Good Morning Friday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day, Your Day. Please grant us TRUTH, WISDOM, DISCERNMENT, UNDERSTANDING, and KNOWLEDGE. Father we ask this so that we will not be conformed to this world, but TRANSFORMED by the renewing of our MINDS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST'S Name. Amen. - An Exercise In Connecting With God Our Father, The One True and Living God - Joy #2 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek in Your Word. Help us to show our Faith. Help us to find Your Peace and JOY. Be with us. Thank You. In Yeshua, Jesus's Name we pray. Amen Step 2 - Read Read the Scripture slowly. Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “Consider it all JOY, my brothers, whenever you encounter various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4 “If you keep my commandments, you will remain in My Love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in His Love. I have spoken these things to you in order that My JOY may be in you, and your JOY may be made complete. This is My Commandment: that you Love one another just as I have Loved you.” John 15:10-12 “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the originator and perfecter of faith, who for the JOY that was set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and has sat down at The Right Hand of The Throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 “whom, although you have not seen, you love; in whom now you believe, although you do not see Him, and you rejoice greatly with JOY inexpressible and Full of Glory,” 1 Peter 1:8 “For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and JOY in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17 “Serve Yahweh with JOY; come into his presence with exultation.” Psalms 100:2 “And the meek have JOY after JOY in Yahweh, and the needy of the people shall rejoice in the holy one of Israel.” Isaiah 29:19 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. What is God trying to tell you? Step 4 - Respond Respond to The Word you just read. Talk to Your Father about how you feel. Tell Him what is on your mind. Tell him what is on your heart. As you go through your day today keep your eyes open to what you read, what you uncovered, or what you spoke to God about. You may find Him showing up in places you didn't expect. God Bless Bless Brothers and Sisters. May The God Of All Good Things, Our Father In Heaven, Give each and everyone of you PEACE and JOY today.

Good Morning Thursday...
Father Thank You for this NEW Day. Thank You for Your REVELATION. Thank You for Your Gift of Life, which IS OURS IN Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. We praise You, we worship You, and we pray to You in Yeshua, Jesus Christ’s Name. AMEIN! - An Exercise In Connecting With Our Father, The One True and Living God - Joy #1 Step 1 - Prayer (Begin With Focus And Openness Towards God) Prayer: Dear Father God, please connect with us here as we seek in Your Word. Help us to show our Joy in You. Help us to find Your Peace. Be with us. Thank You. In Yeshua, Jesus's Name we pray. Amen Step 2 - Read Read the Scripture slowly. Be aware of any interesting words, phrases, or sentences. Read over The Scripture a second Time. Read: “So they read distinctly from The Book, in The Law (Instructions) of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading. And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “This day is holy to The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) your God; do not mourn nor weep.” For all the people wept, when they heard the words of The Law (Instructions). Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the JOY of The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) is your strength.” So the Levites quieted all the people, saying, “Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved.” And all the people went their way to eat and drink, to send portions and REJOICE greatly, because they understood the words that were declared to them.” Nehemiah 8:8-12 “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in The Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. And you became followers of us and of The Lord, having received The Word in much affliction, with JOY of The Holy Spirit, so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe.” I Thessalonians 1:2-7 “Behold, this is the JOY of His way, And out of the earth others will grow. Behold, God will not cast away the blameless, Nor will He uphold the evildoers. He will yet fill your mouth with LAUGHING, And your lips with REJOICING.” Job 8:19-21 “Praise The LORD (Yahweh)! Praise, O servants of The LORD (Yahweh), Praise the name of The LORD (Yahweh)!” Psalms 113:1 Step 3 - Reflect Reflect on what stands out to you as you read. God Bless Everyone. May The God Of All Good Things Give each and everyone of you JOY and PEACE. Good Morning Wednesday...
Father Thank You for this NEW DAY. Thank You for each NEW BREATH You Give Us. We ask You for DISCERNMENT with the things we may not be “seeing,” so that we may grow closer to You. Help us to have COMPLETE LIVES, showing Your Glory. We ask these things IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name. Amein! Had a great conversation with a Brother one time after our Sabbath Bible Study that started with defining Biblical slavery, and ended up with a talk about money. Had almost the exact conversation in the last couple of days and so this devotion seemed fitting. This servant prays that it edifies and blesses you. Have a wonderful day everyone and have a great God-Blessed Wednesday. Shalom! “He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage.” Proverbs 11:28 “The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own esteem. Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.” Proverbs 18:11-12 - Mo Money, Mo Problems We all want to be happy, right? Of course, but what makes us happy? It may sound strange but many people have trouble placing exactly what makes them happy. Stranger than that is the fact that some people think certain things make their lives happier, when in fact those very things bring misery, heartbreak, absentmindedness, resent, and strife. One of those very things?... Money. Something To Think About: What amount of money could you attain that will bring you happiness? Would millions make you happy, or are you content with just a raise at work? While it may be hard to believe, no amount of money can bring contentment, peace, Love, or happiness. The natural order that Our Father Has Created just doesn’t work that way. I have been blessed to travel all over and one thing that always struck me was this: The richest (monetarily) people I ever met were also the most miserable people I ever met. Not coincidentally, the most joyful, happy, and peaceful people I ever met were the poorest. That’s right. The millionaires, and even billionaires, I met while working in “the biz” were some of the most unhealthy, spiteful, vindictive, and down right evil people I ever met, while the people I met on mission trips with no roofs on their house were the happiest. The difference? The rich acted as their own gods, having enough money to convince themselves of anything, while the poor had The Fullness of The One True and Living God residing with them. The rich took care of their own problems, or so they thought, with a check, while the poor completely depended on God Our Father in Faith and Love. One of the richest men who ever lived was once asked: “How many more millions of dollars would it take for you to be satisfied?” His reply: “More.” There may be no more clear example of how a rich and godless person’s brain works. Money takes preeminence over all else and what are they left with? Some cotton pieces of paper that really aren’t worth the paper they are printed on. Greed and the pursuit of money creates an unsatisfied hunger inside of us, and it can never be satisfied. The example above is clear evidence. Just do a search for former lottery winners and take a look at how many of them are “happy”... almost none. The stories I have read and seen end with most of them saying: “Winning the lottery is the worst thing that ever happened to me.” They end up penny-less, with no friends, and the weight of the world on their shoulders. Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, told us that we cannot serve money, or mammon, and God Our Father. That may be a tough pill to swallow, but it is The Truth. If it is a tough pill to swallow, you may want to say a prayer and ask Our Father to show you The Truth. Maybe some will ask: “Can’t we serve both and be fine?” The answer is no. Our Savior teaches us that if we decide to choose money over Him, we will end up slaves to not only our money, but our possessions as well. Serving one ends in “spinning our wheels” while serving The ONE ends in Freedom, Fulfillment, and Life. May we all choose The One Who Holds Eternal Life. May we all choose The One Who Can Fully Meet Our Needs. And, May we all choose The One Who Can Give Us Riches Far Beyond What We Can Possess Or Even Imagine. May We All Choose The God Of All Creation and His Son The Savior Of The Whole World. Father, we ask this in The Name of Your Most Precious Gift To All Mankind, Your Son and Our Savior, Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Amen!!! The Richness of Christ, The Word of God: “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” Matthew 6:22-27 “Remember Lot’s wife.” Luke 17:32 “Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding, But a rod is for the back of him who is devoid of understanding. Wise people store up knowledge, But the mouth of the foolish is near destruction. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city; The destruction of the poor is their poverty. The labor of the righteous leads to life, The wages of the wicked to sin. He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.” Proverbs 10:13-17 “The rich man is wise in his own eyes, But the poor who has understanding searches Him out.” Proverbs 28:11 “Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Mark 10:23-31 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 “But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!” Acts 8:20 Good Morning Tuesday...

FATHER thank you for THIS NEW DAY! As we rise to meet this new day, please let us be filled with Your Spirit. Wherever we go, LET US SPREAD LOVE, JOY, PEACE, GOODNESS, and FAITHFULNESS. Let us desire to become more like You and to worship You IN ALL WE DO. Help us desire these things so much more than the sin that entices us. In Yeshua, Jesus Christ's Name we pray. Amen. Thank you to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today's devotion/study. "Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true." Acts 17:11 - A Berean Breakdown: A Deeper Dig - Spirit “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!" But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Matthew 16:21-23 NKJV Like Peter, we could be motivated to believe or disbelieve something, accept or reject something, say something or keep silent, depending on the circumstance. Additionally, we may have no reaction at all at the moment of communication, but the thought is stored and available for later use or supplementation. It is entirely possible for a person to go through his entire life as a pawn of Satan and never know it. This situation reflects a usage of what the Bible's writers term "spirit." Spirit is the English translation of the Hebrew ruach (Strong's #7304), in the Old Testament and the Greek pneuma (Strong's #5141) in the New. It can literally mean "a current of air," "breath," "blast," or "breeze." However, when used figuratively, it indicates "vital principle," "disposition," "the rational soul," etc., or an invisible super-being such as God, Christ, an angel, or a demon. Whether used literally, as with "wind" or "breath," or figuratively, as indicating God, angel, or demon, it describes something that is invisible and immaterial and at the same time powerful, even a thing of considerable power. The foremost elements of spirit, then, are invisibility, immateriality, and power. E.W. Bullinger remarks in Appendix 9 of the Companion Bible: The meaning of the word is to be deduced only from its usage. The one root idea running through all of the passages is invisible force. . . . [I]n whatever sense it is used, [it] always represents that which is invisible except by its manifestations. He also shows that ruach is used in nine different ways in the Old Testament, while pneuma is used fourteen different ways in the New Testament. In John 6:63, Jesus says, "It is the Spirit [which] gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life." Here is a clear example of the figurative use of "spirit." Words are the symbols used for communication; they are received into our minds through sight, as when reading, or sound, as when hearing. But once in the mind, nothing material is packed into our brain. Words - and thus the concepts they carry with them - are spirit because they are immaterial, invisible, and of considerable power, depending on how we use them. Thus, we can receive "spirit" in the form of words or concepts from a spirit being. In this case, it is in reality "thought transference" because no sound is heard through our ears. Just because one is close to Christ does not eliminate the prospect that a demon will communicate with and through him. As seen in Matthew 16:22-23, Peter did the speaking, but Jesus spoke directly to Satan, naming him as the source of Peter's outburst against God's will that Jesus should suffer and die. Without Peter's recognizing it, he permitted himself to be a conduit for Satan's will. The disciple's "good" intention was against God's will, and Jesus thus judged it to be Good Morning Sunday...
Father thank You for this AMAZING DAY. Please fill us with Your Spirit and help us to be a LIGHT. Endow us with Your PEACE and WISDOM, so we may bring LIFE to this world. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST Name we pray. Amen! - Follow Who? The Leader. There Is Only ONE.☝️ Today, let’s talk about leadership. Leadership is a subject there are literally hundreds of thousands, and maybe even millions, of books written about. Where do most of these books get it wrong? They go wrong when they teach that leadership comes from "within us." Most of these books teach that if we, by our own power, influence others, we will have them follow us correctly. Most "self-help" leadership books teach "by our own power" we can manipulate our situation, team, or a group to do what we say. While this may be true, we can manipulate others to do what we want, if we aren't ourselves following the right path...we can lead ourselves right into the enemies trap. So what is it we must do to be a good leader? Follow. Because God's Word tells us "no man is good (Mark 10:18)" and only God Himself Is Good, why would we want to follow any one else's instructions besides His. Our Father Gave Us A Perfect Example Of Leadership...In His Perfect Son. The world tells us "the leader" goes first, The Bible says the leader should put himself last. The world tells us that "leaders lead," The Bible tells us leaders follow. Let's get a couple witnesses from Our Perfect Leader on that: “Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” Luke 9:23 “And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” Mark 9:35 Our Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ, gathered His disciples and what is the first command He gave them? ... "Follow Me." They all became leaders of the first century church and let Our Father and Savior work "through them" to change this world forever. 2000 years later and we still talk about their "Acts" in The Bible and they are still all relevant today as they were then. That's Amazing! How did they get this kind of amazing leadership? They followed...Jesus, Yeshua, The Prince of Peace, The Light of All People. Think about this: You are in unfamiliar territory and you don't know where you are going. You have to follow a friend to get where you are going. Since you don't truly know where you are or how to get where you are going, are you going to just drive off and try to get there by "your own power?" Of course not. We have to trust our friend to get where we are going. We have to accept our friends leadership otherwise we get lost. We don't start paying attention to random things and try to make it on our own... because we don't know where we are at. We must focus on Our Friend and follow, or we will get lost. We also have to follow them closely. If we get ahead, we get lost. If we fall behind, we get lost. It is the same with Our Ultimate Friend, Our Savior and Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ. We must follow Him to get to the right place in order to lead others, and this comes through self sacrifice, humility, and kindness. This is how Our Savior was a leader, and this is the perfect example we must follow. If we try to do it "by our own power" eventually we become prideful, haughty, and we all know what happens when we get prideful. Let's take a look: “Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18 All the great leaders in The Bible besides Yeshua, Jesus Christ, followed God when they were successful. Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, and many others were great men of God Almighty when following Him. But what happened when they followed their own intuitions? Adam fell, Noah got drunk, Abraham had a rebellious child, and David committed adultery. These are the things that end up happening when we lead by "our own power." We must accept we are a fallen people and need A Better Leader than ourselves. We have to trust Our Savior and High Priest to lead us where we really need to go, otherwise we are just following an inferior leader, whether that is ourselves or another person. We have to accept His Leadership. We must follow His Will before ours. If we but stay focused on His Leadership, His Path, His Direction, His Example, we will be in a much better position to lead others than any position we could ever find on our own. He Will Lead Us Where We Need To Go. A bonus to following Him...He Will Reveal To Each And Everyone One Of Us Our Own Special Life Purpose. Praise His Name! The Leadership of Our Savior, The Word of God: Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior, made leaders by telling His People: “Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19 “My sheep hear My Voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27 “The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” John 1:43 “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I Am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” John 12:26 For The Body of Messiah Yeshua: Today, Let’s Enjoy A Little Neon Love From Our Father and Savior2/12/2022 Good Morning Sabbath...

Father thank You for this NEW DAY. Strengthen us to walk in what you have already PREPARED. Show us which way to go and GUIDE US with Your Wisdom ALONG THE WAY. IN, YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! A Big Thank You to berean.org and Brother Richard T. Ritenbaugh for today’s devotion. “Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.” Acts 17:11 - A Berean Breakdown: The Favor (Grace) Of Paul’s Thorn “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” II Corinthians 12:9 NKJV God's grace is sufficient for us. Grace in general terms is "favor." It is what God favors us with, what He gives to us. It can include spiritual gifts or physical things that He provides. By His grace, we have food to eat every day, we have clothes to wear, and we have a roof over our heads or cars to drive. Paul considered his "thorn in the flesh" to be part of God's grace, a hard thing to say. How could he say that an affliction that God allowed could be part of His grace toward him? Because with an infirmity, whatever it happened to be, God balanced out for Paul the revelations that he had received, so that he would not become big-headed, sin presumptuously, and lose his salvation. It was good for Paul to be afflicted, because if he were not afflicted, he just might have done something that he would have regretted, like presumptuously taking upon himself too much, more than had been given. So Paul says, "I'm content being afflicted, because I know that God's grace is sufficient for me. This affliction is good for me, helping me to make it into God's Kingdom." We have a hard time thinking this way. We consider this sort of affliction to be evil, but Paul turns that on its head, saying, "No, it is good, because with this affliction, I am weak, and because I am weak, then I don't get the big head. Then Christ can work in and through me, and the work gets done." So he was content. Good Morning Thursday...
Father thank You for this NEW DAY. Thank You for giving us Brothers and Sisters to share in this WONDERFUL JOURNEY back to You. Please use us to help the hurting, the sick, the fatherless, and the weak. Help us to show YOUR LOVE in this dark world, because we know Love COVERS a multitude of SINS. In YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. AMEN! - Amazing Psalms (Part 4): Praise, Prophecy, and Painting A Picture of The King The various authors of Psalms, David, Solomon, Ethan, and others knew a little something about Praise, Prophecy, and Our Savior Aka The King. These authors knew how to give proper worship and credit to Our Father and Our Savior in an unbelievably beautiful way. Of course we know how, and why, they did this... they were servants of The Most High God. It surprises me when I hear people say that Our Savior isn't found in The Old Testament. It surprises me because the entire Bible is chock full of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and now that this is known to me, I don't know how I could have ever missed it... or anyone else who is actually reading it. While many consider Psalms just to be a "hymnbook," I would prepose that there is so much more there than just hymns. I would propose that the Psalms are absolutely filled with Praise, Prophecy, and Painting A Picture Of Our King. Today let's take a look at a few Psalms, particularly 2,4, and 5. Take your time reading them and see if you can spot when they are talking about Yeshua, Jesus Christ Our Savior. Keep your eyes open for the beautiful Praise of God Our Father and the beautiful Praise of God The Son. Be aware of Prophecy when it is present, and take note of when The Scriptures are Painting A Picture of Our King. If we take the time to study the Psalms closely, I believe we will all see something new to us, something Alive in the words of David and the other authors, and something that we can hang on to for Dear Life... Yeshua, Jesus Christ Himself! 🙌🔥🎯 God Bless Everybody and have a Great-God-Almighty-Filled Thursday! The Word of God: Praise, Prophecy, and Painting A Picture of The King: Psalms: “Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.” He Who Sits In The Heavens Shall Laugh; The Lord (YHWH) shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His Wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King On My Holy Hill of Zion.” “I will declare the decree: The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your Inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your Possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ” Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss The Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His Wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalms 2:1-12 “Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer. How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn My Glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? Selah But know that The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) has set apart for Himself Him who is godly; The LORD (YHWH) will hear when I call to Him. Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah Offer The Sacrifices of Righteousness, And put your trust in The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh). There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), lift up The Light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), make Me dwell in safety.” Psalms 4:1-8 “Give ear to my words, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh); In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You. The boastful shall not stand in Your Sight; You hate all workers of iniquity. You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD (YHWH, Yahweh) abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. But as for me, I will come into Your House in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your Holy Temple. Lead me, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), in Your Righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue. Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You. But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who Love Your Name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD (YHWH, Yahweh), will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.” Psalms 5:1-12 Good Morning Wednesday...
Father thank You for this NEW day. Thank You for this day’s BREATH that we BREATHE. Help us, guide us, fill us with Your Light, and lead us to be MORE like Your Son YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST. Help us to know which battles we don’t need to fight, and when we should “STAND STILL” and SEE OUR SALVATION. IN YESHUA, JESUS CHRIST’s Name we pray. Amen! A big THANK YOU to our late Brother, John W. Ritenbaugh, and berean.org for today's devotion. - A Berean Breakdown: The Source of Every Good - Psalms 16, 17, and 68 "You will show me The Path of Life; In Your Presence is fullness of joy; At Your Right Hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalm 16:11 "Let my vindication come from Your Presence; Let Your Eyes look on the things that are upright." Psalm 17:2 "As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at The Presence of God." Psalm 68:2 "The earth shook; The heavens also dropped rain at The Presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at The Presence of God, The God of Israel." Psalm 68:8 In God's presence—in an intimate relationship with Him—is the source of every good, righteous, and positive attitude and act. Because the justifying work of Jesus Christ gives us access to God, prayer brings us near so He can give these things, and we can receive them. This can be illustrated in a simple way. We have probably been in the close presence of a person of positive, uplifting attitudes, who radiates enthusiasm, zeal, confidence, gentle humor, and determination. On the other hand, it is likely we have also been in the presence of someone who wears a sour countenance, seethes with anger, trembles in fear, wallows in lethargy, or whines about his "victimization" at the hands of unseen people or forces. What happens to our attitude in either situation? Unless we resist, we tend to respond to the strength of the other's attitudes. A literal, spiritual transference of attitude takes place. What happens if we are some distance from either of these persons, or even if near, we are completely disinterested? It does not affect us in the least. Why? Because we are neither near enough nor interested enough to be affected. It is the spirit of these people radiating out from them that influences and perhaps even changes our spirit. This also gives insight into why we carnally reflect Satan's spirit: It permeates our environment. Similarly, prayer to God through Jesus Christ brings us into the very presence of the most positive, righteous, and unchanging attitudes that exist in the entire universe! God greatly desires us to have the qualities of His Spirit, and being in His presence is one way He accomplishes this. This is why people can leave God's presence in prayer and feel peace, joy, or confidence—or humble and chastened because God has led them to remorse and repentance. |
