemption and Restoration. The disciples, and us, can truly understand what Yeshua was doing when we: 1.) Get baptized and follow Him and 2.) When we participate in that which He has instructed us, including The Passover Meal. He Loves Us, Wants To Eat With Us, and is coming to “Restore All Things!” “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of The Lord, and that He may send Messiah Yeshua, who was ordained for you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God Spoke long ago by the mouth of His holy prophets.” Acts 3:19-21 WMB “LORD (YHVH, Yahweh), men live by these things; and my spirit finds life in all of them. You restore me, and cause me to live. Behold, for peace I had great anguish, but You have in Love for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; for You have cast all my sins behind your back.” Isaiah 38:16-17 WMB Amazing... Exciting... and... Divine, wouldn’t you say? Alright, let’s begin to conclude today with another excerpt from hebrewforchristians.com and take a closer look at The Cup of Restoration during The Passover Meal: “The Cup of Restoration Leader: We now come to the fourth (and final) cup of wine for the Seder. This cup represents the fourth “I will” statement of Exodus 6:6 - “I will acquire you as a nation.” Since Yeshua told his disciples that He would not drink the fourth cup but promised to do so with them in the coming Kingdom (Matt. 26:29), this cup may be called the “Cup of Restoration,” since it will be fully savored only after “all Israel shall be saved” (Rom. 11:26). Let’s pour this fourth cup of wine and recite a few portions from the second half of the Hallel (Psalms 115-118), praising The LORD for His kindness and grace to us: Leader: “May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth!” Reader 1: I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy! Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. Reader 2: Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD! Reader 3: Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Reader 4: The stone that the builders rejected has become the Cornerstone. This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it! All Recite: O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield! O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield! You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield! Leader: Let’s now joyfully drink from the Fourth Cup, the Cup of Restoration. We drink this cup in anticipation of the coming day when we shall do so with our Lord and Savior, Yeshua the great King of kings of kings, and Lord of lord of lords. Of Yeshua it is said, “The Messiah our wisdom” (1 Cor. 1:30). “I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the Name of the LORD” - Psalm 116:13 This cup represents our great hope that soon the Messiah will return for us, and soon he will fulfill the kingdom promises given to the Jewish people. In that great day, all Israel shall be saved and we shall reign with Him in the millennial kingdom of God upon the earth. Let us all recite the blessing: Reader 1: “Blessed art Thou, LORD our God, King of the universe, Creator of the fruit of the vine.” For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the shofar blast of God: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.’’ - 1 Thess. 4:16-17” Amazing right? A big thank you to hebrewforchristians.com for helping to make this series possible. May we all remember that He Is... all 4 Cups. He Is... Our Sanctification (Cup 1), Our Deliverer (Cup 2), Our Redeemer (Cup 3), and He Is... Restoring All Things Now and in a day to come when He drinks with us at His Passover Wedding Feast (Cup 4). Will this be the cup we are drinking when He “finishes the good work He has begun in us?”(Philippians 1:6) I pray everyone has enjoyed this series, it has been edifying, and it has brought you closer to The Truth of God Our Father and drawn you closer to Him. God Bless My Brothers and Sisters, may each of your final days of The Feast of Unleavened Bread be fruitful, and I pray that during Our Father’s Festival of Firstfruits yesterday (Commonly Called Resurrection Day) that each and every one of us had a “Resurrection In Spirit” as we celebrated quite possibly The Most Amazing Miracle Ever Performed, The Resurrection Of The King of Kings! Oh, one final thing. At the end of The Passover Meal there is a traditional saying about eating The Passover Meal again next year, but together with Yeshua, and each other, in a very special place. We will conclude with this phrase spoken at the end of The Passover Meal: “Next Year In New Jerusalem!” 👑🔥🐑 Happy Feast of First Fruits and Resurrection Sunday Everybody!!!
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. We THANK YOU for continuing YOUR GOOD WORKS yesterday, today, and forevermore. May we continually thank You for Your Salvation YESHUA, OUR RESURRECTED SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, and being OUR GOD!!! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name We Pray. Amen! Tomorrow we continue the series “The Treasures of Passover,” but today we celebrate The First Fruits of Our Father’s Glorious Resurrection From The Grave. The King Is Risen! May we as His followers and believers rise with Him, shining His Light to this dark, corrupt, and lost world. It is time! Thank You Father and Thank You Yeshua!!! - The King Is Risen!: A Call To Action On First Fruits Aka Resurrection Sunday Around 2000 years ago The Most Amazing Miracle That The World Has Ever Seen occurred. A Man was brutally beaten, abused, kicked, His beard was pulled out, He was mocked, ridiculed, then skinned alive and hung on a Cross. He died. He was humanly unrecognizable. His mother looked on, and along with His devout followers, some who were not there, were completely devastated. He was taken down, wrapped in burial clothes, and buried in a tomb. He remained in the tomb 3 days and 3 nights. What happened next defied all that we know as possible. HE ROSE, WAS SEEN BY THOUSANDS, HE HEALED, BROUGHT HOPE TO A HOPELESS WORLD, AND BEGAN TURNING THE UPSIDE DOWN SYSTEM OF THIS WORLD ON ITS HEAD! Of course we are talking about The King of Kings, Our Savior, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, The Word and Right Hand of God Almighty! Unfortunately for much of the world, they do not believe. Although the evidence is overwhelming, the proof has been shown, and is all documented... unbelief, just as in The Bible, runs amuck. For us as believers, this pivotal moment in HIStory is the pinnacle of which we hang our hope, faith, and Lives. We celebrate because we know this is the moment all we believe in was fulfilled. When we look at every other religious leader who ever lived: Muhammad, Budah, Krishna, Joseph Smith, all the popes, and any other religious leader you can name in HIStory, they all died and they all stayed in their graves…Accept ONE. The King... He Rose! And what did He do when He Rose? He immediately went to work, showing The Life-Saving, Sin-Forgiving Glory of God Almighty. Not only did Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, The King rise, but HE LIVES FOREVER MORE AND IS WORKING UNTIL THIS VERY MOMENT AND DAY! I encourage each and everyone who believes and knows that Our Savior Died, Was Buried, and Rose Again to, this year, join in the work the He Is Doing Until This Very Day. It is high time as believers we stopped being passive about His Love and what He Has Done For Us, and the rest of the world. There is no room any longer for passivity. This world needs to know The Truth. Will you help to spread The Truth? Will you join in The King’s Work? I know He Prays That You Do, and may we as believers join with Him in this prayer. He Is... Salvation. He Is... The Resurrection & Life. And He Is... Counting On His Body... To Rise!!! God Bless Each and Every One of You On The Other Side Of This Screen! I Love You More Than You Will Ever Know, But... The King Loves You More! Happy First Fruits and Resurrection Sunday Everybody! HE IS RISEN! HalleluYAH! The Word of God Almighty, The Risen King: “Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead. Then the disciples went back to their homes. But Mary stood weeping outside the tomb, and as she wept she stooped to look into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him. Having said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus.” John 20:1-14 “Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for HE IS RISEN, as He said. Come, see the place where The Lord lay.” Matthew 28:1-6 “He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.” John 21:17 Good Morning Sabbath and Happy Passover/Unleavened Bread!!!
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and “PASSOVER” from our old lives of sin & death into Your New Life for us and into Your TRUTH. Just as Your Living Bread, helps us to be the “UNLEAVENED BREAD” that represents YOUR SON & OUR KING. Thank You for your Great Love and Mercy! Thank You that You Sanctify us, You Deliver Us, and You give us Selah, a pause for Peace, in Our Savior, Your Passover Lamb, and The Four Cups we drink. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN!. - The Treasures of Passover: The Four Cups Part 4 - Selah (A Heartfelt Mindful Pause On Passover/Unleavened Bread) Today we “Selah,” or “pause” for peace on the Passover. With everything going on, Passover/Unleavened Bread, baptisms, service, guests in our homes, and just plain old Life in general during this special week, a small break or pause is appropriate, especially considering what Our King and Savior has done for us on this special day. After all, isn’t that what Our Father’s Appointed Times (Moedim), or Holy Festivals, are all about? I would say that is a resounding YES! And... May we thank Our Father In Heaven For It! 🔥🙌 In the spirit of the word “Selah,” today’s devotion will be brief, and tomorrow we will finish the fifth part of this Passover/Unleavened Bread Series with The Fourth Cup at The Passover Meal, also known as The Cup of Restoration, the cup our Savior told us He would not drink until He returns. Selah is a word in The Bible that is surrounded with mystery. While much conjecture has been placed on this word, it is possible we do not know the actual Hebrew definition of the word. For many years, myself and those around me, did not have a clue why this word was in The Bible, but the more study that was done, the clearer the picture became. Some explain it as a “pause in singing with just instruments,” some explain it as just a total “pause,” and some put much more meaning into it, which seems to make the most sense, because In God Our Father’s Word... there is ALWAYS a deeper meaning. After much study I personally have come to believe this word is there to have us, the readers and Children of God Almighty, take a heartfelt, mindful, and divine, so to speak, pause. Just as we take a heartfelt and mindful pause from our normal activities on Sabbath and Our Father’s Holy Feasts, so should we do as we read this word in The Bible. As The Word Speaks, He let’s us know to take a moment, a pause, and think of all the wonderful things Our God, Father, Savior, and King does for us. With these things in mind, let’s conclude with some verses that bear the word “selah” in the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, which does a great job including this Holy Word, and in fact is the only english translation that seems to give an explanation alongside this Heavenly, Mysterious, and Treasure of The Word. May God Our Father & Our Savior Yeshua’s Peace and Grace be upon each and everyone of you My Brothers and Sister, and... Happy Passover! The resurrection celebration is upon us! The Reason For Our Peaceful, Heartfelt, and Mindful Pause During This Passover, The Word of God Almighty (El Shaddai): “Salvation belongs to The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh); May Your blessing be upon Your people. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!” Psalm 3:8 AMPC “In God we have made our boast all the day long, and we will give thanks to Your Name forever. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!” Psalm 44:8 AMPC “The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) of Hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our Refuge (our Fortress and High Tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!” Psalm 46:7 AMPC Good Morning Friday of Passover/Unleavened Bread Preparation Week... Passover Eve!!!
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and “PASSOVER” from our old lives of sin & death into Your New Life for us, and into Your TRUTH. Help us to be as Your Living Bread the “UNLEAVENED BREAD” that represents YOUR SON & OUR KING and His Sinless, Perfect Life. Thank You for your Great Love and Mercy! Thank You that You Sanctify us, You Deliver Us, and You Redeem us as represented in Our Savior, Your Passover Meal, and The Four Cups we drink. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! - The Treasures of Passover: The Four Cups Part 3 - The Cup of Redemption Today we are on The Third Cup or The Cup of Redemption in The Passover Meal/Seder. We have spoken about many of the wonderful reminders and revelations of The Passover Meal, and also some of the many symbols pointing to Our King, Savior, and Eternal Passover Lamb. We have journeyed through, very briefly, the first 6 steps in The Passover Ordered (Seder) Meal. Now, let’s number the next six steps, touch on them briefly, and finish with the 13th step, which is The Cup of Deliverance. After The Cup of Deliverance is partaken of at The Meal, typically Hallel, or Thanks, is given to Our Father In Heaven before the service moves on. Then to part 7. Here we go: 7.) Thanks and A Blessing are spoken for Our Father’s Commandments & and Washing of Hands Before The Meal. Interesting enough, The Torah in Exodus speaks about washing many times. It is a picture of us being “washed by The Water of The Word” and it instantly brings this verse to mind: “that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by The Word,” Ephesians 5:26 Who is the “He” in the above verse? Yeshua! Who is the “her?” Us, His Bride! 8.) Eating of The Matzah (Unleavened Bread) Two Blessings are spoken to Our Father stating that He Is... “King of The Universe Who Brings Forth Bread From The Earth.” Then the unleavened bread is eaten. Various meanings are explained for the guests about matzah, unleaven bread, and how our ancestors, The Israelites, prepared for their journey out of Egypt. If you would like to dig further on this, take a look here: Exodus 12:33-34, Exodus 13:3,6, 1Peter 1:19, Hebrews 9:26, 1Corinthians 5:7-8. Also, doing a brief study on “Leaven” is amazing! 9.) Eating of The Bitter Herbs Now this may sound strange, but it is a commandment, reminds us of the affliction of our ancestors (Exodus 1:14), and as we are about to see, it was a very important part of Our King Yeshua’s Passover Meal. Let’s take a look: “When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?” He answered and said, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me. The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom The Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.” Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, “Rabbi, is it I?” He said to him, “You have said it.” Matthew 26:20-25 NKJV Before the guests eat the bitter herbs, the herbs are dipped into a water dish. This is the dish Judas dipped his hand into with Yeshua before he betrays Him. I read this for years not knowing or even questioning why Jesus was dipping His Hand in a dish with Judas! After participating in The Passover Meal, it all became clear. An amazing revelation! 10.) Eating of A Passover Praise (Hallel) Sandwich This step includes the fulfillment of Exodus 12:8. It has bitter and sweet. The bitter represents our slavery before being reborn, the sweet represents The Good End of Our Redemption, and it is all “sandwiched” between and carried by the representative matzah or The Bread of Life, Our Savior Yeshua. Beautiful! 11.) Eating of The Passover Meal I don’t think this one needs any explaining. There are a traditional “four questions” asked at The Passover Meal. It is jokingly said that the fifth question comes at this point, which is: “When do we eat?!” The answer... “Now!” After going through the steps of The Passover Meal, it is nearly impossible to eat and not think of Yeshua being Our Passover Lamb, His meal with the disciples, and what our ancestors must have gone through before and after their Passover Meal. It is eye-opening to say the least! It brought this Scripture to mind: “Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;” Luke 10:23 NKJV 12.) Communion After Dinner At the beginning of The Passover Meal a piece of matzah or unleavened bread was broken, hidden, and little children are to find it. Think about it: He Was Broken, Put Away In The Tomb, and Then Found By His Children. Talk about prophetic! At Yeshua’s Passover Meal, this is where He States: “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My Body.” Matthew 26:26 Finally, we come to the 13th step or The Cup of Redemption. Once again let’s review The Scripture in Exodus 6: “I AM The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh), and I Will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I Will deliver you from slavery to them, and I Will REDEEM you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. I Will take you to be My people, and I Will be your God, and you shall know that I AM The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) your God, Who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians” Exodus 6:6-7 Some interesting things to think about: A.) The Cup of Redemption is the 13th step in The Passover Seder (Order). Yeshua was The 13th man in His Group, 12 Disciples and Him. “The Last Shall Be First (Matthew 20:16)” B.) In Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Is Our Cup of Redemption C.) This is The 3rd Cup. The 3rd Day Yeshua Rose From The Grave for Our Redemption! D.) Matthew 26:27-28 which states: “Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My Blood of The New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” Matthew 26:27-28 NKJV Let’s finish once again with an excerpt from hebrewforchristians.com on The Cup of Redemption. Behold Israel! The Cup of Redemption!: “The Cup of Redemption (Aslo known As The Cup of Blessing): The third cup recalls God’s promise given to Israel: “I will redeem you with an outstretched arm,” and therefore it is called the “Cup of Redemption” or the “Cup of Blessing.” It was this cup that Yeshua used to symbolize His great sacrifice for us as The True Lamb of God: Reader 1: And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is My Blood of The New Covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” - Matt. 26:27-28 Reader 2: For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. – 1 Cor. 11:26 Leader: The wine in this cup recalls the shed blood of the lamb that was applied to the doorposts in Egypt, causing the plague of death to pass over. Similarly, Yeshua associated this cup with The Blood He would shed on The Cross, causing death to “pass over” those trusting in Him. This is the cup of The New Covenant, that is, God’s new agreement to regard all those who trust in the death of The Messiah for the forgiveness of their sins to be justified and made right with Him. Of Yeshua it is said, “The Messiah our Redemption” (1 Cor. 1:30). Let us again be silent for a moment... Close your eyes and hold this cup in your hands. This Cup of Redemption represents God’s New Covenant, and the very Blood of Yeshua that was shed for the forgiveness of your sins on the cross...” HalleluYah! Our Redeemer Lives! (Job 19:25).Tomorrow, we will take a godly, mindful pause (Selah) in this series in honor of Our King and Savior, and then on to The 4th Cup on Sabbath... Until then My Brothers and Sisters Shalom (Peace), May The One Who Redeems Us Bless You, and Happy Passover! Good Morning Thursday of Passover/Unleavened Bread Preparation Week...
Thank You that You Sanctify us, and You Deliver Us as represented in Your Passover Meal. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN!. - The Treasures of Passover: The Four Cups Part 2 - The Cup of Deliverance Yesterday we did a brief overview of The Passover Meal or The Passover Seder (Order) and touched on some of the meanings, traditions, and went over how Yeshua, Jesus Christ, participated in Passover. Of course we all know that Yeshua did more than just participate, but is The Centerpiece of Passover as well, being our One True & Eternal Passover Lamb Sacrifice. May we never forget that He Is... “The Lamb Slain From The Foundation of the world (Rev 13:8).” The prophetic picture of The Lamb’s Blood painted on The Israelites Doorpost and The Angel of Death “Passing Over” them is a really just a giant neon sign pointing straight to Our Messiah and what He Does For Us. Let’s pause and get a couple of Biblical Witnesses for establishment: “All who dwell on the earth will worship him (the antichrist), whose names have not been written in The Book of Life of The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 NKJV “Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep The Feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and Truth.” I Corinthians 5:7-8 NKJV Just as all The Torah (The First 5 Books of The Bible), The Writings, and Prophets are all written about Yeshua (Jesus), Our King & Savior, so to are The Holy Appointed Times (Feasts) of Our Father about Yeshua. Yesterday we looked at The First Cup of Passover Seder (Order) Meal or The Cup of Sanctification. Who is it that sanctifies us? You got it, Yeshua. Today we will take at look at The Second Cup of Passover or The Cup of Deliverance. Who is it that delivers us from the bondage of sin? Right again, Yeshua. Our Father commands us to “remember” The Israelites Passover from bondage to Egypt, to tell our children, and that His Appointed Time (Moed) of Passover is to be “for all time” or an “everlasting” regulation. “This is a day to remember. Each year, from generation to generation, you must celebrate it as a special festival to The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh). This is a law (instruction) for all time.” Exodus 12:14 NLT With all that established, let’s now do a brief review of where we are at in The Passover Seder (Order): As stated yesterday, typically, The Passover Meal begins with a welcome from the head of the household, then Blessings and Thanks to Our Father and Savior are given, after which some Scriptures are read, candles lit, an honoring of the woman, or women, who helped prepare everything is implemented (Typically Called “The Cup of Miriam.”), then we come to The First Cup of The Passover Meal. The Cup Is Called “Kadesh” or “The Cup of Sanctification” and it is a memorial of Our Father’s Promise: “I will bring you out of Egypt (Exodus 6:6-7).” Next we move on through various blessings to Our Father, the drinking of The First Cup, and then there is a ceremonial washing. Remember Yeshua washing The Disciples feet? Yep, Yeshua Did It All. Next there are some memorials of the Israelites struggles and remembering the tears they shed in Egypt. After this the service moves on to The Breaking of The Unleavened Bread. Remember Yeshua declaring “This Is My Body” in Luke 22:19? This is the part of The Passover Order that we as believers in Yeshua have heard at communion since we first began attending church services! This part of the Passover Meal is an invitation to “come and dine with The King.” This is The Blessing that is spoken upon The Breaking of The Bread: “This is the bread of brokenness which our fathers ate in the land of Egypt.” All who are hungry -- let them come and eat. All who are needy -- let them come and celebrate The Passover with us.” For the sake of time we won’t go over how significant and prophetic the above Blessing is, but do you recognize anything familiar in that Blessing? If you don’t, when you can, maybe take a look at these Verses: John 6:35, Isaiah 55:1, and Proverbs 9:5. And these are just a few! After The Breaking of The Matzah (Unleavened Bread), the guests are shown various connections to Our Messiah, then The Passover Story is told. (It is worth noting, while some of the elements of The Passover Meal are just traditions, The retelling of The Passover Story during The Passover Meal is a Command from Our Father.) After The Passover Story is told, “Hallel” or “Thanks” are offered, and then we come to The Cup of Deliverance. Let’s recall The Scriptures: “I Am The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh), and I Will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I Will DELIVER YOU from slavery to them, and I Will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. I Will take you to be My people, and I Will be your God, and you shall know that I AM The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) your God, Who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians” Exod. 6:6-7 Once again, let’s take a look at an excerpt from hebrewforchristians.com. Behold Israel! The Cup of Deliverance!: “The Cup of Deliverance Leader: At this time, let us look at the shank bone on the Seder plate and recall how Yeshua Our Messiah is The True Passover Lamb of God, Our Beloved Savior, and How “Not One Bone” was broken (Psalm 34:20): Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! We are now finally ready to drink the “Cup of Deliverance.” This cup recalls God’s second promise made to our ancestors: “I will DELIVER YOU from slavery.” Let us then give thanks to The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) Our God for saving the Israelites from Egypt and for delivering us from our personal bondage to the evil one by the shed blood of The Lamb of God... Let us lift our hearts to God in thanks for His Salvation (Yeshua!) as we recite the blessing: All Recite: “Blessed art Thou, Yahweh our God, King of the universe, Creator of The Fruit of The Vine.” “I will lift up The Cup of Salvation and call upon the Name of The LORD. (YHVH, Yahweh)” - Psalm 116:13 Drink from the cup after reciting the blessing... Worthy is the Lamb Thanking God for Deliverance: Leader: Of all the blessings we will recite this night, surely one of the most important is to thank God for The Way of Salvation given to us in His Son Yeshua, The Great Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world. Let us recite the following Hebrew blessing that offers thanks and praise to Yahweh our God: All Recite: “Praised are you, Yahweh, Who assures our Salvation...” Hebrew: Barukh attah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha’olam, asher natan lanu et derekh ha’yeshuah ba’mashiach Yeshua barukh hu. Amen. English: “Blessed are You, LORD (Yahweh) our God, King of The Universe, Who gave to us The Way of Salvation through The Messiah Yeshua, blessed be He. Amen.” Leader: The deliverance we have in Yeshua both clears us of guilt and sin while investing us with the power and righteousness of God through faith. We are “justified” in Yeshua - “just-if- I’d” never sinned - and “just-if-I’d” always obeyed. This is the miracle of the “exchanged life” - The Korban Principle of the sacrificed Messiah for our deliverance (2 Cor. 5:21). Because of The Great Salvation given to us in The Messiah, we are no longer regarded as “slaves in the house” but rather are set free and made heirs of God through Yeshua our LORD (Master, Husband)." Once again, pretty awesome right?! Join us tomorrow as we read about The 3rd Cup or The Cup of Redemption ... Our Redeemer Lives! (Job 19:25). Until then My Brothers and Sisters Shalom (Peace), May The One Who Delivers Us Bless You, and Happy Preparation Week for Passover/Unleavened Bread! Happy Wednesday of Passover/Unleavened Bread Prep Week…
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Thank You for Our Perfect Passover Lamb. Please Father, help us to LIVE AWARE, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and ANCHORED IN Your TRUTH. Thank You for Your GREAT LOVE AND MERCY. Thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to WALK IN Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. - Treasures of Passover: The Four Cups Part 1 - The Cup of Sanctification The Passover Meal, or Seder (Order, Procedure) Meal, has been held in memorial now for literally thousands of years. It is quite amazing The Heavenly Treasures that can be found not only when studying about it, but so much more so when actually participate in it. This last year, and every year this servant has participated, so much has been revealed! It is just impossible to fit all of these amazing revelations into a morning devotion, because certainly it would take a whole book. But, prayerfully today, and over the next few mornings, we can shine some Light on a small part of this beautifully Yeshua-Inspired Meal. It is important to understand that The Passover Meal is not an outed tradition that doesn’t apply to us anymore, but rather an unbelievable honor and privilege in which we are all called to participate in by Our Father In Heaven. Being that Yeshua is Our Perfect Example and He participated in it, that should be enough compelling evidence for any of us. Didn’t know that Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, participated in it? Don’t feel bad, many of us didn’t. One reason that many of us didn’t know is probably because Yeshua’s Passover Meal is now commonly referred to in modern Christianity as “The LORD’s Supper.” Remember, He Said, “Do This In Remembrance of Me (Luke 22:19)” Did the light just go on? Excellent! Let’s continue. During a traditional Passover Meal there is a very specific order that the meal is presented in, hence the term “Passover Seder,” which means “Passover Order.” We know that Our Father Is A God of Order, so this makes perfect sense. From the creation of our great great grandfather Adam, to the building of Noah’s Ark, to The Tabernacle, and right on through to The Life of Our Eternal Savior, we have no shortage of examples of Our Father’s Order. Typically, The Passover Meal begins with a welcome from the head of the household, then Blessings and Thanks to Our Father and Savior are given, after which some Scriptures are read, candles lit, an honoring of the woman, or women, who helped prepare everything is implemented (Typically Called “The Cup of Miriam.”), then we come to The First Cup of The Passover Meal. The Cup Is Called “Kadesh” or “The Cup of Sanctification” and it is a memorial of Our Father’s Promise: “I will bring you out of Egypt (Exodus 6:6-7).” (Note: All Four Cups of The Passover Meal are contain in this Scripture. We will expound on these over the next few days.) Let’s take a look. “I Am The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh), and I Will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I Will deliver you from slavery to them, and I Will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment. I Will take you to be my people, and I Will be your God, and you shall know that I Am The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) your God, Who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians” Exod. 6:6-7 “For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under The Cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in The Cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same Spiritual Food and drank the same Spiritual Drink; for they drank from The Spiritual Rock that accompanied them, and That Rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:1-4 Now that we have established what The Passover Meal Is, Who It Is For, and Why It Is Relevant for us today, lets take a look at an except from hebrewforchristians.com on The First Cup: “In Hebrew, the word for “holiness” is kedushah, meaning “set-apartness.” When God said that He would bring the Israelites out of Egypt, He separated them and set them apart as his own special people. During The Exodus, their passage through the cloud and the sea were likened to their “baptism” or rebirth as God’s people. The first cup is called the “Cup of Sanctification” since it recalls how God has set us apart as His special people. This is the same cup over which we recite The Sabbath Blessing on The Sabbath, except tonight we will recite it over the first cup of Passover. Of Yeshua it is said, “Messiah our sanctification” (1 Cor. 1:30). Which cups did Yeshua drink during his Passover Seder with His disciples? He apparently drank the first two cups in the traditional way. At the third cup, The Cup of Redemption, he said: “This is My Blood of The New Covenant” (Matt 26:27- 39). Yeshua told His disciples that He would not drink the fourth cup (The Cup of Restoration), but promised to do so with them in the coming Kingdom (Matt 26:29).” Pretty awesome right?! My prayer is that during this special time of year, this devotion sparks your interest, Lights A Fire, and encourages you to search out some of the many blessings Our Father and Savior have coming for us in The Holy Feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread. Tomorrow we will take a look at “The Second Cup” of Passover or “The Cup Of Deliverance.” Until then My Brothers and Sisters Shalom (Peace), May The One Who Sanctifies Us Bless You, and Happy Passover Preparation Week! Happy Tuesday of Passover Prep Week…
Thank You Father for this NEW DAY. Help us to live aware, to choose wisely, to stay close to You, and anchored in Your TRUTH. Thank You for your GREAT LOVE AND MERCY. Thank You that You Wait For Us, and You Strengthen Us. We come to You today, choosing to walk in Your PRESENCE AND LIGHT. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen. Learning from Our Messiah is one of the most unbelievable honors we will ever get. Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is perfect, sinless, always right, merciful, mindful, and The One Example we can ALWAYS count on to be correct. Tomorrow we will get into some of the lesser known treasures of Passover, but today let's let Our King give us some examples of Living and praying in The Way. As we “remove the leaven (sin)” from our homes and lives may we constantly be reminded of Our King and Savior’s Way… The Way. God Bless everybody, have a wonderful "unleavened" day, and may revelation of Our Father and Savior's Word abound with you today. Shalom! “Therefore, my dear friends, since we have these promises, let us purify ourselves from everything that can defile either body or spirit, and strive to be completely holy, out of reverence for God.” 2 Corinthians (2 Co) 7:1 CJB - Yeshua Our Beloved Messiah: The Passover... Everything (Part 2) - How Did Yeshua (Jesus) Do It? Our Unleavened (Sinless) Perfect Example In honor of Our Passover Lamb and First Fruits Yeshua, let's take a few moments to look at Him, Our Perfect Example, when it comes to following and obeying Our Father. Today we will look at some of the prayers and actions of Jesus in the gospels of Matthew and Mark. As we read The Word today and see how Jesus prayed, what Jesus prayed for, and where He addressed Our Father, let us examine our own prayer life and let the words of Our Savior Strengthen Us. May we all be not only strengthened by His Words, but may His Words also soften our hearts toward our brethren and help us to pray for our enemies. Today we will be using both the CJB and NKJV for clarity purposes. Prayer: Father God, we ask You to open our hearts and minds today so that we may understand the words of Your Son in His prayers to You. Help us to see what is really being said and not just what is "on the surface" Father. As we read Your Word we ask You to move inside us, light a fire, and let it burn continually. We love You, thank You, and praise You all the days of our lives. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Mighty Name we pray. Amen. The Prayers and Actions of Yeshua: “It was at that time that Yeshua said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, that You concealed these things from the sophisticated and educated and revealed them to ordinary folks. Yes, Father, I thank you that it pleased You to do this.” (Matthew) 11:25-26 CJB “At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.” Matthew 11:25-26 NKJV “After He had sent the crowds away, He went up into the hills by Himself to pray. Night came on, and He was there alone.” (Matthew) 14:23 CJB “And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.” Matthew 15:36 NKJV “Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed.” Mark 1:35 NKJV “And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray.” Mark 6:46 NKJV “Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.” And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.” He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will. ” Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words.” Mark 14:32-39 NKJV What can we take from these passages?: Yeshua was alone most of the time when He went to prayed. "He often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."(Luke 5:16) 1.) Pray alone when seeking Our Father 2.) Our Father In Heaven reveals to His innocent, ordinary followers with childlike faith and Yeshua thanks Him for this 3.) When Yeshua was with people, He fed them. 4.) When He was alone He pleaded with His Father, but still submitted to His Will. 5.) When He was with His disciples they stayed awake, when Yeshua left, they fell asleep. Praise God for His Beautiful Message in The Life of Yeshua (Salvation), Jesus Christ! May we all glean from The King. God Bless each and everyone of you on the other side of this screen. Have a great God-Filled day and continue to be a Light of Our Father through Yeshua. A Christ-centered life is like a good watch: open face, busy hands, pure gold, and full of good works. ~Unknown Happy Monday of Passover Prep Week Everybody!!!
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. We THANK YOU for continuing YOUR GOOD WORKS yesterday, today, and forevermore. May we continually thank You for Your Salvation YESHUA, OUR PASSOVER LAMB, JESUS CHRIST, and being OUR GOD!!! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen! Happy Passover Preparation Week everyone! During this week of Passover Preparations we will take a look at some of the amazing mysteries and treasures Our Father and Savior have given us to unearth in His Passover Celebration. I thought it prudent to start this series this week instead of on Passover as to give everyone a heads up, and so everyone could begin to make preparations and “clean the leaven out (repent, clean the sin out of our lives)” ahead of this glorious celebration, just as we are commanded by Our Holy Amazing Father In Heaven. Today, let us begin at “The Door” where all things Passover begin and end, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ, The Name Above All Names, and The King of Kings. He Is... Our Cup of Salvation, Reconciliation, Redemption, and Saving Grace. There is no better place to start, and in fact... nothing starts without Him (Colossians 1:16). With that in mind let us begin this Glorious Passover Preparation Morning with “Yeshua: The Passover... Everything (Part 1).” For everyone who will be celebrating Our Father’s Passover Festival as we are commanded, my prayer is that it is absolutely amazing and revelation filled (i have a strong feeling it will be :-)). For all those celebrating for the first time, may The Grace, Wonder, and Spirit of Passover, Who Is Yeshua, show up at your meal, draw you close, and open your hearts and minds to The Most Amazing Gift Ever Given To Mankind... The Savior And Sacrifice for each and everyone of us. Have an amazing leaven-cleaning week everybody and May God Our Father and His Mighty Son Yeshua Ha’Mashiach Bless each and everyone of you during this amazing memorial of The Greatest Man To Ever Walk The Face of This Earth, Our King and Savior, Jesus The Christ. Long Live The King! - Yeshua Our Beloved Messiah: The Passover... Everything (Part 1) Yeshua, Jesus Christ, came, He saw, and He conquered. His last words were: "It Is Finished! (John 19:30)" Not only did He come, see, and conquer, but He also fulfilled. In fact, many scholars believed that Yeshua fulfilled up to 456 prophecies, and counting! Here are just a handful of significant prophecies fulfilled by Yeshua: 1.) Born in Bethlehem (Appropriately Meaning "House of Bread) -Micah 5:2 2.) He was preceded by John The Baptist (Jesus tells us John was the "Elijah that was to come.") (Malachi 5:5-6) 3.) He entered Jerusalem on a donkey (Zachariah 9:9) 4.) He was betrayed by a friend who received thirty pieces of silver (Zachariah 11:12-13) 5.) He stood silent before His accusers (Isaiah 53:7) 6.) He died, being crucified, in the manner Romans used for criminals (Psalm 22, Isaiah 53, Zachariah 13) 7.) His was scourged (Isaiah 53:5) 8.) He was pierced through His hands and feet (Psalm 22:16, Isaiah 53) To get an idea of the chances of any one person in history fulfilling just these eight prophecies, we have to really "open our eyes" and imagine the staggering numbers. The odds that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, fulfilled JUST THE EIGHT PROPHECIES ABOVE are: 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 or 1:10 to the 17th Power. This is really quite remarkable! While we don't have time to look at larger numbers or even larger and unfathomable odds, you can find them immediately here: https://yeshua.org/ Also, if you would like review more than 300 of the prophecies Yeshua fulfilled, they are documented and resourced here: https://yeshua.org/jewish-scriptures/300-predictions-about-messiah/ It is quite amazing that Our Savior fulfilled so many prophecies just during this current Holy Feast of Our Father, Passover. Consider this: He was sacrificed on the exact-correct date, in the exact-correct manner, predicted thousands of years before. He was skinned, He was hung on cedar wood, blood and water came out of His side, He was fed vinegar soaked into hyssop, He came on "the fourth day" (a day to Our Father is as a thousand years. Yeshua came in the four thousandth year of man’s existence. On the "fourth day" is when you brought The Passover Lamb in and is also the day of creation that Light came to the world🔥). Jesus, Our Passover Lamb, came and "dwelt with us" just as The Passover Lamb was suppose to, He was perfect, without blemish, He was the firstborn Son of God, and He died in the shape of a cross, which is the ancient Hebrew letter (Tav), which represents covenant. Wow. And these are just a few of The Passover Scriptures that Yeshua, Our Passover Lamb, fulfilled for us! We can stand firm believing that Our Father and His Son have worked everything out... perfectly. Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our King, has made a way for us to return to "right standing" with Our Father. A way for us to "Passover" from death to Life! This is indeed a reason to rejoice! Praise Him and Bless His Name Forever! It is easy to see, especially as we "dig deeper" into Scripture, that not only is Yeshua Our Savior, King, Redeemer, Confidant, Mediator, and Best Friend, but He Is also The Biblical Passover Lamb. Dig even deeper and we will find He Is: "The Passover... Everything." Cool Facts, Food For Thought, and Prayer As We Go Through The Week of Unleavened Bread and Head Towards "First Fruits" (aka "Resurrection Sunday"): Cool Fact: The Aramaic word for lamb is "talya" Talya can mean "lamb" or "servant." In Isaiah 53 we read about Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The "Suffering Servant." Isaiah 53 describes Our Savior as "a lamb led to the slaughter." Let's take a look: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.” Isaiah 53:5-7 Another witness to Isaiah 53:7 and Yeshua being The Passover Lamb: “Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.” I Corinthians 5:7 Food For Thought: The Bible calls Our Savior "The Lamb" no less than 34 times. The number of exact pictures between The Passover Lamb and Jesus is no less than spectacular. We can see if we look at them as a whole that Our Father has been preparing "His Beloved" as Our Passover Sacrifice since the beginning of mankind. Our Savior and King said that He "came not to be served, but to serve (Mark 10:45)." What are our thoughts about Our Father's Holy Feast of Passover? Are we willing to allow ourselves a deeper understanding of Our Savior's Mighty and Atoning Work? Can we allow His Atoning Work of: forgiveness, safety, wholeness, and acceptance, to help us experience our own freedom and help others today? Prayer: Dear Father, please help us to remove the leaven (sin) out of our lives this week. Give us a desire to remove it completely so we may be closer to you, and understand more clearly the scope of what You have done for us. As we prepare for Your Holy Week where You gave The Ultimate Sacrifice Once and For All... Yourself... Your Son… we ask you to soften our hearts, help us to completely forgive our enemies as you have forgiven us, and become more humble and meek like Your Son, The King, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. It is in His Name, Our Passover Lamb's Name, we ask these things. Thank You, Bless You, we Love You. Amen! |
