Good Morning Let’s Talk About The Word Tuesday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, KNOWLEDGE, and DISCIPLINE. Father we ask this so we can STORE UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN... TREASURES THAT ARE ETERNAL. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S MIGHTY NAME we ask this of You Father. Amen! - A Servant’s Wisdom and The Source Part 58 Wisdom: “The real measure of a man’s wealth is what he has invested in eternity.” ~ Unknown The Source AKA The Word This Wisdom Came From: “Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 WEBUS “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My House. Test me in this,” says The LORD (Yahweh) Almighty (El Shaddai), “and see if I will not throw open The Floodgates of Heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10 NIV “And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” ’ “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” Luke 12:19-21 NIV “Yeshua said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you own, and give to the poor; and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come, follow Me.” Matthew 19:21 TLV “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be proud and not to put their hope in the uncertainty of riches, but in God, who provides us all things richly for enjoyment, to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, sharing freely, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the future, in order that they may take hold of what is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:17-19 LEB “Yeshua also said to the one who had invited Him, “When you give a lunch or a dinner, don’t invite your friends, brothers, relatives or rich neighbors; for they may well invite you in return, and that will be your repayment. Instead, when you have a party, invite poor people, disfigured people, the crippled, the blind! How blessed you will be that they have nothing with which to repay you! For you will be repaid at The Resurrection of The Righteous.” Luke (Luk) 14:12-14 CJB “Blessed be The God and Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, who according to His Great Mercy caused us to be born again to A Living Hope through The Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you,” 1 Peter 1:3-4 WEBUS “If then you were raised together with Christ, seek The Things That Are Above, where Christ is, seated on The Right Hand of God. Set your mind on The Things That Are Above, not on the things that are on the earth.” Colossians 3:1-2 WEBUS Prayer: Dear Father God, Abba, Thank You for waking us up and revealing to us, Your Children, The Truth. Thank you for teaching us the most important lessons, like how to store up Treasures in Your Kingdom, not false treasures in this world. Thank You for being All-Knowing. Thank You for being our King, and allowing us to Live under Your Rule, avoiding the counterfeit and deceptive ways this world teaches. Continue to make us wise Father, showing us the exceeding Glory in Your Word and Your Way. There is none like You O’ Father! None so Patient, Long-Suffering, Faithful, Loving, Kind, Merciful, and Holy. Father, please remind us continually, and help us to know how to put You and Your Kingdom first…A Kingdom which will last forever. With You Abba, all things are possible, so increase our faith Father and help us to know and believe… Your Way Is The Way Everlasting. With Your Instruction, Your Wisdom, and all the ways You teach us store up Your Treasures in this temporary life, You prepare us for our Eternal Life with You. Bless You Abba! Without You, we would be lost. With You we have everything. Without You we have nothing. Show us The Way Father... Show us Your Love. May We Bless You with Our Mouths, May we Love You with our thoughts, May we Glorify You with our actions, May We Rely On Your Promises, and put You First… for You Are Ever Faithful. Thank You Father… for absolutely everything! In Our King and Savior’s Name Yeshua, Jesus Christ, we pray these things to You Abba. Amen. “For The Word of The LORD (YHVH, Yahweh) is right; and all His Work is done in faithfulness.” Psalm 33:4 AMPC “Listen to counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, That you may be wise in the time to come.” Proverbs 19:20 AMP “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known The Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-Breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:14-17 NIV Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, prayer requests, or thoughts in the comments below.

Good Morning Mighty Messiah Monday…
FATHER GOD, THANK YOU FOR this new day. Grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and THE WISDOM to know the difference. We ask these things Father IN Your Salvation's Name, YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST The King. Good Morning Savior’s Hope Saving Sunday...
Thank You Father for the blessing of this NEW day and week. Please continue to fill our HEARTs & MINDs with Your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay FOCUSED on The TRUTH of: “Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28)" TODAY! In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name we pray. Amen. - Hope In Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ… Salvation Hope. Hope is a very important subject, especially when looking into the subject of Salvation. Hope can provide us with many wonderful thoughts, and Hope can also be a very powerful motivator. When we Love something, we foster our attention on that "something." In addition to fostering our attention on what we Love, we Hope to get something from whomever or whatever it is we Love. Placing our Hope in something we Love will guide us in varying directions. Hope can influence us to "take action," or not, depending on what it is in which we Hope. When we Hope for something, or Hope not for something to happen, we will most times take actions to lead either situation in that direction of our Hope. An example would be us as believers; Our Hope is in Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and so we are motivated to do things that would please Him and Our Father. Hope can motivate us to action or motivate us to abandon action. Hope is powerful. What if what we Hope for is beyond our control? Do we still pray for what it is that we are Hoping for? Of course, everyday! Can you see the power in that? We Hope for something, we have no power whatsoever to acquire this thing in which we Hope for, but we still pray fervently for it. Many times we will even Actively Hope for things without realizing it, and Hope can be a large part, if not all of the reason, we bend and turn particular directions during Life. This happens because our Hope Is Strong. At a minimum, we will desire, worry, or analyze something that we Hope for until we are comfortable that it is resolved. That’s why we as believers and followers of Jesus Christ can have peace... because our Hope is sure. The things we place our Hope in are in constant action in our minds, and this is an important reason we should be aware and conscious of what it is in which we have Hope. Hope as defined by Meriam Webster is: desire accompanied by expectation of or belief in fulfillment. Hope can be active. Hope can be passive. Hope can be for good. Hope can be for evil. We see, Hope is a very important element of our Faith. As a matter of fact, Our Father and Savior tell us that along with Faith and Love, that Hope is one of the most important, eternal values we can have. Throughout all of eternity there will never be a time when our Hope is not in something. Beginning to see how important our Hope is? I Hope So. Our Hope, The Word of God, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, The Lion of The Tribe of Judah: “But if we HOPE for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.” Romans 8:25 “I wait for The LORD (Yahweh), my soul waits, And in His Word (Yeshua) I do HOPE.” Psalms 130:5 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says The LORD (Yahweh), thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a HOPE.” Jeremiah 29:11 “This HOPE we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where The Forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20 “Now HOPE does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out in our hearts by The Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5 “Blessed be The God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” I Peter 1:3 “And now abide Faith, HOPE, Love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.” I Corinthians 13:13 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, prayer requests, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Faith Stirring Friday (Preparation Day)...
Father, YOU reign! YOU are above all things and by YOU, all things are held together. Nothing is impossible for YOU. Please realign our hearts with YOUR TRUTH, because YOUR WORD is Truth. Renew our minds and transform our will. YOUR ways are not our ways… Yours are better. And so today, we submit to YOU! Empower us with Your Spirit Abba. We ask these things in The Mighty Name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, Our Messiah and Salvation. Amen! In these perilous times we face, we must remember that Our Father and Our Savior is in control of EVERYTHING and He will use what is going on for the good of His People. May we all have a peace today knowing... “...We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39 - Miraculous Hope: Ordinary Water... Ordinary People... Extraordinary Wine! Reading: John 2:1-11 Yeshua, Jesus Christ's recipe for wine was very different than any other winemaker in HIStory. He didn't use grapes, yeast, sugar, or any of the other usual ingredients. It didn't take any sort of long process... there wasn't time. There was no wine and it needed to be produced immediately. Yeshua didn't gather what was expected...Yeshua just used ordinary water, and made extraordinary wine. Let's take a moment to think this out, because we can be certain that this story is leading us somewhere much larger. We know that The Bible is always self defining. Meaning, if we find a term or word somewhere in The Bible all we need do is look in another part of The Bible to find the definition of said word. With this in mind let's take a look at some of the definitions in this awesome story of Yeshua's first miracle. “Then He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.” Revelation 17:15 NKJV “who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.” Psalm 65:7 NIV Water = nations/people - Here we see water can mean people as Biblically defined. Now let's look at wine... “He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth, And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart.” Psalms 104:14-15 NKJV “Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.” Ecclesiastes 9:7 NKJV Wine = joy and gladness for the heart of people - Here we see wine can be and is associated with joy and gladdening the hearts of people. It also means the loving and serving people of God, but for time purposes I will not include those verses. Now that we have defined water and wine, let's take another look at Jesus's first miracle. Yeshua took ordinary water (people), and turned it (them) into wine (joy and gladness for others). Wine is the "fruit of the vine," and fruit of the vine are joyous people that are grown by spending time with Yeshua. Obviously Yeshua is The Vine (John 15:5). You hang onto Him and you become fruit that is produced. A fruit and wine that "makes glad the heart of men." It is the same with us. Our Father uses ordinary people and things for extraordinary results. It doesn't matter where we are or the amount of our abilities, because we have a Father with Limitless Abilities. The Word tells us in many places that God uses the things this world considers "foolish and weak to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27)." So let us remember this as we go through the motions of life today: God can and will use us ordinary people to serve, to encourage, and to Love one another... Just as He Sent Yeshua To Do For Us. This is the larger picture: No matter how "ordinary" you may think you are, that's the point... Jesus uses ordinary folks to bare His Fruit. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. What we have right now is all we need to serve, encourage, and Love, because Our Savior is The One who turns the water into wine...or ordinary folks into a joyful, loving people. There is no way we could turn water into wine by our own power, but because of Him... we are water turned into wine. Seek Him today. You never know, you may be ordinary water today, but in an instant or "the twinkling of an eye (1 Corinthians 15:52)" you could become wine that saves the whole wedding. Bonus Content: Thoughts to Ponder: Yeshua's miracle turning water to wine was the first of 37 miracles we are treated with in The Bible and The Gospel of John. Yeshua also said "the first shall be last and the last shall be the first (Matt 20:16)." Mathew 20:16 goes on to say: "many are called but few are chosen." Now, I realize that these verses definitely have other meanings, but think about this: John writes in his gospel "Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written (John 21:25)." Many of Yeshua's miracles were pointed out in The Bible, but few of these miracles were chosen to include. It matches Matthew 20:16 perfect!!! Just a thought: Is it possible Jesus's first miracle in The Bible will also be His Last (The first shall be last, and the last shall be first)!? Remember... "At the Last Trump, In The Twinkling of eye, we will be changed (1 Corinthians 15:52)." Ordinary Water changed to Extraordinary Wine! We know Our King is Mighty and I think the “master of the banquet” who speaks up at the wedding really “hits the mark” in our reading today when he exclaims: "You Have Saved The Best For Last! (John 2:10) Praying each of you have a wonderful preparation day Friday, and praying for each of you to have a wonderful Yeshua-Filled Sabbath tomorrow. Grace and Peace to each and every one of you on the other side of this screen! Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, prayer requests, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Heavenly Thoughts Thursday...
Amen! - Need A Miracle? Hear, Believe, Follow, and Watch! We read in The Book of John, chapter 4, when Yeshua, Jesus Christ, is on His Way back to Cana where He Performed His First Miracle. Our Messiah runs across a government worker or "nobleman." This nobleman pleaded with Him to return to his home with him. He pleaded with Him to heal his son who was about to die from a sickness. Let's take a look: “So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.” The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”” John 4:46-49 NKJV Now it would be easy to think that Jesus was "getting on to" this man here, but this may not be the case. Maybe what Our Savior was doing here is making a profound statement about our natural fallen state and our Faith. Maybe He was not only giving this man a message, but all those around him, and us also. Our natural, fallen human condition coupled with the influence of this world has made us a "we only believe when we see" culture. Just like our culture the nobleman thought if The Messiah didn't come with him and heal his child, his son would surely die. The mistake the nobleman made, and that we make very often is two-fold: 1.) The assumption that Jesus had to be present for a miracle. 2.) The assumption that if his son "passed away" it would be too late. God Is Always Present. Since Our Savior and Our Father Are One, nothing is impossible for Him. He Is Everywhere... All The Time. Despite how we think things "should be," which is most assuredly our vanity, God's Ways Never Fail. While what Our Father and Jesus do may not look like what we "imagined" or played out in our own minds, God Will Do Things In His Time and In His Way… The Way. Very often our assumption or how we think it "should be" gets in the way. We often play a scene in our heads of how we think things should go, but we must understand, God Is In Control. We need only look to Him to find out how things should really be. Notice what the nobleman does though. He made no further appeals, begged no more, but instead he heard, believed, follow the command of Our Savior, and went home to watch the miracle Our Savior had done at the mere Speaking Of His Word. As the man returned home his servants met him to tell him of the miracle that had happened, and that his child was made well. Further than that, it was at the exact time Jesus told the man to go home and that his son was healed! How powerful! Do you think this man became a follower? Can you imagine your child in this position and Jesus answering your pleading? Now that's a game changer! As followers of Yeshua, Jesus Christ we must all take this into account. The man heard, believed, followed, and watched God Produce A Miracle! As desperate as this man was, He did not make appeal again. God Is Always At Work. He doesn't have a money-back guarantee because what He Says, He Does. The Creator of All Things Is Always On Time. Our Father's Yes Is Yes, and His No Is No, just as He Instructs For Us To Do. While our conditioning and fallen state teach us to only believe what we can see, Our Father Shows Us In His Word To Hear Him, Believe Him, Follow Him, and Watch His Deliverance. May we all strive to Hear, Believe, Follow, and Watch what Our Father and Our Savior Will Do For Us. May we all grow a little closer everyday to Him Who Holds All Things In His Hand. And may we all, like the nobleman, see Our Father And His Son Yeshua, Jesus Christ Bring Life To That Which Was Dying. May God Bless, Keep, Shine His Face, Be Gracious To, Lift His Countenance Upon, and Bring Each And Every One Of You On The Other Side Of This Screen Peace! Extra Fuel For The Soul: “Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!” John 4:50-51 NKJV “So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:22-23 NKJV “But Yeshua, when he heard the message spoken, immediately said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Don’t be afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:36 WMBBE “Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.” John 14:1 WEBUS “Then Jesus declared, “I AM The Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35 NIV “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” Matthew 5:37 NKJV “Trust Yahweh with all your heart; do not lean toward your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will straighten your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 LEB Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, prayer requests, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Walking With God Wednesday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. Thank You for this day’s BREATH that we breathe. HELP us, guide us, fill us with Your Light, and lead us to be MORE LIKE Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Help us to know which battles we don’t need to fight, and when we should “STAND STILL” and SEE OUR SALVATION. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen! A big THANK YOU to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today's devotion. - A Berean Bible Study: The Source of Every Good - Psalms 16, 17, and 68 "You will show me The Path of Life; In Your Presence is fullness of joy; At Your Right Hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalm 16:11 "Let my vindication come from Your Presence; Let Your Eyes look on the things that are upright." Psalm 17:2 "As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at The Presence of God." Psalm 68:2 "The earth shook; The heavens also dropped rain at The Presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at The Presence of God, The God of Israel." Psalm 68:8 In God's Presence—in an intimate relationship with Him—is The Source of Every Good, Righteous, and Positive attitude and act. Because The Justifying Work of Jesus Christ gives us access to God, prayer brings us near so He can give these things, and we can receive them. This can be illustrated in a simple way. We have probably been in the close presence of a person of positive, uplifting attitudes, who radiates enthusiasm, zeal, confidence, gentle humor, and determination. On the other hand, it is likely we have also been in the presence of someone who wears a sour countenance, seethes with anger, trembles in fear, wallows in lethargy, or whines about his "victimization" at the hands of unseen people or forces. What happens to our attitude in either situation? Unless we resist, we tend to respond to the strength of the other's attitudes. A literal, spiritual transference of attitude takes place. What happens if we are some distance from either of these persons, or even if near, we are completely disinterested? It does not affect us in the least. Why? Because we are neither near enough nor interested enough to be affected. It is the spirit of these people radiating out from them that influences and perhaps even changes our spirit. This also gives insight into why we carnally reflect Satan's spirit: It permeates our environment. Similarly, prayer to God through Jesus Christ brings us into the very presence of The Most Positive, Righteous, and Unchanging attitudes that exist in the entire universe! God greatly desires us to have the qualities of His Spirit, and being in His Presence is one way He Accomplishes this. This is why people can leave God's Presence in prayer and feel peace, joy, or confidence—or humble and chastened because God has led them to remorse and repentance. Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, prayer requests, or thoughts in the comments below. Good Morning Turn On The Patience Tuesday…

Without You we cannot. With You we have everything. Show us The Way Father... Show us Your Love. May We Bless You with Our Mouths, May we Love You with our thoughts, May we Glorify You with our actions, May We Rely On Your Promises, and put You First. Thank You Father... for everything. Good Morning Nahum-Minding-The-Word-Monday...
FATHER thank You for THIS NEW DAY. As You WALK WITH US today, please KEEP US FOCUSED ON YOUR TRUTH. Please continue to FILL OUR HEARTS & MINDS WITH YOUR PEACE and straighten the paths before us. ABBA, HELP US TO BRING FORTH YOUR WORD whatever we may face, STANDING FIRM LIKE YOUR SERVANT NAHUM AND OUR PERFECT EXAMPLE YESHUA. Everyday, we ask you to HELP US TO SEE OUR SINs, REPENT from them, CONFESS them, AND BE CLEANSED BY YOUR MIGHTY RIGHT HAND. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Glorious and Mighty Name we ask these things Father. AMEN! - What Are The Prophets Saying? (Nahum) There are so many times I have found myself discouraged, confused, or frustrated, and wasn't sure where to turn in The Bible and find an answer to my woes. Almost without exception, wherever I turned in The Word to find my answer, whether I started in The Gospel or Genesis, I usually ended up at The Prophets. The prophets have not only a wealth of prophecy, amazing stories of triumph, encouragement, and wonderful messages for us all as a Christian Family, but they also contain a wealth of messages for each and everyone of us personally. This is literally The Almighty Father Speaking To Us! Just as Jesus Himself Spoke, so too did The Prophets Speak His Word.🔥 Our Father and Yeshua, Jesus Christ, so loved us that He never stopped sending loyal servants, again and again, to give all of us together, and individually, messages, over and over. Remember the Parable of the Vineyard Owner (Matt 21:33-46)? The Master sent His Servants, which the people beat or killed (Prophets), then The Master Sends His Son (Yeshua, Jesus) thinking the people renting his land will be more amiable... they weren't. In fact, they killed Him thinking that they would receive "the inheritance." Does this story sound familiar or what?! Our Savior Was, Is, and Always Will Be The Smartest Person Of All Time. For this reason...these parables, and The Word of God Spoken Through The Prophets, should be carefully studied. Within this Ancient Wise Parable that Yeshua Spoke, we find The Prophets of God ( The Servants) came before He (The Master) Sent His Son. With that in mind, let us take a look today at what Nahum The Elkoshite, A Prophet of Yahweh (YHWH or God), God Himself, and Our Savior, were trying to relay to "all of us" and "each of us" in today's Scriptures. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you today to receive Your Word and Your Message. As we read passages from Your Servant Nahum, please open our hearts and minds to what you are trying to tell us as a group, and what you are saying to us individually. You are Mighty Father and we know You Have Sent To Us, In Your Word, Messages of Encouragement, Discipline, Reconciliation, Salvation, and Love for Your Children. We thank You! Let us come before You today as Your Children and enjoy Our Daily Bread With You, Abba. We Love You And Praise You Father. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Mighty Name We Pray. Amen! The Word of God: The Book of Nahum, A Prophet of God Almighty, Yahweh, and The Savior of The World, Yeshua Jesus Christ: “The oracle concerning Nineveh— The Scroll of The Vision of Nahum The Elkoshite: Yahweh is a jealous God and avenging; Yahweh is avenging and full of wrath. Yahweh takes vengeance against His enemies; He rages against His adversaries. Yahweh is slow to anger but great in power; He will certainly not allow the guilty to go unpunished. He marches in storm wind and in gale; storm clouds are the dust of His Feet.” Nahum 1:1-3 LEB “Yahweh Is Good—a refuge in the day of distress; He knows those who take refuge in Him. But with a rushing torrent He will bring Nineveh to an end; He will chase His enemies into darkness.” Nahum 1:7-8 LEB “Yahweh has commanded concerning you: “No more descendants will bear your name. Out of the house of your gods, will I cut off the engraved image and the molten image. I will make your grave, for you are vile.” Behold, on the mountains The Feet of Him Who Brings Good News (Gospel), who publishes peace! Keep your feasts, Judah! Perform your vows, for the wicked one will no more pass through you. He is utterly cut off.” Nahum 1:14-15 WEB “He who dashes in pieces has come up against you. Keep the fortress! Watch The Way! Strengthen your waist! Fortify your power mightily! For Yahweh restores the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel; for the destroyers have destroyed them, and ruined their vine branches.” Nahum 2:1-2 WEB “Woe to the bloody city! It is all full of lies and robbery. Its victim never departs. The noise of a whip And the noise of rattling wheels, Of galloping horses, Of clattering chariots! Horsemen charge with bright sword and glittering spear. There is a multitude of slain, A great number of bodies, Countless corpses— They stumble over the corpses— Because of the multitude of harlotries of the seductive harlot, The mistress of sorceries, Who sells nations through her harlotries, And families through her sorceries.” Nahum 3:1-4 NKJV “Behold, I AM against you,” says The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) of Hosts; “I will lift your skirts over your face, I will show the nations your nakedness, And the kingdoms your shame. I will cast abominable filth upon you, Make you vile, And make you a spectacle.” Nahum 3:5-6 NKJV “Your shepherds are slumbering, king of Ashur. Your leaders are asleep. Your people are scattered all over the mountains, with no one to round them up. Your wound cannot be healed. Your injury is fatal. Everyone hearing the news about you claps his hands in joy over you. For who has not been overwhelmed by your relentless cruelty?” Nachum (Nam) 3:18-19 CJB Yahweh Yeshua Ha’Mashiach Bless You My Brother and Sisters! Have a wonderful Mighty-Word-Of-God-Week! Thank You Father for LOVING us so much AND the BLESSING of this NEW day. Please continue to fill our HEARTS & MINDS WITH Your TRUTH & LOVE so we stay focused on Your Sustaining GRACE TODAY. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! - God's Way. That’s The Best Way. Period. When someone is discouraged it can be a very powerful emotion. Discouragement is a tool the enemy likes to use on a regular basis, because many times discouragement can fog good decision making and blind our Christ-Centered decisions. Ultimately, discouragement can lead fellow Brothers and Sisters to turn their backs on Our Father and Messiah. When we take a look in The Book of Job we see the enemy in full-effect trying to discourage God's Servant Job. The enemy hit Job with one catastrophe after another and left him in a position that seemed hopeless. When things seemed at their worst, that's when Job's friends seemed to turned on him...and seemingly tried to have him turn on Our Father. How? With discouragement. Let's take a look at Job's wife's response to his situation: “Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” Job 2:9 Before we begin to judge Job's wife, we probably need to do an assessment of the situation. What is the most powerful tool the enemy could use to discourage us? Through the ones we love most, and those who love us the most. Sometimes the people who love us most struggle to see us go through tough times. They don't want to witness us hurting, discouraged, or going through a rough patch in life, because they care for us deeply. This is where our fallen nature takes center stage. How does the enemy use our loves ones against us? By having them try and coax us into taking the easy way out... man's way out. In a world filled with instant gratification, rarely do people consider the cost of their actions and decisions. The enemy knows this and uses our loved ones to try and persuade us, or lead us, into a quick, easy temptation and right out of the The Will of Our Father. A prime example of this, though he was dealing with The Master Who Couldn't Be Discouraged, is Peter. Our Savior had to deal with one of His servants and best friends urging Him not to speak about His Future Prophetic Fulfillment and being sacrificed on the cross. Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Master, for the benefit of all our sakes, knew just how to deal with that situation... He wasn't putting up with it. Our Messiah knew the source of this dissent and fleshly thinking, He Spoke With Authority and Declared: "Get Behind Me Satan!" Let's take a look: “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:21-24 Notice, after Yeshua, Jesus says "get behind me satan," one of the very next things He says is "follow ME"... not follow man. We as Followers of Our Savior have a large responsibility to one another. When we come to a situation where we see a Brother or Sister facing a tough life situation we must be mindful of the advice and direction we try to lead them. We must make sure we are giving God's Instructions, not our instructions, and definitely not our opinions. It is important for us all to fight the urge to lead our loved one dealing with the issue to the easy way out. We must make sure we are not encouraging them to give in or give up on their walk with God. We must learn to join our Brother or Sister in their struggle and encourage them to take God's Way, The Way, and follow The Commandments of God even when it seems like "the hard way." We all have heard the saying: "nothing good comes easy." While this is not always true and can be very worldly, fleshly thinking, there is another saying or Truth that we can hold on to, and we can always share with the discouraged we love without tempting them to "cop out." God's Way Is Always The Best Way. Period. The Wisdom of Life, The Word Of God: “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 16:25 “They do not push one another; Every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, They are not cut down.” Joel 2:8 “Then David said to the messenger, “Thus you shall say to Joab: ‘Do not let this thing displease you, for the sword devours one as well as another. Strengthen your attack against the city, and overthrow it.’ So encourage him.” II Samuel 11:25 “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.” I Thessalonians 5:9-14 Please leave any questions, comments, insights, Biblical Nuggets, encouragement, prayer requests, or thoughts in the comments below. |
